Gobber was still in his garage working on oiling down one of his old turrets when he heard a loud thump on his work table. Looking up he saw Pitch standing over him with what looked like a lifeless Puss laying on his work table.
"Pitch? What the hell are you doing hear?" Gobber grabbed his Rivet gun and pointed it at the man who betrayed his former team.
"Trying to save your friend's life." Pitch growled. "There was an attack, they took the girl. The two robots are at the bottom of the ditch and are in serious need of your repairs."
"What, the girl? What is going on?"
"You want to know the truth then I will tell you on one condition, you help me get revenge on the Raptors."
"Aren't you one of them?"
"I was."
"How am I supposed to trust you after you betrayed us?"
"I am trying to save your friend's life over here. You think I would go to such lengths if I was still who you see me as?"
Realizing Pitch had a point Gobber sighed. "I will patch him up the best I can. Bring me the robots while I doctor him up. Then fill me in on everything."
Pitch did as Gobber requested. As Gobber worked to try to heal Puss's wounds Pitch retrieved Rosiepuff and then Cooper. Considering Cooper's size Pitch had to borrow Gobber's truck to transport him, and even then it took a lot of work to fit him into the tailgate.
Once Pitch brought Cooper back to Gobber, Pitch spent the next hour filling Gobber in on everything that had happened to him the past nine years. From Creek's betrayal, to Creek's taking full control over the robots, to Pitch teaming up with Smidge in order to crack Creek and the Raptors down, to finding out that Creek is abducting people in order to put them under his control, then to them abducting Harper.
"What I don't get is this, why not just go back to the Watchdogs and ask for forgiveness?" Gobber asked as he worked on repairing Rosiepuff.
"You know Branch just as well as I do. You know how he holds grudges. After what I did, after I betrayed him and spent eight years with the team I swore my life to fight against, he will never take me back."
"You don't know that for sure? Sure, Branch will be pissed, sure you would have to work to gain his trust back, but the Watchdogs are more than just Branch. There is Suki, Peabody," Gobber then pointed to Puss who was still laying on the table, patched up and unconscious. "There's Puss."
"I don't got time to work to gain his trust. I'm dying Gobber." My body has been slowly decaying ever since Chef was murdered. I only have a short time to stop Creek from destroying the world.
"You can't do this alone. You need the Watchdog's help. Look, I know I am retired from the game, but based off of everything you have told me the Watchdogs might need my help after all. Let me put in a good word for you, I will tell them everything you have done, and maybe just maybe, Branch will give you a second chance."
"And what if he doesn't?"
"Then I will help you on your mission myself."
An hour later Puss woke up, he had bandages wrapped around his forehead, and abdomen and he had fresh cuts all over his body that had been cleaned. His vision was blurred as he tried to sit up, but his side started stinging instantly causing him to instantly lay back down.
"Your going to have to wait to heal before you get back out there," A voice Puss didn't expect to hear replied. As his vision cleared he saw Pitch polishing one of his guns as he sat on the table beside him. "Your very lucky to be alive."
"Your a indeed a very lucky feline Puss," Gobber replied, Puss turned his head to the right and saw Gobber working on Cooper. "If it wasn't for Pitch here you would be a dead cat for sure by now."
"Pitch?" Puss turned back to Pitch who just shrugged as he continued to clean his gun. "But? But why?"
"As I said, I'm trying to stop the Raptors too."
"Even after everything you have done to help them? They never would have become as powerful as they are now if it wasn't for you."
Pitch stopped polishing his gun for a second. Setting it down he got up from the table and slowly walked up to where Puss laid. Then he knelt down and looked Puss directly in the eye. "Now you listen here. Don't you remember almost eighteen years ago I stopped you and your entire gang after you committed armed robbery? You was dangling off the edge of a cliff, the rest of your team dead. I offered you a choice, you could turn your life around and fight for justice, or I could let you fall and let you die a criminal. You accepted my offer and became a hero for the world. I am now asking you to give me the second chance I gave you. If a cat such as you could change, what makes you think I can't too?"
Puss sighed knowing he was caught. "Branch is going to hate me for sure when he hears about this."
"Ah Branch is always a little grumpy," Gobber chimed in. "But he usually gives in at the end with a little peer pressure."
"So is that a yes?" Pitch asked.
Puss sighed "That's a yes. But if you betray us again, I will be the one that kills you myself."
Pitch just let out a chuckle. "Then what are we waiting for?"
