Just a few reminders; this is an AU, this season is after the first five and this Wawanakwa Island is a robotic one. The Guardians are in their New Power forms though the Oracle didn't give them their weapons yet. The Guardians also have a variety of other powers like telepathy(Taranee) and telekinesis(Cornelia) and teleportation(all of them), and it's implied that they have enhanced speed but it's only mentioned in the first issue. In the previous chapters, I called the Miraculous girls by their hero names when they were transformed, and in this chapter and the others I'll continue to so. The Miraculous gang are also older and don't have to worry about the time limit.
"Last time on Magical Girl Island," Chris summarized, "the girls stuffed themselves with chocolate cake then had to go up the thousand-foot-high mountain while dodging boulders. Then they had to jump into the water, get their canoes which were on the lake bottom and full of rocks, bring the canoes to the surface, and race around the island while being chased by sharks. It was a pretty close race, but the Guardians won, and Kagami was voted off. What will they do next? Find out now on Magical... Girl... Island!"
"Welcome to Playa Des Losers!" Chris said as he smiled into the camera while standing near a pool in a luxurious resort. "Here is where the losers are sent to recuperate so they can get ready to challenge the remaining players. Anything you want to say to the final five?" he asked the girls since they were in and around the pool.
"What I want to say," Will said, "is that even though this place is amazing, you should do your best to win."
"Likewise. Go Alya and Marinette!" Alix cheered.
"Irma, Taranee, and Hay Lin, show them what Guardians are made of!" Cornelia commanded.
"Does anyone want to make a bet?" Alix asked
"Okay, let's go to the challenge," Chris said as the girls got into a heated argument over who would win and why.
"This challenge," Chris said when all the girls were assembled near a boxing ring, "is to win a fight against one of the losers. It will be one one on one, and to win, Team Ladybug has to win at least one fight, and Team Guardians has to win at least two. This wheel will decided who you'll fight. To win, you have to knock the other girl out of the ring or incapacitate her for ten seconds. Winners first. Which Guardian will be the first?"
Hay Lin stepped forward and spun the wheel, which landed on Queen Bee.
"While all powers are acceptable, even flying, this is a friendly fight, so no maiming. Also, this is a magic fight, so only use your powers and weapons," Chris said as both of them got into the ring. "Start!" he said as he blew an air-horn.
Queen Bee immediately flung her string out to entangle the other girl, but Hay Lin used wind to send it flying back. Hay Lin then used wind to try to blow Queen Bee away, but the other girl just jumped into the air and yelled "Venom!" then flung her top's string towards Hay Lin again.
Hay Lin just sent a much stronger blast of wind that not only repelled the string again but caused it to wrap around Queen Bee, causing her hand to touch her body which paralyzed her.
"And first point goes to the Guardians," Chris announced as Queen Bee grumbled.
Ladybug then spun the wheel, and it landed on Will.
"The two leaders fighting, this will certainly be interesting," Chris remarked as the two girls got into the ring. At Chris's signal they began to fight.
Will began with a magical blast, which the other girl easily avoided.
Ladybug then tried to tangle Will up in her yo-yo string, but Will just grabbed it as it came towards her and used it to yank her towards her. As soon as she was close enough, Ladybug just ran around Will, looped the string around her and yanked, causing Will to fall down with her arms pinned.
Pink sparks started to remove Ladybug's yo-yo string, but Ladybug held on and tried to keep the string around Will. The tug-of-war between Will's magic and Ladybug's super-strength ended with Ladybug being thrown out of the ring by Will's magical force.
"The score is in the Guardian's favor as they still lead by one point," Chris announced. "Which Guardian will spin the wheel?" he continued. Taranee went and spun the wheel, which landed on Ryuko.
The two girls got into the ring and began to fight. Ryuko easily avoided Taranee's fire, then whipped out her sword, causing Taranee to block the swings with energy beams.
Ryuko then forced Taranee to the ropes in order to throw her over them, but the Fire Guardian just lit her whole body on fire, which made Ryuko pause for a moment.
Before both girls could do anything else, Chris pressed a button on the remote he was holding which caused a platform with a mutant fire-breathing flower on it to rise to the top.
