Chapter 5

Fairy Tail Guild

"Otsutsuki…" Erza began, wide eyed.

"Clan!" Mira whispered, completely shocked at the news they had just received.

All around them, Team Natsu and other guild members stared at Kyuubi, jaws lodged into the ground. This was not possible, this can't be true. Each member of the clan possessed that much power!?

"There's just no way. You're lying! Acnologia alone is capable of destroying Alverez and Fiore on his own. You're telling us, that he belongs to a clan, with each member as strong as or stronger than him. I don't believe this!" Laxus yelled, cringing with each movement he made due to his injuries.

Many members hopelessly nodded in agreement. They just fought a single Spriggan that broke them left, right and centre. Granted Naruto was considered the strongest Spriggan. If said Spriggan went to such lengths just to wake them up and make them understand the situation, then this is a real fucking problem.

"If all this is true, then why had Alverez captured Natsu? If you're saying that all this had been done to prepare for the Otsutsuki Clan, what's the reason for taking one of our guild mates!?" Erza inquired rather coldly, but all it did was make Kyuubi narrow his eyes.

Kyuubi glared straight into Erza's eyes, which made her flinch slightly.

"I'm gonna be blunt with you little girl. All you people have been doing so far is holding Natsu Dragneel back. He has potential to be valuable for the upcoming war, and instead of sitting around and joyously playing war with his guild mates, Naruto and Zeref with rather prefer him receiving training, real training, by none other than their fellow Spriggan, Larcade. I assure you, he is benefiting from his time there, than here." Kyuubi stated; a hint of disgust in his voice.

Everybody couldn't help but grit their teeth when they heard those words from Kyuubi's mouth, but chose not to do anything rash. They learnt their lesson via ass beating a few hours ago.

"How…How much time do we have, Kyuubi-san?" Wendy inquired, rather nervously.

"I'd say maximum six months. That should provide everybody sufficient time to prepare their mind…No, their godforsaken souls at what you're about to face when the time comes." Kyuubi began, "This isn't a battle between two nations, it's a battle between two worlds…If you enter that battlefield, there is only two outcomes. Either you win, and your opponent is lifeless before you…or you die. If you hesitate, the Otsutsuki's will downright slaughter you, Naruto learnt that lesson once, and be happy that he is willing to give you that warning."

"To think that Naruto was able to fight three of them. Just how did he survive that?" Erza wondered, mostly to herself. But, when Mira and Makarov heard her they also tried to fathom the escape route.

"The answer is rather simple…" Kyuubi began, staring into each of their eyes, "It was luck. Naruto escaped with luck."

Everybody gasped when they heard that. However, Kyuubi wasn't done.

"The power that he used against Natsu Dragneel and all of you, it was barely a quarter of what he could do. Do you understand the threat? Do you now fully understand what he tried to show you?"

Erza looked down slightly in shock, a certain conversation she had with the Spriggan came back to her.

Flashback

"Why are you doing this, is Natsu your real target?!"

Naruto merely stopped stretching and looked Erza straight in the eyes.

"Well, you could say that I'm trying to warn you of something…But, on the other hand, it's also so I can prepare for something that links with this. You won't understand any of this, until you realize…" Naruto stated, narrowing his eyes, "The storm that will soon take over this world. If you enter that storm with you Fairy's current mindset…I might as well just take your life."

Flashback End

'He…was helping us. He was trying to warn us. It makes total sense, if we tried to fight the Otsutsuki's before he fought us, we would have rashly thrown ourselves into a battle that would have utterly destroyed us. How could I have been so stupid! If he wanted to destroy us he would have done it right then and there!' Erza bellowed internally, grabbing her hair in frustration.

"What about Naruto. What does he plan to do for the next six months?" Mirajane inquired, curiously, still wincing as she recalled the beating he had given her.

"Training and gathering forces from other continents as well. As of this period, Naruto can only gather the strong and push forward. I'll give you guys a warning. It's either you train and get stronger than you are now, or you downright back out and never get in his way. But rest assured, I'll be here to assist you in your preparation if you commit to your training one hundred percent." Kyuubi explained; which left the majority of them with their jaw unhinging.

"Gyuki will never let me live this one down. You owe me one, Naruto!" Kyuubi stated, as he saw Mira smiling happily at him. That smile was way too beautiful for his liking!

Line-Break

Alverez Kingdom – Meeting room

Before the conversation could go further with Naruto explaining the situation, the door to the meeting room opened, and all of them were greeted by the sight of Zeref, Invel, and Bradman entering casually.

"Well, well, if it isn't the majesty, why the hold up?" Naruto asked; his eyebrow rising.

Zeref sighed, while Invel pushed his glasses up slightly.

"We were trying to locate Larcade. Unfortunately, as usual, our efforts provided worthless results." Invel stated, tiredly.

As soon as he said that, Naruto, Eileen and Dimaria's faces fell hopelessly in their palms, while tick marks engulfed August's head, as he sipped his tea. Natsu and Serena merely sweat dropped at their reactions.

"Leave it, I'll find that idiot once we done here…" Natsu replied, annoyed. He then turned to Bradman, who was holding an ice pack to his head and torn up clothes, "What the actual hell happened to you…?"

"Let's see, I was fighting a Dragon slayer meat bag. I was clearly winning, but a boulder fell from the sky and crushed me; watch where you drop those meteorites, Lord Naruto." Bradman said, with a scrutinizing glare.

"I see. Duly noted…" Naruto uttered with a sweat drop, while Eileen covered her mouth with her sleeve to hide her laughter.

"With all that being said, I believe we are done here…?" Serena inquired, boringly.

