Recipe for disaster
Alchy tapped her finger along the crystal vial. Black liquid glimpse along the light as a small wave formed within. She had finished her potion and now all she needed was an opportunity. If this works then transferring someones hate and anger towards her would be so very easy. And after that Alchy would only let her kill Juliet and complete the transformation. She was so close, so very close to her goal. Mumm-Ra can keep all those stones, but the one within Aideen was going to be hers. She had big plans. Once she found Tigres son and got the key from her, she will be able to unchain the war spirit and bring him here in order to cause chaos on this planet.
But for now one problem at a time.
She walked out of the room and made her way to Mumm-Ra's main room where she was he would be. As she turned the corner she saw Jewel or Juliet as Aideen knew her by looking out into space. Her face seemed trouble by something.
"What is it, Jewel?" she questioned but didn't stop her walking. In truth she wanted to ignore her just like she had been doing but if Jewel started to doubt her or become suspicious of her plan. She would ruend all she has work for. And that she was going to make sure didn't happen.
Jewel silently followed Alchy. Her mind troubled by the odd dream she had but at the same time she was beginning to question her masters motives. "I will kill Aideen, right? That is the plan?" she question and the witch could hear the hesitation in her voices.
"Are you having second thoughts?"
Jewel stayed quick before hesitantly shaking ber head. "N..no. I..I just feel like that is not what you want. What exactly do you have plan for Aideen? What do you want from her?"
Alchy stopped and turned towards her. Looking at her with piercing black eyes she grabbed her throat and slammed her on the wall. "Do not question me, child," she snarled making the girl look at her with wide frighten eyes. "You will get your revenge, but my business is my own. Yo do not question it. You do not ask about it. Do. You. understand?" the girl nodded quickly before being released. "Now, leave. I have far more important things to do."
Jewel left quickly without another word. She knew what Alchy was like if she didn't obey.
The black witch snarled in displeased before continuing to her destination. When she entered the room Mumm-Ra was looking down on the spirit water. The image of the Thundercats and Shannen clear for her to see. Her eyes laid upon her daughter. The girl may look like her but her personality was completely like her father. At one point Alchy had been pleased. The man she had chosen was cunning and brave. Unwilling to bow to anyone that didn't earn it, he created a name for himself and an organization many feared. He was her equal the only thing was that he was the balance that the world needed. The darkness to the light. And even though he was darkness he was not evil. He's role was to balance the light powers Tigris had. He could have ruled by her side but he had understood the balanced and had turned her down.
"Her heart is slowly being tainted by evil. You were right to use the young king," Mumm-Ra praised.
The water waver before the image of Aideen appeared. Her eyes hard with anger and confusion. "But of course. Love is nothing more than a bridge to darkness."
"Yes, but she still refuses the darkness within her."
"Thank is why I made this," she lifted the vail. "It is a potion that will ensure that her darkness grows. It will also be able to show her one of her most painful memories as of yet. In a sequence of dreams." The mummy nodded in satisfaction. "Of course we only need someone to put it in her water and make sure she drinks it."
The mummy turned towards the water. "I know just the person for that mission."
"How did this happen, Lion-O?" Isha asked as she stood in front of the lion king. They were resting and waiting for Cheetara to finish patching Aideen up. It seemed the young girls wounds were deeper than they had originally thought. "I thought you would protect her!"
The young lion kept his head down knowing full well that it was his fault this happened. He should have protected her. Why did everytime she was with him she ended up hurt. "I'm sorry, Isha" he apologized.
Pumyra came to stand next to him, "he was trying to save me and make sure that Mumm-ra didn't get the sword. She shouldn't have come with us, if she wasn't able to take care of herself."
Isha clenched her fist, "excuse me? The one who suggested the plan in the first place was you. He followed You. Don't you dare came and say that she shouldn't have gone with you." Isha was so close to shouting at her, but she knew that would do nothing to help the situation. She was furious at both Lion-O for being blind and following his feeling for the cat than to listen to his friends. Her attention turned back to the lion who still wouldn't look at her. "She advised you to think of another way. She knew this was a bad idea, but you decided to follow her!"
The lions head drop as the older girls words hit him. "I know. It's all my fault. I should have listen and thought of something else."
The older girl looked at him with narrowed eyes her anger wasn't directly at him, but at the puma instead. She knew the cat was just trying to make him do what she wanted and that anger her more. Lion-O was a good friend of hers and she knew he would do anything to keep Aideen safe, but he needed to figure out his feelings and not get them involve with his duty. "I told you Lion-O your decisions don't just affect you but all of us," she stated, "if you lose this war you bring everyone down with you. You're king, but you are not my king. Aideen is my queen and priestess. She decided to follow you, don't make her truest in you be a mistake.' She let out a sigh as she looked at him in the eyes, "You're going to have to chose at one point, Lion-O, between Aideen and..." she didn't finish, but she knew he understood. With that she turn away from the cat and made her way towards her cousin.
It was cold. So cold. A small girl tried her best to cover herself with the torn pieces of cloths she had. It was hard to keep out the cold with such thin torn cloths and the winter wind never helped. Her small naked feet touched the floor getting frozen with every step she took. It was still a surprise that she was even alive. But then again it was all a game to them. A game to see how long she lasted until she was able to crack. Until her fighting spirit was broken and shatter just like her parents were when they were kill in front of her.
She had no one. No one in this world. They thought nothing about her people. She was nothing to them. They knew she couldn't hate that's why they took advantage of her. She hated that she couldn't do anything.
"You are important. You must not tilt the balance between good and bad. You must keep the stone pure. Hate, jealousy, anger, greed, and selfishness have no place in your heart."
They had told her that many times that now she wonder if she was anything other than a puppet in this world. She hopped to one day end this misery so no one else went through it. So no one else became a puppet like she did. "one day.. one day I will end it all."
Aideen woke up with a gasp as her heart beat fast in her chest. She open and closed her eyes before standing up, sleep long gone. Looking around she notice the others weren't in the tank. Cheetara had advised her to rest while they drove back to the dog city. Her chest still hurt from the attacks and her arm was healing already, but was told to try and not use it or else the wound would re-open. She hadn't talked to either Pumyra or Lion-O. It was for the best after all. Closing her eyes she tried to take deep breaths. Her thoughts went back to that strange dream. It was an odd dream far stranger than anything she had dreamed and she knew it wasn't one of her memories. Looking down at her hands she saw them shaking. Some how the dream had brought fear to her a fear she hadn't felt in a long time.
