"But, sir, you mean I have to work with two detectives from another precinct and a civilian. You have got to be kidding me; sir. It's not fair that I get punished." The Captain slammed down both of his hands on his desk. "You hold your tongue, detective do you forget whose house your in?" Kate had the decency to look ashamed. "I'm sorry, sir, your right it's my screw up." Kate had her hands running across her red face from anger to embarrassment. She knew that it was a really big mistake to argue against her captain. "Tomorrow morning you and your team will be working with the 13th precinct. Is that clear, detective." Kate Beckett looked back up and said; "yes, sir clear as crystal." Kate asked; "can I be excuses sir?" Captain Montgomery looked at his lead detective and said; "your dismissed." Kate walks out of his office. Montgomery turned to look at Castle and Emily both. "I apologize to you both for my lead detective behavior. She just doesn't think, she's just bull charged her way into things." Emily could see these was hurting Roy, but he has to understand that as captain. When you're in charge of your house and floor you have to show everyone that you are the boss. "Captain Montgomery much as I appreciate you apologizing. You need to control your team better. Beckett has too much of an attitude and no nonsense. She really needs to watch it or some day her and her whole team are going to run into some huge problems that you wouldn't be able to bail them out of."

Montgomery was at a lost for word's, he had tried to shield Beckett from the world. But was it really the right thing for her; he had to quit shielding from all of the powerful people in the world. That wasn't going to protect her from the real world. She needed to learn on how to stand up on her own two feet. Roy looked at Emily; she was the youngest female at her precinct to become captain. "Maybe, we all should head for home and get some rest. I'll see your two detectives and your husband first thing in the morning." The three of them got on the elevator and were all going down to the lobby.

Early the next morning

Rick and Emily were both dressed up and ready to leave for his wife precinct. Both them hugged and kissed the kids good bye. They both got a hot cup of coffee. Emily is going through her paperwork in the car. When Rick had pulled in, both of them wave to the desk Sergeant Hawkins. Both of them got on the elevator and were heading up to the homicide floor. By the time they had reached the floor. Some people had came in early to work. Others were just arriving in for work. Emily unlock her captain office, she goes inside it. She has her computer booted up; then she was getting tell her people that they would be working with the 12th precinct. Emily went out in front of her office with her husband right by her side. "Alright everybody as you all knew that some detectives from the 12th precinct tried to arrest my husband yesterday. They thought he had something to do with three murders. It's obvious that someone used my husband books to murder each of the victims. I need you'll all to be on your best behavior. I'm very proud of your hard work and dedication. Thank you everyone." The captain goes back inside her office. Rick has his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. He kiss her neck, "don't worry everything going to be fine." Emily was very worried about her husband, she couldn't understand why his books were chosen.

At the 12th precinct

The elevator opened up with two detectives and Castle they were walking off. Rick had known detectives Owen and Scott for six years. Both of them were the two best men he had ever meet he had gotten to knew them pretty well after he had worked a few case's with the team. They walked over to Beckett and her team. She had pictures of all of the victims. "How good of you three to joined us." She said in a very bitchy attitude. Rick and both of his boys just shake their heads together. Rick whispers in both their ears. "Let's go get a cup of hot coffee." Owen and Scott both nod their heads. "Were going to go get a cup of coffee." He tells Beckett and her team. "Whatever." She says to them, all three of them are getting out of the 12th precinct. Scott was the first to speak, "what her problem?" Owen said; "she's just got a really bad attitude with us." Rick could believe it; "she doesn't like anyone getting in her way." All three men had really hot cup of coffee together. Then all three men returned and saw that both Beckett and her team were all gone. "She's most have gone after her suspected. I been looking through her photos, whoever did this got everything wrong here." Owen said; "your right buddy. I'm guessing whoever did this. Most have read your books, but there something off here about how all of the crimes were committed." Scott was looking over everything and he was spotting a difference from all of the crimes. "Everything was changed from your books. You could tell the yellow dress isn't blue. The guy was strangled with a with a bag and the young lady was covered with different flowers."

The three men knew that they had to find the suspect quickly. By the time they reach his office, the three men saw him making a quick getaway. Rick was waiting for him; he is waiting for him. Rick kicks the gun away from him; he both the suspect were fighting each other. Scott and Owen were both holding the suspect down had him in cuffs. Rick is helped up by Owen; all three men took their suspects back to the 13th precinct. Emily is surprised that the suspect is brought in at the 13th precinct and not the 12th precinct.
