Wawanakwa gone wild

Besides reusing challenges from previous seasons, I'm also reusing the funny scenes, though with some changes. While the Miraculous suits are resistant to damage, protect their wearers, and enhance their physical attributes, the same cannot be said for the Guardians'(though in the first issue Will says she feels faster, but it's not brought up again, and many fanfics say that in Guardian form they're more resistant to injury but it doesn't say so in the comics). The Guardians do have the Gift of Xin Jing which heals imperfections, such as Taranee's blurry eyesight, over time, but not much is known about it(they give it away to heal a little boy, but it looks like they get it back). They also have many secondary powers, like transfiguration, but they aren't explained. I want one of the WITCH girls to win, but I don't have a clear favorite, and I want it to be realistic, so it's hard to choose.

"Last time on Magical Girl Island," Chris narrated, "the teams played dodgeball. The Guardians won spectacularly by combining their powers and sending the balls flying at and even following the other team. Alix was voted off since her teammates decided that her powers wouldn't be useful, and I have to agree. There would be no point to these challenges if she could travel in time and see how to win them. Who will be voted off next? Find out now on Magical... Girl...Island!"

Theme Song

We were ordinary teenage girls,

Then we got powers to save the world,

We used to have secret identities

Now there are no more mysteries

Now that we are famous

We ran out of monsters to defeat

So we can't wait to compete

It's Miraculouses vs. W.I.T.C.H.

And one of us will end up rich

Now that we are famous

Now that we, now that we

Now that we are famous!

Now that we, now that we

Now that we are famous!

The two teams of girls were walking to the main lodge and chatting amiably. Just because they were competing didn't mean they couldn't be friends, and they were helping each other improve their foreign language skills. Marinette and Will were talking about the hardships of being the leader when Will's foot got caught in some rope and she was yanked upside down while the others were caught in a large wooden cage.

"It's time for your next challenge, campers, or should I say trappers," Chris said as he appeared with a beaver on his head and a knife in his hand. Taking the beaver into his arms, he continued as he started walking, "let's chat about it over chow."

"He's going to untrap us, right?" Will asked worriedly. In answer, Chris's knife flew towards her and cut the rope around her foot. She landed on the cage with a thump, causing it to open.

"Today's challenge is to trap an animal and bring it to the campfire unharmed," Chris said. "You have eight hours to catch your animal, though I doubt you need that long."

"I may have to barbecue my animal just to get some variety," Taranee grumbled.

"Funny you should mention that," Chris said, "since the winning team gets an all you can eat pizza, pasta. and salad buffet. When we're outside the boathouse I'll explain the rules."

When everyone was outside the boathouse, Chris held out a hat with slips of paper in it and said, "each of you will choose an animal from this hat. You may help your teammates find their animal, but you must catch it and bring it to the cage by the campfire by yourself. The first team to get all their animals into the cage wins. And of course, all powers are acceptable. Now choose an animal assignment."

One by one, everyone picked a slip of paper and read their animal out loud.

"Chipmunk," Marinette read.

"Duck," Taranee said.

"Frog!" Will squealed.

"Raccoon," said Kagami.

"Bunny!" Hay Lin said excitedly.

"Beaver," Irma said thoughtfully.

"Bear?" Alya said in disbelief. "Everyone gets cute little animals and I get a bear?"

"It's the only animal left," Chris said with a shrug. "Besides, you have magical powers."

"Well, we are supposed to bring the animal back unharmed, and that might be hard for me as the Guardian of Fire," Taranee said.

"You do have one minute to look in the boathouse for anything that can help you if you think you need it," Chris said, "but you need to use your powers in some way, since that's the whole point of this competition."

In the boathouse, the girls were looking for helpful items. Sure, they probably didn't need them, but it couldn't hurt. "This bucket has some fish in it, and bears like fish," Marinette told Alya, "though it was probably here for a while," she continued. Then, looking at Kagami who was holding a sledgehammer, she asked, "do you really need that?"

Kagami shrugged and, after looking around, picked up a net.

After some thought, Will picked an empty bucket.

"Duck bait. I can use that," Taranee said as she picked up the bag.

Irma grabbed a few boxes that were stacked on top of each other and ran out with them, then began looking through them. "Score!" she said as she picked up a tranquilizer gun.

"Okay,"Chris said as the other girls came out, "time to start trapping! And by the way, the losing team has to clean the communal bathroom."

Alya walked nervously to the bear cave; sure, her magic suit would protect her, but that didn't mean she wanted to tangle with a bear.

Will went to the swampy part of the island with a big grin on her face. She had always liked frogs, but while she had a lot of frog items, she never got around to getting the real thing. Spying one, she tried to coax it into the bucket. The frog kept on hopping away, however, and Will followed it, ending up in a surprisingly deep puddle.

