Later that day, Harry, Draco, Hermione and Blaise gathered in the library to work on homework.

"The Falcons are better than the Arrows," Draco argued. "The Arrows suck."

"But the Arrows have the better seeker," Blaise pointed out.

"Yeah, but have you met their beaters?" Draco countered.

"At least they're better than the Tornados," Blaise said.

"The Tornados are a great time!" Draco said, insulted.

"You know what else is great?" Hermione interrupted. "Doing your homework. I'm trying to work and all you're doing is making noise"

The two boys looked at her guiltily. "Sorry, Hermione."

Harry snickered at his friends' expressions. "Hey Draco, are wand movements or pronunciation more important?"

"Well, there are four components to Transfiguration," Draco began to explain. "Pronunciation, wand movements, magical power, and concentration. Each is equally important."

"Then how do you explain wandless or wordless magic?" Hermione asked.

"You use more magical power," Draco said. "Think of it like this: each spell uses 100 percent. For us, each of the four components makes up 25 percent. However, wordless magic has more magical power, but less pronunciation. There's still the hundred percent, though."

"Since when did you get so smart," Blaise teased.

"Shove off, Zabini," Draco said, leaning over to shove the other boy.

"Hey, watch the hair!" Blaise exclaimed amid Harry and Hermione's giggling.

Harry looked happily between his friends. He hoped the adults were having as good of a time as he was at Hogwarts.

"WHY IN MERLIN'S NAME IS THERE A FREAKING HORCRUX HIDDEN IN MY HOUSE?!" Sirius Black yelled. Four sets of footsteps pounded up the stairs to where Sirius stood in the drawing room.

"Oh my god," Narcissa said shakily as she caught a glimpse of her cousin holding Salazar Slytherin's locket.

"How did that get there?" Andromeda demanded.

Lucius hissed in pain, grabbing his left arm. "I don't know, but it's definitely made by the Dark Lord," he said. "Could you please put it away? It's reacting to the mark."

Sirius hurriedly shoved the locket in the trash bag he was holding. "Kreacher!"

The old elf popped into the room. "Bad master called?"

"Kreacher, I order you to tell me everything you know about Slytherin's locket," Sirius ordered.

"Now would be a good time to plant the evidence," Fate said, glaring at her partner.

"Chill, Fate, I'm going," Death insisted. "Look, why don't you go distract yourself by spying on people?"

"Well, I do love spying on people," Fate mused. "Oh, alright."

Harry sat happily in the middle of Susan and Tonks at the Halloween feast, enjoying the piece of treacle tart he was currently munching on. He was about to reach for a scoop of vanilla ice cream when Professor Quirrel came running into the room, screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Troll! Troll in the dungeons!"

Professor Dumbledore stood up. "Students please return to your dormitories at once! Prefects are in charge!"

"Dora, our common room is in the dungeons!" Harry said frantically, tugging on the Metamorphmagus' sleeve.

"Shoot, you're right," Dora cursed. "Hold on a sec."

She hopped onto the Hufflepuff table and began turning her hair bright colors, catching the attention of all the students. "Sonorus," Dora muttered. "Students! Half of the common rooms are in the dungeons! Please return to your House tables and sit quietly. Sit by year and make sure that everyone is there. Prefects, to me. Thank you."

Harry complied, sitting down next to Susan again. "Hufflepuffs are all hear," the redhead told him after a few minutes.

"Is Hermione Granger in the hall?" Tonks' voice boomed. "Hermione Granger, are you in here?"

One of the Gryffindor girls tugged on Tonks' sleeve. "Hermione's in the bathroom. Padma and I checked on her before the feast and she was in there, crying."

"Right," Tonks murmured. "Prefects, please seal the doors. I've got to go get Hermione."

"But what about the trolll?" Percy Weasley cried.

Tonks fixed him with a look that would have made Snape proud. "My sister out there, possibly with a troll near her, and you expect me to stay here?"

Percy spluttered as Tonks ran out of the hall, leaving a worried Harry in her wake.

"Hermione!" Tonks called loudly. "Hermione!"

"Tonks?" Hermione said in a meek voice, exiting the second floor girls bathroom. "Is everything okay?"

"Oh Hermione, thank Merlin," Tonks breathed, wrapping the younger girl in a fierce hug. "There's a troll in the dungeons, we have to get back to the Great Hall.

Hermione gave her a puzzled look. "No it's not."

"What do you mean?" Tonks asked, confused. "The Professors have all gone to find it."

