Ochaco sat in her room, her very dark room. It was her third year and she was almost done graduating. But now it was all ruined. She shoved her head back under her pillow as she heard people walking by in the hallway. Her head hurt and she was surrounded by tissues. Wet, snotty, disgusting tissues. It was all his fault she was like this. She had pinned for him for so long, even confessed to him and waited for him to respond only for him to actually graduate a week earlier and run off with little miss shield without even telling her goodbye! She was an idiot, why did she think she could even compete with someone like Melissa? She was so angry, so heartbroken, for such a pinned up love. It hurt a lot. He could have rejected her, she would have been fine with that! It least she would have gotten some closure! But no goodbye, no nothing? Did he even consider her a friend?

There was a knock at her door and she groaned, sitting up to look at her clock. It was nine o clock. She got up and opened the door and there stood Mina. She smiled, "Hey, Ochaco!"

The brunette forced a smile in return, "Hey, Mina."

"So... you wanna go do something with us tonight?" Mina asked. She had been trying to get Ochaco out of her room and not moping around for two days and nothing worked. Ochaco bit her lip and looked down sadly.

"I don't feel like doing anything, I'm still upset and mad and-"

"And that's why you would love this!" Mina grabbed her hands and Ochaco looked up in confusion, "You deserve to be angry!" She pulled out her phone and showed her some stuff, "Look at this, Deku left a whole bunch of stuff there before he left. So we're going out to burn it tonight! Wanna come?"

"Burn... Deku's stuff?" Ochaco whispered.

Why did that excite her? Was it because she was angry at him?

"Yeah, a bunch of stuff he didn't bother taking with him to America with Melissa," Ouch , "A mattress, a shoe holder, some nightstand, and an old blanket."

"I..." Ochaco blinked, "Yeah, I'd be fine with that. Are we going now?"

"Mhm!" Mina nodded, "We're meeting downstairs right now in Bakugo's truck."

"Bakugo got a truck?" Ochaco's mouth opened, "When?"

"His parents got it for him as an early graduation present. I think it's an older model though." Ochaco nodded understandably. Bakugo's parents had money. She turned suddenly and pulled on her black hoodie and quickly threw her hair into a ponytail. Mine blinked, mouth open wide for a second.

"Ochaco, I've never seen you with your hair up... or seen you wear black."

Ochaco flushed, "I'll keep my denim leggings on..." She then threw on a pair of white sneakers and stood up, grabbing her phone and dorm keys. She walked out with Mina into the quiet hallway. It was almost curfew but the BakuSquad didn't care. Ochaco threw on her hood and kept her head down. She didn't want people to see how horrible her face looked from crying.

When the two girls got there, Bakugo was waiting with Kirishima and Kaminari. Ochaco felt awkward and his behind Mina, "Is there even enough room?"

"I think so," Mine whispered, "He said he could fit five."

Bakugo's red eyes looked up, he looked at Mina then his eyes met a pair of brown ones, "What's cheeks doing here?"

"She wants to come with us tonight, and I invited her." Mina said confidently.

"What an achievement."

"Hey, Bakubro, be nice." Kirishima shoved him playfully to which the blonde tch'd. He turned to Ochaco and smiled, "It'll be nice to have you along, Ochaco."

"Thanks..." Ochaco muttered, starting to regret coming.

"Whatever, let's get in the truck and go." Bakugo turned and got in the drivers seat, and Ochaco took the time to look at the truck. It was big, but only because of the cab. The front of the truck was small. Kaminari and Mina got in the back, where there were two fold down seats. Ochaco looked at Kirishima nervously, "Where should I..."

"Middle front! It has a buckle." Kirimishima opened the front passenger door and motioned for her to step in first. Her eyes once again glanced at Bakugo. She would sit between him and Kiri? She gulped and moved inside, sitting on the small middle seat between them. Mina called behind her and gave her the belt which Ochaco thanked her for and then fastened it into the buckle. Kirishima got in beside her and close their door and grinned, throwing his arm up and around her shoulders, "I have big arms, do you mind if I put them behind you Ochaco?"