"No one else had to fight a mutant," Ryuko complained as she jumped to avoid the fire it breathed at them(Taranee of course didn't care about the fire).
"All the other fights were so short, I needed to add something," Chris said. "Now make this a little longer, please."
Ryuko insulted Chris in Japanese as she jumped again as the flower breathed fire at her again while Taranee shot fireballs at her as well. Getting sick of all the fire thrown at her, Ryuko used her Wind Dragon in midair to turn into wind and carry Taranee(who wasn't on fire anymore) over the ropes and drop her out of the ring.
"The score is still in favor of the Guardians, but will they win?" Chris said. "Now," he continued, "after Rena Rouge spins, Irma will as well, and they'll fight their opponents at the same time. The flower will stay here to add some excitement."
Rena spun and the wheel landed on Cornelia. Irma then spun, and it landed on Bunnyx. The four girls got into the ring and began to fight. Or tried to, since the flower was breathing fire at them.
Right away, Irma sent a jet of water at it, drenching it and putting out the fire, and Cornelia followed up with a green ray of magic that returned it to Boney Island.
"Oh come on, couldn't you have fought it for at least a minute?" Chris complained.
The four girls ignored him as they began to fight.
Cornelia started with a blast of green magic which Rena Rouge easily avoided.
Rena Rouge put her flute to her lips, but was interrupted by vines that curled around her feet and started to carry her over the ropes. Rena ripped the vines off of her and jumped, played her flute in midair, and cast Mirage when she landed, which caused multiple copies of her to appear.
Cornelia just summoned enough vines for all of them, which caused the copies to vanish when the vines touched them. She also made the vines much stronger, and they succeeded in carrying Rena Rouge over the ropes.
Irma clenched her teeth as Bunnyx popped in and out of her Burrow; she was a Guardian of Kandrakar, and she wasn't going to lose to a rabbit-themed superhero of all people! Concentrating, she surrounded herself in a column of water and sent water tentacles to chase Bunnyx.
Bunnyx easily avoided the tentacles at first, but they became faster and longer. Then they started turning to sharp icicles, and Bunnyx had to think twice before coming out of her Burrow. Her magic suit didn't cover her face and she didn't want to get scratched there. She still popped in and out of her Burrow, but with her open umbrella in front of her face.
Irma stopped making icicles and ice, and concentrated on using the water molecules in the air to track Bunnyx and then making them gather on her suit. She then froze the water on Bunnyx'ss suit, causing her to look at herself in surprise. With Bunnyx distracted, Irma took the opportunity to encase her in a block of ice.
"Another point goes to the Guardians, which makes them the winners!" Chris announced ten seconds later. "Rena Rouge and Ladybug, you need to decide who will stay and who will be voted off."
That night, Chris stood by the fire, a lone marshmallow on his plate. "The marshmallow goes to… Marinette!" he announced, then tossed Marinette her marshmallow.

Alya: It just made sense for Marinette to stay, since her weapon and power are much more useful. It still is three to one, but she's great at figuring things out.
Will: My team did great today! I'm sure they'll win the next challenge, especially if it's three against one.
Irma: Did you see how I froze Bunnyx like that? I was nervous since I don't make ice so much, but it worked perfectly!
Alya gave Marinette a hug, then walked down the Dock of Shame and onto the Boat of Losers.
Chris turned to the camera and said, "now it's three Guardians against Marinette. Will she lose the next challenge, or will she find a way to win? Find out next time on Magical..Girl...Island!"
This chapter was so hard to write. Both teams of girls are experienced and powerful, but they don't see each other as enemies and won't fight their hardest. The Guardians are more likely to win since they each have a variety of powers, but they usually stick to their elements and energy beams in combat which can be avoided by people who are fast and agile enough like the Miraculous holders. Some of the Miraculous gang's powers are more suited to defend themselves or distract enemies than for actual combat, and it takes them a few seconds to call upon their special power and some of them need their weapon to use their power. The Guardians can use their powers instantly, and while they sometimes gesture it seems they don't need their hands to use their magic. Irma can also make ice after New Power, though it's not clear if she needs her tambourine to do so. The Guardians' elemental powers can also be used in very creative ways, and in this universe, they worked on that. I'd love to know your thoughts on who should win next and if you think different people should've won.
