RWBY - The Adorkable Knight

Welcome back to another chapter, I do hope that you liked the last chapter, which was just basically Jaune and the others in detention. While it may have been a rather boring chapter, at least it got something more rolling between Jaune and Professor Goodwitch.

Also, I would like to say that we are now caught up to where the original story ended, and I am feeling much more comfortable with this story, despite the fact that it seems like that very little has changed between versions.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have made a A03 account, under the pen name; UnknownEnforcer. I have also made a Twitter account, just look up on Twitter; Festive_Enforcer, or the handle; FestivePhantom.

I'm just sayin, there might be a surprise on my A03 account.

After Chapter Note - Woohoo! I have just realised that this is the first fanfiction that I have that has broken past the 100k word barrier! I got to say, that is a massive achievement for me!

Now, apparently I still need to place this in every chapter, considering that I am getting PM's regarding the Harem and if anyone else is being added.

Harem for this story! This will NOT be changed!

Jaune x Saphron - Arcest

Neo Infinity: Thank you for leaving your opinions known in the reviews, and so frequently as well. Sorry for the long waits for updates on Wandering Trainer.

Talilover: Despite skimming the chapter, I'm still glad that you found the chapter to be decent.

Chapter 12 - Coming Clean

It had been a week since Jaune's detention with Professor Goodwitch, and thus, the weeks worth of detention that every member of team JNPR and team RWBY had finally ended, and they couldn't be any more happier.

Why wouldn't they? They now finally had some free time to enjoy, rather than having to go straight to detention after the days where they had classes. It was just a nice change to get them away from the stuffy classrooms and into the fresh air outside, and enjoy the nature once again.

However, for Jaune, the conversation that he shared with Professor Goodwitch just before she let him out of detention for the first time were still ringing within his head. He knew that he had to tell them about the way he actually got into Beacon, along with the fact that he was going to be a father in just seven months time.

He was just glad that Pyrrha already knew about his fake transcripts, and the fact that she knew that he was becoming a father. The transcript problem came out one night nearing the end of the first term at Beacon, where they were training on the rooftop one night. However, knowing that Jaune was becoming a father was something that couldn't be avoided, mainly due to him feeling like he just needed to get it off his chest.

Boy, was that conversation something else.

FLASHBACK

The sun was beginning to set beyond the horizon, bathing the city of Argus in a multitude of colors, with the stars starting to gleam and shimmer in the nightsky, yet there was also a few patches of orange and dark blue still about in the sky as the sun was not yet set. It just gave the entire place a mystical feel, and it was something that could make one stop and just appreciate the beauty of it.

Although, the slight chilly breeze that was now coming was something that most didn't enjoy, but at the same time, they were also glad for, considering that the breeze in Argus was sometimes very humid and was just uncomfortable to begin with.

However, for Jaune and Pyrrha, the setting sun in the distance was like an alarm clock, telling them that it was time to finish thier training session in the park for the day and head home to recover and spend time with their famalies

"Pyrrha." Jaune suddenly spoke out, breaking the silence that had formed between the two as they both sat upon the cool park bench, giving them some relief as it gave them something to relax on and cool thier body down.

"Hmm?" She hummed out, taking the now empty water bottle away from her mouth and setting down on the bench space next to her.

"Can I tell you something?" He asked, struggling to decide on whether or not to look at Pyrrha, or the ground below which was covered in a small layer of snow.

Seeing Jaune's discomfort and hearing the nervousness in his voice, she gently grasped on his shoulder, giving him some much needed support by doing that, "What is it?" She questioned, concern shining in her bright green eyes as she gazed at her crush.

"Well..." Jaune began, before sighing audibly and leaning back into the bench chair, allowing himself to gaze upon the sky, "There is something I need to tell you... regarding Saphron and Terra." He finally finished, not taking his gaze away from the twinkling stars in the sky.

"Oh, no! Did something happen to them?" She quickly questioned, concern clear in her voice. Automatically thinking that something bad had happened to them thanks to Jaune's demeanor and tone of voice.