"No, I don't mind." Ochaco smiled. She stiffened when she felt something extremely warm slid around her. She turned to her left and Bakugo had his right arm around her also. She bit her lip. His hand fell over her right shoulder, his fingers dangling over her skin, where as Kiri's fell behind her seat. Bakugo pulled out of the school parking lot and the group started their drive out to the middle of no where. It was dark and all she could hear was Kiri and Mina and Kaminari making jokes the whole way and blasting music. But that wasn't the issue, no, Bakugo moved a lot, he wasn't comfortable in one place very long. This resulted in him readjusting him arm a lot, and his fingers slightly brushing her shoulder or arm. It didn't help, no, not one bit, because it was sending shivers down her spine. The other thing that didn't help was how he smelled like burnt sugar. She didn't know why but it didn't even smell bad, it smelt awfully good, and Ochaco found herself jealous that she couldn't smell like a toasty cinnamon roll because of her quirk.

Accidentally, her hair caught under Bakugo's arm, so she attempted to pull her ponytail out from under his arm. However she wasn't prepared for him reaching his hand behind her head and moving it for her. His hand lightly flipped it out before going back to resting across her shoulders. She turned to look at him. He glanced at her for a second then looked back at the road. She let out a heavy sigh and relaxed, leaning back slightly to rest her neck on the warm skin of his arm. Soon, the warmth on the back of her neck did nothing but make her eyes close and drift off into a temporary sleep.

Kirishima looked at the sleeping brunette on Bakugo's arm. "She's had it rough."

"Yeah..." Mina said quietly, "She's been crying in her room for days."

"Well, what Deku did was kind of a dick move." Kaminari spoke up, "Imagine if one of us did that she probably wouldn't care because we weren't close... but Deku didn't say bye to any of us."

Hand clenched on the steering wheel, Bakugo finally spoke up, "Who cares about what that fucking idiots does. That's all he is, an idiot. We shouldn't be talking about him in the first place. We're going tonight to get rid of the last of his useless existence here and that's it."

Everyone got quiet, and Mina had the guts to ask the question everyone else wanted to ask, "Are you upset he left without telling you too?"

Bakugo remained silent but his grip on the steering wheel got stronger. A few minutes of music passed and they approached a fire pit. Bakugo lifted his arm up, barking at the sleeping girl next to him, "Wake up, cheeks! We're here." She stirred, head falling to the left and onto his shoulder. He turned red at the ears a bit and she blinked, reaching her arms up to stretch and yawn. Kirishima opened up his door and out piled Mina and Kaminari. Kirishima turned to tell Ochaco his door was open but found her getting out on Bakugo's side. He blinked as he watched Bakugo's eyes linger on Ochaco's back.

"So how do we do this?" Ochaco asked.

"First, we get all this stuff out of the truck." Bakugo said, hopping in the bed of the truck, "We're not setting it on fire in the truck, dumb ass."

She winced and Mina frowned, "Bakugo!"

"What, it's the truth!" He turned to Kirishima and Kaminari, "Get up here and help me with his mattress and shit."

"Yes, sir!" Kirishima hopped up, activated his quirk, and in one move threw the mattress on the fire pit, along with everything else.

"Ochaco, wanna help me put lighter fluid on the mattress?" Mina offered a white bottle of fluid, with another in her left hand. Ochaco took one and together they sprayed the mattress and furniture around the pit. Mina threw her container in the pit and Ochaco copied her. Then went back to Kirishima, who handed her a box of matches. Ochaco blinked.

"What do I do with these?"

"I figured you'd get first dibs!" Kirishima smiled, and lit the first match and handed it to her, "Here you go! Start it off for us, Ochaco." She stared at the light then the mattress, tossing the match onto it. Her eyes widened when it lit up immediately and she jumped back in fear. Two hands caught her and she realized she jumped back into Bakugo's chest.

"Why are you so damn jumpy?" He asked while he glared down at her.

"I've... never done this stuff before. Sorry." She whispered.

"Whatever." His grip tightened momentarily on her waist before releasing her. She almost pouted. Why were his hands so warm? What the heck?

