Chapter 1

No one predicted Shoto and Amajiki becoming friends, but it happened, and there was no stopping the disaster to come… The two had met during a routine street check with their internship agencies and they hit it off immediately. Since they were both extremely reserved and timid, their personalities complimented each other.

It was dusk, and Endeavor kept forcing Shoto to follow him around while he showed off to everyone. Flaunting fake ideals and useless words that meant nothing in his heart. Shoto was about to just ditch his dear-old-dad when he saw a boy with bluish-purple hair walking out of a nearby convenience store. He was slightly familiar with the other person since he went to UA, just like Shoto. He was a member of The Big 3, and everyone looked up to him and his classmates. After all, they were third years, and all the students admire the upperclassmen.

Since the guy looked like he needed someone to chat with, Shoto walked over, filling the gap between them. He strode across the street and waved slightly at the other boy. He assumed the third year recognized him because, as soon as he saw him, he turned away and pressed his forehead on to the concrete wall. Shoto just kept walking, hoping to avoid his father for a little while. Once he finally reached the other person, he leaned his back against the wall, searching for something to say to the boy.

"Hey. You're part of The Big 3, right?" He asked in his monotone voice. He glanced over at the guy standing next to him, his eyes staring at the ground.

"It's fine if you don't wanna look at me. I get it." Shoto added as he slipped his hands in his pant pockets.

"S-sorry." The other said as his body started to shake with, what seemed to be, anxiety.

Shoto remembered when he had come to Class 1-A with his friends to explain the purpose of internships and partnering with agencies. He was so timid and nervous. From what Shoto could see, he'd only talked a few times that day: Once in class, once in the training hall, and another time while he was talking to his friends. Even though he'd only said a couple short sentences, his anxious nature could be seen immediately. Someone could tell that just by his body motions. The two-toned boy just kept his cool, so he wouldn't freak the poor guy out.

"For what?"

"F-for...being rude..."

"You're not being rude. I know my scar creeps people out."

The boy looked up a little when Shoto said that. He lifted his gaze from the ground and desperately searched for something to look at. He really didn't want to look at the person next to him, but he had to, there was nowhere else to look. His eyes ultimately landed on Todoroki's scar and then hastily darted away. He gave up on looking at the other teenager and resorted to just staring at the sidewalk.

"It's...it's not...creepy."

"Yeah it is." At this point, Shoto was basically trying to keep the conversation going. He needed someone to talk to so he wouldn't have to speak to his father. To his surprise, the guy was actually still talking. He'd figured he just wanted to be left alone.

"W-why do you t-think that?"

"Well, it looks weird, so I get it if people think I'm scary or mean."

"Oh...o-ok... You're S-Shoto Todoroki, right? I know you f-from watching the s-sports festival."

"Yeah, and you're Tamaki Amajiki."

"U-uhm...yes..."

"I heard you're interning with Fatgum."

"Mhm...E-Eijirou is with us, t-too."

Shoto perked up a little at the mention of his classmate. He doesn't really hang out with Kirishima that much since Bakugo is tutoring him 24/7, but he is a pretty good friend. Just as he was about to say something else, he hears a pair of automatic doors open. His eyes dart over to the store and he sees a familiar head of spiked-up, red hair.

"Oh, hey Kirishima."

The red-head jerked his head around at hearing his name called.

"Woah! Todoroki, you're here, too?! I thought you had that internship with your dad."

Shoto scratched the back of his neck, causing a red mark to appear. He looked over at one of the distant buildings, then back to Kirishima.

"Yeah, I am. I just stopped by to talk to Amajiki."

"Oh! Really? Why? What did you do this time, Tamaki?"

Amajiki glanced up to stare at Kirishima. His eyes were clouded with anxiety. Eijirou walked over to the nervous boy and patted him on the back.

"Oh boy, um, it was nice seeing you, Todoroki. I think we should take Amajiki back now. Right, Fatgum?"

Shoto glanced over to the store's entrance. He saw a pro hero, who was officially known as Fatgum, leaving the store with a whole tray of cake pops. His plush body took up half of the sidewalk when he walked past. Shoto swiftly stepped out of his path so he could reach Kirishima and Amajiki. Kirishima waved at Todoroki as he skipped off, gently dragging Tamaki along with him. Shoto said a quick 'bye' and strode away from the three. He would occasionally glance back at the trio, eyes fixed on the boy he so desperately wanted to talk to. Alas, the three turned the corner, leaving Todoroki alone with his contradicting thoughts.

I'm better than this. And now I'm gonna be stuck with that bastard for the next 4 hours. Damn it. I hate this life. Well, at least I got to see Kirishima and Amajiki, and even Fatgum. That was pretty cool. Yeah... Come on, Shoto. Focus on the good.

He continued walking down the sidewalk until he, too, turned the corner.

Hi! Oh gosh. I've had this in my stories list FOREVER. I got bored so I was like 'Hey, I'm gonna keep writing this ShoTama fic and they can't stop me. Hehehehehehehe!' I honestly think Shoto and Tamaki would be absolutely ADORABLE together. ...No? Ok. Well, I know someone out there thinks the same as me. Comment if you do. Lol. I must know! Bye! ;)
