"I'm not calling you Tonks in bed. Or anywhere else for that matter."

Only moments after their passionate love making, Tonks and Remus started arguing about her name. He called her Ny- that name numerous times when she constantly demands he call her Tonks. He had none of it.

"Why? Everyone calls me Tonks. It's not a big deal."

"Yes, it is a big deal. You're my girlfriend and I'm not calling you by your surname."

"Well you're not calling me Nymphadora either."

They stared at each other for a few moments. Tonks just now noticed how handsome Remus actually looks. He usually wears big sweaters and cardigans because of all the scars he has on his arms, but they also hide his shape. She knew he was thin, but he had some muscle as well. His shoulders are big and arms really strong. Abs toned. She was pleasantly surprised.

But scars cover his entire body; some new, some old. His chest and back are the worst. Every inch of skin covered in lines of misery and pain. They look terrible. So terrible, in fact, Tonks now understands why Remus was so scared of being intimate with her – he thought she wouldn't want to be with him anymore after she saw his naked body. But no matter how he looked; shabby or elegant, long or short hair, clean face or beard, scars or no scars – she would love him the same. He was charming, smart, sweet, considerate… Well, most of the time, when he's not calling her Nymphadora.

"Why do you hate that name so much? It's beautiful and it rolls off the tongue quite nicely, Nymphadora." Remus teased with a smirk on his face.

Tonks grimaced.

"It's ugly and terrible and bad and you're not calling me that."

"What should I call you then?Nymph?" she made a face at that, "Baby? Sweetheart? Honey? Dora?" His eyes lit up at that last one. He smiled.

"Dora. My Dora. I like it."

She rolled her eyes.

"By that gesture I'm guessing you're not a fan?" he leaned down to kiss her collarbone and neck.

"No, I'm not. I don't understand why you just can't call me Tonks." She said, getting away from him and the warmth of his lips and moving up to sit against the headboard.

"Because… it's not very intimate. Like imagine us married and we're making love and I have to call you by your maiden name. A little weird, don't you think?"

She thought about it for a moment.

"Well when you say it like that… Fine. You can call me Dora."

Remus grinned and sat up as well, taking his girlfriend in his arms.

To be honest, she only gave up fighting because of the imagine he created in her head. Married. Married to Remus Lupin. Being his wife…. That thought made her feel dizzy but quite happy and warm. She knows she loves him, but does he love her back? Is there a future for them?

" My Dora. Dora means gift in Greek. You're my gift."

Judging by that, it doesn't seem impossible.

A/N: I was searching what their names meant and when I found out Dora means gift, I thought how Remus would react to that so I wrote this...

Hopefully you enjoyed this fluffy drabble!
