Chapter 1
It was on those nights one knew it was too quiet to be real. Even in Godric's Hollow a frog would croak or dog would bark but not this night. It was too quiet.
The Potter family felt safe behind fidelius charm as erected by Albus Dumbledore. Only the secret keeper could divulge the secret to allow someone to enter the cottage. That's when the front door blew inwards...
"Lily take Harry and run!" And so it begins…
Voldemort had killed both of Harry Potter's parent and was ready to fulfill a prophecy with the boy, leaving the Dark Lord the undisputed winner. "Avada Kedavra!"
In less than a blink of an eye there was an entity standing on a white cloud between Harry Potter and the Dark Lord. He had large white wings, carried a smallish staff, had brownish hair and dressed in multicolored toga like robes. The being raised his hand and the Avada Kedavra returned to its sender, no part of it reached Harry Potter. The almost 2-year-old Harry Potter in fact was laughing and clapping his hands as it had been quite a light show.
"Harry, Merlin you're still alive!" Sirius Black lifted Harry from his crib and exited the building,. The strange being was nowhere to be seen. However a different being was there.
"Hagrid what are you doing here?"
"Dumbledore told me to come here and pick up Harry and take him to Hogwarts."
Sirius Black reluctantly handed Harry to Hagrid as he wished to chase down the secret keeper Peter Pettigrew and end his treasonous life. However in the land of magic and unexplainable occurrences, Harry Potter disappeared from Hagrid's arms. As Hagrid turned to confront Sirius Black Hagrid found Sirius had used Apparition from the front yard of Godric's Hollow. Later from an exploding street Sirius Black also disappeared in front of a slew of Aurors.

"Honest Albus Dumbledore sir, I did my best. I had Harry in my arms Sirius Black was leaving when they suddenly both disappeared."
"There, there Hagrid you did your best. Why don't you take the rest of the evening off? I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of this." Dumbledore replied.

Meanwhile Harry Potter was now peacefully sleeping in Sirius Black's arms, Sirius Black was on the verge of losing it big time. They were in a room that had marble floors marble walls all inlaid with gold. Furniture was like new but appeared to be from the far, far past. AND Sirius Black had no idea how he had gotten there.
As a stranger with white wings appeared all Sirius Black could do was sit down, all of this was way too much.
"Sirius Black please relax. No harm will come to you or the baby. I am called an angel by your people, and that I live in heaven. Being entirely a spirit and not having a body I do not live in a "where" so much as in a state. Angels are messengers and guardians of humans. Then there is the 'Fates', the 'Fates' have a timeline that must continue but is only a road everyone alive must follow. You for instance Sirius Black was destined to be confined in Azkaban prison. You're being here with Harry is considered being confined so the timeline continues. However, what happens while you're imprisoned is not spelled out in 'fates timeline' so Harry Potter will receive extensive training like a slave, but not in gardening and house cleaning. His training will be demanding. Thus you are filling 'fates timeline'. This training will be conducted by you as an ex Auror and many more entities that have gone before you."
"So we will be trained by our relatives and James and Lily Potter?
"No Sirius Black that would cause disasters emotional problems. No, other qualified people will take on those tasks. The only problems we wish to cause are to that self-proclaimed Dark Lord. He shall return but rather than Harry sacrificing himself for the human race, we will have other plans and hick-ups on the road of 'Fates timeline and Albus Dumbledore's 'Greater Good'."
"This is all quite confusing I'm not sure I'm not under a 'Confucius charm'."
"I again say, Sirius please relax. No harm will come to you or the baby. However, I can tell you this much, if things are not adjusted Dumbledore will ensure that Harry sacrifices Harry Potter's life for Dumbledore's 'Greater Good'.
That is one of his favorite sayings when he wishes to ensure he gets his way. Sirius mused to himself.
"What we have done so far has stopped Harry from being marked and that Mark would have contained a horcrux…'
"WHAT!"
"Also since he does not have those detrimental attachments his eyesight will be perfect and his magic will increase to astounding levels. He will be marked but I will leave you and/or his future spouse to find it"
"But…"
"I have appeared to you Sirius Orin Black and explained the vision about future events, Harry Potter has been specially chosen." At that point Sirius found himself alone with Harry.

Sirius Black's point of view:
If I had not had to ensure Harry's well-being I would've thought I had gone totally crazy. The stone room we were in dissolved and I found both of us sitting on the front lawn in a lawn chair. The front lawn was of course in front of a nice comfortable three-bedroom house which I found with both Muggle and magical appliances. What was crazy was that the TV worked so we got the BBC and the radio got WWN radio. Harry got a house elf nanny and the place was full of house elves. This looked like it was going to be one nice prison.
The next morning things got even more unusual. The four founders of Hogwarts showed up to explain that Harry was a distant descendent of a couple of them and Harry would be Hogwarts favorite when he attended the school. I was sure that I totally lost it when Merlin showed up to explain a few facts…
"Well everything here appears to be real and solid, but it is a fact we are ghosts." Merlin informed me. "While we appear to be solid our training of young Harry will require your assistance continuously. We will teach him mind magic's, wand-less magic, spells and curses and much more. It is however up to you to ensure he maintains a fairly normal mentality. We do not want him to become a pompous new Dark Lord. With this thought in mind we have established areas you may take him where can mix with others of his own age, as well as other magical adults. Just make sure he does not become a pompous babbling ass."
