Guest 2: Well, I'm sorry to hear that. But, that isn't the reason that I made these characters, it was just to see what and how a character could interact with the characters from a light novel that I've come to like after reading some of the stories that I read on this site. I like Issei as a character aside from the times where he can be overly perverted, but I just place some of the girls with the characters based on if they can match them, which was why I tend to keep Rias, Asia, and Akeno with him since I feel that the three make an amazing pair and Issei has more of a connection with them.

Evil God Rematch

It was time for their next fight against Loki at nighttime as all members of Lancelot, Gremory, and Vali Teams (not counting Le Fay) alongside Rossweisse, Tannin and Barakiel who was replacing Azazel. All of them had already gotten dressed within their respective combat uniforms feeling the cold air blowing in their direction. Every one of them was waiting in anticipation as the Evil God and his son were supposed to arrive to eliminate Odin.

No one was saying a single word as the collective members mentally prepared themselves for the upcoming fight for their lives and Odin's. Issei stood by in his group holding the Mjolnir Replica at his side, already well-versed in how it functions and was prepared to use it when the time was right.

"Lancelot, do you think that we could defeat this opponent?"

"Huh, where did that confidence of your go Xenovia," Lance questioned as he glanced in her direction with a slight smirk on his face before turning serious. "Well, we got the countermeasure against Fenrir prepared at least since he's the immediate problem to deal with. If things go without a hitch, then we could all team up against Loki as soon as we seal off Fenrir. God or not, even he won't be able to handle fighting this many people attacking him at once."

"But," Yumi spoke up next. "Didn't you mention that Fenrir has two sons who likely have the same fangs."

"I heard from Odin that neither of Fenrir's children should be on the same level as their father, but even then we have enough members to be able to split into groups to handle them without issues at all. If that occurs, then me, Ise-kun, and Vali will just focus on bringing down Loki."

"Lance-kun, you sound confident~"

Jeanne cheerfully said causing him to glance toward her direction as she sent him an equally cheerful smile.

"Yea, but to be honest I'm kinda getting nervous and at the same time excited about fighting against a god for the first time," Lance said honestly placing his hand at the back of his head. "But, I guess that I'm also a little curious about the 'help' that Vali said would arrive if anything happened."

Moments before leaving, Vali appeared in front of them and said:

'It looks like a colleague of ours contacted us and said that they'll assist us.'

'What colleague?'

Lance questioned Vali, but the silver-haired young man just smirked and said.

'He'd rather remain silent for now. Among that particular bunch, I'd say that he and his team are more tolerable.'

Vali didn't add on anything else after that and instead joined his team before all of them arrived at the appointed location where Loki would arrive. It was then that Vali smirked and looked forward in front of them, with several people realizing the presence as well.

"No tricks huh. You have my respect."

Break! Break! In front of them, the skies started to become distorted due to the space being altered until a giant hole was created before them. Appearing before them was Loki who wore a confident if not cocky smirk adorned on his face as he was accompanied by his son, Fenrir. At around the same time, Issei started the countdown for his balance breaker.

Barakiel placed his hand on his ear, where a small device meant for communication was located.

"Target confirmed. Mission start."

Barakiel spoke into the communication device.

Around them, a giant barrier-type magic circle was activated, the source came from the Sitri Team, all of which were hidden so that their presence wasn't noticed. Having witnessed this, Loki maintained the same smirk on his face not appearing as if he were going to resist in the slightest as all of them were covered in bright light and was soon transported to another location.

Before long, all of them arrived inside of a spacious field where there were several rocks, the location itself was an ancient mine.

"I take it that you're confident that you'll be able to defeat us then return to kill Odin."

"As smart as the rumors said," Loki replied to Lance. "I believed that you all would retaliate no matter what, but it doesn't matter. I can finish you all off here, then return to the hotel and claim Odin's head. Sooner or later. Even if he participates in the meeting or doesn't…I'll have Odin vanish from their world."

Loki was speaking in a tone that displayed his pure malice and intent in ending the life of Odin, which all of them felt in their spines.

"You are wrapped with dangerous thoughts."

Barakiel replied seeming prepared for a fight at any moment.

"The first ones to have dangerous ideas was your side," Loki retorted as if in an attempt to place blame. "I was surprised to hear that there was going to be an alliance between each faction. To begin with, since all the Three Great Powers recorded in the Bible decided to have an alliance, everything became distorted."

"Well, better there be an alliance where no more lives get sacrificed in meaningless battles, then having people a lot like you with nothing but disaster and chaos on their minds."

Once Lance said that he brought out the Avalon Drakon and brought it into its sword form, causing an aura to be placed around it. Barakiel at the same time had his hands covered in his famed holy lightning after realizing that Loki had nothing more to say to either of them.

