Chapter 1
Umbridge POV
Pacing, pacing, pacing.
That's all it seemed I was doing lately, in my office, in my quarters, in my classroom. Right now I was pacing in the hallway walking back and forth. Trying to find a way to get Potter for his lies. My instruction isn't working, my detention isn't working, my threats aren't working.
I closed my eyes and continued to walk up and down the hall. Wishing for some way to prove the truth. I looked up when I heard a noise and jumped back.
How far had I walked? I questioned myself. I turned around and saw the same tapestry I had been pacing in front of this entire time. I looked back to the large door that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. I turned, walked forward, and opened the door with my wand out. Inside was a small table stacked with 7 books and a note.
Harry POV
"Do you know why we are being called to the Great Hall?" I questioned Hermionie as we walked down.
"Harry, I've told you a million times, NO!"
"Sorry Mionie, I'm just on edge," I leaned in closer to whisper in her and Rons ears, "I think he's angry."
They both nodded and we continued to walk down the hall. When we reached the Great Hall I stopped in my tracks. So did Ron and Hermionie. My jaw must have dropped to the floor because of what I was.
"Isn't that-" Ron started.
"Yes," I responded.
"And that's the Or-" Mionie said
"Shh," I cut her off.
"But why?" Ron questioned.
I didn't have an answer for that one, it was my main question as well. The entire order, well at least all the ones i know were here, as was all of Weasleys, and surprisingly, Sirius as Padfoot.
But my surprise at them looked like a drop of water compared to the tsunami that was the Dursleys. Sitting at a small table all alone looking around with fear and disgust.
"Come on," Hermionie said, gesturing us forward toward the Gryffindor table but I veered off and walked up to my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin.
"What are you doing here?" I asked with malice and confusion.
They jumped not seeing me coming.
"WE COULD ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION BOY, WHICH ONE OF YOU FREAK FRIENDS BROUGHT US HERE?" Vernon thundered.
Everyone was staring now.
I leaned in closer to him and whispered, "You do realize that every single person in this castle but you can do magic and you just called them all freaks, right?"
His face lost all color as I backed away. People started to speak up then.
"What did you just call us?' A boy from Hufflepuff spoke up first.
Just about every voice in the room started yelling at that point.
"QUIET," Dumbledore boomed over everyone else, I looked up and saw a wand at his throat.
Everyone was silent and looking at him now.
"Everyone please sit down!" Dumbledore demanded, everyone hurried to a seat, even the ones that were no longer students.
As I looked around I noticed more people in the Great Hall that I think I had ever seen, the only thing that topped it was last year when we had schools visiting. Besides the Dursleys and all of the Weasley family, Krum and Fleur were there as well as the Minister and several Aurors. I looked around me and Remus, Tonks, Kingsley, and Padfoot, as well as a few other Order members were there. I saw Dobby and Winky standing in a corner. It also looked as if every student and member of the staff were in the hall.
"Now that everyone is seated, Professor Umbridge would like to make an announcement." Dumbledore said.
Umbridge walked up to the podium as Dumbledore sat down.
"Hem, Hem. I have received a way to prove that lies are indeed false, 7 books that dictate his 7 years at Hogwarts, some past years and some future. There was a note that was with these books when I received them I will read it aloud now. 'Dear Reader, The books on this table dictate the life of one Potter. The start around the time of his parents death and span to when he is a grown adult. Though there are some large time jumps and they focus mostly on his 7 years at Hogwarts. These books are fully truth full and will explain what really happened at the end of his 4th year. One thing you need to be aware of before you read these books is that they are charmed. They will not open until the following people are present. All Hogwarts students and staff. Bill, Charlie, Percy, Molly, and Aurther Weasley. Remus Lupin and his dog Padfoot, Nymphadora Tonks, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley Dursley. Finally the current Minister of Magic and the house elves Dobby and Winky. More people may attend but no less. The books will also not open unless the previous book has been finished. There are terms that must be agreed to or everyone in this room will forget this whole experience. 1st no one is allowed to get into any trouble for things that happened in the past. 2nd if any truths are revealed they must be acted on fairly, such as getting someone out of jail. 3rd no legal actions can be taken against or for someone until their full story has been revealed. 4th you will not remember the future until you have already lived it. If something about this story changes drastic things could change in the long run, things you do not want to happen. But you will remember the past. When you open the books you are agreeing to these terms and locking the Great Hall doors. Time outside of this room will be frozen and all of your needs will be taken care of, you will no longer need to sleep or eat until the books are finished. If everything is understood and in order you may begin.' All of the requirements have been met now all we have to do is open the book." Umbridge finally finished. She looked over to the Minister, looking for his ok to start.
"Shut the doors, let's get this started!" He called out.
I had yet to regain my bearings from my surprise at all of this happening. I finally jumped up just as Umbridge was about to open the book.
" Wait, this is my life, my past and future, that you are about to read don't I get a say? It's my secrets, my thoughts!" I yelled.
"No, , what is it that you don't want anyone to know?" Umbridge questioned accusingly.
"Nothing specific but-" I told her.
"No buts !" She shot back.
I wanted to fight back but I knew it was a lost battle, at least it will clear up everyone thinking I was a liar. I stood up on my bench and looked around the Great Hall. "I'm sorry in advance for anything I might have thought about you in the past." I told everyone. And with that Umbridge opened the book.
