20. Not So Lost

Seol and Jung cuddled together on the deck on a comfortable sofa with a wide seat to stretch out their legs. They sat in silence, in the beginning it felt especially uncomfortable to Seol, Sunbae was someone she hadn't seen or spoken to in the past three years. But soon Seol could feel the familiarity of his warmth creep back in, these were the moments she had been waiting for. Jung however didn't see it that way, he had enough of holding back. Since his return both of them have been busy, Seol with work and Jung with laying down the pieces for his future at Taerang.

"There is a hot tub on the lower deck, do you want to soak in it?" red spread over Seol's face at Jung's question.

"No, I am fine. I didn't bring anything to swim in anyway."

"There are swimsuits on the boat for guests. We can get them if you want."

"No, I am not really interested."

The boat was a luxury that Seol never thought to experience, even knowing Sunbae's chaebol status. It was weird and uncomfortable at first but it was Sunbae there with her. He didn't behave differently then they way he always did. Of course he had the waitresses bring in and arrange the food, which they cleaned up afterwards and rang a bell if he wanted to get more drinks and so on. But otherwise they were never immediately visible and the shore was far enough away that their privacy felt absolute. It was starting to nag at Seol that Jung was up to something. He never before tried to so blatantly display his wealth before, any mention of his fortune had actually made him uncomfortable in the past. He used his money and status as a tool, it was never a factor of his identity. Seol chose to let go of that nagging suspicion. To be honest, experiencing the luxury of the boat in private, with only Jung as her witness meant that she could be as uninhibited with her reactions as she wanted. This was definitely better then suddenly having to go to a big party with other rich people like they did in dramas. Seol with a sigh borrowed herself deeper into Sunbae's arms. The cool breeze of the Han river, just right.

"Is this weird?" Seol startled a little at Jung's sudden question.

"What's weird?" she asked not moving.

"Me holding you like this or the boat, take your pick." Seol pulled away to look up at him, eyes turning gentle at his tone. The expression on his face was reminiscent of another morning in bed a long time ago.

"It was a little weird in the beginning, but not any more." the reference to their past was not lost on him.

"What was weird, the boat or me?" Seol went back to resting her head on Jung's shoulder.

"Both. But Sunbae, new things are always weird in the beginning. It's familiarity that makes thing seem normal. I realized today that with you by my side that everything becomes normal, becomes real. I am not so lost then."