"Looks like you have no intention to talk."

[Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker!]

[Vanishing Dragon Balance Breaker!]

Both Issei and Vali were covered in their bright red and white auras, then before long, the Dragon Emperors were adorned in their respective red and white armors. Befitting their status as the Sekiryuutei and Hakuryuukou, both released a strong presence that would make most foes quake. However, Loki became more ecstatic after seeing the two of them glare toward him.

"This is wonderful! So the Two Heavenly Dragons will be joining forces to defeat this Loki! My heart never raced like this!"

Instead of being frightened Loki showed even more of a savage smirk and Vali gave the evil god what he wanted then rushed toward him at high-speed while creating a trail of light. If Lance had to compare both Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing, then he would state that Boosted Gear granting greater offensive power, but at the cost of it potentially damaging the user if overused Divine Dividing, on the other hand, was a lot more balance in all traits, and the excess power would be released through the wings eliminating the threat of damaging himself.

Among the things, that Vali's Divine Dividing held over Boosted Gear was the high-speed flight capabilities, in which it granted him. Issei used the thrusters of Boosted Gear and propelled himself forward towards Loki. Finally, Lance who had been using magic instead of his wings to flight had following behind Vali and Issei, this was a method of flying he had gotten more comfortable to use at the moment.

"A combo assault between the Red and White Dragon joined with the Magic Knight," Loki once again laughed as Fenrir charged at the other people. "I'm the first one who gets to fight like this."

In response to the trios assault, Loki activated a wide-range defensive magic circle that spread outwards and out of the magic circles, countless numbers of magic light appeared from them turning into sashes released towards the three of them. In response to the magic sashes, Vali started flying around in an acrobatic manner through the usage of his light wing's flight capabilities avoiding each of the sashes aimed at him.

[Lance? Do you believe you can avoid all of them? You're not wearing armor like those two.]

"Heh. Let's find out."

In response to the several sashes approaching him at high speeds began roused up his emotions, thus resulting in a familiar sensation within himself causing both his eyes to shine a bright green color and his hair to turn into a lighter almost blonde for a second. Although it didn't last all that long, all the sashes approaching all him seemed to slow down a bit and Lance started flying around similarly to Vali avoiding the sashes without neither of them making contact with him.

Due to his personal experience and training over the summer, Lance had learned that War God was activated by and influenced due to intense emotions especially in intense situations. He couldn't help compare the sensation to an adrenaline rush and if he used it in quick situations like this, then it could be effective in avoiding attacks.

But, there was a drawback to using this in combat, which didn't take long for Lance to realize.

"I can't use both Avalon Syntax and War God at the same time," Lance stated in his head as his eyes returned to normal and his right eye turned green. "Since War God uses more intense emotions to fight in close combat and Avalon Syntax uses more intellect."

Lance stared at the defensive magic circles around Loki in an attempt to scan them, while infusing light into the Avalon Syntax causing a bright light that shined from its blade. At the same time, several of the magic sashes all aimed in his direction pierced through his armor, but he endured the pain and pressed forward.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!]

Issei continued boosting his power, causing a bright red aura to cover his entire body while bringing out his dragon wings, which were the result of him using Juggernaut Drive. All the red aura that he had gathered was all soon gathered around his fist and Issei aimed his fist forward and….

Through sheer strength alone, the defensive magic circles around Loki had been broken apart causing a reaction from the evil god. But, Issei couldn't relish in his success as there was an insane amount of silver demonic power that was gathered around Vali's hand alongside equations that seemed to be based around Norse Magic. This is the magic that Vali learned to prepare for a fight against Loki.

"As a start, here is my first move."

Without even waiting for Issei to clear from the area around Loki, Vali released all the demonic power toward the evil god causing an enormous explosion. Amidst the explosion of demonic power, which covered one-third of the abandoned mine, Issei was able to escape from it before getting involved in the assault.

"What the hell, Vali?!"

Those were the words that entered Issei's mind as he witnessed his rival attacking Loki at the same moment that he managed to break his defenses without warning him first. As soon as the attack ended, in place of the ground, there was a bottomless hole made where Loki had been floating. Issei looked at the entire incident stumped after witnessing the power that his rival wielded and it surprised and somewhat terrified him.

"Fuhahahaha!"

Loki came out from the assault with his robes all torn from the assault, but he didn't seem to be damaged from it in the slightest. After witnessing the assault Issei realized that their even opponent wasn't normal and was even on another level compared to them.

"If it was me or anyone else that demonic blast should have almost killed them or even on the brink of death. It may be a little bit early to use this, but what other choice do we have."

"…Mjölnir," Loki for the first time seemed angered after witnessing the weapon. "No, the replica? Even so, you're are carrying a dangerous weapon there. Damn Odin, does he want to make the meeting successful that much!?"