Despite orders to return to base and form a plan to rescue the abducted, Suki decided to take matters into her own hands. Using security footage from the home security cameras she had placed throughout her house Suki got facial recognition on every Raptor agent that broke into her home and abducted her wife. Then using the facial recognition she went through all the security records in Watchdogs, FBI and Raptors databases until she could get the name of one of the agents. After a grueling search she got a name, not only did she get a name, she also got his current location. Getting everything she needed she made a quick phone call.
"Hello Guy Diamond, I need you to watch Emily for me, I got some business to take care of.
"Didn't you just last month call me a brainless buffoon that couldn't be trusted to make you a ham sandwich? And now you want me to watch your kid?"
"I need someone who won't rat me out to Branch, and you and Biggie are the only ones I can trust to keep what I am about to pull off secret. So as much as I don't like it I need you to watch her."
"I don't even know the first thing about watching a kid though."
"Just show her cartoons, feed her three times a day and put her to bed by eight. I won't be gone no more than a day hopefully."
"Very well but you owe me big time for this."
"Thank you Guy Diamond, your a life saver."
"You know that's the first complement you have ever given me."
"Don't make me take it back either."
Down in Arizona a man was driving down the interstate at a dangerous high speed, breaking several traffic safety laws along the way. This man Raptor agent Hal Stewart was also Suki's target. Hal was speeding down the highway going well over a hundred miles an hour in attempt to escape the pursuing Suki, who was going as fast as her Chronal accelerator could take her. Blinking ahead several seconds every time she started to fall behind.
"You are not getting away!" Suki screamed as she continued to chase down Hal. Leaping over a truck that stood in the way of Suki and her target she took out one of her pulse bombs, then blinking ahead in time three seconds she was able to reach Hal's vehicle long enough to stick her pulse bomb to the hood of the car. Then blinking backwards three seconds she watched from a safe distance as the bomb erupted, flipping the car on it's hood and sliding into the dividers as the car came to a halt.
Suki walked slowly over to the car as Hal crawled his way out of the burning vehicle. Looking up at the Troll approaching him his eyes lit up in fear when he saw her take out her pulse pistols.
"Oh no, please don't? Please?" Hal screamed before Suki shot him three times in each leg, crippling him. Screaming in agony Hal begged for mercy as Suki grabbed him by the shoulders and started dragging him away.
"Please don't I'll do anything, please show mercy!"
"Did you show mercy to my wife when she was pleading?! DID YOU!?" Suki screamed as she smashed Hal head into the concrete dividers.
"Please don't kill me, I was only following orders."
"Oh I'm not going to kill you right now, cause your going to give me answers, but your fate as it stands, is very much in the air." With that Suki whipped her pistol over Hal's head before taking out her phone and calling Biggie.
"Biggie, I need you to meet me at the Grand Canyon, tell no one and bring me a trolley and lots of explosions."
"How much explosions?"
"As many as you can get your hands on."
"And just what do you need these for?"
"I'll let you in when you get there."
When Hal woke up he found himself chained to a trolley along with twenty pounds of explosives. If that wasn't the worst part, the front wheels of the trolley was dangling over the edge of the grand canyon.
"Wait?" Hal pleaded "No, no, your insane. YOUR INSANE!"
"I must admit Suki," Biggie replied as he watched Hal dangling over the canyon tied to a trolley filled with explosives. "I never pictured you of all trolls to have a psychotic side. I'm actually impressed."
"This man is responsible for my wife being abducted. I will go to whatever lengths necessary to get her back."
Suki walked up to Hal and as she lit a match she held it up to Hal's face as the Raptor agent sobbed with fear. "Here's how it's going to work punk, you are going to tell me where they are taking my wife, along with every other damn person you have abducted, and you are going to tell me right now. Otherwise, this match is going to light up every last explosion on this here trolley, and you are going to be pushed off the edge of this cannon and we are going to watch as you and the trolley explode and scatter all across the bottom of the cannon. Pieces of you will be scattered for miles until the birds find you and make a feast out of you. So tell me Hal, where are they taking my wife?"
Between sobs Hal found himself stuttering out the location. "S...Santa Fe. Creek has set up a second base in Ashe's old Hideout in Santa Fe New Mexico. That is where he moved everyone when you tracked down his old Base in Mexico."
"Thank you," Suki grinned as she put out the match. Then letting out a smirk she turned to Biggie. "Would you like to do the honors love?"
Biggie chuckled as he lit another match and approached the cart.
"Wait?" Hal screamed "Wait, wait? I thought you would let me go if I spilled the beans."
"I said your fate was in the air," Suki replied "I never promised for sure I would let you go."
"SUKI STOP!" Looking up at the sky Suki gasped when she saw Hiccup and Astrid both flying down towards her on their dragons.
