Okay I'll confess this was the first scene I thought of when I planned this story. I have been waiting a long time to write this chapter and I am so glad I have finally got to it.
Let's do this
Suki sat on a motorcycle in the middle of a dark alleyway in the middle of the busiest street in Havana and waited in case Ashe showed her face. With Tooth being able to fly she took to the skies to see if she could get a peak of where Ashe was hiding.
About a mile away, heading down the road that Suki was hiding she spotted Ashe's limo.
"Target spotted," Tooth said over her com, should be in your position in no more than a couple of minutes Suki."
"Roger that Tooth," Suki replied before contacting Branch. "Target in sight commander."
"We have waited a long time for Ashe to show her face," Branch replied "Take her alive and do it quickly. I just received word that a hurricane will be approaching your area any minute."
"Judging by the storm clouds above me I believe you are right." Tooth replied looking at the clouds.
As Ashe's limo passed the alleyway Suki gave chase, driving up to Ashe's window and banging on the car door.
"By order of the Watchdog's you are under arrest!"
Looking at Suki Ashe just sighed and turned to B.O.B who was driving the limo. "Speed up will you? We got company."
B.O.B did as he was told and stepped on the gas, forcing Suki to pick up speed herself. Noticing Ashe was not going to lose Suki so easily she took out her shotgun, rolled down her window and started firing.
"Whoa!" Suki screamed as she swerved to her left to miss the bullets. Ashe continued to fire and the more Suki was forced to dodge her bullets the more she slowed down, desperate not to lose Ashe Suki called for backup.
"I need reinforcement fast!"
"On it Suki!" Peabody replied on the other end.
"Me too!" Tooth also replied.
Suddenly Suki felt her front tire instantly go flat, Ashe had successfully shot out her tire and caused the motorcycle to start spinning out of control. Suki had to jump out and let the bike crash into a fire hydrant. Thankfully though due to her chronel accelerator she was able to run fast enough to keep up with her target.
"You ain't getting rid of me that easy love."
"We will see about that!" Ashe then tossed out a stick of dynamite at the speedy troll but within a blink of the eye Suki blinked away and appeared on the right side of their limo.
"Missed me!" Suki taunted
Growling Ashe fired her shotgun only for Suki to blink away again and appear on left side of the limo.
"To slow!"
Suddenly Tooth touched down on the windshield of the limo. Using her staff she caused a bright light to cover the entire limo, blinding B.O.B allowing Peabody to smash into the right side of the limo
"Get us out of here!" Ashe demanded. Turning the limo around B.O.B sped down the way he came from hoping to lose the Watchdogs. However by this time Shifu had showed up and was waiting for them. Ashe's eyes widened when she saw the cyborg standing in the middle of the road. Grabbing his staff Shifu spoke a chant in Chinese that released a dragon spirit from the staff. With the spirit of the dragon Shifu swung his staff and sliced the front wheels and hood right off the limo causing the limo to flip over his head and crash into a nearby wall.
The rain started falling and the crackle of thunder could be heard as the four Watchdogs waited for their targets to exit the car, but after about thirty seconds there was no movement coming from the vehicle causing Peabody to walk up and search the crash
"Please tell me they are alive, Branch will have my head if we don't bring Ashe in alive."
Peabody was about to tear off the door when suddenly a shot fired and the door blew clean off it's hinges knocking Peabody back several feet.
Ashe then stepped out of the car a loaded stick of dynamite in her hands. The rain was pouring down by now and nobody could see past a few feet in front of them but she didn't care, she was going to kill these Watchdogs for this.
Throwing the stick of dynamite the Watchdogs had to scatter as the dynamite blew up a nearby building.
"Does she know that we are fighting in the middle of a hurricane?!" Suki screamed as the sound of heavy winds and rain nearly drowned out her voice.
"She knows!" Shifu replied loudly as he dug his staff into the ground to prevent from being blown away. "She just doesn't care!"
Ashe fired shot after shot at the Watchdogs causing them to fall back. With the heavy rain blinding Suki, she had a hard time using her chronal accelerator making her super speed almost impossible. Her lack of speed also made her a easy target.
"Now I got you!" Ashe growled pointing her gun at Suki. Peadoby instantly rushed in and started wresting Ashe's weapon away.
"Don't you see we are in the middle of a hurricane?" Peabody growled. "You don't get out of here now you could drown."
"Your right," Ashe laughed "I could drown. B.O.B's another story though."
Suddenly, as the limo erupted into a ball of flames B.O.B came stepping out of the fire, two machine guns popped out of his wrists he started opening fire of the heroes.
