Nora's POV
Ren and I were in our dorm room in Atlas.
"Check it out Ren", I said excitedly as I held up my new combat gear.
"It looks great", Ren stated before going back to looking at himself in the mirror. "Hey Nora?"
"Yeah", I asked.
"I was wondering", Ren started. "Do you think I should cut my hair?"
"Huh", I said. "Why cut your hair?"
"It's gotten very long", Ren pointed out. "I'm worried it may become an issue in battle."
With that, I started thinking.
Then...I got an idea.
"I got it", I said suddenly. "Sit down!"
"Huh", Ren said. "Why?"
"Just do it", I commanded.
"Okay", Ren said. "Okay. I'm sitting."
With that, Ren sat down cross legged on the floor.
I did the same behind him and began working my magic.
"What are you doing", Ren asked.
"Just working some patent Nora Valkyrie magic", I replied.
"Now I'm scared", Ren stated.
"Oh shush you", I commanded.
Then, I continued to work my magic, and Ren seemed to realize what I was doing.
"Are you braiding my hair", he asked.
"Yep", I replied. "This way you can still keep your lovely locks, but you won't have to worry about it bothering you in battle. Clever huh? Huh?"
"Yes Nora", Ren replied. "It's very clever."
Hearing this caused me to clear my throat.
"Correction", Ren said. "You're very clever."
Hearing this made me giggle before I continued to braid Ren's hair.
"And...done", I said when I had finished. "What do you think?"
With that, I passed Ren a handheld mirror so he could look at his new due.
"You like it", I asked. "Yeah, you like it."
"I do", Ren replied. "Thanks Nora."
With that, I smiled at Ren.
Then, I hugged him from behind and rested my head on his shoulder.
"You look very handsome", I stated.
"Thanks", Ren replied.
Then, without even thinking, I kissed his cheek.
He looked at me in shock while I just smiled at him.
Then, Jaune walked into the room.
"Hey guys", he greeted.
"Hey look Ren", I said excitedly before jumping onto my feet. "Jaune changed up his hair too!"
"Huh", Jaune said in confusion before getting a closer look at Ren. "Oh yeah. Did you do that Nora?"
"Sure did", I replied proudly. "Ren didn't want to worry about his long locks getting in his way in battle, so I worked a bit a bit of Nora magic on him!"
"Yeah", Jaune said. "That's why I changed up my hair too."
"Well", I started. "You both look great! Now I need to go and change my outfit so I can look great too!"
"You already look great Nora", Ren stated.
And I don't think he meant to, cause his face went red when he did.
"Thanks", I said as my face went red too. "Well, gotta go! Bye!"
With that, I grabbed my outfit before yeeting myself out of the room.
"Nora", Oscar said in concern when he saw me. "Are you okay?"
"Oscar", I started. "Never get feelings. They make everything confusing."
