Chapter 5 - Take my hand, close your eyes, With you right here, I'm a rocketeer
Two years later, Hawks and Ravena still lived in the same condominium at Hawks' agency. They were always hanging out with each other, went on the team-up missions, shopping, and everything in normal routines. However, they didn't have the right time to confess their feelings because of their work as pro-heroes. Hawks focused on rescuing people and Ravena went to college for studying Botany in a 4-year course and hunted villains at night as a part-timer. And so, Hawks made an idea for the right moment. Tonight, it was a charity ball for celebrating the Pro-Heroes' Anniversary and giving rewards for the Top 10 of The Hero Billboard Chart JP. All pro-heroes invited to the ball. Everyone wore elegant and fashionable tuxedoes and long gowns.
"Ah! This place is like a ballroom of 'The Beauty and the Beast'. I'm very flustered that the HPSC chose this place," All Might amazed as he wore a blue tuxedo, white polo shirt, red bowtie, and black shoes.
Endeavor scoffed as he folded his arms to his chest. He wore a black tuxedo with a red vest, necktie, and black leather shoes. "Why do you need to celebrate this event, even there are villains out there?"
"Relax, Endeavor. You can take a break for a while. Besides, Hawks did the same as well. Right, Hawks?" All Might asked with a smile. "Huh? Hawks?"
Hawks was dashing in his black tuxedo with yellow tailcoat, white polo shirt, golden necktie, and black leather shoes. He had a three-feather pin in yellow, orange, and red. He wasn't paying attention to All Might or Endeavor.
"Yoo-hoo! Calling Hawks?"
"Oh!" Hawks surprised as he looked at All Might. "Sorry about that, All Might-san. I was looking for Ravena," he smiled.
"Oh! Ven?! I'm glad she was invited to the party. I wonder where is she. Ah! How about flying from above? It is way easier than the below," All Might suggested.
"Good idea-"
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Pro-Heroes' Anniversary Ball! We celebrate this year and give rewards to the Top 10 heroes. But first, the opening ceremony will sing by Tyronica Nightgale. Let's give a round the applause!" the announcer cheered as everyone clapped their hands and the lights went out.
The spotlight shined on the girl who had long, wavy, pink hair, her eyes were heterochromia of purple and green, pure white cocktail dress with pearl jewelry and silver shoes. The music played as she started to sing.

Hawks felt the vibration from his wings. He found the lead as he saw Ravena argued with a female pro-heroine with peacock feathers and sparkling dress. Her name was Minikui Meinu AKA Pretty Feather. She was a pro-heroine with beauty but not interest in saving ugly people. Hawks teamed up with her last month. However, he didn't want to do it with her because she wasn't responsible, disrespectful behaviors, and flirted him a lot as she begged him for the date with her as he denied it.

"I tried to call him but he won't answer because you," Minikui blamed and pointed the finger at Ravena.
"Bitch, please. He did that because you weren't a big help in your rescue mission with him. He and I saw and found your bad reputation from the hero blog with a lot of hate comments. Now, you're a stalker and making lovesick craze for Hawks. How about learning your mistakes, atoning your sins, and move one? Or else, you might take a wrong-Oh my god! Hawks?!" Ravena was shocked that Minikui tried to slap her but instead Hawks was slapped by Minikui as he protected Ravena.

Minikui gasped. "Oh gosh! I'm sorry, Hawks. Here, let me-Ah!" she panicked as Hawks kissed Ravena on the lips. Ravena's eyes widened open.