Taking a deep breath she walked out of the tank. There was no point in sleeping now. Looking at the blue sky she laid by a tree as she remember what had happen that day. Why had she done that? Why had she agreed with those dark beings? She could still feel the anger inside of her. What was she angry at? Or rather who? Letting out a frustrating groan she brought her knees to her chest and lower her head, eyes closed.
"Aideen?" a voiced called her. She knew it too well to look up.
"Yes," she said as the person sat next to her. Her voice no more than a whisper as she didn't want to talk. Her companion stayed silent knowing she wouldn't talk do him unless she wanted to. After a few minutes of silence she let out a deep sigh and looked up. "I think I like your brother."
Tygra looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Not expecting her to say that, but not surprise by declaration. "You just notices that?"
She glared at him, "I'm not meant to like him" she wrinkled her nose as she looked away. "I'm not suppose to like anyone."
"Suppose or don't want to?" he question.
"Suppose too."
He rolled his eyes at her, deciding to ignored that for now, "very well and why not?"
Aideen let out a growl as she threw her hands in the air in frustration. "You saw what happen yesterday. I will be leaving soon and the last thing I want is to like someone I will be leaving. Not to mention..." she let out a sigh, "that I don't want to get hurt."
He looked at her and let out a sigh. He could already tell something was bothering her and decided figure out the first problem. "What do you mean by what happen?" he asked. "That out bust you had earlier?" she nodded. "What exactly happen in the cave?"
With a sigh she began to tell him. How she didn't trust Pumyra how Lion-O was taking her side. And the feeling she was getting from it. "I don't trust her and your brother is an idiot for trusting her. I mean," she threw her hands in the air, "he just meet her and all of a sudden whatever she says is a good idea. I told him not to go in the cave. I advised him not to hand the sword over to her and what does he do? He does exactly that. He doesn't listen to me anymore!" She turn to him only to see him with an amused look. "What?!"
"So.." he began with a smile that annoyed her. "You got jealous?" she blushed before letting out a groan that answer his question. He watched as she put her head on her hands that blush never leaving her cheeks. "And that is wrong why?"
"You don't get it. Somethings wrong with me," she said in a serious voice as she looked down at her hand. "The thoughts I'm having. The voices that keep trying to make me angry and turn my back on all of you." She stood up before begining to pace back and forth. "That dark presence. I'm beginning to feel like I'm falling in the darkness. Those dark thoughts are there. I'm not supposed to have them!" she clenched her head. It was all to much far to much that she felt like she was going to go crazy. Both sides tugging at her to turn to them. Never letting the pull stop and making her doubt all the people around her. "It's all driving me crazy. Who am I suppose to believe? Who do I truest? Can I even truest my own thought?!"
Tygra looked up at her as the girl paces around in panic. He could tell by just looking at her that there was something wrong. Before he could answer another voice spoke up. "Ignore them Aideen." They turn to see Isha standing a few feet away. "Whatever they're saying ignore it. You are good and that is all you should believe," she said.
Aideen let out a huff of irritation. "You sound just like the elder back at the castle," she mutter, "always telling me who I was."
"But this is you," she reassured, "The voices you hear, that whispered those dark thoughts? They aren't yours, ignore them."
Aideen frowned before looking away, "easy for you to say. You don't have them in your head. You don't hear what they say... Or how right they sound." The last part she mutter it not sure how her two cousins would react to hearing her say that. The look in their eyes told her they had heard her. She looked away form them. She felt like she was reveling to much and she didn't want that. And yet at that moment she didn't care, "I feel like something in me is changing. I don't know how long I can keep from believing them. I can't even recognize who's the enemy any more. Not to mention..."
"Not to mention what, Aideen?" Isha question as she came closer to her cousin.
She closed her eyes, "not to mention that I feel as if.." she swallowed and clenched her hands, "as if I..."
"As if you what?" Isha presses with concern clear in her voice. She slowly stepped closer to the girl worried of what she would say.
The young girl bit her lip debating on whether she should talk or just not say anything. Don't truest them, it was that voice again that angry voice that was far more louder and clear than the spirits of evil. They won't help you. No one will. Don't forget about Julie, she knew it was right. She also knew that trusting it was a bad idea, whoever it was had clearly shut all of the other spirits voice and while she was glade for that, it was becoming clear that whoever this voices belong too was far more honest and truthful than the others and that was far more frighting. They may help you now. After all they need the crystal, they need you to be on their side. Look at your cousin. Do you think she doesn't know? She looked at Isha's expression full of worry, but her body language showed the girl being on guard as she looked at her almost hesitating to get closer and leaving a gape between the two girls. Look at her! She knows something is wrong and she is afraid. Afraid of you. Just like your whole kingdom was. Just like your parents were. Aideen hugged herself as she looked away. They had that expression- that cautious expression as if she was a ticking boom ready to explode.
"Aideen?" Tygra called softly standing up looking at her with worry.
Aideen took a deep breath an turn towards them. She force herself to give a small smile, "Sorry, I'm fine. Just forget what I said," she said.
Isha looked at her cousin a frown forming as she sow that smile that seemed so odd on her face. "Aideen, what were you going to say?" she questions.
"Nothing," the girl replied, "nothing at all. I..." she took a deep breath, "I'm just being paranoid that's all." She tried to smile at them but it didn't reach her eyes, she knew they could see it. Without another word she walked away. Her thought clouded by dark thought and mistrust to those she had just learn to truest.
Both cousins looked at each other before looking at the girls retrieving form. They were both thinking the something she was hiding something from them. Something very big.
Aideen sat alone on top of a tree as she looked at the dawning sky, her taught on what to make out of her feelings. She should have known it was easier to deny them than to stop them "Argh!" she shouted as she leaned against the tree branch. "I.. I like him. By earth, I really like him," she confessed. Covering her face she let out an annoyed groan. "Why! Why must I feel like this!"
"Love is but a curse," the voice said. She could feel it around her but this time she didn't do anything. She was frustrated, angry and tire to do anything other than listen. "No matter what we always feel it. Let it go and you shall be pure for eternity. Cherish it in your heart and you shall fall in darkness. You were born this way, my dear. You who love more than anyone on earth."
"Go away, please," she pleaded as she wrapped her arms around her. "Leave me alone."
"I cannot," it whispered close to her ear.
"Why?"
"Because I am a part of you."
Aideen's eyes widen, "What."
"You will know within time," it said. Aideen watched as her shadow looked back at her. Her hands shook as she stared at red slit eyes. "You will have to chose. Just like all the priestess and queens before you."
"Aideen," someone called from under her. Startled, the girl looked down at the cheetah who had a worried expression, "Are you all right?"