"I mean, it's not in the dungeons," Hermione corrected."It's right behind us."

Tonks gulped, turning around and noticing the giant troll lumbering towards them. "Hermione, run. Stupefy!" she cast, a jet of red light shooting towards the troll.

Tonks turned around and began to run, catching up with the younger girl. "Down the stairs," she panted, before twisting around and shooting another bolt of light at the troll.

Hermione nodded and dashed down the steps, waiting anxiously at the bottom for Tonks, who alternated between casting spells and moving towards Hermione.

"Hermione, run and get a Professor!" Tonks yelled.

Hermione nodded, before remembering that Tonks couldn't see her. "Okay!"

She ran through the twisting halls before bumping into a hard body. "You have to help, Tonks is fighting the troll!" she cried, looking up to see the surprised face of Professor Snape.

"Where is Miss Tonks?" Professor Snape asked.

"Up the stairs!" Hermione said tearfully.

"Wait here, Miss Granger," Professor Snape ordered. He ran down the hall, leaving a bemused Hermione to wait as more teachers appeared.

"Why aren't you in your common room, Miss Granger?" Professor McGonagall demanded.

"I didn't know there was a troll and Tonks came to save me and now she's fighting the troll!" Hermione burst into tears.

The professors exchanged glances before running down the hall. Hermione followed, making sure to stay behind the professors. Professor Snape was casting spells at the troll, while Tonks was lying motionless on the floor.

"Dora!" Hermione shrieked.

Professor Snape sent a jet of red light at the troll, who slumped on the floor, cuts opening up along its body. "It's dead," he called calmly, walking over to the fallen Hufflepuff.

"Is Dora okay?" Hermione asked worriedly.

"She will be fine, Miss Granger," Professor Snape said. "She simply tripped down a couple of steps."

"You saved her!" Hermione exchanged, shooting forwards and wrapping her arms around the Potions professor's waist. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I knew you weren't evil!"

"Yes, well," Professor Snape said uncomfortably, patting her on the head. "Why were you not at the feast?"

Hermione lowered her eyes and stepped away from Professor Snape. "I was in the bathroom and didn't know about the troll," she admitted. "Dora came to save me."

"I believe that deserves twenty-five points to Hufflepuff," Professor Flitwick chirped.

Hermione managed a shaky smile. When she woke up, Dora would be pleased.

"Where is my daughter?" Andromeda Tonks demanded as she swept into the Great Hall, Ted, Narcissa and Lucius behind her.

Professor Dumbledore quickly stood up, a surprised look on his face. "Andromeda, I didn't realize you would be coming today."

"Yes, well, it seems you also didn't realize to inform me that my daughter is in the Hospital Wing after fighting a troll," Andromeda retorted.

Dumbledore flushed. "Might I ask why Lucius and Narcissa are here as well?"

"Because their niece is lying motionless in the Hospital Wing," Andromeda shot at the Headmaster.

"Shall I have someone escort you to the Hospital Wing, then?"

"No need," Andromeda dismissed the offer. "I'm sure Draco and Harry can take us."

"Draco and Harry?" Dumbledore repeated, before his eyes widened as the two boys stood up.

"I'm just going to go and get Hermione, she's been crying in the Tower all morning," Harry said, sprinting out of the hall.

Draco motioned to the doors and the four adults followed, the Malfoys chatting quietly as Andromeda shot glares at the Head table.

"Andromeda and Narcissa exclaimed in unison, rushing to hug the girl. Hermione waved shyly.

"Hi," the first year said. "Is Dora okay?"

"We're on our way to visit her now," Ted answered.

"Can I come?" Hermione asked hesitantly. "They wouldn't let me see her last night."

"Of course, sweetie," Andromeda answered.

The group tromped to the Hospital Wing, where Dora was arguing with Madam Pomfrey.

"Please let me go," Dora pleaded. "It's lunch. I'm hungry."

"Just let me do one more scan," Madam Pomfrey insisted.

"You've already done so many!" Dora cried.

"Listen to the nurse, Nymphadora," Andromeda said sharply, striding into the room.

"Yes, mum," Dora said meekly.

"How are you feeling?" Andromeda asked, taking a seat next to her daughter.

"Good enough to go to lunch," Dora said promptly.

Harry and Hermione snickered. "Please Madam Pomfrey, we'll take care of Dora," Hermione pleaded.

"Very well," Madam Pomfrey said reluctantly. "If you feel unwell, Nymphadora, then come back immediately."

"Don't call me Nymphadora!"
