Chapter 2

When me and peter went to back to our team. So, they can show me what to do by showing me the ropes around here on the Benatar. I was not sure on what to do as guardian since it's still new to me. that's good that I got to learn something new and little bit when I used to work for the avengers.

"Brittney you can't use your powers on the ship you can use it when we are out fighting threats to protected the galaxy." Peter told me.

"ok I will try not to use my powers on the ship. I'm not going to get kidnapped like I did when I got kidnapped 5 years ago?" I asked peter feeling a bit worried.

What if I get kidnapped again will peter and the rest of my team keep me safe? I was about to get my answer.

"don't worry you're not going to get kidnapped we're all going to protected you for real this time. I promised your friend Devin that we will keep you safe." Peter assured me.

"quill's right Brittney we all took care of Thanos with the avenger you used to train with." Drax added.

Wow that sounds good they were going to keep me safe and always be there for me just like the avengers did for me. boy I have a lot to learn from them since I am going to live with them now.

"you're right there is nothing to worry about I'm sorry I worried you guys." I apologized to them.

I hope I didn't get them all worried about me.

"it's fine Brittney." Peter told me.

For an hour my team showed me around the Benatar giving me a tour so that I knew where everything is, so I don't get lost. I even though me, clint, and Natasha used the Benatar to go to Vormir to get the soul stone.

They even showed me how to call my friends on the breach of the Benatar in case I wanted to call them to see how they were doing. It felt wonderful for me to be in touched with my friends even though I am not with them in person on earth, but it feels good to see their faces.

Me and my team were having dinner I knew I had to eat alien's food to just like I got kidnapped by Thanos. I had alien's food sitting in front of me with a drink next to it. I have never had food like that since ebony maw gave me before he interrogated on me about the locations of the infinity stones that's good, I didn't have the power of the map of the of the of the stones anymore. I was also glad I still had my gravity power that will use to fight against any threats to help save the galaxy. Kind of like what peter told me earlier.

Then I snapped myself back into realty do I really have to eat what my team have on the Benatar? Maybe I should ask peter about it after all he is my leader now. I am getting used to having peter as my new leader.

"peter? Can I ask you something?"

Peter turned to me, "of course Brittney." He said.

"I know I have to eat the food here but I have to know that will the food help me to survive?"

Peter nodded his head, "yes that's right it will help you to live just like I did when I had to survive out here."

"ok peter I'm making sure." I smiled.

Ok if peter says it will help me then here goes nothing. I took my first bite of the food it was incredibly good. Then I took a sip of the drink it was Kree tea it was good kind of like the tea I drink back at earth.

after eating my dinner, I stand up and picked up my dishes and put it on the dishwasher. I could get used to eating the food here on the Benatar I was beginning to enjoy being with my guardian's family and having a new home on the Benatar. I am going to love it here for the first time in 5 years of my life I was getting very happy.

my team had finished their food some of them went over to their bunks to gets some rest except for peter he came over towards me.

"Brittney how do you like being a guardian?" peter asked me.

"It feels good. It's so much different when I used to work for the avengers. I am beginning to love being a guardian and having you guys as my new family. I'm also getting you as my new leader" I told him.

"that's good to hear that you are getting used to your new life here."

"so, what are we going to do tomorrow peter?"

"we are going to try find 2014 gamora and try to save the galaxy too." He said.

"ok looks like I'm going to have to befriend her again." I said a bit worried.

"pretty much I believe you can do it." He told me.

"I will do my best." I said.

Peter smiled at me feeling glad at what I was going to do I hope I can befriend her again. if I befriended her once Just like I did when I met her 5 years ago I could do it again. I begin to start wondering what peter going to do when we find gamora? I decide to ask him.

"peter what are going to do when you see her again?"

"I have to try make her fall in love with me." He said.

He is going to make her fall in love with him. Omg it must be extremely hard to do.

"peter she doesn't remember us; she doesn't know are names; it's like she has never had experience us together." I said.

"I know Brittney, but she is a different gamora way before she was a guardian and when thanos kidnapped you." He told me.

"you're right I hope you make her fall in love with you." I said.

Peter nodded, "I think I will too Brittney. We should get some rest."

"of course."

Me and peter both went in hall like peter showed me earlier and I stopped by the door to my bunk. After telling peter goodnight I opened and closed the door behind me. I took off my necklace that rocket gave me I put it on the desk.

I went over to dresser for something for me to sleep in for the night.

When opened the door I saw some new clothes pepper must of got some clothes for me they were t- shirts pants there was no pj I think will wear one of t-shirts until I go shopping with my team.

changed out of my guardians' uniform and boots and I put on my nightmare before Christmas shirt and went to bed to get some rest I couldn't wait another day to be a guardian to do something good something bad and a bit of both like what peter told me this is going be wonderful for the rest of my life.
