Chapter 11: Crashing the Party
Play Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King Music: "Goblin Oogie Boogie"
Inside the castle, the clock ticked to five minutes before midnight as some of the goblins inside flew up in excitement. From there, while the other goblins hadn't suspected, Flim Flam snuck across the halls behind the goblins with the Boo Brothers, Moon, Jay, Dilla, Rowena, Willow, and the Ghoul School kids following him as at the center of the rave, Vincent, Scooby, Shaggy, Googie, Scrappy, Daphne, Damien, and the Hex Girls stepped up and saw a sort of green bonfire at the center.

Tonight, you're gonna get your chance

"Wow. This place sure is swingin', isn't it?", Scrappy commented.
"Shaggy, look.", Scooby spoke to Shaggy, pointing to the Goblin King at his throne.
"That must be his Royal Rottenness himself.", Shaggy guessed.
"And that must be the Goblin scepter.", Daphne added.
"Indeed. The very item that Asmodeus wanted time claim to undo the seal I placed on the chest.", Vincent agreed.
"Well, we gotta get his attention somehow.", Googie spoke.
"And whatever we do, we'd better do if fast.", Thorn added, pointing to the clock with only 5 minutes left until midnight.
"Zoinks! Only five minutes 'til midnight!", Shaggy urged.
"We'd better make haste. Googie, you and the others go see what you can do to get His Majesty's attention so you can warn him.", Vincent urged.
"Got it.", Googie nodded.
"And what are you going to do on your end?", Scrappy asked.
"I'll do what I can to direct the goblins' attention away from you until then. Besides, this certainly is a party, after all. I'd say it's time for me to cut loose in the meantime.", Vincent responded before taking his leave to go to a different spot at the rave.
"Well, in that case, dance away, Vincent!", Scrappy grinned.
However, before they can proceed, Glob appeared in front of Scooby, Shaggy, Googie, Scrappy, Damien, and the Hex Girls.
End Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King Music: "Goblin Oogie Boogie"
"Well, hello, my lovelies.", Glob grinned before Glum showed up from the other side.
"I certainly hope that you aren't having any trouble.", Glum added.
"No. Of course not. No trouble here. In fact, we were just getting along swimmingly.", Googie assured a bit nervously.
"Yeah. Swimmingly.", Scooby agreed.
"Don't be shy, now. Let's dance.", Glum assured.
Play Aurelio Voltaire Music: "Land of the Dead"
Then, Glob and Glum each took Googie's hand and brought her to the center.
"Dance? Now?", Googie puzzled before she was then lowered.
"Hey, Googie, Wait up!", Scrappy shouted before he, Scooby, Shaggy, and Damien each used their wings to fly down.
"Well, this is going to be fun.", Thorn spoke before she, Dusk, Luna, and Daphne then both flew down to the center as well while Glob turned to the musical band.
"Hit it!", Glob spoke to the musical band, who smiled before they each played their instruments, mainly the violin and drum set while one of the monsters in the band sang.
During that point, all nine landed on the ground before Glob and Glum landed as well and started dancing before a few goblins descended downwards as well before one of the goblins ran up the wall and flipped back before turning around with his arms raised with the other goblins following suit, prompting Scooby to cover his eyes in fright before moving his hands away from his eyes and then moving away on one side only to bump into another goblin as Shaggy and Googie found themselves dancing with each other as the other goblins picked Daphne up and then tossed her up into the air, earning the Goblins' cheers before Daphne then got on her broom and flew all around the rave before she gently flew back down, although the Goblin King seemed unimpressed as his hand was on his mouth before Daphne was suddenly pulled away by an eager goblin as a horn, a violin, and a drum set were played in rhythm.

Meanwhile, Flim Flam, Marcie, Jay, Dilla, Damien, Rowena, Willow, Crystal, Amber, and the Ghoul School Kids were sneaking across the halls and carefully setting up an elaborate set of ropes and nearby conveyors for support as Tanis helped with tying knots from some of her wrapping on the columns of the castle and also weaving the leftover fabric to make costumes while Winnie and Elsa were helping with the construction of said conveyors nearby and Phantasma and Sibella on lookout up until Elsa inadvertently moved a rock off the ground before it fell and landed on 5 of the goblins' heads (one for each landing) in tune with the song before Tanis giggled a bit from the mishap as Elsa shrugged with a nervous blush, not knowing that Vincent was watching from below as he sighed before dancing in the same pattern as the goblins.

