Chapter 4

Why is she here? I don't want her here. I just want to be with Tamaki...without interruptions. Is that so fucking difficult?! Damn it!

Shoto closed his book, then stood up. He walked over to one of the baristas and ordered a cup of coffee. This confused Tamaki to an extent. Todoroki normally ordered the drinks beforehand since he already knew Amajiki's favorite kind of coffee: Honey Bee Cortado. He loved the blend because it was a perfectly sweet mix of honey, milk, and espresso. In Shoto's opinion, he seemed more like a Vanilla Cappuccino person, but he wasn't judging.

As the other boy returned, Amajiki sat down in the chair next to Todoroki's, and Nejire sat across from them. She was so energetic and lively, so Tamaki guessed that she didn't want any coffee, especially not espresso.

"Hey, hey! Tamaki? That's Todoroki, right? He's Endeavor's son. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! Oh, he's coming back."

Nejire tried to calm herself, but nothing seemed to work. She was restless. She really wanted to know why her friend was hanging out with Shoto Todoroki.

Hmmmmm...why is he doing this? Todoroki is so...classy. Who would've thought that they would be friends. It's so sweet. This is probably why Amajiki has livened up.

She sat there, waiting for Shoto to sit down. Her mind was racing, as was her heart. She couldn't comprehend what she was seeing. Amajiki was speaking to Shoto Todoroki. Actually speaking to him. No stuttering, fidgeting, or looking down. And he was...smiling?! It's like he was a different person. Who knows, maybe he was. Maybe Shoto had changed him.

"So, Todoroki?" She questioned in her energetic tone.

"Hm?"

"Where'd you get that scar? I asked you in class, but you never responded. Did you have like a huge accident or something?"

Shoto quickly stood up and walked away in a furious rage. The sudden movement scared Tamaki a little. Todoroki was normally so calm about everything, so why was he acting out?

"Um...was it something I said?"

"I don't know..."

Amajiki stood up and started looking around for where Shoto could've gone. He then turned to look at Nejire. She was playing with the frills on her dress.

"Just...stay here..."

"Ok."

He sauntered off, still looking for his friend.

Where is he? Please, Shoto...don't do this to me. I need you. Please...

His eyes wandered around aimlessly until they locked on to a certain individual. Immediately, he knew it was Todoroki. Who else could have red and white hair and heterochromatic eyes?

"T-Todoroki...?"

"What?"

"...you scared me..."

"Well, sorry. I wasn't expecting to be interrogated about my childhood." Shoto sarcastically remarked.

"I... I'm sorry."

"Stop. Just...stop. I don't want your damn pity. It's my problem, not yours."

Todoroki began to walk away again, but Tamaki grabbed his arm before he could. Shoto spun around and jerked his arm away.

"Shoto...what's wrong...? Please...tell me."

"No."

"Please, I need to know."

"I already said no!"

Tamaki stepped away slightly, not wanting to anger the boy any more than he already was.

"Shoto...I-I don-" He was cut off abruptly.

"Leave. Now."

Damn, what am I doing?! I don't want him to leave. I want her to. I hate her, she's ruining everything.

At this point, Tamaki was crying. He didn't want to go, he wanted to comfort his friend. His mind was so desperate for answers, he would do anything to get them.

"S-Shoto?"

"Please, Tamaki...I don't want to hurt you."

Todoroki was finally able to walk away, considering that Tamaki was too stunned to stop him. The boy was just standing there, unmoving, unconcerned with anything else but his friend's well-being. He gazed at the ground, incapable of thinking, all he could do was block out the world.

Shoto...please...don't leave me...I like you...

Ok! Here's the fourth chapter. I know it's really short, but I hope you liked it. Todoroki sure did freak out, maybe a little too much. Anyway, bye! Love you guys! ;)
