At Bridget's request Poppy met with her on the balcony of Bridget's favorite restaurant in Paris. It was her favorite because from the balcony where she always sat when she dined she was able to get a clear view of the Eiffel tower.

"Thank's for agreeing to meet with me," Poppy replied to Bridget as the waiter poured the two of them a glass of red wine. "It's been a while."

"To long," Bridget replied "Nine years isn't it? To tell you the truth I have spent so long trying to track down those responsible for brainwashing me, I have barely had time to actually live."

"Vengeance destroy's the body and soul Bridget, I know more than anything you want justice for both what was done to you as well as the murder of your husband, but this one woman army approach is not the way to go. Your focus is vengeance, not justice and vengeance clouds the mind, and leads to mistakes that will only get you killed."

"Then how do you suppose I get justice then?"

"The Watchdogs," Poppy replied "My daughter Scarlett, against my better wishes has joined her father in the war. As her mother I am planning to rejoin the Watchdogs in order to keep her safe. I don't wish on joining up alone though. Join me my friend, and I promise you we will get justice for Gristle, the Raptors will pay for what they turned you into."

Bridget's eyes lit up in fear when she heard Poppy's suggestion. "I...I can't Poppy?"

"Why not?"

"You know why. After everything I did, they will never let me be a part of them. I killed people Poppy. I killed a robot's right's leader in front of a crowd, I killed many other people across the globe. The Watchdog's have worked hard to try to win back the world's approval. If I join your brigade it will tarnish the hard work the Watchdogs have done to win back the public's trust."

"That wasn't you though," Poppy ensured "That was the helmet that the Raptors put on you in order to control you."

"It doesn't matter though, the truth is I killed. I performed horrible deeds that I can never take back or forgive myself for. I still have nightmares over the things I did. I see the people I killed, I see the look of terror on the faces of those who witnessed the deed. The screaming, the crying. I wake up hyperventilating and soaked in sweat. These past nine years, I have had only one thing on my mind, revenge. I have searched the globe with only my satchel and sniper rifle. Sometimes when I close my eyes I see myself standing over Creek, and the entire Raptor association, a bullet in each and every one of their heads. Bullets that came from my gun."

"Have you tracked down any Raptor agents over the years?" Poppy asked concerned.

"One,"

"Did you..." Poppy paused as she struggled to say the next "Kill him?"

"I wanted to," Bridget admitted before bursting out in tears ashamed of the emotions she felt that day. "I really wanted to. I had him pinned on the ground on his back. My foot rested on his neck and my gun was pointed at his head. I was screaming at him, letting him know everything that the Raptors took from me, everything that the Raptors did to me. I pressed the tip of my rifle to his forehead and my forefinger rested on the trigger. I wanted to kill him so bad, I wanted to send the Raptors a message. But I couldn't. I saw the horror in his eyes, I heard him pleading for mercy. He was telling me that he wasn't responsible for what happened to me. That he wasn't there when those deeds happened to me. He was right. He wasn't there that day, my war wasn't with him. Instead I just smashed his face into the ground and left him inside a police car and walked home ashamed. I was ashamed of what my anger was doing to me, ashamed of what I was becoming. I could hear Gristle telling me that vengeance wasn't justice, but I honestly don't know any other a to truly get justice."

"I do, and it's with the Watchdogs," Poppy insisted. "You are ashamed of your past and I get that but what you was with the Raptors was not the real you, that was a puppet that the Raptors was using to fulfill their will. The Watchdogs may not trust you right away, but they trust me. I will vouch for you. I will tell them everything that you went through and insist that you are not the threat they once saw you as. I will be by your side the whole time I swear."

"You can really promise me that?" Brigdet asked misty eyed as Poppy put her hand on her shoulder.

"I can," Poppy insisted.

Bridget sniffed as she wiped her tears away. "Then I trust you."

Inside the Watchdog infirmary Jo was laying over Reby's body praying when she felt a little flinch. Looking up she gasped when she saw Reby opening her eyes.

