Spring 22nd

A couple days later Frey was truly back to her normal self thanks to Leon of course but whenever she thought of that night it made her blush a lot. She would sometimes hid her face and couldn't focus on what she was doing right now. Heck she almost spilled all the water from the water pot just so she can sprinkle the fields. Currently she only had a totally two and planning to get more in the future but now two was enough. She then went into her monster barn and took care of her monsters. That was hard to do, all of her tasks were super hard to do and the day barely begun. She sighed this was just so hard, that little kiss she did really made her flustered. After she was finished Frey walked into her room for a bit and grabbed her diary going back through pages and spotted to the day she rescued Leon. She could remember like it was yesterday.

-flashback-

After defeating the monster that the guardian was link to there he floated above her. She tried so hard to run but there was nothing she could do and then it all made sense of why the guardians chose to save Venti instead of living their life. She then threw the return ring and the rune sphere. Frey then watch as he awoke, "What?" He then stared at her, "Leon I'm an earth mate I was the one who rescued you and soon you return to the real world but before you do please tell Venti this for me. Tell her thank you for being my friend." Then before Leon could say any other words he vanished and now Frey was forever stuck in the forest of beginnings. She just sat there knowing that she would die here until she heard through her head, "My goodness." Until she saw Venti float down and sat in front of her, "Venti." "What you so shock to see me that cat got your tongue." Frey softly cried, "Are you alright?" "Of course I'm alright I gain most of my power back. And your an idiot." Frey just gasped, "Stupid how could you come into the forest of beginnings you know how crazy that sounds." "Sorry but what was I supposed to do I can't just watch you suffer anymore." Venti sighed, "What am I going to do with you."

"How did you even get here?" Venti then explained to her that the charm she held was also in a way a part of Venti. "Why do you think I told you to think of it as a charm I always know where you'll be even in other world places." Frey couldn't believe it all this time Venti was watching over her, she smiled. "Well come on let's get you home everyone is worried about you." Then Frey went onto her back and Venti brought the two of them home. Venti made a promise that she was tired of losing people most important to her and Frey became super important to her, a very close friend that the promise she made was to save someone by her own hands. Venti was happy that she got there in time or Frey could have been lost for good. Once they landed Frey got off her back and Leon greeted them. "I see that your back." "Hmm well it's good to see you too Leon how long how it's been since we last spoke." Leon just smirked, "Too long." Venti then looked down, "I'm sorry I never wanted you to do that for me nor did I ever thank you." Leon just chuckled, "Don't it was my own decision no matter what you said to me what not have made a difference besides you grown mature" then the dragon saw him wink. "Well looks like you haven't change at all."

The man then turned to the earth mate, "I should thank you too earth mate because of you I get to finally talk with Venti and my fellow guardians and finally be free. Please tell me your name." "Frey" "Frey I will definitely remember your name" then Leon left to go looked at the outside world. He's been asleep for so long that a lot of things must have change. He smiled, "I'll see you two ladies later if your looking for me I'll be staying at the inn for the time being." Then finally walk out.

Frey smiles at the memory, even now Leon hasn't change since they first met. She smiled, Leon had become super special to her and yes before she knew it the girl develop a crush on him. It happen during an event called A day in Leon's life or thats how she put it in her diary. The entry was very specific in detail on how the day went and the moment Frey finally talk to him is when she realize that man knew she had been following him. Gods she was so embarrassed but then her face turned red to what he told her, "If you wanted to hang out with me or speak with me you could have just said so I would have gladly taken you up on that offer" and just gave a smirk. She smiled at all the memories and now she finally kiss him well it technically wasn't a real kiss but it was the small feelings that she let escape.