"Uh- yeah I'm fine. It...it's nothing," she replied. She looked back exception to see the shadow but it was gone. With a deep breath she closed her book and hopped down. "What's going on?"
"They're still trying to fix the book," Cheetara answer.
"They still haven't gotten it to work?" she question. The cheetah shook her head. With a sigh the girl leaned against the tree. She could feel the cheetahs hesitation. "Just ask, Cheetara."
The cheetah came to stand next to her. "What's going on, Aideen? I know there's more than what you told the others." She touched her shoulder offering her comfort, "Maybe I can help. We are friends after all, are we not?"
She gave a small smile, "yeah, we are." With a sigh she lower her head, "I don't know what's wrong, Cheetara. I.. I feel like there's a war within me. And... and what I feel for Lion-O is making it worse." She looked at her with a sad expression. "How do I make it stop?"
Cheetara gave her a soft look, "you can't make it stop. Nor should you run away from it. This could lead to something good." She tried her best to believe her, but the young girl knew that her life has always been hard. What different would liking someone do, other than make it worse. It happened once it was bound to happen again.
"I already liked someone and let say nothing good happen," she answered. "Be sided I already have enough to deal with. My memories and Juliet. Not to mention my aunt who is trying to kill me."
"Nothing in life is easy but it tends to give you some happiness," she replied. Aideen knew she was right after all she was given this group of friends who have helped her in anyway they can. "You're memories will soon come back. As for Juliet, you know we will help you in any way we can. You're not alone."
Aideen let out a sigh before she straighten up, "Your right. I'm not alone anymore." She frowned at that not liking what she said, "no, I've never been alone to begin with. I'm very glade I came here. It seems I have more than I thought I did. I just never saw it." A smile, a real smile formed on her lips, " And now, I have all of you after all."
Cheetara looked at her from the corner of her eye, "And Lion-O?"
The young girl shook her head, her smile vanishing at the mention of the lion, "it doesn't matter. We can't be together. He... he already choose Pumyra," she let out a sigh of defeat. "Not that I gave him much of a choose after all I pushed him away. And I may leave after this is all over." Her shoulders drop as she thought of her leaving them. This group who she had learn to truest and care about. "What future would our feeling have?"
"They may not have a future or they may," the Cheetah began, "but you won't know unless you try. Stop thinking about the future and instead think of now. You have time now. The question is will you try or never know."
"It's too late," she replied.
"It's never too late."
Isha looked at the two cats with a bored expression. "How long until we reach dog city?" she asked. She was hoping to reunite soon with the two kitten it was boring without them. Everyone was all serious and gloomy or, in Cheetara's and Tigra's case, all lovey dovey. It was getting very annoying and worse as time went by.
"Were two days out," Panthro informed. She let out a groan as she sank deeper into her sit. Great, two more days, she thought.
Tygra looked at them, "The sooner we meet up with Wilykit and Kat the sooner we get back to searching for the next stone."
The older girl stood up and stretched. "Now that the sword is in Mumm-ra hands we have to get the rest of the stones or else we might be fighting a lost war." She began to make her way out along with both cats. "Your brother just couldn't resist," she turn to them and batted her eyes as she tilted her head to the side trying to look innocent, " those amber eyes and that voice that only speaks insults and words that make him feel guilt. Bleah!" She made gauging noise as she turn from them. She will never understand what love was.
"Isha, what are you doing?" Aideen asked. Her eyes looked at her suspiciously as the cheetah walked next to her.
"Nothing," she said innocently. Aideen didn't believe her as she looked at her with narrow eyes and arms crossed.
"Has anyone seen Lion-O and Pumyra?" Cheetara asked.
Isha groaned while Panthro gave a knowing grin, "He invited her to the wood to uh 'collect fire wood'" he said. He looked at Aideen seeing her let out a sigh and turn away from them. They all noticed but didn't say anything.
"The poor kid is only setting himself up to get shut down.. again," Tigra commented.
"Pumyra isn't exactly the friendliest cat," Cheetara observed.
The young girl crossed her arms and turned away from them heading inside. "Or the most truest worthy," Aideen stated. It annoyed her when she saw them together. It anger her that he was with her without checking on her. She was with him before Pumyra had appeared.
Isha looked at her cousin and sigh with a shake of her head. "I feel drama about to begin," she said before crossing her arms, "and not the good kind."
Panthro nodded in agreement, "ain't that right."
Tigra raised an eyebrow, "is there such a thing as 'good drama'?"
Both Panthro and Isha looked at each other before looking at him. "Yes, entertaining drama."
He looked at them with doubt before looking into the woods. He looked in shock and amusement as the two missing cats made their way back. "Don't look now but they're back," he said as he tried to hold back his laugh.
Unfortunate for the puma Isha wasn't so kind. Once she looked at the pumas swollen head she began to laugh to the point were she was holding her stomach. "Lion-O!" Pumyra yelled as she looked at the Lion-O.
"Oh! Oh, my spirits!" Isha let out before she continue to laugh. Pumyra stumped away from them and headed inside. Isha finally controlled her laughter enough to look at the lion. "What the hell happen?"
Lion-O looked away in embarrassment, "Nothing!"
Tigra smirked, "he probably gave her a poisons flower."
"Probably?" Isha said before pointing at the puma, "that is a definitely"
The young king let out a groan, "shut up," he said before stalking after the puma to apologies again. Isha snort before laughing again. Now if only she could get a picture of that. With that Idea she smiled and tried to see if she still had some battery left in her phone.
While the others were getting inside, Aideen was looking at the book of Omes as the red arrow pointed ahead. She wonder if they will be able to get the other stones before Mumm-Ra did or if they were already fighting a losing battle. No, we have the sword of Omens, the book, and the spirit stone, she told herself. She just had to believe that they would come out victories. She had to believe in herself and the others. "I said I was sorry," she heard the familiar voice. With a deep breath she turn towards the two cats she didn't want to see them yet, but she knew she couldn't avoid them either. As soon as her eyes landed on the puma they widen, "Mother of all- What the hell happen to your face?!" she let out.
The puma let out a growl as she yelled a the lion again. Aideen turn towards the others as Isha laughed at her out burst. She shook her head, "you know what I don't even want to know." With that she turn away, took out her book and began to read. She ignored the lion's eyes that didn't seem to leave her.
The next day they rode towards the dog city. Aideen sat next to Panthro. She was thankful that Tygra let her sit upfront instead of down below with the others she still did not want to talk to Pumyra or Lion-O. Her talk with Isha, Tigra, and Cheetara made her think a lot of how her life had change from before. Part of her was thankful for all the friends she got and another part of her fears that they would leave and she would be alone again. She tried to ignore the talk about Lion-O even though everytime she saw him and the puma together her jealousy intensified. She hadn't even been this jealous with Jason and it as irritating her more. "Hey, what's that?" she pointed out at the strange carriage.