Loki seemed more determined to kill them and pointed his hand toward Issei in an attempt to attack him, but the sudden illumination of light caught his attention. He turned his head toward the direction and witnessed Lance in pursuit of him, but that wasn't the first thing that he saw. In Lance's hand was the Avalon Heroic Sword, but there was an incredible amount of light being channeled into it to the point where an enormous blade of light extended from it measuring 15-meters in length.

"Heaven's Blade Art – Nimbus Blade!"

Lance shouted as he slashed his sword towards Loki who raised another defensive magic circle to block it, but it caused a smirk to appear on Lance's mouth. As soon as the Nimbus Blade came into contact with the barrier that Loki creating, it started cutting through it causing a sudden reaction from the evil god.

"I forgot to mention that the Avalon Heroic Sword can cut through magic and I already saw through that barrier."

Lance said with his right eye glowing green revealing that he already used the Avalon Syntax to scan the barrier-type magic circle beforehand. After the Nimbus Blade came into contact with Loki it caused his body to be sent a distance away from Issei with his robes becoming more and more damaged, but there didn't seem to be barely a single wound on him.

"Sheesh, I can tell Loki is a Wizard-Type, but he's more durable than one," Lance stated as he continued striking the Evil God using the Nimbus Blade. "I guess that's the benefits of having godly physiology, if that last demonic blast from Vali didn't affect him at all then we need something more that could affect him. This might be a little bit difficult, but I might as well attempt it."

Lance felt the Avalon Heroic Sword in his hands, then the light in his hand started shining, but instead of getting larger, the light extending the blade instead shrunk. No, it instead started to compress around the blade to where it was one-fourth of its original size.

No, it started compressing around the blade to the point of it being one-fourth of its original size and Lance began rushing at Loki releasing fast slashes at the evil god who continued to create multiple defensive magic circles, but all of them were sliced through. Lance managed to get one slash on Loki hitting him in his arm and managed to get at least a scrape on him. At the same time, Issei was prepared to use Mjölnir channeling demonic power in it resulting in it growing into a convenient and manageable height. But, even in balance breaker, Issei was barely able to wield it.

Not wasting time thinking about it, Issei lifted the hammer in a position prepared to bring it down after he propelled himself behind Loki who was moving from Lance. Loki attempted to escape from the assault, but Lance made the Nimbus Blade vanish and turned the blade black and instead used Heaven's Blade Art – Tensor Blade Dance to send Loki toward Issei using the gravitational force. At the same time, Issei brought down Mjölnir aimed at the evil god with the intent of using the lightning housed within it to defeat him.

"Tch!"

Loki prepared high-ranking defensive magic-circles that spread outwards to defend against the lightning, but the hammer slammed against the defensive magic circles and….

"What?"

Instead of lightning, there was just a normal sound that echoed across the area, which caused a surprising look to appear on their faces. Issei was stomped about how lightning didn't come out of Mjölnir and wondered if he'd did something wrong about using it.

"Fuhahaha," Loki laughed after seeing that and floated higher into the skies. "It's unfortunate, but Mjölnir can only be wielded by someone with a strong and pure heart. That means you must have some evil feelings inside your heart, which is why it doesn't create lightning. I've never seen it used before, but I heard that when wielded right, it doesn't have weight and is as light as a feather, you know."

"…!"

Issei moved from Loki after hearing that explanation and returned Mjölnir to its regular size while floating next to Lance who stood prepared.

"So, what're we going to do now?"

"Well, we still have Plan B. And I have another card to play," Lance stated not mentioning the fact that their group had Gleipnir, which was modified using the techniques of the Dark Elves. "I didn't think that Mjölnir wouldn't work like that since it'd been modified with help from Barakiel who's proficient in lightning. I wonder what happened? Is it due to some evil within your heart."

"…you just thought it had to do with me being obsessed with breasts, did you?"

"I was thinking about something else," Lance replied honestly. "But, it would be that too."

"It's about time that I start to attack seriously then!"

"You were the one who brought it up."

Loki declared snapping his fingers causing Fenrir who had been sitting down and observing until this point to get back onto his feet and howled.

"The fangs which can kill God," Loki declared looking toward them. "My servant Fenrir who has such fang! You'll all meet your demise even with a single bite! If you two can defeat this beast, then come and get it!"

"Nyan~"

The moment that Fenrir showed the simplest movement to attack, Kuroka activated several magic circles around her and several thick chains came out from them, which were the magical chains, Gleipnir. Several people such as Barakiel, Tannin, Arthur, Bikou, and the other members from the teams grabbed onto the chains and threw all of them towards Fenrir. As if having a mind of their own, the magical chains moved towards Fenrir and started to wrap around the monstrous wolf. After witnessing this familiar sight, Loki laughed.

