Rick has arrived at his book launched party, his family, friends and his fans are waiting for him. He gets out of his car; in his black suit. He is very excited, cause after this last book of storm. He had already a new idea for a book series and a new character. Making his way to the elevator he gets on it. As soon as he hits the rooftop. He goes over to his family; "daddy, hey dad." He hug his two small children first and his oldest child second. "Hello, Richard how are you?" Rick turned to the older red head. "Hello, mother always a pleasure." Martha turned to give him a hug. After their hug, he goes over to his children. His oldest Alexis is fourteen years old, five year old twins son and daughter. "Emma and Henry, how are you two doing?" He lifted both of them up into his arms. "We're doing alright daddy." Both of them answered him at the same time. He was looking around for his lovely wife. But he couldn't see her anywhere. The elevator dang and it opened upon. His jaw hit the floor, when she had walked off the elevator. She is wearing a short bright red cocktail, red heels, her long dark brown hair is on top of her head with curly. She had people looking at her; but she wasn't playing attention. She had her eyes on one man, she had wide smile on her face. She is right in front of him. She lean towards his lips, when she kisses him. He has a hand on the back of her head. The kiss goes on for several minutes. She pulled away, "missed me." Rick pulled her into another kiss. "These that answer your question. She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck. " that's one way to answer. But, I like it very much."

Few hours into the launch party

Rick is taking photos and signing autographs he looked very happy. Then Gina walked over to him; "you better have a new story and soon. Cause after killing off your main character. These could very well finished your career." Rick was glad their marriage never worked out. Both of them won't in their right minds. He shouldn't have married his editor. He held up his hand and said; "maybe, if you could stop jumping to conclusions. I would have been happy to tell you. Already have a new character and story line up." Rick walks away from her. Gina looked ashamed at her behavior. She shouldn't have assumed anything. Rick wasn't too happy, but he wrap his arm tightly around her waist. Emily turned to him and kisses him. "You, alright my love?" Rick chin is on her forehead, "I'm already now. I wanna tell you something very important." Emily looked into her husband bright blue eyes. "What is it, Rick?" He got down on his knees, "I just wanna tell you. That I love you; more then any woman had meet in my whole life. Emily ever since you came into mine and Alexis lives. I couldn't asked for more. You, were the first woman, who saw me as something more then a playboy. You have stood by my side through everything good and bad. Not only have made my daughter very happy. But you made me a better man; better husband and father to two more children. In case I never told you this I love you, Emily."

Emily had tears in her eyes, his words were so romantic. "Life means nothing without you in it." Both of them are enjoying their time together. When they both hear; "excuse me. Richard Castle, we need you to come down for questioning at the precinct." Emily looked at the other woman. "Look, lady I don't know. Who you think you are. But, you don't have a warrant for his arrest. Unless you want me on the phone with your captain." She got right in Emily face, "my name is detective Kate Beckett and I'm here because, he's a suspect in a murder." Emily got right in her face, "I'm sure your captain, isn't going to like it. When he hears from me about your behavior and attitude through his friend over here." Beckett was getting very piss off with these woman. "Look, lady I don't know, who you are or who you think you are. But this is police investigation you are getting in the way of." Emily got into her small purse and pulled out her badge and shove it in Beckett face. "I'm Captain Emily Castle. Over at the 13th precinct and you have no arrest warrant for my husband Richard Castle." Kate Beckett and her team were lost for word's. Kate Beckett was looking very pale and her team had their heads down and shame. "I'm thinking I better call, Captain Montgomery and let him know about your unprofessional behavior." Emily called over her two detective friends. "Detectives Owen and Scott would be so kind to escort them out of here."

Emily turned to her husband and said; "I'm sorry, honey it looked like the party over for tonight." Rick had wrap his arm tightly around her waist. "It's alright, let's head over to the 12th precinct and see what's so important that a young female lead detective had to ruin a launch party." Both of them took the kids and Martha home. When Emily got their Captain Montgomery was there waiting for them both to arrive. He yelled very loudly, "BECKETT, MY OFFICE RIGHT THIS MINUTE." Detective Beckett was walking into Roy office. "You, wanted to see me about something sir?" Kate knew that she was in really big trouble this time around. "Yes, I did detective Beckett. Do you wanna explain to me? Why you went into a book launch party? Not, only did you bring disgust to this precinct. You, got into Captain Castle face. How dare you pull a move like that." Kate Beckett had her head down. "I'm sorry, sir, I was just going off a gut feeling that I had. I shouldn't have done, what I did and ill do anything to make it right." Montgomery gave her a hard look and said; "I'm glad you feel that way cause. Not only will you be working with your team. But you will be assisting with two detectives from the 13th precinct and along with Castle. You have better apologies to both him and his wife." Kate just said; "yes, sir I'll make my apology to both him and his wife."