Blinking a few times, it finally registered in his mind at what might've ran through Pyrrha's head, "No, no. Nothing is wrong with them." He reassured her, seeing her sigh in relief was something comforting at least, "It's just that... well, you know, they are married to each other." He awkwardly explained to her.

"Yeah? You told me that before." Pyrrha stated, sounding awfully confused as she tilted her head a little to the right, her green eyes shining in confusion.

Sighing lightly to himself, Jaune decided that it was time to bite the bullet and be blunt with it, "They want to have a child, they chose me to be the father." He finally said, looking at Pyrrha to see her reaction.

It took a few moments to actually comprehend what Jaune just told her, and when everything finally connected, she couldn't help but blurt out, "Wha?" Shaking her head and trying to think of the right words to use, she finally responded intelligibly, "Isn't that... you know..." However, trying to say the right words had failed her for the moment.

"No, it's not wrong. It's Terra who is wanting the child... meaning that its OK in that regard..." He explained, telling her that it wasn't incest due to him doing it with Terra. Despite how odd it still sounded for him.

"Oh..." She muttered out, taking a deep breath to try and get her mind out of that particular gutter she found herself in, "I'm guessing that... it... you know?" She tried to say, although it was more awkward than anything else.

Nodding his head, confirming Pyrrha's unspoken question, "Yes... it has happened. Terra showed me the pregnancy test results, she is at least two weeks pregnant." He told her, although he had a nervous smile on his face.

Nervous because of the fact that he was going to become a father, but also excited for the exact same reason.

"Congratulations." Pyrrha spoke out, giving a few pats on Jaune's back, "May I come over and give my congratulations to Saphron and Terra? I'll message mother to let her know." She added on, knowing that if she didn't message her mother, then she will become a worry-wart. Although, there was a few more reasons why Pyrrha wanted to go, and that was to meet her potential in-laws in the future, and maybe so she could get some... spicy stories about Jaune from them.

That could never hurt anybody.

Blinking a few times in surprise at the fact that Pyrrha wasn't... well, disgusted by what he just admitted, he couldn't help but flash a small smile at her, "Sure, if you want to. I don't see why it would be a problem."

FLASHBACK END

Shaking his head from that particular memory, Jaune found himself sitting on the couch in the dorm room, and he had just previously sent a group message to the rest of his team.

It was time to tell them about his fake transcripts, and he was going to tell them about what had happened during the holidays, as he really didn't want to keep it a secret. It all depended on what he was going to tell them first... although, it would probably be about him becoming a father in around seven months time.

Leaning back into the couch, Jaune was able to hear some muffled footfalls outside of the dorm room, and he also heard the distinct voice of Nora, happily chatting either Ren's or Pyrrha's ears off.

Taking a deep breath, Jaune straightened himself up as he saw the dorm room open, and the rest of his team entered the dorm room, each of them looking midly concerned about being messaged to come back to the dorm room. Only Pyrrha was the only one who didn't look concerned, but instead, she was trying her best to convey her support to Jaune without saying anything.

"Hey." Jaune greeted out to them, trying his best to calm his nerves, gesturing to the second couch just in front of him, "Please, take a seat."

Nodding his head, Ren took a seat across from Jaune, the concerned expression still on his face. Nora quickly followed, plopping herself down next to Ren. Pyrrha on the other hand, didn't sit by Ren or Nora, instead, she opted to sit next to Jaune and place a comforting hand on his own.

"Is... something the matter?" Ren asked, looking between his team leader, and the only other male in the friend group.

"Something wrong, Fearless leader?" Nora chirped out, bouncing on the cushion of the couch, causing it to shift a few times by her displacing weight.

"Well, there is a few things that I need to talk about, to get off my chest and stop hiding it." He uttered, looking down to his hands for a second, before clenching his free hand, "One of the things that I wanted to let you know... is that I am becoming a father in around eight months time." He finally managed to get out, after unleashing an suspensful pause in his speech.

It took a few moments for what Jaune said to sink into the brains of both Ren and Nora, and once that happened, they both had different reactions.