Soon she found herself at his room, knocking on his door. Leon opened it and smiled, seeing her face. "Well good morning Frey what brings you to my place at this hour. Is it so you can watch me sleep some or secretly watch me in the baths." Her face turned red, "What?! None of those things I came here because I wanted to tell you something." Leon then noticed how serious she became and knew that the time for teasing was over for now. Then after taking a huge sigh is when Frey turned to him and said, "I love you." He thought she was going to say something else but this, "Are you serious?" Then her face started to go dark from how heavy she was blushing, "Yes I'm serious." Leon knew what he had to say but for her, "I see well...um let me think about what you told me okay meet me at Selphia Town Square at 10 tomorrow then I'll give you my answer okay."

Leon watch as she left his room, he knew that her heart must be racing now giving her mind all the what if scenarios. That thought made Leon chuckle but boy was he extremely happy, to hear her finally confess to him was like a dream come true he thought for sure that Frey was in love with Dylas, he was good man at heart but yet here she was confessing to him of all people. He knew the moment he saw her that she would definitely be an interesting character and Frey didn't disappoint which was why tomorrow was going to break her heart. He would confess his feelings but they wouldn't be able to date. He punch the wall lightly hated that he made that promise. He was stupid when he was younger, why was this so hard on him. 'Frey please don't hate me tomorrow I truly do love you but I can't date yet or even marry you I'm so sorry.'

-the next day-

The moment arrived when the hour hit 10 and Leon was had been waiting since 9. He got here why too early but apparently he wasn't the only who got here early to because there in front of him stood Frey. "May I here your answer Leon." Leon just looked at her, "Are you truly serious about this?" Frey just looked at him and nods, "Very serious." Leon just stared at her he could see that she was very serious about this and every part him wanted to say let's start dating but he couldn't. He was seriously truly a moron, he would have an amazing girlfriend. "I see well I have to give you an equally serious answer. I can't go out with you." He then saw her face slowly drain of life, no he didn't want that he had to think of something quick. "I don't hate you I could never hate you not after all you taught me. You taught me what it means to truly care for someone and to see just how much feelings can't be denied. To be honest I never imagine what it would be like." Frey then looked at up, "Then..." "But I can't date you because I can't marry you. I decided long ago that I would not get married and thus I can't date you" why did fate have to be so cruel to him he had an amazing girl confess her feelings but what happen before he became a guardian, gods he truly hated himself. "Even if I chose to go out with you I can never really be together with you. So do you understand what I'm trying to say please just give up on me. Though we can still be friends where it doesn't involve marriage."

Frey just stood there listen to him however she had come to far and was not willing to let him go no matter what he said. She then looked at Leon and just smiled, "We don't have marry one another." Leon just stared at her eyes wide open, he just smirked this girl wasn't to give up meaning Frey was truly in love with him especially if she said something like that. Leon looked at her, "Are you sure you'd alright with that I mean..." "I'm completely alright with it." Not once did her smile falter, the girl definitely made his mind fuzzy and this, he just wanted to hold so tight. "You know you really truly amusing." Then Leon started to ruffle her hair. He noticed how her cheeks turned more red and it made him chuckle slightly, "It's no big deal because after all starting today you and I will be lovers." She turned from happy to confuse, "What would you rather not" Leon smirked. "No I want to lovers" Frey spoke a bit to loud "And I...*blushing* am looking very forward to it." Leon just smirked then hugged her tightly, "As am I." Finally after all this time even though she was okay not marrying him to finally hold Frey in his arms like this to smell her hair, to look her in the eyes then kiss her lips some was definitely a dream he didn't want to wake from. Though he knew he wasn't dreaming what happen to him was real, the two are now dating and it made Leon's heart sore.

"Now that we are dating we should give each other pet names and I was wondering what I should call you." Frey blushed some she looked at him and smiled, "How about love?" Leon looked at her, love huh. "You know it's weird it feels as though you always called me that" Leon just smirked, "Well maybe because it's how I always act around you love." Yep that was definitely a good pet name for her, "Now what should you call me." Frey looked at him, she was having a little trouble until she smiled, "Darling." Leon looked at him, "Really are you sure?" "I sure am darling!" Leon blushed some that nickname anytime she would say made her sound really cute. "I'm really looking forward to this and I hope you don't disappoint me."
