"How do you travel faster than light?" the Doctor asked.

"By opening a quantum tunnel with an FTL factor of thirty-six point seven recurring," Milo answered without hesitation.

The Doctor's mouth dropped open. He shook himself out of it. "How do I fly?" he questioned, grinning. He rose into the air and floated around. There was no way he'd know the answer.

Milo immediately floated out of his chair and joined the Doctor. The Doctor fell to the ground.

"I can't believe it's you," Sarah whispered.

The silence was shattered by Mickey's scream.

"Okay! Now I can!"

They grinned and ran toward the gym.

"I've learned a new trick since I last saw you," the Doctor said. He grinned and grabbed Sarah's hand and ran faster.

She had trouble keeping up, but his feet lifted off the ground and he flew through the corridors, fast enough that he pulled Sarah off the ground too. She looked a little scared at first, but her face slowly broke into a grin.

The Doctor planted his feet on the ground and almost skidded into Rose running from another corridor. Sarah bumped into him.

"Did you hear that?" Rose asked.

"Leave the Doctor alive. As for the others . . . you can feast," Mr. Finch said.

The Krillitane swooped down on them. The Doctor grabbed a chair and flew at the Krillitane. They chased each other around the room. The Doctor tried to fend the creatures away from the others.

Suddenly, a red beam knocked a Krillitane out of the air. Mr. Finch roared with rage.

"K9!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Suggest you engage running mode, Mistress," K9 said.

"Come on!" the Doctor said. He flew to a door and the others ran after him, K9 shooting at the Krillitanes. "K9, hold them back!" the Doctor shouted.

"Affirmative, Master. Maximum defence mode!"

The Doctor stood by the door and ushered the others through. "Come on!" He ran through and slammed it shut, locking it with the sonic screwdriver.