"Fuhahahahaha! It's useless! Countermeasures against Gleipnir were already…."

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…!"

Fenrir howled loudly out of pain, which echoed across the area and Gleipnir brought Fenrir down motionless.

"Fenrir captured."

Barakiel said much to Loki's dismay and anger.

Though Loki witnessed his trump card and stronger creature motionless, he instead let out a laugh setting a hand on his forehead.

"Their specs are lower, but…."

Having said those words, Loki caused the space around him to become distorted and two figures appeared next to him similar to the monstrous wolf that they had just captured without much emotions in their eyes.

"Sköll! Hati!"

""OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!""

Together, both Sköll and Hati let out a monstrous howl, which echoed across the location. Although, it wasn't as much as a shock since Lance had informed them about the possible existence of Fenrir's sons.

"I changed a jötunn woman living in Járnviðr to a wolf and made it breed with Fenrir," Loki informed them all with a snide look on his face. "As a result, these two were born. Their specs are quite a bit lower than their father, but their fangs are the real thing. They can easily kill a God, and all of you."

Loki then pointed his hands towards all of them with his ever so confident expression.

"Go, Sköll and Hati! That bunch is the people who have captured your father! Go tear and rip them apart with using those claws and fangs of yours!"

SWISH!

Accompanied by the sound of the wind, both Hati and Sköll had rushed towards them, splitting off toward the teams with the intent of killing them. In response to this, Tannin responded immediately.

"Hmph! A mere dog!"

GOOOOOOOON!

Tannin inhaled a large breath before spewing out powerful flames toward Hati who came towards him covering it entirely. However, Hati continued rushing through the flames as if it wasn't affected at all causing the people who were around them to understand the threat that these creatures posed. Issei glanced toward his friends who were facing off against Hati, but soon enough a voice called out to him.

"Issei, focus on the opponent in front of you instead of the one everyone is facing!"

After hearing that from Lance, Issei turned around where he realized Loki had released a massive magical attack toward him. Although he managed to avoid the attack, the magical attack grazed his armor but was still enough to wipe out a portion of his armor. Lance started creating numerous large light spears with various formulas being around them before launching them toward Loki, who either avoiding them or creating defensive magic circles. In any situation that Loki managed to avoid them, Lance changed the direction of the light spear causing them to hit Loki causing an explosion of light.

"…I won't be able to activate the power to halve if my opponent is a God-Class. So I will have myself reduce your power slowly!"

After declaring that, Vali released several demonic blasts mixed with norse magic formulas toward Loki, but a lot of them were wiped out by the larger magical attack from the Norse God. All of the demonic attacks that were still there, on the other hand, made contact with Loki causing some damage, but it wasn't too much.

"To be expected from the Hakuryuukou! I find it admirable that you've learned norse magic in such a short time, but it's still not enough!"

After declaring that out loud, Loki pointed his hand towards Vali releasing a wave of magic power, which glowed with various colors akin to a rainbow. Instead of avoiding it Vali took the attack head-on and made his light wings grow outward, then placed his hands forward.

[Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide! Divide!]

Without the need to made physical contact with the magic attack, Vali still managed to divide it using the famed power of his Longinus. After doing that, Vali looked at his hands and let a slight breath escape from his mouth as if he was amused by something.

"It appears that I can use my halving abilities without touching it if it's an attack like this, but doing this consumes a lot out of me."

This was an applied technique originating from "Half Dimension", which could half his actual surroundings without needing to touch them. But, the magic attacks from Loki continued destroying pieces of his scale mail armor, which Vali soon repaired. In response to that, Lance looked towards Loki activating a magic circle underneath his feet causing the norse god to click his tongue as he felt pressure coming down on top of him.

"Tch, this pressure if gravitational magic!"

Loki found himself being brought down by the gravitational pressure, but he was still attempting to make a move and was met with a bright light shined in front of him. Lance held out his hand creating an enormous light spear, which seemed bigger than the one that Kokabiel created and focused the Avalon Syntax on it. And lightning had started to spread across the lightning spear and soon formed together with it forming holy lightning.

"Not, on the same level as Barakiel, but it's something that I can manage," Lance said as norse formulas started to form around the lightning spear similar to what Vali had done before and started to compress the spear into a far more compressed form. "It's not divine lightning, but here comes a Heavenly Lightning Spear!"

Lance released the lightning spear toward Loki who managed to free himself from the gravitational bindings, but he was soon met with an explosion of lightning that spread outwards in a mass explosion, with Loki being at the epicenter. Once the smoke cleared, it showed that Loki's clothes couldn't be classed as such anymore revealing some of his upper body and little injuries caused by that last assault. Without skipping a beat, Issei activated his Boosted Gear to the limit.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!]

