Three weeks later
Kate was getting really pissed off at anything and anyone who was in her path. Kate told herself that her boyfriend had it almost solved. She was hoping that they could prove that the line cook was the suspect. Kate tried to remind clam, "Esposito and Ryan have you two find anything useful that we could used to put the line cook in jail." Both of them are getting sick and tried of Kate and her attitude all together. Both of them are getting up and saying that they are going to look for more leads. Both of them couldn't go to the captain with their complaints. Cause he was protecting and shielding her from the world. Both of them go get lunch somewhere, they wanted to be far away from Beckett as possible. Both of them are at Remy, both of them are eating lunch. They see the captain from the 13th precinct along with her famous husband. Both of them are having lunch together. Esposito and Ryan are looking at each other, "while I hate to say this. But I'm thinking about transferring out of the 12th precinct, I need to get away from Beckett. I don't know what her problem is? But have you noticed the more time she spent with Demming. The less she listening to us, that all of the work loaded gets pushed on us all of the time." His partner couldn't help, but agree with him. "We been with her for a long time. I hate to do this to her; but I'm getting sick and tried of her treating us like were the ones who messed up. We give her all of the clues and everything. But she's not using them." Both of them are looking at the couple. "Should we go and talk to the captain over there." Kevin that it over for a moment. "Should we really be bothering a woman on a lunch date with her husband?" Javi got up was walking over to the couple.
At the Castle table
"I'm sorry to bother you and your husband." Emily looked and saw the Hispanic detective from Kate Beckett team at her table. "Is there something you need?" She asked him; trying not to look so annoyed by his presence. "Yes, first of I just wanted to apologies for the whole messing up your launch party." Rick replied with; "it's fine it's no big deal at all." Javi looked like a fish out of the water. He looks over at the captain, "I'm sorry for how I treated you and your whole precinct and team along with your husband." Emily thought it over and said; "apology accepted. Is there something I can help you with?" "Yes, I'm thinking about transferring from the 12th precinct along with my partner. I was wondering if you had any openings at your precinct?" Emily was shocked by all of this. "Why, are you and your partner wanting transfers for?" Javi was scathing his head for a second. "Were having trouble with our lead detective. She is putting all of her work loaded on us. So, she could have a lot more time with her new boy toy from robbery." Emily was listening very closely. "Why, is a robbery detective working with homicide?" Emily had no problem with robbery. "He's our lead new boyfriend. One day they were making out on the stairway. Both of them looked to be going all hot and heavy with each other." Emily and Rick are both listening to the story. "Shouldn't you be taking your complaints to your captain and not me." Kevin walks over there, "no, we can't go to him with our complaints. Beckett like his little princess, if you hurt her or anything. He takes off or bits your head off. She's like his right hand man." Emily had to shake her head at that. Captain won't suppose to play favorite with anyone. But this Montgomery was favoring Beckett a lot. You also shouldn't be letting your lead detective be getting away with things.
Emily was thinking it over for a second, "I'll see if we have any openings at the precinct. But I'm not making you any promises." Both of them had nodded their heads at that one. Rick paid their bill and both of them are getting ready to leave soon. Emily grabs a hold of her husband hand. "Will see if we can do something for you." Both of them are walking out of the restaurant. Rick dropped off Emily back at work. She looks over at her two older detectives, they would be retiree next week. That left her an opening left with two spots to fill. Emily thought over the two detectives offer about transferring from the 12th precinct. Emily was writing up an e-mail for captain Montgomery. After about an hour of writing it; she sent it to the 12th precinct. Then she gets back to work with her job as captain. She had hoped that the day would go by very fast so she could go home to her family. Then she goes over her reports, she always make sure her division is the best in the world. Emily got up to get a very hot cup of coffee, she had gotten her cup of coffee walked back to her office. When she got back to her office the phone was ringing off the hook. "Hello!" Then Emily was listening very closely, "excuse me, Captain Montgomery. But two of your detectives came over to my table. Telling me how they couldn't go to their own captain to complaints against your lead detective." Emily pulled the phone away from her ear. Montgomery was yelling into her ear. Emily was getting sick and tried of the captain attitude through her. "Look, captain maybe it you quit playing favoritism with your lead detective. Look captain, the way I see it you have better pull your head out of your ass and soon. Cause you could lose more detectives that way. You have better get your lead detective in line and soon."