Meanwhile, Shaggy, Scooby, Googie, Scrappy, Damien, and the Hex Girls were also dancing with the goblins, some of which cheered from above. Then, as Googie danced along, she suddenly had the same feeling from when the transformation was complete the last time as she grew taller up until she reached a staggering 9 feet tall while her chest and butt grew bigger as well, the latter of which she shook in rhythm of the other goblins (making her shirt a bra and her skirt a sort of loincloth in a goblin-like fashion).
"Ooh. Somebody's lighting my fire!", Googie spoke in exhilaration.
"Wow, Googie. I didn't think you had it in you.", Luna spoke in surprise.
"You're telling me?", Damien agreed.
Then, Shaggy noticed the clock ticking down to one minute remaining before midnight.
"Zoinks!", Shaggy shouted before running over to Scooby, Googie, Scrappy, Daphne, Damien, and the Hex Girls.
"Like, only one minute left 'til midnight, gang!", Shaggy urged.
"Then, let's speed this up.", Googie responded before she instinctively grabbed Shaggy before spinning him once and dipping him before kissing Shaggy in the lips, making Shaggy heat up as he turned hot red before steam blew out from his ears with a train whistle before his skin turned goblin green again.
As the music continued playing, a goblin leapt up toward the wall before the goblins continued their dance with Vincent dancing along with them before Shaggy, Googie, Scooby, Scrappy, Daphne, Damien, and the Hex Girls all flew out from the center as the goblins and Vincent continued their dance.

At this point, Googie and Scooby flying up to the Goblin King with the latter trying to reach him only for his disguise to promptly wear off as Scooby changed back to normal as the same thing happened with Scrappy and Shaggy as they, too, changed back to normal at the same time before the gang noticed as did Vincent.

"Oh, dear...", Vincent sighed.
"Uh-oh.", Scooby and Googie spoke again the same time.
"What's this? Who dares disturb the Goblins' Rave?!", the Goblin King asked.
"Sorry, your rottenness. We weren't trying to disturb anything. We came to warn you about Asmodeus and Revolta.", Googie assured as she bowed.
"I can assure you, I already know about the 13th Ghost and that witch and warlock with him. They had the nerve to take Fairy Princess Willow away so they can take my scepter for a trade.", the Goblin King responded.
"You do?", Googie puzzled as she suddenly changed back to normal.
"Then, you must already know why they can't be trusted.", Vincent added.
"True, but what choice do I actually have?", the Goblin King asked.
"We still gotta stop 'em somehow.", Scrappy responded.
"Yeah. And book 'em, but good!", Freako added as he and his brothers flew up, having heard the conversation from below.
"Believe me, your rottenness, I know just what you're going through. You lost your daughter the way I lost my partner: in the hands of Asmodeus, our common enemy. Different though the circumstances may be, I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone. And that's all the more imperative that we stop Asmodeus here before he can take your scepter and use it to undo the magical seal on the Chest of Demons.", Vincent spoke.
"And don't worry, your majesty. We'll get Willow back safe and sound for you. Witch's honor.", Daphne assured.
Frankly, that gave the Goblin King some time to think it over before giving his answer.
"Very well. In spite of your ancestry with Asmodeus, you always made good with the Van Ghoul name, wiping the slate clean wherever you go time and time again. For that, I shall give you and your company the chance to try to stop Asmodeus and Revolta should they come here.", the Goblin King assured.
"Many thanks, Your Majesty.", Vincent bowed.
"Hold on. Asmodeus is your ancestor?", Thorn puzzled.
"Not exactly. It's complicated.", Vincent responded.
"Do you have some sort of plan?", the Goblin King asked.
"Indeed. As a matter of fact, we're currently making last-minute preparations, which should be done right about now.", Vincent spoke before the clock struck midnight and tolled just as Flim Flam, Marcie, Dilla, Jay, Rowena, Elsa, and Winnie finishes making preparations for the trap while Tanis finished making the costumes with an exhaled sigh.