"Goooooooooooooooo!"

Issei shouted in a strong tone releasing his Super Dragon Shot toward Loki who had just been struck by Lance's 'Heavenly Lightning Spear', but he held out his hand activating a magical circle in front of caused the space to be distorted at the same time that Issei's Dragon Shot was going to strike him. The Dragon Shot was then redirected toward Vali who avoided it without trouble, but Lance soon stood in front of it holding the Avalon Heroic Sword in his hand almost like a baseball bat.

"Here it comes Loki!"

Smack! Lance directed the Dragon Shot toward Loki who seemed almost stunned about the redirection resulting in him being struck.

[Lance, this has got to be the craziest thing that you've ever done.]

"No, I'm sure I'll do something crazier in the future."

Lance replied to Avon in a joking manner but stopped after realizing that Loki had red smoke coming from him.

"Fuhahahaha," Loki started laughing out loud. "The Hakuryuukou has more proficient strength. The Magic Knight appears to be in a similar league and appear to have a better handle on using norse magic. And the Sekiryuutei has an intense spirit in all his attacks despite not having techniques, but I still can't take you likely. Hmmm, amazing! A blow that is filled with spirit rings a bell to people's hearts. Just how much feeling did you put in that previous attack just now?"

Loki seemed more amused as he continued to face off against these three.

"It doesn't seem like we're doing that much damage to him even together."

"Well, we are up against a god. And most of the opponents we've faced were either High-Class or Ultimate-Class Devils at most. Well, not counting that Beelzebub descendant you defeated using Juggernaut Drive."

"It just means that this fight won't end up being boring."

"Rather than the Hakuryuukou and Magic Knight who moves at high speed or can negate my attacks. I'll be a lot easier to capture the Sekiryuutei! If you were to transfer your multiplied power, it would be just bothersome! And that's why I will kill you first!"

Loki said something as if reading the next intentions of Issei, but Vali took that as a serious insult as proven due to the hostile aura around him at the moment.

"Ignoring me is something I can't accept."

Vali rushed toward Loki and moved behind him at speeds greater than he had used before forming an enormous amount of demonic power created than he had used before. In the next seconds, a magic circle appeared next to his ear and an argent call from Xenovia came to him.

[Lancelot things over here ended up going wrong!]

"Huh, what happened?"

The moment that question left his mouth, Lance received his answer as a familiar and dreadful presence came in view as the white armor Vali had adorned had been pierced. And the assailant being Fenrir who had managed to escape the bindings of Gleipnir.

"Guhaa!"

Vali spat out blood as he felt the god-killing fangs of Fenrir piercing his armor and penetrating his flesh which had caused a shocked expression to appear on the faces of those around them.

"Fuhahahaha! Looks like I have the Hakuryuukou crunched first!"

Loki laughed loudly.

""Vali.""

"…Vali-oniisan!"

Lance and Issei alongside Yuuma who had been fighting against Sköll together with the Vali Team called out due to the shock of the situation.

[Lancelot, I'm sorry. We believed that Hati was attempting to escape from our attacks, but he was escaping in an attempt to rescue his father. What's the plan now?]

"We still have Gleipnir, meaning that we can just bind Fenrir again somehow. All of you just be concerned about fighting against Hati."

"Vali!"

"Issei, wait!"

Issei rushed toward Vali in an attempt to rescue him, ignoring the warning from and continued to charge towards Fenrir aiming a punch toward his nose. However, before his punch could make contact with Fenrir, the wolf was able to land an attack first breaking through Issei's scale mail armor causing blood to spill out from his mouth. In an attempt to assist both of them Lance flew at high-speeds toward the two of them with Tannin rushed at the same time.

"Ngh! I won't let you take down those two!"

Tannin stopped for a moment, filling his stomach with air before releasing an enormous fireball that held intense heat and mass. Fenrir showed no attempt at running from the assault and instead stood tall in front of the former Dragon King and inhaled hair.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!"

Fenrir let out a loud and beautiful howl that had enough pressure behind it to eliminate the fireball that had been launched at him, which sparked shock from the people there. Fenrir later vanished from sight and rushed toward Tannin at a greater speed than what was seen the other day and….

"Guoooooooooo!"

Tannin screamed as Fenrir slashed him across the chest causing blood to seep from the wound, which sparked a reaction from Issei who viewed the former Dragon King as his important benefactor. Although, the wound didn't remain as Tannin seemed to have bitten onto something located at his back tooth and swallowed something that caused his wounds to heal. A lot of the people fighting were given at least a bottle of Phoenix Tears for this fight, while the vanguards were given more due to the opponents they were all facing. Issei had used one of his to heal the slash caused by Fenrir. Everyone was becoming more and more desperate to win this fight with all their chances of winning dropping by the moment.

