Sonic and co. were attending Acorn High School in the Murray Village neighborhood, south of Downtown. The bell rang, and their teacher entered.
"Good morning, students! My name is Elise, and I'll be your teacher for Mobian History!"
"THAT'S IT!" Knuckles hopped out of his seat and started heading for the door. "I'm outta here!"
"Young man, where are you going!?" said Elise.
"Hold up, Teach!" said Sonic. "Lemme handle this one!"
Sonic followed Knuckles out of the classroom.
"Knux, class is about to begin! Why ya ditchin' us already?"
"Because, there is NO WAY in this city or Angel Island that I'm gonna be taught Mobian History by a human!" said Knuckles.
Sonic turned to face the audience. "I don't talk about racism much, but I will say this: there ain't no quick fix for it! However, there are several things you can do to help end it! Spread the word around, get involved in community groups, read books on the subject, stuff like that! Because no matter your color or species, if we step up and treat each other accordin' to the Golden Rule, then this world will be a lot better off!"
