Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost (Rewrite)
Prologue: A Brave Sacrifice
It all began one night when in the forest, a mouse was squeaking as it found a sort of strawberry, picked it up, and was about to eat it when it suddenly got out of the mouse's little paws, prompting it to go after it before turning around and noticing several forest creatures running and flying away in panic as the mouse started to flee as well before Vincent Van Ghoul and his partner Mortifer ran for a while and stopped before his partner shouted to him.
"Here! The chest! Now, Vincent!", Mortifer urged as Vincent took off his backpack, knelt down, opened it up, and grabbed out the last resort needed to accomplish the job: the Legendary Chest of Demons, as its green eyes glowed brightly.
The wind howled and then swirled around with dark mists forming.
"Get ready. We've almost got him.", Mortifer stated.
Then, the dark mists started forming into the source of the panic as its yellow eyes glowed as well, revealed to be a demon with horns on his head, wings, and a tail before he roared.
"Now! Do it now!", Mortifer shouted before Vincent opened the chest, causing a bright blue light to open up with a mists surrounding it and lightning streaming down the beacon as Vincent yelled while closing his eyes, due to how bright the light is, before the demon roared in defeat as it was now getting dragged back inside the chest, knocking Vincent back as it closed before he landed in the ground and then eventually came to.
"Vincent, we did it.", Mortifer grinned as he offered him his hand to help him get back up.
"Mortifer, did... did we...?", Vincent asked as he was helped back up.
"Yes. We got him. That's all 13. It's done.", Mortifer replied as he and Vincent ran back to the chest with the latter picking it back up before the spirits began to surround them among the shadow of trees as the duo shuddered while some, if not all, of the spirits snickered mischievously.
"'Done'? Hardly. Evil's minions will stop at nothing to open this chest and release once more the plague of their 13 masters upon our realm. We have a duty, Mortifer.", Vincent retorted before Mortifer gave a sigh.
"Of course. We need to split up if we're going to have a chance. Give me the chest.", Mortifer insisted.
"No, it's too dangerous. I won't let you.", Vincent refused.
"Then run. I'll distract them.", Mortifer urged before he then got out some magic dust of sorts and then weaves some magic clouds before clapping his hands, puzzling the spirits before Mortifer then ran ahead before the spirits seized in on him with Mortifer turning to Vincent.
"Go! There's no time.", Mortifer urged.
Vincent hesitated before he sighed and then took heed by running off up until he heard Mortifer's yelling and stopped before turning to see him get picked up by the spirits.
"No! No!", Mortifer yelled before he was dropped into a bush with the spirits closing in on him as Mortifer screamed before the bush then glowed bright yellow before it was revealed to have been disintegrated with nary but a smoky spot where Mortifer and the bush used to be, bringing tears to Vincent's eyes as he gasped.
"Mortifer.. ", Vincent spoke softly before he then turned around and ran away with the chest.
Then, afterwards, Vincent began narrating the recent events that unfolded afterward and what will occur as it showed lightning striking while the Credits started rolling in unique ways before Scooby, Shaggy, Googie, Scrappy, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Lena, Crystal, Amber, and even the Hex Girls (not to mention with Googie's friends from State University named Marcie Fleach, Moon Caddy Pérez, Jay Thomas, Dilla Pierce, Damien Wright, and Rowena Corden, especially with her younger sister, Willow Corden) were seen riding on the Ghost Coaster toward a sort of Goblin head as it opened up, leading to a sort of dark room with naught but glowing white ghosts with smiles on their faces before zooming toward the ghosts, causing them to scatter, and approaching an area where a witch was brewing something in her cauldron and adding a spice of sorts into it before it puffed out smoke and cleared out, showing the full moon with the shadow of Daphne as a werewolf howling at the moon before both Scooby and Googie, who now had wolf ears and a wolf nose, howled and then laughed with Shaggy and Scrappy as the Hex Girls smiled while everyone else up front screamed in surprise as they careened toward a spider web as it crawled away before it was broken through by the coaster, which then entered the room where a sort of pianist with a fedora and cake was playing an organ pipe piano as smoke emanated from the holes at the pipes at the top of it before meanwhile, outside at a graveyard of sorts, a few zombies with red eyes, and white sclera, popped out with a growl from the first two zombies and a laugh from the third before a coffin popped up with a vampire inside opening it up before then opening half of his cloak up as he stretched out the left half of it, stained with a red substance, either blood or ketchup, before it then changed into a fiery purple and orange flame suddenly appearing and then forming a big, metal demon head with a rotating cylindrical engine of sorts as it was rolling down and orange glowing eyes charging toward the screen before lightning then struck near the logo that says "Scooby-Doo and the Curse of the 13th Ghost" as bats flew away from the exit of the Ghost Coaster.
"Once upon a demon chest, where evil spirits manifest, the best of friends began a quest and set out like a thing possessed in every corner of the land with a kid named Flim Flam and a van. And steely hearts at their command, they faced their fears and made their stand. They thwarted evil Maldor's thirst and broke the shadow demon's curse. And off to Marrakech traversed to rendezvous with something worse. From witches quoting magic rhyme to speeding up the sands of time. Into Demondo's comic crime, they fought and caught the demon Slime, Fantazmo, Rankor, Zimbulu. Do they sound like good guys to you? Well, thanks to our intrepid crew, into the chest they each withdrew. But now, their hunt is nearly through. Their final mystery, pursue and capture one last bugaboo: the 13th Ghost of Scooby-Doo.", Vincent narrated before laughing in a fittingly scary manner.