"On the occasion, I will have you fight against these as well."

To make matters worse, Loki caused the shadows underneath him to extend outwards resulting in several beings with giant bodies to appear. All of them were dragons that people who saw him before were surprised about.

"Well, I can at least compliment his preparedness."

"So you even mass-produced Midgardsormr!"

Lance and Tannin commented as he looked at the several replicas of Midgardsormr that Loki created totaling in fives of them, but neither of them was the same size as the original and were more around Tannin's size. All the mass-produced Midgardsormr breathed fire toward them, but Tannin seemed more annoyed than worried and at a moment's notice breath a fireball toward them wiping out their joined fireballs.

"You won't be able to take me down with something like this!"

"Alright, things are starting to pick up," Lance said as he contacted four people. [Yumi, Jeanne, Rossweisse, and Tannin can all the mass-produced dragons and leave the others to fight against Hati and Sköll. I doubt that Loki will make a move now that Fenrir is back.]

[[[[Alright!]]]]

All four of them agreed and went to face off against the five mass-produced Midgardsormr, Rossweisse using her magic, Tannin using his wings, and Jeanne riding on top of her dragon with Yumi all of them flew toward the five mass-produced Midgardsormr.

Meanwhile, the Gremory Team joined with Barakiel, Xenovia, Irina, and Percy were facing off against Hati. In the skies, there were several thunderclouds created by the experienced Cadre Fallen Angel, who then brought down an enormous strike of holy lightning that has ten times the output of Akeno's. Despite Hati receiving damage due to all the attacks aimed at him, he continued to fight through them undeterred, Hati and Sköll's combat instincts far surpassed anyone they've fought before and even theirs.

"Don't take lightly my training with the Sekiryuutei!"

Kiba declared as he rushed towards jumping forward and slashing his holy demonic sword aimed at his forehead causing a serious wound. Van followed behind him slashing Muramasa, while wielding Murasame alongside it to decrease the strain, launching a slash at the side of Hati's arm. Xenovia soon followed up wielding both Durandal and Ascalon, which she borrowed from Issei, letting Xenovia dual-wield both holy swords.

However, Hati who read her actions aimed his claws toward her, but soon found a long rope wrapped around his arm stopping his arm for a moment. It was then that it was discovered that Irina changed Excalibur Mimic into a rope, which was pulled by both herself and Percy. This allowed Xenovia to launch a series of powerful slashes at the somewhat detained monstrous wolf.

"Gasper! Blind its eyes! Koneko, you use that chance to punch it using the senjutsu anywhere on its body!"

Rias gave overs to her Bishop and Rook, the latter turned to several bats and flapped aimlessly around the eyes obscuring his vision. At the same time, Koneko began punching Hati at several places using senjutsu to lower his ki as much as possible, with the chances of lowering his defenses. The four swordsman wielding special blades continued their assault on Hati leaving several wounds joined with Percy wielding a light sword.

"Alright, let's go!"

Xenovia said energetically, wielding both Durandal and Ascalon at the same time, bringing out an enormous aura from both blades. At the same time, all the people striking Hati moved aside as Xenovia released the enormous aura at Hati leaving a deep wound.

"No, we start from here!"

Kiba stabbed his holy demonic sword into the ground, causing several more to spring up from underneath Hati's feet and pinning him to the ground. Akeno followed bringing down more holy lightning onto the wolf. Their teamwork makes it possible for them to deal with this kind of damage to one of Fenrir's children.

During their fight against the five mass-produced Midgardsormr, Rossweisse had been using her norse magic to support Tannin, Yumi, and Jeanne. The former Dragon King released several fireballs toward the dragon clones causing an explosion that sent them back without resistance, Yumi utilized Jeanne's Victim Stake Dragon as a foothold as she propelled herself toward one of the dragon clones releasing a slash of wind toward his neck causing a deep wound. She then started running along the serpentine body of the dragon releasing several slashes aimed at its body.

But, another one glanced toward her direction and was prepared to release a fireball towards her, but stopped as several magic bullets fell like raindrops sending it toward the ground.

"I won't let you!"

Rossweisse continued with the assault, while after making a magic circle for Yumi to use as a foothold so that she could continue with her attack on them.

"Let's go Dragon-chan~!"

Jeanne called out cheerfully as the Victim Stake Dragon started releasing elemental breaths from her mouth at a mass-produced Midgardsormr.

"Heal! And also for you!"