Hawks carried Ravena and flew away to the open window, leaving Minikui dumbfounded. All the people gave applause to Tyronica. While Hawks flew to the night sky with Ravena, he blushed that Ravena was like a princess in a red and black ball gown with black vine designs, ribbon with butterfly patterns on the waistline and red sandals with heels. Her hair tied into a bun with a small, black veil and silver crown with red gems. As well as she looked stunning with the blossom makeup. "Ven, you're beau-"
"Ay naku! Bakit hindi mo sinabi na hahalik mo ko agad?! Hmmmmm! Nahiya ako eeeeeeeh?! (Ay naku! Why you didn't tell me that you kiss me?! Hmmmmm! I'm so embarrassed, eeeeeeeh?!)" Ravena whined as she covered her blushing face.
Hawks chuckled nervously. "I'm sorry, Ven. Can't help it. I don't want you to get bitch slap by that bitch. All my fans are cool but a yandere like her is horrible," he said while flying and carrying her.
"Um… Should we go back to the ball? I mean, you are the part of top 10," Ravena asked as she hugged him.
"Nope, I already donated the money to the charity ball for fosters' home and I accidentally heard from the HPSC that I'm on the top 7," Hawks answered as he flew into the balcony with the garden. He landed on the marble floor as he put Ravena down gently.
"Really? We should head…" Ravena looked around as the lights turned on. She was amazed to see a magnificent garden of colorful lilies. A table with a griller, a cooler for the marinated meats, a basket of vegetables and fruits, the bottles of champagne and water on the ice bucket, and two chairs. "Keigo, are we on a date?"
"Maybe… Let's eat," Hawks said cheerfully.
"Eh? This early… Well, okay," Ravena blinked in confusion. She was grabbing her seat but Hawks came in first as he gently moved the chair and let her sit like a gentleman. Ravena sat down on the chair.
Hawks sat on his chair as he put a few charcoals into the griller, using a tong to avoid the mess on his hands and lightened it on with his lighter. As the griller started to heat up, they put the meats on the top of the griller and let them cooked. When the meat turned into BBQ with a sweet aroma, they ate them with vegetables and drank the glasses of champagne. Their dinner date was so relaxing as they don't need to listen to the announcements, details, boring conversations, and long lines for buffets. Additionally, Ravena was more a wallflower than being a socialite. She never knew any pro-heroes except her closest friends, AllMight, Endeavor, Mirko, and Hawks. As well as talking to strangers was quite awkward for her. Then, she noticed that Hawks acted a little strange.
"Hey, Keigo. Did her bitch slap hurt you?" she asked worriedly.
"No, it was kinda weak actually. No wonder she can't fight in fists. Her quirk made her feathers turned to blades… which is scary that she might hit on something or someone," Hawks replied.
Ravena chuckled nervously. "Yup! Glad there was a strict rule for personal reasons… I was trying to dodge and slap her ass…" she blushed as she remembered the kiss.
Hawks blushed that he knew what did to her. That wasn't his plan but he felt a little anger at Minikui because not only she was rude to the people but also, try to hurt Ravena or any of his close friends. Endeavor can take it but Hawks knew that he had a hot temper. When he looked at Ravena, she was nervous and guilty that he took the pain from her. He knew that he did everything for her as she did the same thing for him. He decided to cheer her up. "Ven, can we dance?"
"Eh? Well, okay. I have music for-"Ravena checked her phone. "Shit! Low battery," she mumbled.
"Don't worry, I have back up," Hawks took out his phone and played the music with a loudspeaker.

Ravena blushed as she held his hand and nodded. They started the romantic waltz.

"First time? Did you dance at the prom since high school?" Hawks raised a brow.
"Sad reality, I never got into prom because the HPSC led me to different schools like home school, assassination class, and Witch Academy," Ravena answered.
"Huh… Well, it's better than stressful private studies and military school," Hawks said.
"I guess this is our first prom date… Just the two of us, right?" Ravena giggled.
"Yeah," Hawks smiled.

"Keigo!" Ravena shocked.

"Keeeeeiiiiigoooooo!" Ravena whined as she blushed with embarrassment and Hawks laughed to her reaction.

"Ven, it's been twelve years that our friendship stays forever. I don't want 'just to be friends'. Can we move to the next level?" Hawks asked and blushed that he readied to confess.
"What next level? A game level or the real-life level?" Ravena asked nervously.
"Real Life level… I understand that you're nervous. Somehow, you did confess to me on the love letter since we got separated in high school," Hawks explained.
"Eh?" Ravena tilted her head for confession.
"I didn't bring your love letter as proof. However, I heard your confession to me when I got sick, and then, I passed out by the stupid fever," Hawks blushed.