"Looks like we finished just in time.", Marcie spoke.
"The Goblin hour has arrived.", the Goblin King spoke before raising his scepter, which sparked out green lightning, causing the walls behind the clock to part, revealing an exit before flying out of his throne.
"You are free, my minions.", the Goblin King spoke before his goblins eagerly flew out through the exit behind the clock.
"Go forth this night and let Goblin mischief reign!", the Goblin King shouted before laughing.
Then, Glob and Glum suddenly placed restraints on Scooby, Shaggy, Googie, and Scrappy's wrists.
"Hey!", Googie exclaimed before Glob laughed.
"Oh, great one. What do you want we should do with 'em?", Glob asked before Glum laughed as well.
"Yeah, what do we do? What do we do?", Glum asked.
"Leave them be so they can complete their part of our gambit to thwart Asmodeus and Revolta here.", the Goblin King ordered.
"Asmodeus?", Glob puzzled.
"Revolta?", Glum added.
"Well, when you put it that way...", Glob spoke before he unlocked the restraints on the group of four.
"Thanks, your majesty.", Googie responded.
"Don't get the wrong idea. Be thankful that I have more urgent matters to deal with.", the Goblin King responded before disappearing with a zap of lightning and a puff of smoke.
"Hey! Try these on!", Tanis shouted as she then tossed them to Shaggy, Scooby, Googie, and Scrappy, who caught the falling clothes, which were green, halloween-themed meditation robes.
"Thank you, Tanis!", Scrappy shouted.
"You're welcome!", Tanis shouted in reply.
"Everyone ready?", Googie asked.
"For once, Googie, I am.", Shaggy responded.
"Yeah. Me, too.", Scooby agreed, equally determined.
"Good. 'Cause here they come.", Daphne responded as she flew up to join Tanis and the others while picking Vincent up along with her to drop him off there.
Then, after a moment, Asmodeus, Revolta (with Mortifer chained on a sort of leash), Weerd and Bogel burst into the castle past Glob and Glum before they became puzzled upon noticing Scooby, Shaggy, Googie, and Scrappy meditating in front of the clock.
"Whoa. Since when did the castle have a guru station set up here?", Weerd puzzled.
"Maybe the Goblin King did some renovating?", Bogel puzzled.
"Like, namaste.", Shaggy greeted, puzzling Asmodeus and Revolta even more.
"Okay, I'm sorry. What is going on here?", Revolta puzzled.
"You're just in time for the complimentary hour of guided meditation, brother and sister.", Googie responded as she and Shaggy ushered Asmodeus and Revolta to their padded pillow-like seats, causing the former to let go of the leash, leaving Mortifer to stand there, turning away in shame.
"All right. Now, let me relieve you of your burden.", Scrappy spoke, reaching for the Chest of Demons, before Asmodeus only roared at him.
"Oh-hokay, so clearly, you're not yet ready to part with those earthly possessions. No problem.", Scrappy spoke.
"All right, let's make quick. We have a bargain to catch up on.", Revolta spoke.
"Don't mind Brother Scoobert. He's observing the last year of a ten-year vow of silence.", Shaggy spoke.
"I am?", Scooby puzzled.
"Well, he was. Better restart that clock, buddy, old pal. All right, first you'll need to pretzel your legs like a lotus. And no, I don't know what a lotus is. But who doesn't love a good pretzel? Am I right?", Shaggy asked as he went to his own padded seat cushion and started moving his legs, "pretzeling" them, so to speak.
"I love pretzels, too. Well, sometimes.", Googie added as she pretzeled her legs as well, but without using her hands.
"Pretzel my legs, huh? Easy.", Revolta commented before she then used her other arms to pretzel her legs the way Shaggy and Googie did for theirs.
"There we go.", Revolta smirked.
Then, Asmodeus tried to pretzel his legs as well, but to no avail as it proved difficult, prompting Scooby and Shaggy to pretzel his legs for him.
"Heh. You should learn how to pretzel your legs sometime.", Revolta smirked.
"Hold your tongue...", Asmodeus sighed.