In the skies, Asia rode on top of Arion, Percy's Pegasus joined with Ariel who acted as her bodyguard if anyone attempted to assault their group's healer. Although the group did have Phenex Tears, their numbers were limited and it didn't mean that they wouldn't run out. Asia became an important lifeline for the people around her, but she had her limits with both stamina and mental fatigue due to using her sacred gear too much. However, for all their sake, Asia continued forward with healing them.

On the other battlefield, the Vali Team joined alongside Yuuma was fighting against Sköll, Bikou using his Ruyi Jingu Bang started striking the monstrous wolf several times causing damage, while he danced around the wolf's swiping claws. Bikou later spun around his staff and pointed it toward the skies.

"Get bigger, Ruyi Jingu Bang!"

With that command, Ruyi Jingu Bang extended outwards and enlarged, then was brought down on top of Sköll's head causing a notable impact that stuns him.

"Nyahahaha~ I will seal your movements then."

Kuroka made several symbols using her hands and performed a jutsu, which caused the ground underneath the wolf to turn into mud and resulted in him being trapped. Yuuma, who activated her balance breaker remained in the air creating an enormous orb of lightning in her hands and unleashed it onto Sköll releasing azure lightning.

"To begin with, I will take one of your eyes."

A blonde-haired gentleman soon started to approach Sköll wielding Caliburn, it was Arthur who fixed his glasses as he swiped his sword slashing Sköll's right eye causing the wolf to scream.

"Your claws are next."

Arthur soon slashed his sword again cutting off its front claws from off their base in a clean-cut manner without a hint of fault in his motions. Despite the brutality of the attacks and aura radiating from the Strongest Holy Sword, there wasn't a single hint of malice or killing intent radiating from Arthur's eyes or body. His attention later went to Sköll's fangs, which were like his father.

"And now, for those dangerous fangs! If it's this Holy-King sword Caliburn, it should be able to wipe a mere child of Fenrir along with the dimension!"

Arthur stated as the air—no space around Caliburn's blade started to vibrate and he started slicing off the fangs of Sköll who was helpless in the face of this group strength. This caused Issei who had been looking at the entire situation to become stumped.

"Heaven's Blade Art – Blaze Edge."

Lance wielding the Avalon Heroic Sword infused holy flames into it causing flames to be coated around the blade and aimed a slash carefully towards Fenrir's mouth. Anticipating the assault, Fenrir aimed his claws towards him in an attempt to slash him, but Lance repositioned himself in the air to avoid a fatal strike. However, he still ended up gaining a deep slash on his left shoulder, which caused him to swing the sword by using his right arm getting a cut on Fenrir, but the damage being superficial.

"Of course, their father would be far more durable if his children could walk through the flame of a former Dragon King unscathed," Lance said in an attempt to think of a plan. "I'm not attempting to wound Fenrir, but I want to at least get Vali outside of his mouth. I can't use gravity magic to make him heavier since that might just end up with Fenrir closing his mouth."

As Lance continued to think about something, Issei started aiming several small-scale dragon shots towards the monstrous wolf so that he wouldn't end up hitting Vali.

"…Hyoudou Issei. Lance."

Issei and Lance heard Vali calling out their names and witnessed him glancing toward him, with one side of his helmet broken apart releasing his left eye. Despite being chomped on by the God-Devouring Wolf, Vali remained his usual strength and fighting spirit.

"…Loki and the other ones…I will leave them to you, Bikou, and others."

"Well, if he's saying that then I won't doubt that."

Lance said wearing a smirk on his face, but Loki instead laughed.

"Fenrir. I will kill it."

"Fuhahahahahahaha! How would you do that!? You are already on the verge of death! Won't acting strong just lower the name of Hakuryuukou instead?"

"Heavenly Dragon. No, don't look down on me, Vali Lucifer."

Chill! Vali glared towards Loki using an expression and intense presence, which sent a chill down Issei's spine despite him not even looking in his direction. Even Loki felt a slight chill running up his back for a moment as an intense bright aura started being emitted from Vali's Divine Dividing Scale Mail.

"Well, he's going to use it."

"I, the one to awaken."

{They are going to be blasted away!}{They certainly are going to be blasted away!}

"Am the Heavenly Dragon who has taken the principles of supremacy from God."

{The dream will end!}{The illusion will begin!}

"I envy the infinite, and I pursue the dream."

{Everything!}{Yes, give us everything!}

"I shall become the White Dragon of Supremacy."

Vali proceeded to the final verse of this Forbidden Technique, which has left those who have held the Heavenly Dragons to the brink of despair.

"And I shall lure you to the utmost purity!"

[Juggernaut Drive!]

The entire abandoned mining ground was enlightened by the bright light radiating from Vali caused those around him to cover their eyes. The overwhelming power alone caused the people around him to become overwhelmed by their senses.

"Kuroka! Transfer me and Fenrir to the allocated place!"

"Hah, did he plan this?"

