Back at the 12th precinct
Captain Montgomery was having a very hard time. He had gotten an e-mail from the captain at the 13th precinct. Montgomery couldn't stop, he had put more alcohol into his coffee. He was ready to explode with anger. He had learned that, Beckett was ignoring her team was only listening to her new boyfriend from robbery. He had heard about Tom Demming; but that was her pick in men. But Tom Demming was the last person, who Kate should be dating. But it was her life, she told everyone that her life was her own business. Montgomery had favored, Beckett way too much. He should have put his foot down a long time ago. But now that Esposito and Ryan were asking to be transferred over to the 13th precinct. Their transfer wasn't yet approved, but it would be bad if he lost both of his A team. It wasn't looking too good for his precinct, he had to either pull his head out of Beckett ass or watches his precinct fall apart all together. He got up from his desk, he opened up his office door forcefully almost slamming it against the wall. Montgomery was right in between his office and the bull pin. He was looking at everyone, they were all looking at him. Everyone had their eyes on the captain. "Detective Esposito and Ryan in my office right now." He called both of them into his office. Both of them go inside the office and watched as the door slammed shut violently. Both of the men took a seat at in front of the captain desk. Both men are looking at each other. These couldn't be good for the both of them. "I wanna to know, why you two couldn't have came to me with your complaints." Both of them don't say anything at first. "How were we supposed to come to you with complaints. When it involves your princess Beckett. Especially when you won't do anything about her behavior."
Montgomery is very surprised, not one of his detectives had ever spoken to him like that. "How dare you two spoke that way about me. Especially about your lead detective." Ryan had enough from his captain; "with all do respect sir. I quit," he tossed his badge on to Montgomery desk, he took out his service weapon and unload the chamber. "I think I'm better off working with another precinct, then working with a precinct that plays favoritism with one detective. Good luck to you, sir." Ryan gets up and places all of his NYPD property on his captain desk. Esposito couldn't took it either, "I quit to sir, have fun with Beckett and her boy toy. Cause I'm not going to stand around watch anymore sir." Esposito tossed his badge, he even unloaded his chamber and left his insurance cards on the desk. Esposito and Ryan are right by their old desk looking around at what was their work place. Both of them are walking over to the elevator. After getting on the elevator, they saw Beckett and her boy toy Demming had returned from lunch or whatever. Beckett had really confused look on her face. But before she could ask them anything, both men had turned away from her with a look of disgust. After that both men went to their homes. Now it was a waiting game. Esposito took out a cold beer from his fridge. He sit down in his chair getting ready to watch the game.
Back to the 12th precinct
Kate was really confused about what just happened. Both of her boys had gotten on to the elevator both of them looking at her with a look of disgust. Kate was trying to figure out, what could have happened that both of her brothers in arms had left with no explanation. Kate had walked over to the captain office, just trying to figure out what is going on with her team. She closed the door behind her to the captain office. "Sir, do you know what is going on with my team?" Montgomery was looking at her; he was putting away everything that Esposito and Ryan had given him. "Beckett, both Ryan and Esposito have decided to quit." Beckett gasp out loud from shock, "but, why?" Kate had tears in her eyes, both men had been her brothers in arms for a long time. "They said that every since you and your new boyfriend had gotten together. That you been shoving and pushing more work on them. While both you and your boyfriend go somewhere more private together. That you dismissed both of their evidence. Both of them had to the captain at the 13th precinct. Asking if they could work for her; that I'm too over protected of you." Kate had felt like someone had punched her in the gut. "Beckett, I'm sorry. But I think it's best you go home for the night." Kate had more tears falling down her face. She is walking out of the captain office acting on autopilot.
Kate had made it back to her apartment, she locked the door behind her. Then she walks back to the couch, she flips on her couch and she lets the tears fall down her face. Kate just couldn't stop crying her eyes out. Kate kept going back and forth in her mind. She had really screw up things with her brothers in arms. She had to get her shit together, she had fucked up badly and now it was costing her own team. Which she don't want to have happened at all. Now ever since she had gone out with Demming; everything seemed to be falling more apart. She needed to get her team back together and fast. Kate had changed out of her clothes, she started up the tub and put some bubble bath inside her tub. Then she got herself a glass of red wine. After turning off the water for her bath. She gets into the hot water, to see if that will relax her. But the tears wouldn't stop falling down her face.