However, before anything else could be said, Naruto interrupted, "Zeref, before you speak with Natsu, I need him to come with me. I'm gonna find Larcade."

It was damn good timing too. He could practically feel the intense atmosphere when the siblings made eye contact.

"Wait, why do I have to come!?" Natsu asked, confusingly.

"We're making arrangements for your training. You may be E.N.D, but several centuries have passed since you used your Magic. Larcade and Bradman will take care of that?" Naruto stated, turning to Bradman's position when he called his name, who nodded in approval.

"Oi, sensei, you just got back…" Eileen whined, as she pouted at him. She was about to say something, but Naruto turned to her, deadpanning.

"No, you ain't coming. You've had enough play time today, Eileen. Get back to training."

Eileen merely smirked, a smirk that was loaded with mischief, as she hopped behind Naruto.

"Ohhhh, perhaps, you wanna indulge in something later, hmm?" Eileen whispered into his ear. However, her eyes widened slightly, when he turned slightly and looked at her seriously.

"There is something I have to tell you later. I'd rather tell you when the rest are not here."

At Naruto's words, a serious expression engulfs Eileen's face as well and merely nodded. When Naruto is serious, she is serious.

Naruto walked towards the door, and opened it, "Let's go Natsu. We've wasted enough time."

Back in Fairy Tail

"I still find it hard, to believe everything that you have said." Brandish stated, with confliction evident in her eyes.

"Trust me, kid. When it comes to preparation and planning, Naruto and I make Invel look like an idiot. You think you are here in Fairy Tail by chance?" Kyuubi replied, smirking.

Brandish and Kyuubi sat at a table in the guild. The rest of the members were busy healing the injured and made preparations for training. Hell, even Lucy and Yukino had their celestial spirits out, conversing about plans for training. Happy, Carle, Lector and Frosh were speaking to Lily, discussing their plans for training. Wendy was in the process of healing Gajeel, who collapsed in front of the guild a couple minutes ago. Levy was by his side, crying. All in all, it was pretty damn packed and busy with members from other guilds discussing here as well.

Brandish's eyes widened at what Kyuubi said.

"W-Wait, what do you mean by that?"

Kyuubi merely smiled slightly, "We knew that you won't hurt these people from the beginning. Honestly, you would have wasted your time in Alverez. You have already created a bond with this guild, and we knew…That you belong here."

At Kyuubi's words, Brandish glanced slightly at Lucy. Yes, it all makes sense now. Before meeting Fairy Tail, there was an empty place in her heart. Sure back in Alverez she had Dimaria, but she needed something more, she had no answer to that.

"You have the power kid; all you needed was the heart." Kyuubi stated, wiggling his tails, and looking at the guild before him.

Brandish felt oncoming tears tickle the edge of her eyes.

"Yosh! Now all that's left to do is-WHOAAAAA!" Kyuubi began, but his eyes bulged out of his head when Brandish grabbed him and gave him a bijuu crushing hug.

"WHAAAAAAAAAA!" Anime tears ran down Brandish's face as she buried her face into Kyuubi's fur and cried her heart out in an overly exaggerated way.

"O-Oi! Put me down brat!" Kyuubi yelled in shock, as his tails pushed against Brandish's face.

"So fluffyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" Brandish was in her own world at this point.

On the other side of the guild, Wolfheim, Warrod, Draculus and Makarov were discussing something.

"Heh, I'm just an old man. All I'm able to do at this point in time is watch my children grow." Makarov stated with a sheepish chuckle.

Warrod released a chuckle, "A complete contrast to your old man, but not all together unpleasant. If only Precht hadn't submitted himself to darkness, he would have been helping everybody now."

Makarov sighed, "Dad would have been disappointed in Precht indeed."

"That aside, I'm rather impressed with your guilds determination to get stronger, Makarov. In fact, now is the perfect time to discuss something with you." Wolfheim stated; which made Makarov raise an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Ever since the betrayal of God Serena, we have been looking for a suitable mage to take the position of a King of Ishgar. We were originally going to ask Natsu Dragneel if he was interested in such a position. But…You know…" Warrod drifted off towards the end, not really liking Natsu's current position being highlighted.

Makarov's eyes widened in shock, but he calmed down slightly, and closed his eyes in concentration, as if contemplating something.

"You know…" Makarov began, a smile spreading across his face, "I think I have the perfect Mage for that position, I think you'll agree with me."

Makarov glanced around the guild, before spotting the person he was looking for.

"Erza! Come over here, Warrod-sama would like to have a word with you!"

The Fairy tail's strongest female stopped her conversation with Kagura, as Master had called her.

Draculus, Wolfheim and Warrod nodded in approval.

"Excellent! She would make a fine King of Ishgar indeed. Erza Scarlet." Wolfheim stated, with his hands behind his back, as Erza made her way towards them.

Back with Kyuubi, he had finally gotten himself from Brandish's death grip.

"Kyuubi-san!"

Both Brandish and Kyuubi turned towards the voice, and raised an eyebrow when they spotted Mirajane running towards them, before them, before stopping in front of their table.

"Yes, Miss…?" Kyuubi began, asking for her name.

"Mirajane, Mirajane Strauss." Mira introduced herself with a smile.

"Can I help you?"

"I need help, with my training. I'm a take-over mage." Mira stated, politely.

"Hmm, a demon take-over I presume?" Kyuubi stated more than asked, but Mirajane gave a solid nod, along with standing up straight and properly.

"Then I might teach you more than I should…"

End Chapter

I know this chapter was extremely short, but my skills have dulled and I had to refresh mine and you guys' memory of the story. Don't worry; next chapter will be back to the 5k length.