Nora, in all of her massive bundle of untameable energy, launched herself at Jaune, hugging him with all of her might. Which to be honest, caused a few creaks to be heard in Jaune's bones, even with his aura mitigating the potential damage caused.

"Fearless leader!" She chirped out, continuing to hug Jaune with all of her might, to the side of things, Pyrrha was looking on with mild amusement, although there was some concern as she heard the creaks of Jaune's bones, "Who is the lucky girl?" She uttered, taking a glance towards Pyrrha, however, seeing her shake her head in the negative, she brought Jaune out of the hug and was looking at Jaune.

Ren on the other hand, got up and gently pulled Nora away, "Forgive her, she always had a soft spot for babies." Ren apologised, remembering how many times during thier travels together when they were growing up when Nora got distracted by a baby, or small toddler.

"It's fine." Jaune muttered, using one hand to rub his chest. He kinda regretted not wearing his armor, however, he didn't expect Nora to give him a massive, bone-creaking bear hug, "Well, the thing is, my step-sister, Saphron is married to another girl, and they wanted to have a baby together." He explained, before continuing, "Instead of choosing a completely random person to donate their sperm, they decided on having me be the father." He further explained to them.

"Why is that?" Nora spoke out, still looking rather giddy but somewhat confused at the part, ignoring the fact that Ren just elbowed her lightly in the side for asking that sort of question.

"Well, mainly because that Terra and my step-sister trust me the most, and they know me better than most others in Argus." He explained one reason, although he lightly frowned at the next part, "The next reason... well, my parents were... skeptical when the relationship first started between Saphron and Terra, and when I asked for why they chose me, Saphron told me that if I were to be the father of the child, then Terra's child will still hold some Arc DNA." He explained, although he still didn't like that reasoning.

He knew that his parents didn't really care about the bloodline or the father of the baby, it was his grandparents that were more... vocal when it came to those things. While they weren't supremecists, they still wanted to Arc bloodline to be as 'pure' as possible.

While that didn't mean that they practiced incest or resorted to it in the past, it was an ideology that if a woman of the Arc family was to be in a relationship or marry to the same sex, then having a male inseminate their partner to produce a child that held the Arc bloodline would be best.

Call it old fashioned or even disgusting or plain stupid to most, but that was just how they were brought up by their parents, and their parents before them, and it had been ingrained into them for that to happen.

"Oh." Nora eloquently spoke out, before she had a megawatt smile on her face once again, "Still, congratulations, Fearless leader~" She chirped out once again, her previous demeanor gone and her exciteable one was back again.

Blinking a few times, Ren nodded his head at that, "I see, congratulations then." He simply spoke out. From the way that Jaune acted, he had a feeling that the last reason had to do with family 'tradition' or upbringing, so he didn't want to divulge into that too much.

"Thanks." Jaune spoke out, before once again a frown marred his face as he took a deep breath, "Now, the second reason why I wanted you here."

Seeing as how both Nora and Ren were once again paying full attention to him, he felt Pyrrha give a reassuring squeeze of his hand, taking a glance over at her, he gave a quick smile, mentally thanking her, "It concerns how I got into Beacon." He finally said, taking note of the expressions on Nora and Ren.

However, he saw that both Ren and Nora were looking somewhat confused, before a light-bulb moment seemed to happen to Ren, "They were fake, I'm presuming?" He asked.

Looking a little surprised, Jaune nodded his head at that, "Yes... they were." He admitted, however, seeing that he didn't get the expected reaction from them, he asked, "How did you know?"

"Jaune, I had an inkling that something wasn't right within the first few spars that you had in Combat Class." Ren admitted. It was true, ever since he saw Jaune struggle to keep up with many of the 'weaker' students in class, and even with his sloppy stance and how much he left himself open during his attacks, it had set some alarm bells off within his mind.

"Mhm!" Nora hummed out, nodding her head, "I knew as well, with both how much you struggled with warm-up's and spars, however, I didn't say anything because once we noticed your mind for tactics, we trusted you, plus your entire selfless personality, we had our full trust in you." She added on, skipping over towards Jaune and plopping herself down next to him, before she placed her head against his arm, "Plus, you are our friend, and dare we say it, we are a family." She added on, smiling up towards Jaune.

