15. Better then Fine

"I am worried."

"Why noona?" Eun Teak was helping Bora organize the boxes of old merchandise in the storage area, or he was organizing while Bora sat on one as stared of into space.

"You know how Seol is like, she rarely shares what's on her mind. In the past three years, she might have thought that I didn't know that she was still hung up on Yoo Jung Sunbae. But I knew. I knew and tried to pretend I didn't so she could pretend to." Eun Teak stacked the last box he was working on and went to Bora, the part-timers could do it tomorrow, he wasn't even paid for this anyway. Kneeling down in front of her, he put his hands on her knees.

"But Noona, isn't that exactly why it's a good thing that Jung Sunbae is back. She doesn't have to be sad anymore. She doesn't have to pretend."

"I know, but what if she gets her hart broken again? What if she gets hurt again? I know Sunbae is more then capable but is he good for her?"

"Noona, like you said Seol Noona doesn't share everything with us.. and to be honest she didn't share everything with Sunbae either. But I think in the end they were really opening up to each other. I think Yoo Jung Sunbae and Noona need each other, no matter how hard we try we can't be there for her the way Sunbae can. All we can do is be her friends and give her all the support she needs"

"Ya! Stop being all grown up! I am the older one here."

"Noona" Eun Teak stroked Bora's hair back "We will be here if anything goes wrong, but I saw Sunbae in a way you and Noona didn't get to when we were dealing with Young Gun. Trust me, if he hurt Seol Noona, it wasn't an easy choice." Bora stayed silent, her eyes not leaving Eun Teak's.

Eun Teak went to the army soon after they started dating, Bora had made a huge fuss in the beginning saying she would cheat on him, never come to visit and break up with him. But Eun Teak had never gotten mad instead he had hugged her and said,

"It's alright. Ill be back soon. I am really sorry Noona." He had sent in his application in a temper fit when Bora seemed to keep rejecting him. There was a high chance she might not wait and he would never blame her if she didn't. But she did and he couldn't imagine himself being any happier. He was starting to make a name for himself in the showbiz industry, a few guest appearances on dramas and variety shows and was starting to make some actual money. His main gigs had to do with modeling but money was money.

Bora was obliviously heart broken when Eun Teak went to the military but taking care of Seol and opening her store kept her plenty busy. That's why it was doing so well because of all the extra effort she had to put in to stop herself from missing him. She had partnered with several up and coming designers and made a name for herself among them. Customer demographic was a little outside mainstream but the shop was still doing well for selling unknown designers.

They both had a slightly rough time after Eun Teak got out of the miltary, especially with Eun Teak trying to finish school and continue modeling at the same time. This meant that they both didn't have enough time to be together, but things were finally settling down. And it looked like Seol would be getting her happy ending too.

"You really think it will be okay?" she asked in a timid voice. Eun Teak smiled, he loved it when she became like this, it reminded him of the snowy day they got together.

"I know it will be better then fine."