"Now we drink and star gaze with a warm fire!" Ochaco snapped her eyes up and looked behind her. The squad was already climbing into the back of the bed on some blankets and pillows. A large cooler with beers and wine coolers inside sat closer to the back. Ochaco climbed up and followed them. She sat next to Mina as she stared at the fire.

"Here, Ochaco, have a drink!" Mina offered her a beer and Ochaco put her hands up.

"Sorry, I've never drank before, and I don't wanna get in trouble." She looked away but Mina persissted.

"No, it's fine Ochaco!" She opened it and offered it to her, "As long as Bakugo doesn't drink we're fine."

"Are you sure..." Ochaco bit her lip. Mina nodded and Ochaco took the can, at first taking small sips.

Within ten minute Ochaco had already finished four cans. She started getting riled up with the rest of them as they laughed and sang songs while watching the fire burn (although at this point it was starting to die out). She looked up suddenly and looked at the stars. "Wowwww, it's so pretty..." She had let her hair down and her hood, a relaxing smile on her face.

"You're righttttt, it really isssssssss..." Mina sighed and snuggled against Kirishima and Kaminari, "What song should we sing next?"

"Oh, how about the duck song?"

"YES!"

"Ugh." Ochaco turned to see Bakugo hop out and walk away from the group, towards the front of the truck. Her eyes followed his body.

"Damn, what a hottie..." She whispered underneath her breath, her face turning red.

"Mmm what was that Chaco? Can't hear yaaaa." Mina slurred.

"Yeah, I said you're drunk Minaaaaaa." Ochaco slurred back. She stood up and wobbled a bit, slowly getting out of the bed of the truck. Then she slowly started creeping towrads the front of the truck. Bakugo sat there leaned back against the hood of the truck looking up at the sky with headphones in. She stepped in front of him and he looked down at her.

He raised an eyebrow, "What?" He asked, pulling out a headphone.

"Nothing..." She flushed, "I just wanted to come find you."

He bit his lip and glared at her, "For what?"

"Do I need a reason?" She sang happily and absentmindedly her hands wandered up his chest. He growled and pulled her hands down.

"Why the hell are you touching me?"

"I could ask you the same questionsss." She purred and resumed touching his chest, "You had you arm around me the whole time and kept touching my shoulder and arm."

"Cause I had to move!" He said defensively, "I get uncomfortable sitting in one place too long." He smacked her hand away and she pouted. His heart lurched. Fuck.

"You brushed against my neck when you saved my hair." She pouted, then pulled up her hood again, to hide her face.

"Listen here, angel cheeks," He yanked her close and glared at her, "I won't be anyone's rebound."

"But don't you want to be mine?" She asked, arms finding their way around his neck.

"I don't." He replied coldly. And although his hands stayed to his sides, they were twitching uncontrollably.

"Oh really?" She asked smirking, head tilting to the side as she swayed.

"I swear Ochaco, you're drunk, and being stupid, and not making any sense." She stopped then. When he said her name it was serious. She took a step back, releasing her hold of him as she let out an aggravated sigh.

"Fine, be that way then..." She turned her back to him and started walking away, but stopped and turned slightly to look at him, "Kat-su-ki."

He didn't know what happened but his hand was around her wrist and then had her pinned against the hood of his truck in 3 seconds. His lips attacked hers in a hard and vicious kiss, clutching the sides of her hood to keep her head still. She moaned in response and threaded her fingers in his golden locks as his hands traveled under her hoodie to rake against her ribs. She mew'ld lowly and he hushed her against her lips. She nodded and slowly they came back into a kiss again. He held it there before he pulled away.

"Thanks... Bakugo..." Her eyelids fluttered as she felt all her energy leave her, "I really needed that."

"Let's go back to the truck and let you sleep." He whispered. He took her hand and she followed as they climbed back in and she curled into him and fell asleep on his shoulder. The others stayed in the back having a good time.

That night Ochaco dreamed of Bakugo and fires and warmth and it was almost like she could smell him sugar burn smell while she was sleeping.