Smiling lightly, Jaune couldn't help but to ruffle her hair, messing it up slightly - much to Nora's annoyance - he then turned his attention towards Ren, "So... you aren't mad at me, for not only lying, but keeping this from you?" He couldn't help but question him.

"At first, I was a little angry and upset, and so was Nora." Ren admitted with a small nod of his head, remembering how everything seemed to make sense to him, "However, I then took some time to think about it, and looked through previous results. Your leadership results blew everyone else's results out of the water, and it was then I was becoming more neutral towards it. Seeing you place so much effort into trying to improve, and even asking others for help made me realise that despite all of this, you genuinely wanted to be here, and to improve." He finished off, flashing a small smile towards his direction.

"Wow." Jaune muttered out, leaning back in the lounge slightly. His mind overwhelmed with how Ren and Nora knew about this, and yet, they didn't do anything, and instead, they placed their trust into him, and still continued to do so, "Thank you, for not only dealing with me, but also giving me a chance."

"I mean, if we were to be upset and do anything negative with this, then that would be rather hypocritical, both myself and Nora didn't go to any prep-schools, instead, we were self-taught and learnt from trial and error during our time on the road." Ren admitted, with Nora nodding her head at that part.

Sighing to himself, Jaune was glad that this went over so well. To him, finally coming clean with this, it felt like a weight had been taken off his shoulders, "Thank you." He uttered once more, trying to show his gratitide for them, "Now... I just got to break this to Ruby and her team." He added on, frowning a little, as he wasn't sure how that was going to go down.

"I would recommend breaking it to them slowly." Pyrrha said, speaking out for the first time.

Turning his attention towards Pyrrha, he flashed her a small smile, although it was a rather nervous smile, "I guess I will." He spoke out, "I'm just afraid of what the reactions would be with them."

"Maybe they will be angry, maybe they won't be. However, we will never know unless we break it to them." Ren spoke up, putting in his little thought with that entire process.

Nodding his head at that, Jaune looked down and saw that Nora had somehow managed to fall asleep against him during the short amount of time his attention was away from her.

Taking a quick glance towards the wall clock, he saw that it was nearing five in the evening, "Maybe I'll stay here for a while, break to them in a few hours. Maybe they could think over it during thier sleep if worst comes to worse."

Now standing in front of team RWBY's dorm, Jaune shuffled on his feet, knowing that what he was about to reveal to them would either break the bonds they had with each other, or somehow place him on the 'lookout' list of people who they should be wary of.

Knowing that Ren and Nora knew about his transcripts and while they both were rather upset about it, he was glad that they overlooked it and gave him a second chance. It helped him know that if things were to go pear-shaped with Ruby, Yang, Weiss and Blake, at least he would have some people that were still friends with him and that he wouldn't be completely alone.

He didn't know what he would do if he was completely alone in Beacon, and something told him that he didn't even want to think about it.

Shaking his head from those thoughts, he shakily brought his hand up towards the door.

KNOCK

KNOCK

KNOCK

Knocking on the door three times - a little signal that both teams had to let them know that it was them at the door - he didn't have to wait to long, as the door to the dorm room opened, and he was a little surprised to see that instead of Ruby opening the door, it was actually Blake answering instead.

"Yes?" She questioned, her amber eyes boring into his own and her feline ears twitching atop of her head slightly in curiosity.

"Oh, hello, Blake." Jaune greeted, not prepared for Blake of all people to be answering the door, he would've thought it would be either Ruby or Yang doing so, "Is the rest of your team in there?" He questioned, not daring to peak through the gap that was above her.

"No, they messaged me and told me they were on their way though. Ruby and Yang were handing something in last minute, and Weiss was coming back from a meeting with one of the Professor's." She answered, "Why?" She questioned, wondering why Jaune wanted to know that.

