"There they are. New York's secret weapons." Vern says as Alexis and April walk towards him as he is leaning on a car.
"How's your arm Vern?" April asks.
"Is it healing okay?" Alexis asks.
"Well it wouldn't be much use in a fight. Not that I was much use before but-" Vern then gets cut off by April.
"Did you get a new car?" April asks.
"Yeah. You're looking at the new Fenwick Express. Pretty sweet huh? Kind of an upgrade. I figured I'd need new wheels after my old work vehicle went boom. Yeah Channel 6 gave it to me. They said don't put a scratch on it but like lightning's going to strike twice?" Vern asks.
"I wouldn't tempt fate Vern. Fate is a fickle mistress." Alexis says as Vern looks at her.
"What's the worst that can happen?" Vern asks.
"Okay." Alexis says.
"So is that why you called us here? To talk about your new car?" April asks.
"I know that you're not exactly a fancy restaurant kind of girl so I figured a creepy underpass in an abandoned neighborhood in the middle of the night was more your speed. I wanted you to be comfortable. And I figured Alexis could come along and stretch her legs." Vern says as the group hear honking and see a black looking van pull up near them.
"DJ Mikey in the house!" Michelangelo says as he opens the door happily.
"What are you guys doing here?" April asks as she, Alexis, and Vern go over to the van.
"We figured we owed you a thanks for keeping our secret." Leonardo says as he looks at the group.
"You had a lot to gain from telling people about us but you had our backs." Raphael says as he smiles slightly.
"The both of you did." Donatello says as Alexis smiles.
"Yeah because that's what family's for Raph." April says as Raphael chuckles.
"So you guys are driving now?" Vern asks.
"Yeah man. I pimped this bad boy out. Got a 42-inch plasma with the NBA package, shave ice machine, 7.1 digital surround sound." Donatello says.
"Sounds awesome." Alexis says as Donatello looks at her and smiles shyly.
"Well I guess I mean there's always room for improvement." Donatello says as he blushes.
"Check the bass bra. Uh-oh." Michelangelo says as he accidentally launches a missile at Vern's new car.
"What was that you said Vern about what could happen?" Alexis asks.
"Ooh. My bad. I'm still figuring out the buttons." Michelangelo says nervously.
"That was my new Fenwick Express! I just... I just got that." Vern says as he looks at the turtles.
"We better get out of here. Want a ride home?" Leonardo asks.
"I wouldn't mind to go with you guys." Alexis says.
"You sure Alexis?" April asks as she looks at Alexis.
"Yep." Alexis says.
"You know what? I think Vern and I are gonna take the subway. We're going to take the subway. Just watch out for my sister while I'm not around." April says.
"Not a problem. Though considering what we saw I think she's pretty capable of handling herself." Donatello says as Alexis smiles before getting into the car with the turtles.
"You sure? I got a real nice song that's all cued up. It's special girl." Michelangelo says.
"No don't." Leonardo says.
"For us." Michelangelo says as he gestures to him and April.
"Come on Mikey. No, no, no. Mikey you promised." Donatello says.
"It's happening. Imagine me and you. I do. I think about you day and night. It's only right. To think about.. I'm making really good headway!" Michelangelo says as he turns on the stereo and starts singing.
"Shut up Mikey!" Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael shout as they close the doors and begin to drive away from before Michelangelo opens the back doors.
"I can't see me loving nobody but you. For all my life! When you're with me baby the skies'll be blue! For all my life!" Michelangelo shouts as he is leaning out the back doors while the car is driving away from Vern and April.
*Three Month Timeskip*
"Donnie where are you taking me?" Alexis asks as she is following Donatello on a roof.
"Just come on. I got something to show you. Now close your eyes." Donatello says as Alexis looks at him.
"Donatello." Alexis says.
"Please?" Donatello asks.
"Okay." Alexis says as she closes her eyes before feeling Donatello pick her up.
"Now hang on." Donatello says as she hangs onto Donatello as he runs across the roof tops.
"Can I open my eyes now?" Alexis asks as she feels Donatello set her down.
"Yeah you can open them." Donatello says as Alexis opens her eyes.
"Wow." Alexis says as she sees a blanket with a box of pizza on the roof with a clear view of the night sky.
"I know it's nothing fancy but I remembered you telling me you loved to watch the stars. I thought as a special way to thank you for what you've done for us I figured to do something like this." Donatello says as he sheepishly rubs the back of his neck.
"It's beautiful Donatello. Thank you. I love it." Alexis says as she smiles at Donatello.
"I'm glad." Donatello says as he smiles.
"So is this the only reason you brought me out here? Just the two of us?" Alexis asks as she sits on the blanket.
"Yeah I just thought you may like the peace and quite." Donatello says as he sits next to Alexis on the blanket.
"Really now? Is that why you called me beautiful back in Sacks lab?" Alexis asks as she looks at Donatello while he looks at her in surprise.
"Oh uh that was just adrenaline talking. You know how it is." Donatello says nervously.
"Donnie. Tell me the truth. Please?" Alexis asks as Donatello sighs.
"Alright. If you insist. Look I really like you. I've wanted to talk to you about this for a couple weeks but I never really found the right time. I don't expect you to feel the same because of being a turtle but-" Donatello then gets cut off as Alexis kisses him before pulling away.
"Stop talking and listen to me. I don't care that you're a turtle. I mean Donnie look at me. I'm a monstrosity to my own kind and to the people of New York if they knew. I don't care about the differences if you don't. I feel the same. I was terrified that you wouldn't feel the same." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Don't ever call yourself a monstrosity again. You are a beautiful dove in my eyes. Who cares what other people think? I'm just glad you feel the same." Donatello says as he has Alexis look at him.
"Me too." Alexis says happily.
"So uh does this mean we're together?" Donatello asks as Alexis smiles.
"I hope so." Alexis says as she and Donatello kiss before immediately pulling away after seeing a flash and see Michelangelo.
"Aww so cute! This one is going in the picture book." Michelangelo says as he is holding a camera.
"Mikey! Excuse me one moment dove." Donatello says as he stands up.
"Ah!" Michelangelo shouts as he begins running.
"Mikey you get back here!" Donatello shouts as he cheese after Michelangelo causing Alexis to chuckle slightly.