"Oh God Reby!" Jo cried hugging her cousin around the neck. "You nearly gave me a heart attack."

"What happened?" Reby asked "How did I get hear?"

"What's the last thing you remember?"

"The last thing I remember is I was falling from the sky, I watched as my mech suit exploded then I remember getting hit with the blast and getting thrown into the water, but that's it."

"The Watchdogs found you floating in the sea. They rescued you and rushed you to the hospital. You've been in a Coma for days Reby. Many feared you might not make it."

"I... I still don't know how I did though. I got knocked out instantly when I hit the water, I shouldn't have survived. How on Earth did I survive?"

"It doesn't matter," Reby insisted as she wrapped Reby in another hug. "Your going to make it, that's all that matters.

Suddenly Tooth walked into the door followed by Hiccup, Peabody, Biggie, as well as Harper and Cooper.

"Well look who finally woke up?" Tooth responded.

"You gave us quite the scare kid," Hiccup replied

"Glad to know you will be okay." Peabody added

"Me and Guy Diamond made a bet if you was going to make it or not," Biggie replied "Looks like he is going to owe me money."

"Seriously?" Tooth, Hiccup, Jo and Reby turned and asked in unison.

Reby then noticed the young girl and robot. "Who are you two?"

"Oh sorry," Harper replied before introducing herself and Cooper "I am Harper and this is my robot Cooper. I made him all by myself."

"It is a pleasure to meet such a well respected hero such as yourself." Cooper replied "But forgive me for asking but I thought you were Korean?"

"Korean?" Jo and Reby both asked

"Oh in the Watchdogs cartoon you and Jo was both portrayed as Korean." Harper replied "They did that so that the show would attract a bigger Asian audience."

"Shifu is Chinese!" Reby responded harshly

"True but the show runners thought that a half cyborg alone wasn't a fair representation for Asia since you can't see most of him."

"Okay that is offensive." Reby was starting to get steamed and started to rise from her medical bed "If you knew exactly everything Shifu has gone through you would know he is one of the toughest motherf... OW!"

Reby instantly fell back in her bed and grabbed her waist as she winced in pain. Jo had to quickly grab her as she fell to prevent her from hurting herself more.

"Okay everyone out of the room except for Jo now!" Tooth ordered. Everyone instantly dashed out of room as Tooth checked on the patient.

"You just had to mention that the show changed her race didn't you?" Hiccup whispered to Harper as they left.

"I didn't know she was going to get that mad?"

"Word of advice, nobody here is a big fan of how they portrayed us in that cartoon."

"I am starting to tell."

As Tooth started to examine Reby's injuries, tears started to swell up in Reby's eyes.

"Is my Watchdog career over?"

"No," Tooth ensured in a comforting voice "No, don't think that. You are going to be okay, your wounds will heal and you will be right back in the field in no time."

"But my suit," Reby cried "I have never once been out in the field without my mech to protect me. I am not like most everyone else here. I am not the most physically fit. I don't know how to fire a heavy assault rifle, or trained with a sword or martial arts. I am just a scrawny troll girl who flies in a giant mech suit. How can I help you without my suit.

"Reby, Reby," Jo insisted "you have always been more than that suit."

"No I'm not!" Reby snapped back "I have never dived into battle once without that mech suit and you know why? Because I knew I would be the first one killed out there without it. Face it Jo, I am nothing without that suit."

"If your nothing without that suit, then you are nothing with it. The suit wasn't the hero that everyone praised Reby, it was you."

"Then answer me this Jo, How am I supposed to survive a incoming invasion if I don't have my mech with me."

"I..." Jo paused, Reby had never trained to use any other heavy weapon, since she was certain she would always have her mech suit on hand with it's two built in guns that she could fire at the push of a button. "I don't know. But we will think of something I promise."

"Look at me Jo!" Reby snapped as she used her one non broken arm to show off her injuries "I have a broken arm, a broken leg. I can barely move without being in extreme pain. How can I be of any use to the Watchdogs? My days as a Watchdog is over without my mech." Reby buried herself in Jo arms as she wept thinking her days as a Watchdog was over.