"Need a hand?" Panthro asked as he stop the tank next to the broken vehicle.
"And who can I thank for coming to a poor Wallow's rescue," the wallow asked as the cats came out of the tank and stood in front of him. His eyes widen when he saw Pumyra.
"What?" The cat asked.
"Never seen a head that big."
The Puma turn towards the lion king, "Lion-O!"
"Worry not," the Wallow said as he took out a bottle with purple liquid form his coat. "It's nothing a bottle of Ponzi's miracle elixir wont take care of." He handed of the bottle to the lion. "Guaranteed to make all your problems disappeared"
Isha shook her head, "don't we all need something like that."
Tygra looked at her, "hey, if it makes you disappeared I will buy one too." Isha growled at him but before she could say anything Aideen punched him on the arm. "Ow! What was that for?"
"For being an idiot," she replied.
Lion-O looked at Aideen but she just looked away making him sigh. She hadn't gotten close to him since the incident making it hard for him to apologise. "I definitely have a few problems that could use disappearing," the lion replied. He then turn to look at the puma. She turn to look at him then huffed and looked away with crossed arms. "I'll take it"
Isha then moved to him, "hey do have anything that can cure you know headache or reduce pain?"
Aideen glared at her cousin knowing why she was asking. "I'm fine Isha."
The older girl just looked at her with a raised eyebrow before turning to the wallow. "Or anything that makes someone be more brightful?" A cold child ran down her spine as her cousin glared at her back. "I'm just asking for a friend!"
The wallow ignore the girl exclamation and took out another bottle. "Here this can help for headache and pain," he said. He then came closer and whispered in her ear, and might help hour friend brighten some more."
"There," Panthro finish tightening the bolt before standing up, "That should hold."
"Thank you, my feline friend," Ponzi thanked with a bow. He sat on the wagon ready to go, "And now if you'll excuse me, I must be on my way. Somewhere out there is a town filled with poor souls in dire need of rejuvenation." Grabbing the stick with a leaf handing from a thread and dangled it on the giant caterpillar, "Onward, Lucy."
The others looked at him go. "There goes one strange life form," Panthro commented.
Isha shrugged, "I kind of liked him."
Tygra and Aideen looked, "of course you do." They looked at each other before smiling.
Isha just rolled her eyes at the cousins odd connection.
Lion-O open the bottle and turn towards Pumyra. She looked at him and then at the vial, "Don't even think about using that on me."
He gave her a small smile, "It might work." With a huff she turn away once again. Lion-O looked down at the bottle and gave a sniff before pulling away with a gag, "or not"
Aideen turned to Isha after seeing the lions reaction. "Don't you dare give that so me," she warned.
Isha just gave a shrug, "it could help."
"Or maybe not."
"Or maybe it might," she then proceeded to open the bottle and give a snif. She looked at the bottle in surprise. Leaning it towards Aideen she said, "it actually smell nice."
The younger girl gave a sniff, "still no thanks. I don't know what effect that can have on me."
"Well you only live once."
"Yeah and I rather keep that life."
Just then the ground shook around them making them lose their balance. They turn to look at one another. "That can't be good," Tygra said.
"Really? How can the ground shaking be any good at all?" Isha said. They looked back to see some huge rocks being destroy. Red glowing eyes looked down at them as a cloud of dirt hid its form.
"What is that thing?" Cheetara said.
From the cloud came a dinosaur like creature with red and dark skin. The top of his head was made of hard bone that ran down his spine. "I am the last thing you'll see before you're torn to pieces," they heard making their eyes widen.
"Mumm-Ra!"
"Okay, if his form wasn't terrified before it defenetly is now," Isha said as grimes at the tall monster.
The creature let out a roar as the others stood still. Before it turn around and used its tail to shatter near by rocks. Throwing giant chunks of rocks towards them.
"Oh, spirits!" Aideen let out as her eyes widen. Lion-O lifted Pumyra into his arms and ran to the side avoiding the rocks while Cheetara ran using her speed and Tygra used his whip before turning invisible. Aideen didn't know what to do as he powers didn't work she let out a growl in frustration. Her eyes turn slightly red as her hand got ready to used her fire. Before she could do anything Isha got in front of her and used her wind element to slash the rocks before puling Aideen along and moving to the side. Panthro used his nun-chucks before running inside the tank.
The giant creature turned to the side before slamming his tail at the cats and shannen. They all avoided the tail but Aideen just kept getting angrier and angrier as her powers didn't work. Her eyes kept getting red and red almost over covering the brown in her eyes. She looked at him with anger before her eyes landed on the puma and lion. His hand was on her arm as he stayed protectively around the cat. That just added fuel to the fire.
"yes, let the fire burn bright. Use your element on that retched creature. Make him pay for what he has done to you," the voice said.
They watched as Panthro used the tank to shot missals at the creature hitting him from head to tail. The others cover themselves as a wave of dirt cover the ground. As the cloud cleared the creature stood back up with out a single scratch.
They looked in shock at the monsters invisibility. "Those missiles don't even leave a scratch," Tygra said.
"In this form," it began to speak. "I will not tire, I will not break, and I will not stop until you are destroyed."
The thunder tank headed towards him, but Mumm-Ra used his tail to throw it to the side. Before using his tail to throw the puma and cheetah to the ground. Aideen watched as Tygra tried to use his whip on him, getting it wrapped on his claw. The creature pulled the whip along with the tiger and threw him to the side. "Tygra!" she let out as she saw her tiger cousin slam on the ground before rushing towards him.
Isha glanced at her cousin before she focused on the creature as he kept swinging his tail at them. She used her wind but it wasn't strong enough to even cut. She became frustrated and didn't see the tail from behind. She turn around quick enough to avoid it but not enough to avoid the force of it hitting the floor and was pushed to the side.
Aideen looked at her cousin before letting out a growl. She clenched her hands before they were on fire its flames doing nothing more than gracing her hand. She got up and used a whip made of flames to hit the transformed mummy. It turn to her and sow the clear anger in her eyes. "Your powers do nothing to me," he said before using his claw to try and grab her, but she had seen him coming and moved to the side.
"More. You need more power," the voice said as the young girl avoided each hit.
"You soon shall be mine," the mummy declare.
That made her snap, her iris turn red as the black pupal became slit. A crack appeared on her head band and the sides to her necklace became darker but not enough to be noticeable. "I," she practically growl, "belong to no one!" With that she used her whip to hit his face. The once orange-red flames now cover in icy blue. The heat to intense for the creature to handle.
