Chapter 5
Summer 15
It was now in the middle of the summer season but for some reason anytime she tried and talk to Leon or go on a date with him the man said he was always busy. All he did was translate old text from his time for Arthur and after that he was free. It made Frey a little upset so when she walked toward the flower shop because she needed more seeds, the moment she walked in the door both Dylas and Amber were talking. Frey blinked a little this was a little strange and she walked into their conversation. She didn't wanted to pay attention to what they were saying however she was always curious and secretly listen to their conversation. "There's a door, right?" Dylas looked at Amber and she nods. "Is there anyway to open it?" Amber sighed, "I dunno but all I was told was I wasn't qualified to enter." At first Dylas didn't want to believe that however he became shocked, "You weren't qualified!" "Yeah. Gotta have the determination to open it. It's proof you can change the world, you know. They said mine wasn't the right kind so I couldn't open it." Dylas looked a bit sad or confused Frey didn't know. "I can't picture that."
"This conversation is getting nowhere" Dylas said a bit irritated. "We should go talk to Arthur" and then Amber agreed because the girl knew he was very smart, "I agree." Frey then talk with the two Dylas saying that there was nothing he could do and Amber that there was no window or backdoor. Frey didn't understand what the hell that conversation was but however she knew it was important. After buying more seeds and then planting them and since Leon didn't want to hang out the princess just went to bed.
-the next day-
Once again she did her water of the fields the take care of her monsters within the barn. This time around she need to get some weeds and grass for her fertilizer bin, Frey was running low so she walk over to the clinic. Thankful the clinic was officially opened for busy but sometimes she would come in her before opening hours because she was the princess. The moment she opened the door she saw Dolce and Pico. It wasn't odd to see those talk but what they were discussing was lining up to what Dylas and Amber said yesterday. "Even if we somehow managed to open that door there's still the question of being her back." "Exactly. How do we get her a solid body again?" Dolce sighed, "If she didn't have a body wouldn't she simply end up like you Pico." "I'm not sure. If she could it seems like she would have stayed in our world in the first place." "Well unliked you perhaps she had no regrets" Dolce stated. "I mean not remaining in this world means she had nothing left to tie her here correct." "Now that is possible but we still can't know for certain. She is in a very different position than us normal mortals. I expect you wish to talk so that we can discover for sure just how different correct" Pico said. Dolce smiles and nods then Pico spoke again, "Well in that regard we've already asked Leon about what he can remember. We should focus on searching for other possible ways."
Then Frey spoke with the two and just like yesterday not really getting responses of what was going on. The two did mention Leon so maybe he would tell what the hell is going on with all the guardians and why they speaking nonsense.
-the next day-
So today Frey was going to confront Leon about what was going on. The moment she entered the inn Leon was speaking with Barrett. "A homing ring" was the first words she heard. Leon nods, "Yes can you make one." "It's going to be difficult." "Don't worry I pay whatever price you offer." "No I don't need any money" Barrett just said casually. Leon just smiled, "I'll acquire the materials you might need as well." "It's not that either" and that point Leon seemed so confused just what in the did he need, "Then what is it" saying it a bit irritated. "It's just that it was an utter fluke that I even manage to make one the first time." Now from being irritated Leon was shocked, "A fluke?!" Barrett just sighed, "Yes so it's not the material or money that I need simple put I just don't remember how to make it." Leon sighed heavily as well giving Barrett a pain looked. "Hey don't give me that look. I was just desperate during that time. I'm sorry but I can't do anything for you." Then Leon looked at him, "No I should be the one apologizing I was just asking for the impossible that's all." "Well I want to know why you want one because I'm pretty sure Frey can use a homing spell. I learned over time that earth mates just have this ability."
At this point Frey now wasn't clueless on what the former guardians where trying to do, they were trying to bring back Venti. Now knowing that there could be a possibility that she really could come back now Frey was determined to hear this conversation out. Leon then spoke again, "I know the spell your referring to however the power of that spell would be too much to handle at once because the one we want to bring back has just a way bit of too much rune energy." At this point Barrett just looked at Leon, "Wait you don't mean..." and Leon just smirked confirming both his and Frey suspensions. Barrett nods, "I see now I think I understand. I just find it crazy that you find people you are willing to do insane things these days. However now that you say this I agree not to use the spell for Frey did try it once but because the rune energy was too much it exploded and cause a lot of harm to her." Leon heard this story from Arthur as well and he was not going to let his girlfriend get hurt. "So if you tried this time who knows how much power is require the spell at this point is too dangerous too use." Leon grew serious, "I know." At this point Frey now talk to them both and Leon just looked at Frey. "I'm assuming you heard that entire conversation." Frey just nods and Leon just sighed heavily, he tried keeping this a secret but knowing her then..."Frey I understand you have a lot of questions but for right now let me and other guardians handle this." Frey bit her lip but left crying some, all she wanted to do was help but Leon knew that Venti would not forget him or the other guardians if any harm came to Frey. Frey then return to Venti used to seat and sighed, "Everyone missing you I miss you. I miss our fights our conversations but most of all I miss your smile so I'm not going to give up I'm going to make sure the guardians let me help and I will bring you back.