Marinette had found a chipmunk on a branch and was slowly crawling towards it. The chipmunk stared at her, then jumped on her head then onto the tree and ran down it. "Hey," Marinette protested, then she yelped as the branch broke. After catching herself by hooking her yo-yo around another branch, she jumped down and chased the chipmunk.

Irma held her tranquilizer gun as she went to the beaver dam. She didn't think she'd need it, but she didn't want them having a chance of using those teeth on her. "Alright, who wants to come with me?" she asked as she poked her head inside. "If one of you doesn't, I'll get angry, and you don't want me getting angry." The beavers just turned around and slapped her face with their tails.

Kagami had found a raccoon and was trying to catch it. To her surprise, dozens of raccoons appeared and climbed onto each other, making a robot-like shape. They then started chasing her, while firing raccoons at her head.

Taranee had found a duck, and had lured it to her with the bait. She was about to grab it when it looked at her and ran off in the fashion of the cartoon roadrunner. "What the heck?" she exclaimed in disbelief, then took off after it.

Hay Lin had found a bunny, and was trying to catch it. She was thinking what to do when a screaming Alya came running past her as a bear ran after her, intent on getting her bag of marshmallows she had made with Mirage.

"Open the cage, open the cage!" Alya screamed. Hay Lin used her powers to do so, and Alya sent the fake bag into the cage. The bear dove into the cage after it, and Hay Lin used wind to throw the bunny in then close the door. The bear growled as the bag disappeared, then started shaking the cage. Hay Lin concentrated, and a real bag of marshmallows appeared in her hands. She opened it and tossed it inside, and the bear pounced on it. He finished it quickly and growled for another. To keep him in there, Hay Lin was kept busy conjuring up and giving him bags of marshmallows.

"Open the cage!" Marinette yelled as she came chasing the chipmunk. As Chris opened it, she grabbed the chipmunk with her yo-yo string and threw it in there. The cage had just been closed when Taranee, who came running up so fast that flames were shooting out behind her, shouted for them to open it. As Chris did so, she sprinkled bait inside it, the duck ran into it, and the cage was closed.

The cage was opened again as Kagami came running up with a raccoon on her head that she tore off and dumped inside, and again when Irma came strolling up while levitating a tranquilized beaver that she dumped inside.

"So where's Will?" Chris asked. "Not that it matters, since Team Ladybug won," he added. His question was answered when Will came walking up while talking to the frog in her bucket.

"What took so long?" Taranee asked.

"Well, you know how much I like frogs and I saw the cutest blue one and, well… I just had to play with him," a sheepish Will replied.

"Since Team Ladybug won, you can just bring him back to the swamp," Chris said. "The rest of you can open the cage and release the animals, then Team Guardians needs to decide who they're voting off."

Confession Cam

Taranee: Will is my best friend, but I have to vote her off. Now that everyone knows how much she likes frogs, Chris can use that to distract her in a different challenge.

Irma: I say Will. Besides for the frog thing, Hay Lin is my best friend and Taranee is the smart one.

Hay Lin: Is the bear gone? He's been following me around and forcing me to get him marshmallows. I blew him way back into the forest, but he's persistent. Anyway, Irma is my best friend and Taranee is the smart one, so I guess Will.

At the campfire that night, Chris stood with a plate of marshmallows and said, "one of you will be going home tonight, never to return. Ever. Here's a marshmallow for… Hay Lin, for… Taranee, and… for Irma. Will, time to walk down the Dock of Shame and board the Boat of Losers."

Will waved to her friends as she did so, then as the boat got further away, turned and hid a smile with her hand. Thanks to a telepathic conversation with Cornelia, she knew about the Playa Des Losers.

"So now, each team is down to three members. Does anyone else notice a pattern?" Chris said. "In any case," he continued, "what challenge will they have next, and who will be voted off? Find out next time on Magical...Girl...Island!"

The girls can talk to each other telepathically over very long distances, they even talk to Hay Lin when she's in China! Though their identities are known to the public in this story, not everything is. One episode has the bear steal bags of marshmallows, though he wasn't able to eat them. Will's love for frogs in the comics is shown by stuffed versions and pictures and the like, but she never tries to get a pet one. The teens of TD most probably had leisure time after challenges, so in this story, they spent their time practicing their English and French, and Hay Lin and Kagami taught Chinese and Japanese to anyone who wanted to learn. In one issue, Taranee is running so fast that flames appeared in back of her. We also see Will and Cornelia use their magic to levitate and move things, so probably the other girls can do so as well. Irma conjures up a motorcycle in one issue, so probably the other girls can conjure up things.