Rubbing the back of his head, he gave a nervous grin, "Well... I kinda wanted to tell them something... in private." He answered her, awkwardly rolling on the balls of his feet as he did so.

Continuing to stare at Jaune, her eyes flicked once more atop of her head before she gave a small sigh, before she opened the door up further and moved back, allowing more room, "Well, if it's important, you can come in... just don't touch Weiss' bed, you'll know when you see it."

Nodding his head in thanks, Jaune made his way into team RWBY's dorm, the knowledge that this was the first time that he has been inside team RWBY's dorm, and to be added on, this was the first time that Jaune has ever been in all girl's room - even his family didn't allow them inside their rooms alone - wasn't even registering within his head.

As he looked around, he was relatively surprised to see how it was, 'Yep... those are bunk beds... they don't look... stable.' He thought to himself, he remembered at the end of the last term that he thought he saw a glimpse of a bunk bed, and that little question was answered.

"Excuse the mess, Yang and Ruby are quiet messy." Blake spoke out, eventually making her way over to what he presumed was her bed that was covered in rather normal looking black quilt with a slight lavender tinge to them, 'Must've changed them.' He thought to himself, maybe she didn't like the red and white quilts that Beacon provided.

"Oh, it's fine. Our room is a little messy as well." Jaune waved her off, before bringing his attention towards the makeshift bunk beds that team RWBY had.

Seriously, he wondered how on Monty's sweet Remnant that one of the beds was being held up by a few pieces of rope, and seemed to be dangling over Weiss' bed rather precariously. Shifting his gaze over towards Blake's side, he noticed that the other bed was being supported and held up by a small stack of thick books. At least that looked to be much more stable and a little less dangerous than the rope holding up the other one.

'So, Ruby's one is the one being supported by the rope, considering that it has a little 'fort' on it, Weiss' one is below hers, as it looks to have a fine silken quilt that is pale blue with white trimmings. Blake's one is obvious as she is sitting on it, and Yang's is the one above it, as there is a boy band poster just behind it, and I can see a hairbrush peaking underneath the pillow.' He thought to himself, taking note of who slept where, and if he were to be honest, he was surprised to know that Weiss was okay with sleeping underneath a potential deathtrap that was Ruby's bed.

"So, what is it that you wanted to tell us?" Blake inquired, looking up from the book that she was currently reading.

"Oh, well... it's a few things actually... one thing that might surprise everyone... and one that might potentially ruin our bonds." Jaune explained lightly, trying to be as vague as possible to the bookworm feline Faunus.

Raising a delicate brow at Jaune, and at trying to figure out what exactly he meant by 'one that might ruin our bonds.' However, it took a few moments before her eyes widened ever so slightly, "You mean, your transcripts?" Blake questioned. Seeing as how he seemed to flinch at her little question, she was certain that she got it right on the lien.

"You knew?" He questioned faintly.

Tittering lightly, she turned over a page in her book, "Of course. It was rather easy to figure out, first was during initiation and how unprepared you were, what really gave it away was during these sparring sessions. Your stance was off, your attacks were predictable and you were sloppy and left yourself open to a counter-attack to easily." She explained.

"Does... uh, anyone else know?" He questioned the resident feline Faunus.

"Not that I am aware of." Blake simply replied, licking the tip of her finger and once again turning another page, "However, that doesn't mean that they probably have their suspicions." She added on.

Nodding his head at that, Jaune looked around the dorm room, trying to find anything of note or something to take his attention away to pass time. For a girls dorm room, it really wasn't what he was expecting. Not to be stereotypical, but he thought there would be a few things that would differentiate the dorms from the others. Apart from the multiple tables that had some mirrors on them, along with various brands of makeup and other sorts of those trinkets.

Seeing nothing of note, apart from the very large bedside table that was probably more than a few feet long that was stuffed with books, Jaune took a seat on the lounge, trying his best to make it seem like he was being respectful and not acting like he owned the place.

That was one lesson that he learnt. When in someone else's home or room, don't act like you own the place, you are a guest of them.

As a few moments passed, with the only real noise being the subtle changes of the pages in Blake's novel, Jaune decided to ask Blake a question, "So... are all of those books yours?"