"How can I be any use without my mech!?"

Down in Mexico, in a secret mansion far away from, the rest of civilization, a black smoke moved underneath the small space underneath a locked door. The smoke made it's way down the hall and into the vents. While inside the vents the smoke moved throughout the entire mansion stopping at each room until it reached the room that was currently being occupied by the Raptors. It was a giant hanger filled with hundreds of Raptor soldiers each one of them was leading humans, trolls and other air breathing creatures in chains before locking them up in cages. Overseeing everything was Ashe who stood on a balcony with her shotgun draped over her shoulders.

For several minutes Ashe stood in silence as she watched the soldiers pile thousands of humans into cages, their pleas for release falling on deaf ears. It wasn't until Creek walked up that Ashe finally opened her mouth.

"Everything is going as planned Creek. With the Watchdogs stretched thin and distracted by each little robot attack, the rest of us are able to abduct as many civilians as possible. It won't be to much longer until we move on to the next phase of your plan."

"Excellent," Creek chuckled.

"Speaking of which, you know I don't really enjoy being left in the dark. What is the next part of your plan?"

"Follow me."

As Creek led Ashe into another room the black smoke followed in the vents. Creek led Ashe to his office on the other side of the hall. There Creek showed Ashe a drawing of the entire globe as well as a giant satellite that hovered above Earth.

"What is this?" Ashe asked curious.

"This," Creek began "Is how we are going to take control of the entire world." Creek pulled open the top drawer in his desk and pulled out a chip before placing it on the desk.

"We are going to plant one of these tiny chips into the brains of every single human we abduct. The chips will allow me to control their minds, then they are going to attack and slaughter all those that are not under my control. After that the real fun begins. They will rage war on the robots, they will fight each other to the death, with only one side reigning supreme. Then after that the surviving species will live the rest of their days under my rule."
"Millions of people will die," Ashe pointed out.

"Not millions," Creek corrected "Billions!"

"Doesn't seem like you will be the ruler over much."

"Ashe," Creek replied in a calm tone as he put his hand on her shoulder. "Since I was a young adult I have been fascinated with wondering just who it was that ruled the world. Was it man, was it machine, was it both? I spent my adult life working with the Raptors in order to discover who it was that ruled the world so I could seize their power for my own and control it. You know what I discovered Ashe?"

"What?"

"I discovered that it was neither man or machine, it was technology? Technology is what controls the lives of every being on Earth rather it's blood that runs through their bodies or circuits? Everyone's lives depends on technology. That is why I am going to control it. With this chip I will be able to hack into the brains of every human this chip is planted into. Then I am going to hack into the worlds satellites and with it control the minds of every single one of them. With both the humans and the robots under my control I can finally settle who is the dominate species, man or robot. Then after this is all over it will no longer being technology that runs the world. It will be me."

Hearing everything it needed to hear the smoke left the exact way it came in, not stopping until it finally left the premises. Then once out of the building the smoke turned into it's real form, Pitch.

"Was my hunch right?" a gravely voice asked from behind Pitch. Pitch turned around and saw Smidge approaching him.

"This is where Creek and the Raptors are operating now all right?"

"You find out what they are planning?"

"I have and it's far worse then I ever feared. Creek isn't just wanting to control the robots, he wants to control every living thing on the planet and have them commit genocide until only one race stands. I never thought I would say this, but I need the Watchdogs help. The fate of every living thing on this planet depends on it."

Okay I can hear you all asking it now, "why is Pitch working with Smidge? Isn't he a bad guy?" That question will be answered in due time, there is a reason why I do everything.

Also I wasn't originally planning on having Reby wake up from her Coma this soon but when I was looking at the word count I noticed the chapter was a bit shorter than I liked so I decided to have Reby wake up from her coma a bit early. Sorry Reby, I know you was enjoying being in coma, your reviews have been hilarious but now it's time to wake up and learn to be a hero without your mech to protect you.
