Chapter 6

Alverez Empire – Spriggan 12 meeting room

"So, the only support that proved to be beneficial from the other countries, are their vast amount of Technology. They possess intelligence such as computers, and modernized artillery such as energy cannons and other devastating weapons. Whilst our frontiers move forward, we can use the technology to our advantage from afar. Keep in mind that their power source, being Lacrima's are combatable with numerous magic, so we will be able to integrate elements and other devastating magic." Naruto explained, placing numerous amounts of paperwork on the table that showcased the pros and cons of the other countries, as well as documents to sign.

Only he and Zeref stood in the meeting room, not even Invel was present. They lightly discussed the current relationship with other countries, and it was mere moments ago that Zeref, an immortal being himself, have come to known the different types of combat forces in each country. Where they lacked in mages, they succeeded with the unknown knowledge kept secret from other countries.

"However, in regards to their capabilities in withstanding long battles, the selected that were chosen to guard and operate such weapons are not accustomed to long periods of battles. Therefore, the maintenance of such weapons is at great risk. I had proposed that they could teach mages of our country to maintain and control such weapons. Luckily, he had seen the risk, and proposed that they will teach our mages to handle them, but in exchange, we have to teach them magic."

Zeref nodded in understanding, "I see, perhaps I can see to that. But, it seems like a double win for them, with their advanced technology and our agreement to teach them magic, they could become troublesome in the future."

"Look on the bright, at the end of day it's an eternal alliance. Yet another era reaches its end, and the least we can do is clear out the misunderstandings amongst the countries, Ishgar included. Trust me; it's not uncommon for an alliance to break after a unified war. But when it does, it's usually due to disagreements between the varied nations." Naruto reckoned; arms folded behind his back. Zeref merely sighed at the truth in the Spriggan's words, understanding his logic.

"Sometimes I forget you lived through many wars. Too think the entire Era of Dragon's you were recovering. If I didn't turn yo-"

"Don't remind me…" Naruto warned, narrowed eyed, "Just remember that if I hadn't appeared just in time, you would have been utterly fucked, especially Igneel."

"That reminds me, how did you manage to convince him to train Natsu?" Zeref wondered, taking a sip of his tea.

"Mah, I just threatened to seal him into Natsu's book." Naruto replied, nonchalantly, "Worked like a charm. Such a shame, I was going to give him a badass title like The Crimson King from the Book of END or something."

"I see…" Zeref began, shaking his head at the antics of his true advisor since he became immortal, "How is his training coming along?"

Naruto took a sip of his tea and shook his head, "First lesson with Larcade was an utter failure. Idiots tried to kill each other. So we settled with giving him his book to learn from. Brat's got the Divine Magic down, almost half way through the Amaterasu Formula. Though with Bradman's help, he'd complete all ninety nine spells in time."

"He's a prodigy?"

"Learning fast? …hell no, I summaries every single shit in that book. I was even kind enough to draw diagrams and charts." Naruto replied in exasperation. He's one to talk, that was his entire teenage hood.

"So how'd the talk go?" Naruto inquired, taking another sip of his tea.

Zeref got up and walked towards the balcony, gazing at his empire from the heavens itself.

"Well…" Zeref began, letting the breeze hit him.

Flashback – One day ago

Once again the Emperor spriggan stood at the balcony of his palace. The normal-passing time of gazing at the civilization below him will always surprise him, if only slightly. Even as an immortal, it's hard to comprehend that four hundred years has passed. At one point in his life, the civilization before him was merely a dream, a hope. Truthfully, what more could he have asked for?

Sure Mavis is dead. But he has an entire kingdom under his command; the best advisor and right hand man that could single handily annihilate an entire continent with ease, and reunited with his brother once again. If it wasn't for the damned curse, he'd been jumping for joy. Unfortunately, what he loves, god takes away from him, which is one of the reasons why he didn't show any emotions at seeing the pink haired Fairy Tail mage - now one of his very own Spriggan 12 – stand mere meters away from him, the both gazing at the empire with silence. However, it was soon broken.

"What were they like…?" Natsu uttered, enjoying the breeze and leaning against one of the pillars at the side of the railing.

"Who?" Zeref inquired, turning to his brother, for the very first time speaking with casualness. Regardless, there was still imaginary tension in the air.

"Our parents," Natsu replied, turning to Zeref, "I only have broken up and distorted memories of them. I found it odd. As soon as Naruto released my seal, they were the first thing that came to my mind…Yet, it seems to be the one thing I couldn't recall enough to understand."

"Ah, I see," Zeref began, turning back to sight-seeing the empire, "You definitely took after father. We were a simple family, no magic, no potential at that time. Father was one of the frontline soldiers foolishly heading towards the western dragons, while mother was the kind hearted and gentle one that gifted us with the biggest amount of love and care she could muster. However, father loved us just as equally. You wanted to foolishly follow in his footsteps while I wanted to attend the academy and become an inventor. Look at us now…"

Natsu looked up at sky and sighed, "You might as well call us renegades of nature. Surprised Anksheram doesn't have any beef with me."

"He doesn't need to, he already has his pawns in place, and that's why Naruto is here with us." Zeref stated, narrowed eyed and gritting his teeth slightly.

"What do mean…?" Natsu replied, raising his eyebrow.

"Just promise me this…" Zeref began turning around and walking inside, "When this war starts, annihilate every Ootsutsuki you can, eradicate them from this planet. Don't care about what Fairy Tail thinks. Naruto had already beaten that into your head. When the time comes…throw everything you have at them!"