"Take cover!" Peabody screamed as the Watchdogs looked for shelter.
"Get them B.O.B!" Ashe laughed as she fled to get out of the hurricane.
"She's getting away!" Tooth screamed
"Get after her, we got this!" Shifu ordered
"But what about...?"
"Focus on the mission! Ashe cannot escape! Go!"
Tooth wanted to protest further but she ultimately took to the skies to get an eye on her target, which was harder said then done with the pouring rain and heavy winds basically blinding her. Taking out her staff she used the light to guide her through the rain and allow her to see. It didn't do much for the wind though and with winds that must have been nearly ninety miles an hour she found herself struggling to fly through them.
Finally though she found Ashe, opening a storm shelter to try to get out of the hurricane, shooting straight down she crash landed onto Ashe, smashing through the door of the shelter and knocking the both of them down a flight of stairs.
Moaning, Ashe slowly picked herself up off the ground and turned toward Tooth, picked up her gun and let out a growl. "You are so going to die for that!"
"Ashe surrender now peacefully, this shelter is not going to protect you!"
"Now why the hell would I do something like that? If I'm going to die I'm taking you down with me!" Ashe pointed her gun Tooth's way. Tooth didn't have a weapon of her own besides her staff, and she doubted it would do much good against Ash's shot gun. Putting her hands up she hoped she could try to reason a little bit more with Ashe but before she could a huge gush of wind blew through and knocked them both down to the ground. Suddenly water came gushing down the stairs and into the shelter, it didn't take long for the water to start rising. Tooth looked at the speed the water was pouring in as well as the speed the water was rising below them. She judged that the entire shelter would be flooded in a little over ten minutes. If they didn't want to drown the had to evacuate and they had to evacuate fast.
"Come on," Tooth picked Ashe up the ground "We got to get out of here!"
"I don't think so!" Ashe slapped Tooth's hand away, grabbed her shotgun and pinned it against her chest, knocking Tooth against the wall. "The only way one of us is getting out of here is to kill the other!"
"If you don't put down that gun right now we will both die!"
"I can live with that, as long as you go with me!"
Tooth had enough of this, grabbing the shotgun, Tooth raised the barrel to the ceiling just as it fired. After a couple of seconds Tooth had wrestled the gun away and smashed it against the wall rendering it useless.
"No!" Ashe screamed. Growling Ashe charged Tooth and tackled her against the ground. By now the water was up to their knees standing up, giving Ashe plenty of water to try to drown Tooth with. Pinning Tooth down she attempted to hold her down long enough for her to drown. Tooth wasn't going to go down to easily and with a swift knee to the gut Tooth forced Ashe off of her allowing her to resurface and catch her breath.
Ashe was knocked backwards into a wall but she quickly regained her footing and lunged again. By now the water was up to their waist and this time when Ashe tackled them they both fell into the water.
"I'm going to murder you!" Ashe screamed and she wrapped her hands around Tooth's neck again and held her under the water, again though Tooth knocked her off, this time she was able to take a swing at Ashe and deliver a blow to the side of the head. Ashe quickly answered and delivered a more punishing blow to the gut.
With the water now to their chests Ash grabbed Tooth and pushed her entire body below the water. Tooth waved her hands above the water but this time Ashe positioned herself to where her hands wouldn't reach her.
"This time you die!" Ashe laughed.
Tooth had to think of something fast, she was losing air and would not be able to fight much longer. That is when Tooth saw her staff laying on the ground right below her, quickly grabbing it she lifted it above the water and used the lights to blind Ashe causing her to scream and release Tooth.
Quickly surfacing Tooth gasped for air, and swung her staff over Ashe's head knocking her out.
Diving under water one last time Tooth grabbed Ashe, with the water now to their neck Tooth had to hold Ashe with one hand and use the other to swim the two of them out of there, holding her staff in her teeth at the same time. Finally they were able to get out. But the hurricane was still coming down hard. Looking to her right she saw a nearby hospital. Holding Ashe in her arms Tooth ran to the hospital. Forcing the door open she held Ashe there and waited out the storm, hoping that her friends was having good luck against B.O.B.
"I can't see!" Suki screamed as she ducked behind a car. The winds were to high and the rain was to powerful. With B.O.B being a robot his eye sensors was equipped to handle any type of weather, no matter how harsh. He easily had the advantage over them and forced them all to take shelter.
"I am strong enough to handle these winds!" Peabody said as he hid behind a wall, "But I can't see past this rain for the life of me!"
"I can!" Shifu replied hiding behind the same wall as Peabody "When I was turned into a cyborg I was given one robotic eye. If I can use that to guide me, I can probably reach him!"