Despite the awkward question, and one that should be rather obvious, she decided to humor him, "Most of them, a select few belong to Ruby." She said, before gesturing to one of the larger books in the bookcase, "That one though, that belongs to Weiss."

Nodding his head at that, Jaune decided to ask another question, lest they fall into another awkward - for him - silence, "What is the book about, the one that you're reading?"

Looking up from her book, Blake's ears twitched a little, and unknown to him, a small smile graced her face - that was hidden by the book itself - she shuffled a little further down the bed, allowing Jaune to see the title, which read, 'Grimm's Fairy Tales, "It's a large series that goes into detail of each and every fairy tale." She answered him, before turning the book around, "The best way to describe this book is that its dark, and like the title suggests, places twists and turns on many fairy tales that you have heard of, and even some you haven't heard of." She added on, "Each and every fairy tale is a few chapters long, however, once you immerse yourself, it feels much longer."

Humming in thought, that sounded like a good read, however, scary or creepy books weren't exactly his thing, however, he might give it a try in the future, "Who wrote it?" He asked, not seeing any author name on the covers.

"The book is made by two brothers from Vacuo, and they simply go by 'Brothers Grimm', which, I guess for the time period they were in, was acceptable as they didn't want to have thier names known." She said, before she added on, "However, they also have other books, they just aren't well known or as popular as their Grimdark stuff." She added on, a small frown marring her face at that.

To her, it was a shame that the other books didn't get the recognition they deserved, in her opinion, they were absolute masterclasses. Who would've thought that twisting and spinning fairy tales into a more dark and violent, and possibly truthful way could have been so engaging.

Simply hearing the name of the authors managed to send shivers down Jaune's spine, seriously, that was one seriously creepy alias they went under. That was probably one of the main reasons why they were so niche.

As he was about to speak once again, he was suddenly interrupted when he heard multiple pairs of footfalls just outside the dorm room, along with hearing the voices of the remaning members of team RWBY.

"Jaune? What are you doing here?" He heard Ruby's voice ask out, a cute amount of curiosity clear in her voice.

Turning around, he saw that Ruby was looking at him with a small look of surprise etched onto her face. Quickly switching his attention to the other members, he saw that Yang was looking rather interested in why he was there, and Weiss was giving him a stink-eye, until she saw that her bed and her stuff was unmoved, only then did her gaze soften ever so slightly.

"Yo, Loverboy." Yang greeted with his new nickname, something that he couldn't help roll his eyes at.

"Jaune." Weiss greeted out courteously.

"Hey, everyone." Jaune greeted out with a small wave of his own, before he brought his attention to Ruby, "To answer your question, Ruby, I need to get something off of my chest."

Blinking cutely a few times, Ruby glanced around and saw that Yang was interested with what he needed to say, Weiss wasn't looking all of that interested, and Blake seemed to have already known, "OK?" She questioned out, before nudging Yang in the side, "Come on." She simply said, before dragging Yang over towards the lounge that Jaune was at.

Weiss on the other hand went over towards one of the desks with the mirrors and prepared to take off some of her makeup that she had on, although she did make sure to look at the group through the mirror.

"So, what did you need to tell us, it must be something important if it couldn't wait till tomorrow?" Yang pointed out, before she leaned back into the couch and kicked her sock clad feet onto the table.

"You're right." Jaune said, before taking a deep breath, "I just wanted to say sorry for hiding something like this for so long. I'm sorry if this hurts you." Jaune spoke out to them, before letting it out, "My transcripts... they are fake... I lied to get into Beacon."

There was a brief moment of pause where the girls - barring Blake - were simply registering that within thier brains, and making sure that they heard that correctly, and they had varying reactions to it.

"What!?" Yang yelled out, her voice rising a few octaves. Jaune risked a glance her way and he flinched when he saw that her lilac eyes were now a deep, crimson red color as they seemed to bore directly into his own soul.

"Oh..." Ruby oh so eloquently spoke out, her expression was one of confusion as her mouth was hanging open slightly.