Lance wondered after hearing the 'allocated' place, which Kuroka did direct her hands toward Vali as his scale mail armor started to enlarge and shift into a different form compared to before. Along with the space around the two, the magical chains were also teleported alongside Vali who was using Juggernaut Drive and Fenrir.

"Akeno!"

After hearing Rias' voice, Issei turned his head toward his friends, then turned to see that Hati was preparing to bite Akeno. It sparked an immediate reaction from Issei who flew towards her ignoring the fact that Loki had been prepared to act again no that Fenrir was gone.

[Jet!]

Issei activated his boosters flying towards them at high-speeds.

"You are full of openings!"

Loki released a massive magic attack toward Issei who turned his back toward him but was stopped as several defensive barriers were creating blocking the assault and even directed it towards him.

"Tch!"

Loki created defensive magic circles, which blocked his assault and glanced towards the one responsible.

"I'm not letting you kill Ise-kun."

Lance said defensively holding the Avalon Heroic Sword, using the blade to create barriers to defend against the magic.

"You're not taking him down Loki!"

"He's right!"

Both Tannin and Rossweisse who ended their fights with the five mass-produced Midgardsormr joined Lance as soon as Issei had left the battlefield. Yumi and Jeanne left to assist the Gremory Team in fighting against Hati.

Issei continued charging at high-speed towards Akeno who was being attacked by Hati, but he couldn't make it in time as he witnessed that someone had been bitten.

"Gough!"

It wasn't Akeno, but it was Barakiel who stepped in the way and took the attack for his daughter. After seeing that the person she had refused to call her father stepping in the path of the attack, Akeno stared at Barakiel stumped as tears leaked from her eyes.

"…Why?"

"…I can't afford to lose you as well."

"Let him go!"

Issei shouted as he punched Hati in the side of his fist using his aura-covered fist, then he caught Barakiel by his arm before he could hit the ground. Due to this, Barakiel was able to sit on the ground without falling hard but the wound that he received was still deep.

"Asia!"

After hearing her name being called by him, Asia sent a green healing aura towards Barakiel causing his wounds to be healed slowly, but it'll be difficult for him to return to the fight. Akeno stared at the situation unable to get a handle of herself after seeing Barakiel being wounded protected her, but this caused Issei to realize that she was deeply conflicted within about her feelings.

"…I…I!"

"…Get a hold of yourself, Akeno. The battle hasn't ended yet."

Barakiel said in a tone that a true parent would say to their child in a tense situation.

It was then that Issei made a decision to figure out the pain and conflict within Akeno, using his 'Bilingual' to get a better read about her causing a field to appear around her, but was confused about the reason why her breasts were glowing instead.

"What're we going to do, Lancelot?"

"I'm thinking about that, but it appears that Ise-kun is doing something with Akeno-san," Lance said thinking of a plan before a magic circle appeared beside his ear. "Hello?"

[Lancelot, our colleague said that he's prepared to act. But, there's a condition.]

Lance heard Arthur speaking to him through the magic circle and recalled what Vali told him before the fight.

'It looks like a colleague of ours contacted us and said that they'll assist us.'

"Alright, what's the condition?"

[He has something that will bind Loki for a little while, but it'll be easier if Loki is wounded first.]

"Oh, that's it. I think that I can pull something off."

[Alright, good luck.]

After the magic circle vanished, Lance glance toward Tannin and Rossweisse with a renewed confident look.

"Tannin, Rossweisse. Can you two buy me a couple of minutes?"

"Hmm, I believe so."

"I can do the best I can," Rossweisse replied but was curious about his plan. "What're you planning?"

"Plan C."

Lance replied putting the Avalon Heroic Sword into its default mode at his side and pointed his hand towards Loki as magic power started to manifest from him and the Avalon Syntax manifested in his right eye.

"If this spell doesn't do something against Loki then nothing can."

A/N: And there goes chapter forty-four of The Magic Knight, it has been a long time since I had last updated this. It showed their fight against Loki, Fenrir, Sköll, and Hati, but decided to split it into two parts instead of one since it would have been longer than normal. And it showed just how much the group could fight against their opponents.

I can also understand a lot of issues that some people have with The Magic Knight since there are a lot of inconstancies and I understand since it was one of my first stories around DxD. I improved writing a lot since both The Twin Dragons and DxD - The Last Amagiri has a lot more depth and flow in comparison to The Magic Knight, which was one of my first and I tried to do a lot of things.

Someone in the previous reviews in chapter 36 said that I would do a story about RWBY where the OC has silver eyes and I thought about it.What do all of you think? If everyone likes the idea, then please leave your opinions in the reviews or even message me in the PMs. I also thought about four different semblances that the OC could have and will create a poll.