Hawks kneeled and took out the small box. "Ravena-"
"Waaaaaaah!" Ravena screamed in panic.
"W-w-what is it, Ven?!" Hawks shocked.
"Keigo, it's too early to get married. I got two years of college left and not prepare for being a parent!" Ravena panicked.
Keigo sweatdropped. "I was asking you to be my girlfriend."
"Eh?!" Ravena surprised. "Girlfriend is okay. Why you didn't tell me?" she pouted.
"You got panicked all the sudden… Still, do you love to be my girlfriend?" Hawks asked with a blush but still smiling.
Ravena nodded. "Yes, that means you're my boyfriend now," she smiled.
Hawks stood up as he opened the box and placed a ring on Ravena's finger. The golden ring had a crown design with small rhinestones and a big, black pearl in the middle.
"Whoa! Black pearl. It comes from 'The Pirates of the Caribbean?" Ravena surprised.
"Not really. Just look closer into the 'black pearl'," Hawks smiled.
As Ravena looked closer into the 'black pearl'. It wasn't a black pearl. The inside of it has 100 languages of 'I love you'. She was very amazed to see the unique design of the ring. She blushed and looked at Hawks. "I love you too, Keigo," she confessed with a happy smile.
"So, can we get the official kiss?" Hawks asked with a smile.
They went closer to each other, hugged, stared at each others' eyes, closed their eyes, and kissed passionately.

Meanwhile, at the charity ball, the Top 10 Pro-heroes lined up to the stage for the results and reserved the medals for the runner-ups. As for Endeavor, he got the silver trophy as the second place and All Might got the gold trophy as the first place.
The HPSC president walked towards them. "Congratulation, All Might, Endeavor! You two did the amazing job," she smiled.
"Thank you, Ms. President. We worked industriously on our duties," All Might cheered happily.
"Who said 'we'?" Endeavor rolled his eyes.
"By the way, have you seen Hawks? He's on the Top 7 as he didn't arrive for the first time," the president wondered.
"He was with us a while ago as he decided to search for Ravena alone," All Might responded.
"I see. I should talk to him if I saw him… Thank you, All Might," the president thanked and walked away.
'I wonder where is that brat?' Endeavor wondered in his thoughts.
At the hotel room, Hawks's and Ravena's clothes scattered upon the floor. They were making love on the bed, covering with the blanket. They panted for a while.
"You're sooooo hotter than Endeavor, Keigo-kun," Ravena flirted as she nuzzled Hawks' neck.
Hawks went on the top of her and gave her a love bite on her shoulder. "Oh really? How about some extra speed?" he smirked.
"Oh! Keigo!" Ravena giggled.
On the other hand, Endeavor got bored from the charity ball as he decided to give the 7th place medal to Hawks by himself. Since he knew where's Hawks' hotel room, he kicked the door. "Hey, Brat! You forgot your-"
"Nyaaaaaaaaah!"
Ravena screamed as she threw her shoe and hit on Endeavor's head. Endeavor collapsed on the floor unconsciously. "Holy shit! I hit him!" she grabbed the blanket and covered herself.
Hawks wore his boxer and went outside of the room. He checked on Endeavor's heartbeat from pulses and chest. "Don't worry, Ven. He's still alive… and has a hard head," he summoned his feathers to lift Endeavor but his body was too heavy. "Man! He's heavy. How many kuzumochi did he eat?"
"I didn't know he likes those," Ravena said as she rushed to him, covered her body with a blanket.
"Um… Need a little help?"
Hawks and Ravena glanced as they saw All Might. "Yes?"
All Might walked towards them. "Alley Loop!" he carried Endeavor in bridal style as Ravena secretly took a photo of them in her iPhone. "This is a piece of cake. Well, I'll bring him to the room and you kids have fun. Good night!" he greeted cheerfully and left with Endeavor.
"Wow! Even, Endeavor is older than All Might, he can still carry him," Ravena surprised.
"I know… I wish Endeavor becomes number 1 Pro-hero," Hawks sighed.
Ravena looked at Hawks with seductive eyes. "Vroom-vroom?" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Getting harder, eh?" Hawks smiled as he carried Ravena, went to the hotel room, and locked the door. They continued their sexy night.