"Now, you'll need to free up your hands for this bit. So, Brother Scoobert, if you wouldn't mind.", Shaggy spoke, slightly worrying Asmodeus as Scooby went for it before he roared, causing Scooby to jump away like a scaredy-cat.
"Now, is that any way to achieve inner peace?", Googie asked, prompting Asmodeus to hang his face down on shame.
"No need to be ashamed, big guy. It happens. You can still get centered and find some peace in mind.", Weerd assured.
"Wow. You just took the words out of my mouth.", Scrappy responded.
"Speaking of peace, it's time for your mantra.", Shaggy spoke before Scooby pretzeled his legs and started chanting.
"Om. Om. Om. Om. Om.", Scooby chanted before Shaggy pretzeled his legs and did the same thing.
"Like, Om. Om. Om.", Shaggy chanted.
"Om. Om. Om.", Googie and Scrappy chanted before Bogel found it interesting.
"Ooh. I wanna try it. Om. Om. Om.", Bogel spoke as he folded his legs like a pretzel and chanted.
"Oh, boy... Om. Om.", Weerd chanted before Asmodeus and Revolta started chanting as well.
"Om. Om.", Asmodeus and Revolta chanted.
"Om, oh, my gosh. We haven't got you two robes!", Shaggy realized before he leapt out of his seat.
"Good thing I'm here. So, what size are you guys? A size six?", Googie asked as she stood up and walked over to Shaggy to help him.
"Five foot seven, at least.", Revolta stated.
"I'm four feet tall.", Bogel stared.
"Four foot six.", Weerd added.
"Seven and a half. Seven? Seven and three-quarters.", Scooby guessed, peeving Asmodeus a bit.
"Oh, come on. It's obvious, isn't it?", Revolta responded.
"Thirteen.", Asmodeus added.
"Thirteen? Zoinks! You're a big one, dude.", Shaggy commented as he and Googie came back with size 5''7, size 4, size 4''6, and size 13 robes.
"Here you go, Revolta.", Googie spoke.
"Gee, thanks.", Revolta spoke indifferently.
"And you two.", Shaggy spoke, giving the robes to Weerd and Bogel.
"Oh, thank you. This robe is comfortable.", Bogel grinned.
"Eh, not bad, I guess.", Weerd added.
"Okay, Asmodeus. Now just slip your arms through the sleeves here.", Googie spoke as he and Shaggy placed the robe around Asmodeus, who slipped his arms through the sleeves, leaving the Chest of Demons up for grabs before Scooby ran toward the chest and grabbed it, shocking Revolta.
"Agh! We've been tricked!", Revolta shouted before she and Asmodeus tried to go after the chest only to get trapped in their own robes.
"Ow! Oh, I hate it when that happens.", Revolta spoke.
"Namaste! Namaste! Namaste as far away
from you as possible-ay!", Shaggy shouted as he took off his disguise as did Scooby, Scrappy, and Googie as they ran.
"See you later, ghoul chumps!", Googie shouted as she and the others ran further away.
"I can't believe we got conned out of the Chest of Demons!", Weerd exclaimed.
"Wow! They really got us good, didn't they, Weerd?", Bogel asked before Weerd sighed.
"Of course you realize, this means war.", Revolta growled as she freed herself from her robe just before Asmodeus tore through his robe completely, freeing himself before then going up in the air, surrounded by flames, which then morphed him into a big head with glowing yellow eyes and a spinning cylinder in his mouth as he sped forward.
Play The Nightmare Before Christmas Music: "Oogie Boogie Song"
Meanwhile, Daphne, Tanis, Flim Flam, Winnie, Elsa, Sibella, Phantasma, and the Boo Brothers were in the vacant hall near the area as Asmodeus was chasing Shaggy, Scooby, Scrappy, and Googie up to a point before Daphne flew in as Scooby noticed and tossed the chest up to Daphne, who managed to catch it, prompting Asmodeus to revert back to normal form before flying after Daphne next as he scraped his claws against the ground before Daphne tossed the chest to Elsa, who caught it before she, Winnie, Tanis, Flim Flam, and Vincent ran from Asmodeus as Vincent ducked underneath the demon before looking back at Mortifer, who still looked back in shame as Vincent had a sad look for him before he continued running forward.