However, the worst reaction by far was Weiss'.

"Excuse me!?" Her shrill voice seemed to deafen the entire room, and somehow drag everyone's attention towards her, even as Jaune gulped lightly and turned to face the resident Ice-Queen.

As he turned around, he flinched as he saw her eyes seemed to harden and glow with anger, turning her normally light blue eyes become as cold as ice. He idly saw that she placed down her makeup remover down onto the table. He could tell that she wasn't done as above her right eye, some of her eyeshadow still remained in place.

Placing his hands up to try and placate her ire, he quickly yelped out, "I lied to get into Beacon!"

As Weiss stomped towards Jaune, it was thanks to the quick thinking of Blake that gently held onto her shoulders to prevent her from doing anything rash - as Ruby was still trying to comprehend what she was just told, and Yang was trying to calm herself down - now that she was held back, Weiss shot a frosty glare towards Jaune, "You mean to tell me, that we have been hanging out with someone that wasn't even qualified to enter Beacon?"

She tried to sound calm and composed, she really did, however, it didn't come out that way, it sounded more accusatory and much harsher than she normally was.

"Combat wise, yes. Academically, quiet possibly. However, I did in fact pass the leadership and tactical test! Ren had told me that I got the highest marks in that test out of everyone." Jaune admitted to her.

"That's still illegal!" Weiss pointed out.

"I know!" Jaune retorted, before slumping in the lounge, placing his hands upon his temples and started to rub them, "I was just under a lot of pressure... I wanted to prove that I can live up to my family name." He admitted.

While that did play a part in him wanting to enter the Academy, it was also one of the reasons why he got his hands on some fake transcripts.

"Jaune... were you ever going to tell us?" Ruby questioned softly, struggling to look at Jaune as instead, her attention was on her hands as she fiddled with them.

"I was... I just... didn't know when to bring it up." He said, bringing his hand and placing it upon Ruby's, "It's just that you all mean a lot to me, and I didn't want to lose you. For all that its worth, I'm sorry for hiding this from you guys for so long, and I promise I will make it up to you, in anyway that I can." He said, making sure to bring his gaze to all the members of team RWBY.

"It's... alright, I forgive you." Ruby finally got out, briefly flashing him a small smile, "You owe me three bags of cookies though, as compensation!" Ruby stated, pointing an accusing finger in his direction, trying her best to give an intimidating look.

"Alright, Loverboy, you can make it up to me by being my punching bag for the next few days. Doesn't matter where, sparring classes or our little training sessions." She added on, slamming her fist into an open palm as she sent a look that meant Jaune was going to be in a lot of pain.

"Are you seriously letting it go like that?" Weiss exclaimed, almost unbelieving of this, turning her attention to Blake, she hoped that she would make sense of this, "Blake, surely not you too!"

Giving Weiss a deadpanned stare, she let go of her shoulders, "Weiss, aren't you being hypocritical?" She asked, "I hid the fact that I was a Faunus from all of you for are better part of a term. I also admitted that I was once apart of the White Fang, and was responsible for causing your family problems as well." She pointed out, before gesturing to Jaune, "So, what makes Jaune's admittance worse than mine?" She asked once again.

"I also might've... destroyed a bar in town before Beacon started." Yang pointed out with a shrug of her shoulders, telling of her dangerous stunt and possible illegal doings.

"I stole from the cookie jar... and might've taken a sip from Qrow's flask when I was eleven." Ruby admitted.

"Wait, what!?" Yang exclaimed, looking at Ruby with a furious mother hen, "Uncle Qrow... you are so dead to me." She muttered out, thinking of all the ways that she could... injure and possibly maim her rather eccentric uncle.

Ruby merely chuckled awkwardly and tried to shrink in on herself. She had forgotten that she had never told Yang that little tidbit about the alcohol.

Opening her mouth to give her answer, it clicked shut, doing that a few times to try and come up with an answer, however, she just couldn't, "Fine." She relented, giving Jaune a look that meant that he had lost some points in her book, "I will think of your punishment later."