Mumm-Ra let out a roar of pain as he moved back. With each hit the flames intensify and her anger grew. "How dare he claim me!" she thought. She remembered the other species looking at her as if she was an exotic creature that they needed to see. The memory of that slave trader that wanted to sell her and only saw money when he looked at her. The look the buyers had when they were told what she was and how rare she was. It was disgusting. The fact that this old mummy wanted her for his own ambition anger her. She had enough. Enough of being weak. Enough of letting other use her.
Isha could do nothing but watched as her cousin took her anger out on the mummy. The others were looking in amazement, but she knew better. She needed to stop her before she let the darkness consume her or worse hurt herself. With that in mind she forced herself to stand up and ran towards her cousin. Just as the creature turn his tail towards her hoping to hit her. Isha slammed into Aideens side bringing her down and avoiding the flames. "Aideen, snapped out of it!" she said as she looked at her. The creatures attention no longer on her as the Lion-O had drawn it to himself. She looked down at the younger girl before her eyes widen at the red her eyes had taken. Her eyes turn back seconds later before they closed as the girl fainted.
Meanwhile, Lion-O was being held by the creature its claw hand tightening around the cat trying to squeeze the life out of him. He had gotten in between Aideen and the monster as soon as he saw the girl faint. "You have taken your last breath," the creature said as his hold tighten, "Lord of the Thundercats."
The lion tried to get out of the grip but he wasn't strong enough. The miracle elixir fell from his pocket shattering on the ground and forming a purple cloud. As the creatures hold loosen Lion-O fell then ran away towards the other cats who were looking as the creature backed away before falling unconscious.
"How'd you do that?" The cheetah exclaimed.
"It wasn't me," the lion replied, "It was Ponzi's miracle elixir."
"You mean if it wasn't for the crackpot's potion," Panthro question as he got closer to the giant creature. "We'd all be dead?" He knocked on the bone face. The creature let out a low growl.
"Something tells me the effects are only temporary," Cheetara said.
The tiger looked at his girlfriend, "Then we'd better get out paws on more of that elixir before this thing wakes up."
"Tygra!" The tiger turn to her having heard his name before he spotted Isha holding Aideen up as the girl looked ready to fall in any second. He ran towards the girl as his cousin lend to Isha half conscious. He grabbed the girl and lifted her in his arm, making her whine in pain.
"Sorry," The tiger said. "What happen?"
"I don't know," Isha answer.
"Am fine," Aideen mumbled as she curled around Tygra with her hands on her chest. "Just hurt my arm."
"Don't worry well get Cheetara to take a look."
The girl let out a groan in annoyance but didn't move away.
They caught up to Ponzi a few hours later. His carriage was no farther than a few feet. Aideen was currently resting on the lower side of the tank. Her arms was wrapped in new bandages, her wounds having reopen. And she was sure it wasn't going to the last time that day. Isha had been by her side until the young girl had practically growl at her to leave her alone. Guilt had quickly settle in after the older girls had left, but Aideen was annoyed and angery. She could barely control her emotions. It was like a cup just waiting to be spill. Everything was annoying her to no end. Every time she saw the lion and puma it anger her more without out there truly being a reason for it. She made her choose and she was planning on sticking to it. Not to mention her inability to use her powers.
Isha looked at the wagon as it began to speed. Having decided to push aside the thoughts of her cousin for the time being. "Why is he running?" she question. Sure enough the wagon had speed away the moment they came into view.
"I don't know," the cheetah replied. She sat next to Panthro while the others stood behind him, "but we have to get that elixir."
"Panthro, after that wagon" Lion-O order. "I'm gonna try to signal him," The lion moved to a stairway that lead to the top of the thundertank. He shouted for the wallow but he just speed up. A narrow serpent like path stood in front of them.
"Oh, spirits," Isha let out as she looked at the rode. "Please, tell me you can drive through that." She didn't get an answer as they headed towards the rode. Ponzi's wagon began to get closer and closer to the edge tilting slightly off the rode. She hear a shrieked from bellow as the side of the tank moved to side slightly tipping as they maneuver the curves.
"I'm fine!" Aideen yelled from the back. They soon came to a stop after they saw the wagon fall of the cliff.
"Ponzi!" Lion-O called out. As they stood to the on the side of the cliff. The wagon was to its side torn in pieces with many colorful liquid spilled on the ground.
"Stay back," Ponzi yelled in alarm. "It's right there on the warning label. Unwanted hair, facial tics, and explosive gas."
"Did... Did he just say explosive gas?" Aideen question.
Isha put her check on the palm of her hand. "Oh, the possibility's."
Aideen narrowed her eyes with a warning look, "don't even think about it. And don't even think about giving it to me." The girl just smiled innocently at her.
Lion-O looked at the two girls before looking back down at the Wallow. "We're not after you," he assured.
"You... don't want to string me up?" the wallow question.
"No, we need your help," Tygra said.
"We're being hunted down by a giant monster," Isha began to explained, "and that elixir is the only things that seems able to stop it"
"My elixir?" he said skeptical. Before smiling brightly. "Of course! My elixir!" He lifted his hands in the air. "Didn't I tell you it would solve all your problems? Rickets, warts, giant monsters." He then turn to Lucy and whispered, "Remind me to add that to the label." Turning back to the cats and shannen he let out a sigh. "Unfortunately, I have suffer a serious shortfall in my supply."
They looked down at the scatter potions. "That was everything?," Pumyra said.
"Never fear," he assured, "Ponzi's miracle elixir is distilled from the leaf of the rare and beautiful kara kara tree. We shall travel to the hidden spring, where the only cara cara tree in existence flourishes. There, I shall- for a reasonable price- brew up a fresh batch in no time."
"That's good," Lion-O said, "because no time is about all the time we have."
Aideen sat on top of the tank as she looked at the night sky. Her head was throbbing and her arms was hurting not to mention her arms had that burning sensation even though they had already healed. She let out a sigh as she sat up she looked around the camp and spotted the puma. Her eyes stayed on her as the cat looked at her wrist bow. She truly didn't trust her at all, but no matter what she might say she was sure Lion-O wouldn't listen to her. Which irritated her more.
The thought of the young lion made her look to the side at a small tree where he was currently hiding while looking at the puma. She let out a growl.
"You still long for the young king?" the voice question.
"Shut up," she mutter as she turn her head away and instead settle for looking at the bright stars. If there was one thing that she loved about third earth. It was the sky filled with stars and the three moon's that gave it a unique look. "I don't need you telling me what to do."
