It was just another normal day for Miles Tails Prower, he was visiting Station Square and minding his own business. Not only that, but today marked the anniversary of when he saved the city from a missile attack and Eggman's Egg Walker.

There would be a festival to commemorate that in the night after sundown, Tails, of course, was the guest of honor and he could not miss that. However, today had a big surprise for the two tailed fox hero boy.

As Sonic's sidekick left the library after finding a new book to read, he spotted a strange figure close by, a dark cloaked figure. Eyebrows raised and ears perked up, Tails crossed the street and approached the mysterious figure on the other side.

Just as he got close to the mystery figure, the being threw down his hood, revealing the dark green skinned and red-haired face of a man with yellow eyes. The man cackled and held up his fist, a triangle symbol glowing on it.

Whoa, Tails thought with confusion and shock as everyone else watched the scene. The fox backed up as the mysterious man rose up into the air and screamed as he was enveloped in a strange light, soon changing into something... SOMETHING HIDEOUS!

The light faded and structure and concrete rumbled as the gigantic boar like beast that had once been a man grew to size, drawing swords and standing up. The creature looked at Tails, eyes narrow with hate and rage.

People shrieked and ran for shelter, someone proclaimed, "ITS GANON!"

Ganon? Tails thought, preparing for battle, Now we know each other.

The beast man known as Ganon marched towards the fox, ready to destroy him. Tails felt terrified, almost wanting to call Sonic for help but had to remind himself that he couldn't just depend on him forever. Tails had no choice, he had to fight.

The fox ducked as Ganon swung his sword and tried to take his head off, Tails ran to get some distance and flew into the air as he thought of a strategy to beat Ganon. Whoever this guy was, he was nothing like Eggman or Chaos, he was a completely different monster.

He heard a roar behind him, followed by footsteps, Ganon was chasing him. Tails swooped down towards his foe, swerving to avoid getting shishkabobed by Ganon's swords, before landing behind him and attacked what he thought was the weak spot: The beast's tail.

Ganon screamed and stumbled, Tails watched and realized he'd truly just found one of his opponent's weak points. He decided to go for the legs next and ran up, twirling like a twister with his tails thanks to the Rhythm Badge.

Before the beast could regain balance, Tails spun between his legs and struck the left and the right, unbalancing Ganon and knocking him over into a building and a sign post. Tails thought it was over, but the beast roared and got up, eyes blazing with rage.

The demon of destruction wheeled around and charged for Tails, roaring with anger. The fox boy made a run for it, taking to the air and flew over the city as Ganon tried to catch him. He flew over the rooftops, trying to escape.

No, Tails wasn't being a coward, he was fighting but was looking for a vantage point and a way to defeat the beast who'd come to Station Square to wreck havok, but what did he want with the brave fox aside from seeking a challenge to face.

He felt a bit nervous; his furry skin was crawling and his forehead was beaded with sweat as his heart pounded in the ribcage. Yet Tails was motivated to fight, he could not let anyone down and allow Ganon to get what he wanted.

A roar bellowed close behind him and the fox turned to see that the demonic beast had climbed up on the rooftops, bellowing with furious might. Ganon pounded on his torso, pointing one of his swords and egging him to come back and fight.

I was gonna do just that, you kaiju-y maniac. Tails thought and swooped down, charging into the fray again and divebombed the demon warrior, narrowly evading getting hit by Ganon's swords, knowing that the blades probably hurt like mad.

Using his intelligent mind, Tails pulled out one of his inventions, the Tails cannon, and slapped it on his arm over his hand. He took aim at Ganon and started shooting him in the face right between the eyes. "AHHHHRROOOOO!" The demon hollered.

Filled with confidence and determination, Tails flew in and punched Ganon in the face and the jaw while kicking him in the gut before attacking the legs and the tail. Despite being strong, it was written on the wall that Ganon was no match for the two tailed fox.

Tails knew it, as he attacked his foe head on enough times, he could see that Ganon was growing tired and couldn't seem to take it anymore. All that the fox had to do was finish the fight and take him down, but how was he going to accomplish the seemingly impossible?

As if the universe could hear his thoughts and would answer his mentally asked question, a purple handled silver bladed sword appeared out of nowhere and descended from the sky towards the two tailed fox, making Tails curious even as he obtained the weapon.

"Use it." Said a voice, "It will finish the evil king." 'Ok then.' Tails thought, holding the weapon with both hands. He flew in at Ganon, swinging the sword and attacking his head, plunging the blade of the weapon... right between the eyes.

Lightning flashed and the beast howled, staggering around, collapsing onto the ground as green blood oozed out of his wound. Tails watched with triumph as he relished in his victory over the seemingly undefeatable enemy and Ganon faded out of existence...