Asmodeus: 🎵 Well, well, well
what pests you are
Here to take the Demon Chest? Can't say I like that
Why don't you just give up, concede, surrender?
Vincent: 🎵It's over, It's over, your scheme was bound to fail
It's over. Your finished here. This will end with a wail!
Asmodeus: 🎵He mocks me, He fights me, I don't know know which is worse
I might just spill my guts now if I don't die laughing first
Scrappy: 🎵What's this? A trick? I'm not impressed. You're bad and now your tall
It makes it all the more worthwhile to see a demon fall
Asmodeus: 🎵Talk, talk, talk, but I'll tell you, this demon's going nowhere
If I were you, I'd take a hike. There's danger in the air
Asmodeus: 🎵Whoa oh!
Vincent: 🎵Whoa oh!
Asmodeus: 🎵Whoa oh!
Vincent: 🎵Whoa Oh!
Together: 🎵Whoa oh!
Vincent: 🎵We are here to get that chest🎵
"We will not let you rule the earth!", Vincent discouraged.
"Well, aren't we confident?", Asmodeus smirked.
Meanwhile, Elsa, Flim Flam, Winnie, and Tanis ran up until Elsa skidded to a stop in front of Revolta, who then grabbed the Chest of Demons back before Moon popped up and roared, taking Revolta aback enough to get the chest back quickly before she, Elsa, Flim Flam, Winnie, and Tanis ran away. At this point elsewhere, Marcie, Sibella and the Boo Brothers ran into a ledge with Marcie jumping across it as the rest flew over it.
Afterwards, Jay, Damien, Dilla, Crystal, Amber, Rowena, and Willow caught up before Rowena thought of an idea, which was later implemented as Revolta, Weerd, and Bogel turned up before Crystal and Amber appeared in front of them, alarming Bogel he screamed and ran away as Weerd and Revolta became puzzled from the sight of Crystal and Amber's true forms before Asmodeus appeared behind Revolta and Weerd with Amber screeching as she and Asmodeus pressed their hands against each other, apparently finding each other to be on almost equal strength before Asmodeus lifted Amber up, spun her around and tossed her away, only for Amber to get caught by Damien before he, Crystal, Amber, Dilla, Jay, Marcie, Rowena, and Willow ran for a different room, which apparently closed off as soon as they entered as the doors closed in front of and behind them upon entry before the ceiling grew spikes and lowered with Damien holding the ceiling off long enough for the others to escape through a trap door on the ground before he followed shortly.
Freako: 🎵Well I'm getting angry, and there's a lot left to do
Marcie: 🎵We've fought your most unwelcome help, and now, we're after you!
Asmodeus: 🎵Even if you catch me, you could never do me in!
I'm thirteen feet and just as strong. Which means I will win!
Marcie: 🎵Whoa oh!
Asmodeus: 🎵Whoa oh!
Marcie: 🎵Whoa oh!
Asmodeus: 🎵Whoa oh oh!
Together: 🎵Whoa oh!
Marcie: 🎵We are here to get that chest!
"This ends here.", Crystal discouraged.
"Ha! I'm laughing to death!", Asmodeus retorted sarcastically.