"Oh, but I'm not telling you what to chose. All I am saying is," the voice paused trying to make the young girl curious for her answer. And sure enough she waited with full attention now on the voice's words. "I'm only saying that if you want something why not just...take it."
"I am not about to set myself up for another failure," she stated.
"Then are you prepare to see them together. Holding hands, kissing in front of you?" the girl let out a growl at having to imagine that. "You want him . . What is wrong with that."
"What is wrong with that?" she question as she looked back at the lion. She growl in frustration, "no. No. No. Don't think like that." she touched her head, "ah, damn it."
Lion-O turn towards the thundertank to see Aideen looking at the sky before turning back to the puma. The girl had stated that there couldn't be anything between them and a part of him agreed with her. "You like her, don't you?" Lion-O turn around to see Ponzi and Lucy behind him.
"No," he began before rethinking, "I mean yes- I mean..." he let out a sigh, "it's useless." He looked up towards Aideen who looked his way. They started at one another before Aideen frowned and turned away. His eyes linger on her as he thought of his feelings for her once more. Part of him wanted to try to see if it could work, but she had made it clear that she wasn't going to consider what could be. He sigh before turning back to the wallow who looked at him then at the girl on top of the tank.
"Let me guess it's complicated?"
Lion-O looked at him and let out a humorless laugh, "Yeah, something like that. Aideen is strong, compassionate, and caring person. But whatever I feel about her cannot happen. Then there's Pumyra. She lives with such passion and strength I never meet anyone like her." He looked at the puma who was to busy looking at the fire to notice him.
Ponzi nodded in understanding, "such a tough choose. Two very strong females indeed, but I am guessing you have decided to start something with the puma?"
"Yeah, Aideen..." he looked up at the girl. "Aideen is everything, but it's not meant to be. She already has a lot to deal with."
Wallow nodded once again. "Then, regarding the puma, why don't you just tell her how you feel?"
"I'm not sure she's the type of girl that's into feelings," he replied.
"Lucy," the wallow said as he looked at his companion, "our affection challenge friend needs our help." He rumble through his coat before grabbing a bottle of pink liquid. "Ponzi's love potion. Guarantee to soften even the hardest heart."
Lion-O looked at the bottle before looking at the puma. It couldn't hurt to try and see if there was something there. He agreed and made his way towards Pumyra's cup full of water. Just as he finished pouring the potion Tygra came walking by and didn't notice the lion.
"Boy, am I thirsty," Tygra said before he grabbed the cup and drank the water along with the potion.
"Stop!" Lion-O shouted, "That's Pumyra's!"
Tygra waved the cup, "Now, it's all gone."
"I'm not even thirsty" Pumyra said. Lion-O took the cup from his hand and shook it upside down to see if there was anymore potion in it but there was nothing. He turn back to look at his brother as the older cats eyes widen.
"You feeling ok, Tygra?" Lion-O question.
"I don't tell you enough," The tiger began before eloping him in a big hug, "but you are the bestes little brother a big brother ever had."
"Oh, what did I just do?" he let out.
"Oh, my gosh!" the tiger exclaimed before moving away from the lion. The other's came to look at the strange scene before them. "He's so cute." He turn around to show them a green warm he was holding gently on his hands. "Isn't he adorable!"
"What is wrong with you?" Panthro question.
"Why, nothing, you silly goose," Tygra replied cheerfully.
Cheetara looked at her boyfriend with a surprise look, "Did you just called Panthro a silly goose?"
The lion face palm as his brother came to his side and rested his arm on his shoulder. "It's hopeless," he said before the tiger gave the worm a kiss.
Aideen robbed her head as it began to throb. She turn as soon as she heard her cousin giggling. An advance phone was on her hand most likely recording everything. "What are you doing?" Aideen question.
"Recording this in order to use it as black mail," Isha replied as she continue to record the over cheerful tiger.
The young girl let out a sigh not even wanting to get involved in this. A headache was already forming. She felt a cold object touch her arm making her turn to her cousin who was holding cup of water. With out thinking about it she drank it right. Instantly, her headache left but she began to feel sleepy. She let out a yawn before going to sit on the log.
The next morning everyone was getting ready to leave. Isha and Cheetara where first making breakfast for everyone, but Aideen had yet to wake up.
"Hey, has anyone seen Aideen?" Tygra question with a flower on his hand. "I thought this flower would cheer her up."
"It's not poison is it?" Isha question and let out a giggle at hearing the lion groan.
Cheetara looked at the tiger, "she's still a sleep." As soon as the cheetah said that the tiger skipped way his sleeping cousin.
Lion-O walked towards Isha as soon as the tiger left. "You're not going to let that go, are you?" he question.
"Nope," she replied. She playfully shoved him, "Come on! It was funny."
"Well I didn't find it funny," the puma stated with a bit of anger in her voice.
Isha turned away from her, "well I did and that's all that matters."
"Are you always this..annoying."
The cats stop what they were doing and looked at the girl and puma as the older girl stopped in her track and turned lowly towards her. "Are you always this manipulative," she challenged back.
"What are you talking about? Are you accusing me of being manipulative?"
Isha let out a huff, "I'm sorry did you not understand what I just said. And don't even give me the 'I don't know what the hell your talking bout' look. Because everyone here knows what you are doing."
"Excuse me?!" Pumyra growled. By now the two where standing face to face with anger n their eyes.
"You heard me."
Before the situation could escalate more Panthro stepped in front of them. "Alright, break it up you two. There's no need to fight."
They both turn to Panthro ready to say something before a shout stop them.
"Isha what did you do!"
They all quickly turn round and saw Aideen- or who they assumed was Aideen- walking towards them. They stood in shock as the young girl- now a female tiger- walked towards them with an angry expression.
"Aideen?" the cats, with exception of Pumyra, yelled.
"Yes, it's me," the cat replied as her tail waved behind her. Her once braided hair was loos, black" white" and orange replaced her brown-red hair. She then turn her head to her cousin. "What did you do?!"
"I..I..I" the girl stutter before quickly explaining. "I gave you the potion thinking it could help your headache and it did stop them. I just didn't think it was going to turn you into a cat!"
"I told you I didn't want it-"
"but your headaches were getting worse-"
"Now look at me!"
"I didn't mean to!"
"Is it even going to wear off?!"
They all turn to Ponzi who was looking at cat still in shock. "Well?" they both sked at same time.
Ponzi robbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, I've never had this problem before. I'm sorry. I don't really know."
Aideen turn to her cousin, "Isha!"
"I'm sorry!"
Aideen let out a growl before stumping away.
