Ten years later
Emily and Rick were taking their pre teenagers to go see their older sister Alexis getting married. All them were dressed and ready to go, Rick would give away his daughter. Emma was going to be a bridesmaid, Sean was going to be the ring barrel and Emily was going to be sitting in her seat with her husband. She was really proud of her daughter, Emily was wearing a dress with a lace top with the long train with a lace skirt. Emily hair and makeup were perfect, Rick may have had grey hairs; but he still looked very handsome. Emma dress was very pretty, it was a very short purple dress with straps. Sean looked very handsome in his suit. Emily know that one day both of her children would grew up and get married some day. But right now she would enjoy her time with them. Emily was looking around the summer home, she went into Alexis dressing room where she was getting ready. Her daughter looked very beautiful, to a point that Emily was tears. Alexis got up and saw her mom inside her dressing room. "Hey mom." She hugged her tightly around the waist. "How are you my beautiful daughter?" She has her hands on Alexis face. "I'm good mom, I I'm very happy about my really big day." Emily was holding on to her tightly. "I'm sure you're father isn't looking forward to this day. But, he will understand when he gives you away. That he will see that your husband to be. Will hold you and protect you with his life." Emily kiss her cheek, she hug her for a few more minutes. Rick knocked and enter inside the room. He saw his oldest child and his wife hugging each other.
Emily kiss her husband cheek, she walked out the door closing it behind her. To give her husband and daughter some private time together. Before she gets herself married off and moves away from them. Emily goes out back to a large patio. See the wedding is coming along quite nicely, she goes to seat down on the steps. She had a really good husband and family. Her career was going very well, she had the top number one precinct in New York. Emily even got asked to fixed other precincts, that had the same problem as the 12th precinct did. She had done a really good job with Montgomery and Beckett. Montgomery was actually starting to act like a real boss, he don't favor Beckett anymore. Beckett understood that she had to be a real team leader. She did better with her next team, sure things won't the same between her and the captain. Beckett had dumped Demming after labor day weekend together. She had tried dating other men and had a few nights stands. But then Beckett had find a very stable relationship with someone. Emily knew that she would never be close to Beckett but that don't mean she wished her while into her career. Beckett wasn't close to too many people. But she had her one best friend, which was good enough for her. Beckett had a really good relationship with her new boyfriend and Beckett was the new captain at the 12th precinct. Montgomery had retire after two more years with the precinct.
Emily got up after that, she takes off her heels goes for a walk on the sandy beach. Emily goes to sit on a huge rock, she is watching the waves. She is watching as the water is moving back and forth hitting the sand. Emily feet are in the sand, kicking some of it in the air. She couldn't help the smile on her face almost acting like a big kid again. Then she got up and was walking to the edge of the beach. Watching as the waves hit her feet. She was enjoying the cool water of the salty water. Emily couldn't hope, but be happy for the future. Then she felt two arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Turning her head around to kiss her husband. Both of them are watching the sunset. Neither one was saying a word to one another. Both of them are just watching the waves together. Rick and Emily are walking side by side. Both of them are looking forward to their daughter wedding day. Emily was fixing her husband tie. Both of them are kissing each other deeply. Both of them are learning there heads against each other. He is running his hand up and down her arm. He is stroking his fingers against her arm. Both of them are looking at the wedding that they both helped Alexis with her wedding. Both of them are now holding each other hands. He kissed her forehead, she lay her head on Rick shoulder. "I'm very proud of you. You have done an amazing job at raising our children. Your the best husband anyone could asked for."
After their daughter wedding, Emily had gotten up was helping to clean up the wedding party. Rick comes out there to help her clean up. Both of them are finished with the clean up in less then three hours. Both of them are getting very tried after a long day of planning and cleaning up the party. After that they both go to bed, both of them are wrapped together in each other arms. Emily is laying her head on Rick shoulder and he wrap an arm around her shoulder.
Early the next morning
Emily, Rick, Emma and Sean are packing up the rest of their clothes and things up. The four of them are going on a three week vacation.
Back at the 12th precinct
Beckett was getting ready to go out with her boyfriend Steve. Both of them are going to together on a romantic getaway. Beckett was shutting down her computer. She got her things and was locking up her office for the night. She made back to her apartment and she got ready to go out with her boyfriend.