"Understood!" Natsu uttered, narrowing his eye. He'll have to tell Naruto to up his training, because there is more to the Ootsutsuki Clan than the pink haired dragon slayer expected. Naruto and Zeref knew something the rest of them didn't.

Flashback End

"I see, so that's why he had been bugging me these past few days." Naruto reckoned, sipping the last of his tea, "Natsu can almost match at least one Ootsutsuki as he is now, and it's only been a month. The maximum I could take on is four to five."

That made Zeref smile. There is a reason why Naruto had chosen to only use his base form against the Ishgar Mages, and he had the privilege of knowing exactly why. When Naruto first fought the Oosutsuki's, he had already mastered every form that he had, and that included Sage mode, Bijuu Mode, Tailed beast sage mode and Rikudou Sennin mode. However, the blonde Spriggan had realized soon after, that his base form had been lacking severely.

Naruto had dedicated century's worth of training into increasing his power and abilities in his base form. Not only did he master his two elements being Wind and water, but he had also mastered his Rinnegan, Taijutsu, fuinjutsu, and most importantly, increased his physical attributes to a point where he doesn't even use ninjutsu and chakra, evident by his fight with Fairy Tail. He annihilated all of them with basic taijutsu, and superior physical prowess. The only ninjutsu he had used was replacement and Uzumaki reflection. But, Uzumaki reflection was child's play compared to what the blonde has in his arsenal. When he first started training, he had been low-Kage level is his base form. However, at this point, his base form surpassed that of which Madara and Hashirama had only dreamt about. His base form was mere centimeters away from Kaguya's level. Zeref never wanted to imagine the type of power the blond has if he used his other forms. Alverez had been secluded and quiet, so he could train how long he wanted to.

Zeref knew that Natsu was only a quarter way to matching even a single Ootsutsuki. Naruto had been too optimistic of Natsu's current power. And that was without the calculations of whether the Clan had gotten even stronger, it was all too stressful. Luckily, they had great control over keeping their frustrations in check.

"Zeref, I know what you are thinking, trust me, I have my ace in the hole." Naruto stated, getting up and walking towards the door.

"And what's that?" Zeref inquired, raising an eyebrow.

Naruto merely grinned before replying, "Indra and Ashura just won't die. They still live within two idiots to this day. The cycle never ends. It is eternal. Once, the brothers powers where collaborated as one, can it be done again? I hope."

'I hope you really have such an advantage Naruto, I really hope.'

Line-Break

'Ah, such a wonderful breeze.' Eileen Belserion thought, basking in the wind from the roof of the Emperor's palace, while gazing at the clouds that engulfed the sky, "If only it wasn't the calm before the storm."

Eileen had been known as many things. Powerful, blood lusty, cunning, sly, playful, even lazy and childish, but if anybody saw her as she is now, they would question the existence of the godlike woman before them. Depression was the only word that spread across her face. She remembered Naruto's words clearly; it rang in her head like a slow horror movie.

"How pitiful, you are far from the once kind woman I saved. Your daughter is alive, and you are jealous, jealous! Just because she is human!? You've stooped low, Eileen."

"You felt no remorse or mercy when you threw her into a trash can, huh? Why do you question my coldness towards you when you know I lost respect for you, both as a woman, and as a mother."

"Sort your life out, Eileen. A good place to start is with your daughter. Until you do that, you mean nothing to me, understood?"

"Why, did he have to be so mean?" Eileen pouted sadly, before getting up and dusting her clothes.

'Erza scarlet, what will happen now…?'

It was all good in the beginning. When Naruto had saved her when she was a dragon, he had shown her kindness, gentleness, even comfort. He took care of her and nursed her back to health; he had shown her love that was befitting of a family. However, everything changed when she abandoned her baby.

Naruto became cold hearted. He had always looked at her with eyes that made her feel so small, so insignificant. When she had requested him to train her, it was only because he had seen the potential in her. Even through that coldness, he would show a fragment of kindness. I mean, if he didn't care about her, then why he would even bother to berate her about her life.

However, when he described her daughter, he said 'She's all you, THAT'S what really sad about what you did.'

"What did he mean by that…?"Eileen questioned, looking at the empire below her.

In the end, it will all come down to the battlefield. Before any of them knew it, six months had passed by, and the storm has just begun its initial stage. Neither Heaven nor Hell will stand in the way between two worlds. The tables have been set and laid out, and the pieces have been placed. Know the question arises…Who will move their pawn first?

Six Months later – Capital of Fiore, Crocus

Standing on top of the King Tome palace, Mercurius, the Black Dragon of Apocalypse himself, Acnologia, gazed at the city before him with an emotionless. The rising sun of behind him rose, and with each color that engulfed the sky, he counted down the inevitable.

The end of an Era, the apocalypse of a new one…Let the war begin!

BOOOOOOOOMMM!

Seconds later, numerous multicolored meteors dropped from the sky. The very clouds themselves parted as they shot through and passed over many cities throughout the world. Tremors followed with each meteorite passing by.

"This is the end, time to report to Lord Ankhseram…" Acnologia uttered, before transforming into his Dragon Form and blasted through the sky.

End Chapter

Yeah I know, another short chapter, but I didn't want to give a 7k chapter that had no action in it. I decided to reveal pasts and such during the war, so that I can balance everything out with the battles. So, we finally here, the Ootsutsuki's have arrived. Shit's about to blow namek and Beerus's planet!

Question of 2017: Are these motherfuckers in Fairy Tail ready…? O_O
