She's right. I can't be a Guardian, I can barely protect the forest, let alone children.

"You don't hurt people, you're meant to help people!"

I would never hurt you Sophie, I would never want to see you in any pain. For that one year that you believed in me, I felt like I found something to move onto, after what happened to Ami. I could make you smile, and you would do the same. Sophie, I love you so much. I thought for a second you could see me, that you could remember me, but, it seems like it was wrong.

"I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

But, since you met the Guardians, you have a different reason to smile, a different magic to smile at. But I lost mine. I lost you Sophie, and I was desprate to get you back, but every time i grew a flower for you from the ground, you thought Aster had come to visit you.

You just forgot about me, and I lost my reason to smile...and now...why should I? I didn't mind being forgotten by you, because I knew that deep down you still believed in me, even if your eyes don't show you. But, now, I don't feel like I believe in myself anymore...

I took myself to the first place i remember waking up, waking up as Mother Nature. There was a stone table, in the middle of the woods, with small engravings decorating the side.

When I woke up, I had my bow resting across my chest, and there was no sign of anyone. I came to this very spot when I felt alone, or sad...even scared. Although now, I don't know how I feel...

...

It was a fresh spring morning, just as the sun was melting off the last remaining bits of snow, leaving in its place beautiful flowers.

I found Sophie playing in her garden, laughing, smiling, although on her own, it wasn't unusual. She sat in the flowers, jumping around, avoiding any sort of flower patch, just as I taught her.

It brought a sweet smile to my face, watching her being so happy. "What's got you so happy?" I laugh to my little believer. Another laugh escaped her lips as I noticed the plus bunny in her hand.

That was strange, what happened to her fairy doll? She never went anywhere without it, and her wings? She loved wearing her fairy wings. She loved fairies, and almost never went anywhere without either...so why? "Sophie? Where's your dolly?" I ask her, but she doesn't seem to hear me.

"Bunny! Hop hop!" She bounced around, laughing.

"Sophie?" I question, but she once again seems to ignore me.

No, please no. Not my Sophie, please don't let this be happening, this cant be happening!

"Hop hop! Bunny hop!" The little two year old ran around gleefully cheering.

I crouched down, feeling weak in the knees, with a heavy beating heart. "Sophie, look!" I say, and grow a white little out of the ground, which caught her attention. That smile widened on her face, if that was even possible, and she ran straight to me. "Oh thank god..." I mutter and she began to wildly look around.

"Bunny?" Wide eyes scanning every nook and cranny of the back yard, before turning down to the flower and pointing at it, "BUNNY?! BUNNY BUNNY!" She bounced up and down, not once making eye contact with me.

"Sophie no..." I whisper, holding my hand around my necklace. "No please..." Small tears formed in the corner of my eye.

Thundering footsteps from the back porch caught Sophie's and I's attention, it was her brother, Jamie. The excitement was so easy to read on his face, and the hope was clear as day. "Is he here Soph? Is the Easter Bunny here?" He excitedly shouts.

Sophie, with a bright smile, ran to her brother, greeting him with big hug...she ran straight through me...

And my heat skipped a beat, when the realisation dawned on me...she's forgotten. I knew something like that would happen. I made sure she was safe when she visited the warren, but left when the guardians showed up, knowing that they'd look after her, so I checked on other children, trying to help with their nightmares.

I didn't think...I didn't think that Sophie would forget about me...I shouldn't have left her...she wouldn't have forgotten me...

"No...NO! SOPHIE!" I screamed, as tears began to roll down my cheeks. "Please...don't leave me alone..." I had to shut my eyes, I couldn't take it anymore.

The sound of her laughing began to ring through my ears, as if to laugh at my pain. "I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

"I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

...Sophie...no

"I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

...Stop it...please...

"I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

...Leave me alone...

"I'm glad people don't believe in you!"

...I'm scared...