Isha let out a sigh before looking at the other she frowned as she saw the look lion had. Moving towards him she snapped her fingers on his face. "Don't get any ideas," she said, "you've clearly already made your choice." She looked at the puma, "even if it is the wrong one."
The lion couldn't say anything having been left speechless by the young tiger.
The young cat looked at the wall in the tank blaming them for her irritation. Her tail kept moving recklessly behind her making her eye twitched. She let out a growl before grabbing her tail. "Stop moving!" but her tail just kept moving. She felt the urged to pull or tighten her grip but that would only hurt her. She got up from her sit and walked to the upper part of the tank. "Are we almost there?"
Her question was answered when they came to a stop. A grey tall tree stood in front of op of its branches cover by grey wood with most of the leaf missing. All but the top of the tree. "There it is," Ponzi said. "The kara kara tree."
They all got out to stand in front of the tree. "It's..so... beautiful," Tygra exclaimed as he held both hands together.
"Oh, brother," the panther let out, "it's like having to babysit another cub."
Isha nodged Panthro, "yeah, but can you imagine the expression he is going to make when I show im the recording I made? I'm telling you blackmailing material."
"Blackmailing?" the panther question.
"Yep, we can just tell him to do whatever we want and we won't show anyone the recording. Blackmailing," she explaines.
"Anything we want, hu" Panthro said with a grin that matched Isha's.
Aideen turned to them before shaking her head, "I have to keep those two apart."
Lion-O looked at his brother before turning towards the wallow. "How many leaves do you need, Ponzi?"
"If that creature is as big as you say," Ponzi replied, "all of them."
"All right, everyone," he turned to the others, "you heard him. Lets get busy."
"What about him?" the puma asked.
They all turn to look at Tygra who was to busy sniffing flowers to notice them talking about him. "Just leave him," the lion answer.
Isha slumped before shaking her head, "let's just hope he doesn't wonder off."
They all got to work taking down the leaves at the crown of the tree. Isha used her element to blow most of the leaf off. Aideen stayed below to make sure that Tygra didn't run off. She would have like to help but her powers weren't working and the one she could use could end up burning the tree is she became frustrated. They manage to finish faster thanks to Isha's element as she was able to get most of them off faster.
Isha bent down on her knees before falling on the ground. Aideen looked down t her with a raised eyebrow. "I'm so drain," she said as she tried to regan her breath.
"You'll be fine."
"There," Lion-O said, "that's all of them."
"Perfect!" Next to Ponzi the machine heated the water, "In a short time you will have gallons of Ponzi's miracle elixir at your disposal." He turn to Lion-O as the lion looked dejected. "I thought you'd be happier about this."
"It's not that," the lion replied as he looked at Pumyra. "I tried flowers, love potions, just about everything. Nothing's working."
"Have you tried being yourself?" Ponzi advised.
Lion-O turn toward him before his eyes widen, "No!"
"You're probably right."
"No, I mean, no!" he pointed toward Lucy who was finishing chowing the remaining leaves.
"Lucy! You bad girl!" He scolded. The bug looked down with sad eyes. "Oh, you selfish, thoughtless bug! We needed those leaves." Lucy wiggled away from them,"Hey, wait! Lucy, come back! I'm sorry." The bug wiggled up the tree away from the others, "Oh, I didn't mean it. Please come down."
They all looked up at Lucy. "She'll be okay," Cheetara comforted.
Just then the ground began to shake announcing the arrival of the giant creature. "I can't say the same about us," Isha grims.
A few feet away from the Tygra was still happily ignoring what was happening around him as he ran after a flying bug with a laugh.
"Oh, boy."
"This might get ugly," Panthro said as he look through his telescope at the creature making its way to them.
Ponzi walked towards the remaining scraps from the destroy wagon. "Perhaps not," he said. Pulling out the stick from the broken wood that held a single leaf.
"One leaf?"
"It may not produce gallons, but it might just make enough to help you subdue the beast."
The lion looked at the leaf in thought before noding. It was worth a shot. "We'll keep him occupied as long as we can," Lion replied.
"Your long overdue end has arrived," Mumm-Ra declared.
Lion-O unshield his sword before letting out the thundercry and charging forward. The other's following close behind. Mumm-Ra slammed his claw down on Cheetara but missed her as she jumped up and used her speed to move away. She then pointed her staff at him as the tip formed into a large branch that wrapped around his mouth. The cheetah held tight as Isha lifted some roots from the ground to wrap themselves around the mummys legs. Both kept a firm hold by he creature was stronger than them s it easily snapped the branches before shooting a beam of purple light towards them.
"This thing can shot things out of his mouth," Isha exclaim.
Lion-O ran towards him before swinging his sword on his feet trying to cut him but his sword just bounced off a force field. With a quick move he dodged Mumm-Ra's attack before lifting his gauntlet up protecting himself from the light of beam shot at him. Aideen used her fire to shot slits of fire towards the mummy the once colorful flames were now replaced by icy cold blue with intense heat. Mumm-Ra moved away knowing how dangerous the lames were. This as something he was going to have to talk to Alchy with. He turned his head towards her and shot beam of light t her feet making her move way before he slammed his tail on the ground wave of hit bushing her way. Panthro came running soon after and ran up his tail trying to get closer to him but was swatted away.
Aideen stood up and watched as Tygra stood in front of Mumm-Ra waving his hands around. "A dammit!" she tried to run towards him.
"Instead of fighting lets talk about out feelings," the tiger said. Mumm-Ra looked at him before he was swatted him away. Making him slam onto Aideen.
Aideen let out a groan as she grabbed her head before looking at her cousin only to see him crawl away from her and follow a small scorpion like creature. She looked at him with a deadpan expression before letting out a sigh. She got back up and looked at the other. Pumyra was currently standing in front of the transformed mummy as she kept shooting even after he began to get closer attacks having no effect on him.
"In addition to invulnerability," the mummy began as he slowly inched towards the puma, "this form gives me something much more powerful." He snapped his jaw towards her "An appetite!"
"Pumyra!" Lion-O shouted before running toward her. He used his sword to generate lighting that pushed Mumm-Ra away enough for Pumyra to run away.
Panthro came back with the thundertank. "Like I say, if you can't beat 'em," he mutter before slamming his foot on the gas-panel making it speed straight to the mummy, "run 'em over." The tank hit the monsters feet making it cry in pain before falling back onto the kara kara tree, shaking it and making Lucy, who was in a brown cocoon slam on the ground.
Aideen got up and was about to run towards the lion, but stop as she saw Pumyra ran towards him before planting a kiss on his cheek. "That was impressive," she said as he smiled at her.