Then, Jay popped up from a hole in the floor of the main hall at the castle only to notice Asmodeus, Revolta, Weerd, and Bogel in front of him before he got out and dashed off with Damien popping out next before grabbing Dilla by the arm and pulling her up along with Marcie, Crystal, Amber, Rowena, and Willow out of the floor panel. Then, Jay first ran into Weerd and Bogel before turning around and noticing Asmodeus and Revolta and running away again as they smirked before meanwhile, the Boo Brothers flew up the stairs only to be met with Asmodeus, Revolta, Weerd, and Bogel before Freako then got out a small mechanical ghost of sorts with a wind-up lever on its back before he turned said lever and let go, letting the small ghost yell out, "Boo!" just as Phantasma gave her own "Boo!" as well at the same time, frightening Bogel in a sense of irony before Bogel ran off in fright as Weerd sighed and noticed, along with Asmodeus and Revolta, that Googie and Moon, both in werewolf form, were grabbing the tapestries before sliding across the rope to another room as the latter werewolf held on to the chest and both went in, also pushing the dust toward Asmodeus, Revolta, Weerd, and Bogel, who shook the dust off before proceeding forward. Then, Moon found herself stopped by Asmodeus as he appeared in front of her before he blew a ring of fire around her only for Damien to swooped in using Tanis' mummy ropes and pick Moon up before she looked up and saw the half demon swinging forward only for Asmodeus to blow fire on it, causing Damien to fall a bit before flying back up while Moon wasn't so lucky as Asmodeus got the Chest of Demons back. But equally luckily, she bounced on another rope and leapt up before hitting the king of demons in the face a few times and get the Chest back before falling. After that, the whole group with everyone present was sent running from Asmodeus, Revolta, and Weerd and Bogel (but mostly Asmodeus and Revolta) as the demon flew in after them. Eventually, though, they were forced to go in the dungeon to hide from them only for Weerd and Bogel to appear and then bind Shaggy, Scooby, Googie, Scrappy, Crystal, Amber, Moon, Jay, Dilla, Damien, Rowena, Willow, Vincent, Flim Flam, and the Ghoul School kids before Weerd took the chest and handed it to Asmodeus and Revolta, who both laughed in triumph while Mortifer, who just so happened to come to the dungeon while wallowing in shame and self-pity, looked away in shame once more.
Jay: 🎵It's over. Your finished. You'll never get away
You? The Ruler of the Earth? That'll be the day!
Asmodeus: 🎵How feeble! How childish! Is that the best you got?
You think that you are heroes. But I think you are not
"I'm the King of Demons!", Asmodeus shouted.
"You're king of nothing!", Moon retorted.
Asmodeus: 🎵Whoooah!
Now it's time for you to see what it really means to scare.
Because I'm the strongest sorceror, although I don't play fair.
It's much more fun, I must confess, when lives are on the line.
Not mine of course, but yours, you brats, now that'd be just fine.🎵
Vincent: 🎵As long as the order is at unrest, we won't give you the chest🎵
Bogel: 🎵Oh, guys, you're something
You put me in a spin!
Weerd: 🎵You aren't comprehending

"Well done, you two. I believe my craftiness is starting to rub off on you.", Asmodeus smirked.
"Gee, you think?", Bogel asked in wonder.
"Any more traps I should know about?", Asmodeus asked.
"Well, there is just one. It's up at the clock tower. Matter of fact, their other friends, Fred, Velma, Lena, and Ben are trying to set up a trap for you during the deal as we speak.", Weerd reported.
"What? How did you know that?", Thorn asked.
"Simple. I just took what some people call a 'sneak peek'. Get it?", Weerd responded before laughing as Bogel laughed as well before stopping after a moment.
"I don't get it.", Bogel spoke.
"I see. You did well reporting this to us. Now, we'll take it from here.", Revolta smirked.
"And as for you, Mr. Quinch? You are no longer needed.", Asmodeus added as he then placed Mortifer in the same dungeon cell as Vincent and the others.
"At last, things are finally looking up!", Asmodeus smirked before turning back to Weerd and Bogel.
"And you two. Can you watch them and make sure they don't try any funny business while we're up at the clock tower?", Asmodeus asked.
"You got it, Asmodeus.", Weerd assured with a salute.
"Yep.", Bogel agreed as he saluted as well while sticking his tongue out in a funny way.
"That is all we ask.", Asmodeus spoke before he and Revolta left the dungeon with the Chest of Demons in hand.
The only ones who weren't in the dungeon, though, were Phantasma and the Boo Brothers as they noticed Asmodeus and Revolta heading for the surface.
"Oh, no! They got the chest!", Phantasma exclaimed.
"That means it's up to us to bust 'em out and stop that no-good demon and that conniving witch!", Freako spoke.
"Yeah, but d-d-do we have t-to?", Meako asked worriedly.
"Why not? I've always wanted to do a heist. Nyuck-nyuck-nyuck.", Shreako added.
"It's decided. We're busting them out of that dungeon, boys, in and out!", Freako spoke determinedly.