-the next day-
Frey was exhausted, she didn't get an inch of sleep and her eyes could barely function but someone they were open. She walked into where Venti used to seat and the time was around 7:35 and there around in the circle stood the former guardians Leon, Dylas, Amber, and Dolce. Before she could say anything a conversation began, "Before we begin I like to confirm something" Dolce spoke first. Leon looked at him, "What is it?" "Right now we are attempting to resurrect Ventuswill on our own free wills correct and will go forward with this even if it's some that Venti herself doesn't desire, correct." Amber smiled and nods, "Yeah" and Dylas also agreed. Leon just smiled, "I was wonder why you look so grim. Was that all?" Dolce grew mad, "I was being serious Leon." Leon just kept his smiled, "I know but anyway we are all prepared to face the consequences but we are going through with it even if it's not what she wants. I mean after all I have mountains of things to say to her, we all do." "I agree and I know Venti would be happy but even if she isn't I know she will be grateful because this is her home" Amber told them. Dylas nods, "Yes and even though I don't know a lot of things but thanks to Frey and Venti I was able to make friends and I know that her not being I can't accept it things need to be the way the used to and I'm going to make it happen." Dolce smiles she was happy the others were on the same page as her.
"Now we can finally get started however the problem still lies how do we get Venti home." Before any one else could say a thing Frey jump in, "Please let me join you." All night he guardians turned and saw the princess. "Look I know that I shouldn't be here but I want to say stuff to Venti as well even if it's just selfish but I want her to come home. To this town, to us." All the guardians looked at her, "I know Venti herself may not have wanted this however I still believe that she wanted to stay with us." Leon just looked at his love, "Well I guess will just have to go and get her then and tell her how we feel." Frey blinked, "So I can join." Dolce smiles at her and walked over, "Yes Frey after all you were her closest friend than any of us plus I know she misses you too because Venti is too easy to ready." Soon all then discuss we the all discovered, the door of the first is now at the base of Leon Karnak but still can't be open unless you have the determination for it. Leon got upset so nothing was going their way, "Then I guess all of leads end." Frey looked at them, "Wait your forgetting one thing we can try the Gate Reject spell." At this point Dolce spoke first, "You can't you already tried that at the tower but it failed." "I know however that doesn't mean it won't work this time." Leon then looked at Frey, "Do you realize what you saying?" Frey never really seen Leon angry and that made her a bit scared but her voice never once falter, "I do." "The hell no...you got lucky that escaped last time it was just a fluke." Dylas spoke. Leon sighed, "He's right Frey because we can't let anything happen to you for if we did than we and the other guardians wouldn't be able to face Venti or the other townsfolk again. So just forget about and don't mention it again."
Frey stood there, "Don't give up because I'm not going to give up. I may sound crazy to you all but I don't care I'm still going to try it." Leon watch her and saw no hint that she was going to back down and he's been together with her long enough to know that once her mind was made up you can't change it. Leon just walked up to her and smiled, "No matter what we say or what we do your mind won't change so better its you do the spell in front of us than in secret." Frey smiled brightly, "Thank you." Frey then looked at all her friends and lover, "I'm ready" she then looked at the sky, 'Get ready Venti because your coming home' "Omni Gate!" A light surrounded her however once again things went bad and all of sudden her body and clothes began to tore up from the power and then she fell on the ground unconscious. Leon began to panic and rush immediately to her and held her, "Frey! Love come wake up please." He place a ear on her chest, his face in sigh of relief, "She's still breathing." After all Frey came too and looked away, "I...I saw Venti's memories and I saw how she didn't want to leave that she didn't want to go away." Before she knew Frey started to cry she then kept crying and crying holding onto the person who held her, "I wasn't the only one who felt that way...Venti did want to come home." Leon just held her, she then saw Dolce and Amber crying. He could feel small tears too but quickly got rid of them as Arthur came in. Arthur noticed what was going on but began to speak, "Is everyone alright?" Leon smiles as he help Frey up, "Yes Arthur we are doing fine but what are you doing here." Arthur question why his eyes were red but Leon just laughed.
"No I found a way to open the door." Leon looked at him, "Tell how?" Arthur began, "Well I be trying to figure how lady Ventuswill was able to survive as long as she did and then it hit me it was this." Then Arthur brought out the rune sphere. "This item can hold many rune spheres and from what I heard from Frey it can produce many runeys if it's takes the guardians place and with that kind of energy that should be enough power to open the door and possibly leave in the forest of beginning for Lady Ventuswill to get the Runes that she need to live once again." It was a lot of information to take in but Frey recovered and smiled, "Let me take for I'm the one who can take it. I'm a earth mate so only I have the power to bring her back." Arthur nods, "Then I will entrust this task to you Frey I'm trusting that you can bring her back safely." Then the prince left. Frey sighed and place the rune sphere in her bag, "I'm going to bed and the first thing I'm going to do is open that door and go save Venti." Leon then grabbed her hand, "Take me with you. It's best if you take a companion I mean my favorite target can't get hurt or sick so whether you like or not I'm coming." Frey just smiled, "Well I was just going to ask but *kisses his cheek* you beat me first darling~"