The young tiger's eyes widen as she looked at the scene before her. "His choice has been made," the voice whispered. She snapped out when the ground began to shake again. They all turn towards the monster as he began to make his way towards them again.
"Lion-O," the wallow shouted, "Catch!" He threw the bottle that held a small amount of water. Lion-O caught it before throwing it at the creature. It shatter in its red chest, a cloud of purple mist began to surround him as the others waited to see if it had worked. Unfortunate, nothing happened.
"It didn't work," Cheetara said.
Ponzi let out a sheepish laugh, "Bad batch," he said, "It happens."
The creature roar, "There is no escape!" it exclaimed. They all got ready to fight as he slowly got closer to them before he was swapped away then dropped on the ground. A large creature circled around Mumm-Ra before flying closer to them.
"Lucy!" Ponzi exclaimed.
"That is Lucy?" Panthro exclaimed as he pointed at the giant butterfly.
"She's transmuted!" Ponzi exclaimed with joy. "No wonder she had such appetite." Lucy flew down before landing on the monsters nose and engulfed him with her giant wings.
"What's she doing?" Lion-O question as they all watched the butterfly.
"She's supercharge with miracle elixir," Ponzi exclaimed. A green glow soon appeared between the transformed mummy and Lucy. It's glow intensified before it disappeared. The giant butterfly open her wings showing a crystal were the monster once stood. She flatter her wings making the crystal shatter into tiny pieces. From the remaining crystals a purple mist rose before a two tail crow flew out.
"I shall return, Thundercats!" It shouted, "Do not forget what I have said Aideen! I am all ways right!"
The young girl let out a growl as she remembered his words clearly from two night ago. Her fist clenched as her eyes flashed red.
"Lucy took that beast down," Ponzi exclaimed. Pride and joy clear in his voice.
The others looked at the young tiger wondering what the mummy had meant but she didn't even look their way.
Later that afternoon just as it was dawning the thundercats and shannen stood before the wallow. The potion still wasn't wearing off, but at this point Aideen just let it be hoping hat it wasn't permanently. "Sure you don't want to come with use?" Lion-O asked?
"Thank you, but Lucy and I have a business to rebuild," the wallow replied.
"Good luck, Ponzi."
"And good luck to you, my feline friend," Ponzi replied. Before winking at him, "With everything." Lion-O and Pumyra looked at one another with a raised eyebrow. He then turned to Aideen "don't worry, my dear, I'm sure the effect will wear off soon."
"Let's hope it does," Aideen replied, "Safe travels."
Ponzi noded before looking at Lucy. Lucy flew a e feet of ground and grabbed each side of wagon before lifting it up."Fly like the wind, Lucy!"
They watched him fly away before turning to look at the tiger who walked back to me while rubbing his head. "How do you feel?" the lion question.
"Like you look," Tygra growl.
"Everything's back to normal."
"Well, hopefully tomorrow it is," Isha commented as looked at her cousin. Who just narrowed her eyes at her.
"It better be or else I m murdering you," was her only replied.
"I aid I was sorry!"
Tygra looked at his cousin in surprise, "Aideen?" The cat let out a sigh before nodding. "What happen to you?"
She growled at the girl next to her, "ask Isha."
Later that evening when they were all setting camp. Aideen was leaning by tree her arms crossed and eyes narrow as looked at the cats and her cousin setting everything.
"Are you thinking about the lion or the sac of bones?" the voice question.
Aideen let out a sigh, "both," she replied. "How to get rid of Mumm-Ra and forget about Lion-O."
"Do you want to forget?"
She kept quiet for few second pondering the question. She didn't want to forget. The voice had been right what was wrong for wanting him. Her thoughts then moved to the brown hair boy who had liked. They were different in more han one way. He had betrayed her with her once best friend. But Lion-O as different and far more important that Jason was. "No," was her replied. "But I'm not selfish enough to not let him be happy."
The voice seemed to humm before speaking again. "And what if you are what he needs?" Aideen didn't answer back. "As or the sac of bones all you need is my help. That is..if you want it."
She looked down to see the shadows smile and its glowing red eyes. She should say for it to leave her alone. But she didn't she new she couldn't. Her powers were almost gone and she would need a to defeat her aunt, Juliet and help the thundercats defeat Mumm-Ra.
"You've always been kind, but tell me where has that lead you?" the voice question. "Your mother dead at hands of your aunt. Isha has already a ticket to the spirit world once your aunt get a hold on her. Your father dead because of her. Your brother is gone. Your powers aren't working anymore. So tell me what are you going to do?"
"I won't let her get Isha or Tygra," Aideen declared. She wasn't going to lose the friends she had gain again because of her aunt. She would stop her no matter what it took.
The sound of twigs made her turn. She let out a growl as she saw he puma making her way towards her. Pumyra stopped in front of her a cup of water in her hand. "Look, I came here to apologies for being rude back at mountain Plun-darr. I know you don't trust me, but I am just trying to do what's right or my people."
"By manipulating Lion-O to do what you want?" the tiger accused with narrow eyes.
"Lion-O is big enough to make his own decision," Pumyra snapped before letting out a sigh. "Look, you don't like me and I don't like you either but we can't be fighting one another if we are to defeat Mumm-Ra." She lifted the cup she was holding to her, "so, I say we call it a truce for now."
The young cat looked at the cup then at the cat. Her eyes then moved to the was talking with Isha. With a sigh Aideen grab the cup and drank all the containing water.
"We better head back the others are wondering why you haven't join them."
Aideen nodded before following her.
A/N: Alright, first, again sorry for the late update. Now, I have gone through my notes and have re-read the story to make sure I know what I am going to be doing with this story. I have gone read and listen to certain theories as well as what the directer had planned for the second season. While some of it I didn't exactly like I will be taking some of the things he wanted to do and doing them in the second half of this story. I will also be looking at the original series to get some ideas of what to do.
Next, I have about 32 chapters plan out already for the seconds season. From the looks of it it might grow a bit more I don't want to go above 40 chapters, but at this rate I am sure I will go above that... maybe... I'm going to try not to. For this season there will be about 5 or 6 more chapters before we begin the second season. I will be making a page for a short summery for what is to happen in the seconds season. There is also going to be a time skip of 6 to 8 months between the series, but we will be getting flash backs from that time as the story progresses.
And last, I will be going back to revise some of the previews chapters after I finish this season.
Anyways, I will be updating new information as the chapters come along. Thank you all for you patience and dedication to this story!
Please don't forget to review/favorite/and follow.
English is not my first langue. Sorry for any mistakes.