"Can you make it past these winds?"
"I can try, but if we sit here and do nothing B.O.B will eventually reach us."
"Good luck my friend." Peabody nodded.
Pulling out his staff, Shifu turned towards B.O.B's direction and activated his robotic eye, allowing his to see past the storm. Clenching his staff tight he leaped out from behind the wall. B.O.B turned towards him and fired everything he had at him, but with Shifu's sharp reflexes and reaction time he dodged every bullet fired his way. One even reflected off of his staff and bounced back towards B.O.B hitting one of his machine guns, damaging it and rendering it useless.
With one weapon down Shifu had all the momentum he needed. He lunged at B.O.B, swung his staff and whacked the robot against the face. He quickly followed that up with a whack across the gun. He then slammed his staff across B.O.B's other working machine gun slicing it and B.O.B's entire right hand off. With B.O.B no longer a threat Shifu swung his staff one last time, this time across B.O.B's leg knocking him off his feet. Shifu then pinned B.O.B to to the ground with his staff and stared the robot in the eyes.
"Stay down."
It was right then that everyone heard the sound of rushing water. Shifu looked up and saw a flood coming right towards them. Nobody had time to react before the flood swallowed all of them. The force from the water tossed Shifu around until he smacked into a car. Shifu had to quickly regain control of his body to force himself to swim to the surface. Where he saw Peabody also being carried away.
"Were's Suki?" Shifu asked noticing she was not with them.
"PEABODY!"
The sound of Suki screaming caused both Shifu and Peabody to turn around. Suki was holding onto a car for dear life but as the flood water reached a group of trees one of the trees crashed down on the cars carrying it and Suki down below.
"SUKI!" Peabody dived below the waters and swam until he saw the tree laying at the bottom, pinning Suki down with the car. Peabody grabbed the tree with all his might but despite all his strength he was not able to lift it. There was only one thing to do if they were going to get Suki out of there. Peabody pointed towards Suki's pocket, recognizing what Peabody was referring to, Suki pulled out one of her pulse bombs. Sticking it to the tree the mini bomb was able to blast the tree off of her allowing Suki to swim to shore. Both Suki and Peabody gasped for air as they reached the top, but they were still being swept away with the current. Thankfully Shifu had found a roof that was big enough for the three of them and as soon as Suki and Peabody reached him he lowered his staff allowing both of them to grab on while he pulled both of them to safety.
"Thanks Shifu," Suki gasped before turning to Peabody. "And thank you Peabody."
"Don't mention it."
"So how long are we stuck here?" Suki asked
"Until rescue comes I'm afraid." Shifu replied "Until rescue comes."
It wasn't until the afternoon the following day until Branch sent a rescue team to retrieve their stranded soldiers. The Hurricane had completely flooded Havana, trapping Suki, Peabody and Shifu on the roof.
As soon as a ship came to retrieve the Watchdogs, Ashes as loaded on board in handcuffs where she was interrogated the whole flight back to base.
"I am only going to ask this nicely once," Branch growled as he got into Ashe's face. "Where are you keeping the people you abducted?"
"And why would I tell you such a thing like that?"
"Because," Branch growled. "If you ever want to see the outside of a jail cell again you will spill the beans."
"I have broken out of many cells before, I'm sure I can break out of yours."
"I wouldn't be quiet sure about that love." Suki chimed in "See the cell we are putting you in was powerful enough to keep me from disappearing into thin air after I had my accident with the split sea. I'm sure it can handle someone like you."
"The choice is yours Ashe, but either way, we are finding those hostages, with or without your help."
Ashe remained quite for a moment before sighing. "They are in Mexico, in the middle of the desert."
Branch smirked "Now that wasn't so hard was it?"
"They are going to kill you," Ashe shot back "You have no idea who you are up against."
"And Creek has no idea what he is up against either." Branch shot back.
Late that following night Ashe sat alone in her cell, staring out at the night sky when suddenly she heard the sound of her cell door unlocking. She turned around but saw no one there, suddenly Creek appeared in front of her reappearing from his previous invisible form.
Ashe smirked at the sight of her superior. "Everything is going as planned Creek. They have taken the bait."
"Excellent. Then they are walking right into my trap. Sit tight for now Ashe. When the time comes you will be freed."
Creek then turned invisible again and locked the cell back up. Alone in her cell again Ashe looked out her window again and chuckled
"I told you Branch, you have no idea what you are up against, and now, you are all going to die."
Things are going to be way more epic from here on out. The slower chapters are probably done for now on. As the stakes get higher expect more epic action packed chapters from here on out.