"I thought I said don't tell anyone!" Suki snapped at Biggie's direction.
"He didn't." Hiccup replied. "When you refused to show up back at base Branch figured you was out to seek revenge on your wife. He bugged everyone's phone without them even noticing in hopes that you would reach out to someone in order to get a read on your location. When you told Biggie to meet you at the Grand Canyon he sent me and Astrid to retrieve you."
"Suki, I know you are upset," Astrid pleaded "I know what this man did to your wife, but what you are doing, it's not justice. It's vengeance."
"Well at least my way is getting answers!" Suki screamed "Branch tried his way, and look where it got us?"
"So you are just going to throw away your morals?" Hiccup chastised.
"He took my wife, hurt my daughter! He doesn't deserve anything except what I am about to give him!"
"I know," Astrid replied "I know he doesn't deserve to live. But this, this isn't the way. He will stand trial for what he has done. He will be convicted and sentenced properly."
"Suki please," Hiccup begged "If you do this, it will destroy your mind. It will haunt you and you will stick with you forever. Don't destroy yourself Suki, not for him. Lena wouldn't want that."
"I want to," Suki cried looking down at Hal who was still sobbing in fear. "I really want to."
"I know," Astrid replied "Trust me, I don't blame you, if I was in your shoes I would feel the same way. But the long term affects this will have on you, it will destroy you."
"Think about Lena Suki, think about Emily," Hiccup added. "They wouldn't want you to do this."
Fighting her desire and what was right Suki eventually sighed and lifted the trolley and pulled it safely on firm ground.
"You made the right decision Suki," Hiccup smiled.
Suddenly to the surprise of everyone, Hal started laughing. "You fool. To afraid to do what must be done. That is why the Raptors are winning, that is why the Raptors will win. Your wife, when we are done with her she will murder you. She will stand over your bloody corpse and the last thing you will see is her shotgun staring you in the eyes before she spills your brains on the floor. Then after she's killed you, she will go after your daughter and kill her too."
Suddenly, Suki snapped. Lighting a match Suki lit the fuse on the explosives and pushed the trolley over the edge, much to the horror of Hiccup and Astrid.
"NO!" Hiccup and Astrid both screamed.
There was nothing that they could do. Within three seconds after going over the edge the trolley exploded, and nothing but a giant fireball remained.
Realizing what she had just did Suki fell to her knees, staring down at her hands her mind raced as she came to terms with that fact that she murdered a defenseless person in cold blood. Then, Suki screamed at the sky before burying her head in her hands and wept, as Hiccup and Astrid did their best to comfort her.
"You will be okay Suki," Astrid whispered "You will be okay."
"I murdered someone," Suki sobbed "I just murdered someone!"
Down in Ashe's old hideout Jo, Harper, Lena and millions of others were being lined up as Raptor agents and robots surrounded them all armed with heavy assault rifles. To say they were scared would be an understatement. While Jo and Harper had witnessed the Raptors attacks before there was always someone there to protect them from getting harmed. There was no one here to help them this time, and as the robots forced them to move, their hands and feet in shackles the fear of there demise were growing every second.
"What do you think they are going to do to us?" Jo asked Harper.
"I don't know?" Harper gulped.
Lena was sobbing at the thought of never seeing Emily again. "No, my child, please! I have a child."
"Shut up!" One of the Raptors shouted as they forced the line along.
Finally the abducted was forced to stop as they reached a giant stage. Then Creek walked up holding a megaphone in his hand as he addressed the crowd.
"People, people keep calm, you should all be thankful, for you are the lucky ones. From this day forward you will all be under Raptors control, and you will help me rebuild the world."
"What is he talking about?" Lena asked Jo, who only shrugged.
"For now on, you will fight for me, serve me, and obey my every command. From this day forward, you are a Raptor."
"And what if we refuse?" Harper snapped back.
Creek just chuckled at Harper's response. "Oh I'm afraid you can't refuse, because you see..." Creek then snapped his finger then a robot forced Harper to her knees as he injected a syringe in the back of her head that injected a small microscopic chip into her brain. "You know longer have any control over your bodies."
Jo and Lena gasped in horror as Harper's eyes lit up yellow before bowing towards Creek.
Suddenly everyone else was forced to their knees as robots and Raptor agents injected every last one of them with the microchip that put them under Creek's control.
Creek smiled as Lena and Jo's eyes lit up, signalling they were under his control. As they bowed toward him Creek just chuckled
"Welcome to the Raptor's brothers and sisters."
*Changes all the locks and bolts on my bunker doors so Jo doesn't get in and throttle me*
In all seriousness you know I love you Jo.
