Winter 4
It been a few good days since Leon and Frey got married the two created new pet names for the other. Leon was always going to call Frey love, the pet name just really suited her. As for Frey instead of darling, she called her husband Honey. The new name honestly fit him so well even though they were considered newly weds.
Today was 4th of winter and Leon was standing in Porcoline kitchen, the chief has just finished making Leon a dish for him. The chief has made dish after dish and was really exhausted at this point. "Prepared to be dazzled I'm sure this will be the dish you've been dreaming off." Leon smirked, "Then I will definitely have high hope for this new dish then." The dragon priest ate to really get the fast for it and Porcoline just stared at him, "Well?" Leon smiled, "It's delicious but it's not good enough" and at this point the chief was shocked. "I believe I said that I wanted a dish that above was exciting to eat. This is delicious in an entirely normal way." At this point Porcoline sighed, "NORMAL what so normal about eating a pickled stink slug?! It's aroma is so vile I had to plug my nostrils with turnips just to cook it." Leon sighed heavily, "Well compared to some of the grotesque cuisine I've had in the past it had a very mild scent." It took him awhile to saw anything but Leon was sure now, "It's seems only Frey's cooking can truly satisfy me. I do hope that next time you'll create something to really excite my palate." Leon then walked to the door and just before he left, the chief told him to wait a moment, "Listen Leon how do I put this...I would refrain from speaking with anyone else today. The smell on your breath is most dire!" Leon smirked, "Oh then perhaps I will speak with Forte then." Then the man left.
At this point Porcoline was complaining about Leon and then he saw Frey walked in, "What's this about Leon?" The man smiled the moment he saw her, "Ah Frey. Well let me explain" so he began to tell all what happen just a few moment ago and Frey looked at him she sighed heavily, "Leon really said that, wow." "I can only imagine how his culinary tyranny at home. You poor thing." Frey looked at him, "But that's the thing I don't make anything special." "That's ridiculous. He was very clear that only your cooking can satisfy him." Her face still looked at him with frowned, "But he never asked me for anything particular, not even once. You know I wonder maybe he's trying to be considerate and not bother me." "Well that's because Leon has a kind heart" Porcoline said. "I know but I don't want him to go without the food he wants on my account. I want him to feel comfortable enough to be selfish around me and I want him to have things that make him happy." Frey sighed and thought for a moment then smirked, "Hey Porcoline is it okay if I can up with the next dish!" "Well is that what you want?" She nods, "Yes I want to make a really exciting dish just like he wants! I want to make him happy with my cooking."
"Well for one I've tried about every strange food you can imagine so all that left is poison." "Poison!" Frey screamed. "Indeed poisonous dish's with just enough venom to tingle the tongue and numb the sense but not to kill." "Porcoline are you sure that not going overboard a bit" the man laughed, "No those dishes are all the rage amping gourmands they are safe if correctly done." Frey smiled, "I see. Who knew that a genre of food existed like that. It sounds perfect for Leon I guess I better start looking for ingredients then." For some reason Frey wanted to stop by the clinic and see what was happening. The women ran all the way over there and the moment she walk in she heard a someone groaning about a something going numb. She didn't even know their was a patient but Frey walked to see what happen. Dr. Jones looked at her and sighed, "He's a traveler who was passing by but he was bitten by a Hill Puffer in the water ruins." Frey has been there before but she's never since that before, "What's that?" When the patient was treated he looked at Frey, "You mean you never heard of them. You don't even know something that delicious existed. Listen the Hill Puffer is a kind of fish, it's related to the sky fish but it's poisonous." Frey blink that was something she definitely need led to get her hands on for Leon. She screamed in delight and looked at the traveler, "You said they exist in the water ruins." "Yes they like to hang around a school of sky fish but the only way to tell them apart is the Hill Puffer will have a red strip." Frey thank him and ran off by herself.
At this point Frey entered the ruins and smiled when she saw the group of fish. She got out her weapon and defeated all them, "Ah that one has a red strip." She went to grab it and place it in her bag before before the fish went in, it bite her on her arm. Frey eyes went wide as the fish dropped in the bag and her entire body collapsed to the ground, "No my body is going numb I can't move." Before this happened Leon was going around looking for his wife asking if anyone has seen her, the doctor told him when he got the clinic and the man turned back around and ran to the ruins. Panic filled him as he ran to the ruins and as he got there he saw Frey laying on the ground, "Love!" Frey sighed, "Honey..." Leon approach her and knelt down and grabbed her arm, "You been poisoned." His face was serious and then place his lips over it so he could suck at the poison along while spitting out as well. Once he was finished Leon help Frey stand up and he looked at her angry, "You fool what did you think you were doing?!" Frey frowned, "I'm sorry." Leon looked at her, "If Jones hadn't told me where you were and up to well you be Pico's new friend by now. Curiosity is an admirable trait but not when it strays so far as to cause me worry." Frey looked at him, "Yes I'll be more careful next time." Leon looked at her not convinced, "So you say. In any case you look entirely too happy about this. Are you secretly fond of being scolded." Frey looked at him, "Well I'm happy that you worry about me." Leon blushed, of course he worried about her that was his man job he blushed, "Don't let go to your head."
Leon made sure to walk Frey back home making nothing else bother her, he used his fox ears to really help him until they reach the entrance. He turned to Frey and grabbed her hand, "Please don't ever do that again you hear me." Frey nods, "I promise I won't I'll make sure your with me next time." Then the two part ways for now and she went back to talk with Porcoline. The two talk for awhile until Frey said, "Time to cook the fish." "Hold on Frey your skills are not ready enough so to make sure your ready please cook these fish dishes, Rainbow Trout, Lamp Swuid, and Blowfish. If you do this then I can give you a recipe to make poison dishes. She smiled and rushed out of the restaurant and toward the fish market. When she got they the only one that they had for sale right now was the rainbow trout. She brought it anywhere and rushed back to her room and cook the fish. When she walked out of the back room Leon was there and the two made eye contact. She went to her closest to change into her pajamas blushing a bit since Leon was most definitely watching her. He two did the same thing, besides the two have seen each other before completely naked, they did make love on their wedding night. The two went to bed and Leon made sure to hold Frey in his arms.
-the next day-
As Frey woke up she smiled at Leon who in turn wish her good morning. The dish he better for her today was on the table. The two kiss and Frey got dressed in her usual outfit, "Thanks for the lunch honey I'm makesure to eat once I'm done with tasks." The women then left and ran back to the fish market to see if they had the fish she needed this time. When Frey got there and looked at their stock she was thankful that they had them. She bought the rest of the fish and once again ran home to cook the fish. Once she was done she placed the dishes in her bag and ran to Porcoline's restaurant. When she walk in Frey smiled, "Here I made all the dishes so can I have that recipe now." He wrote down on some paper and give it to her, "Follow this and you have the perfect dish ready for him." Frey was super thankful and spend the entire rest of the day cooking the dish. When Leon got home he saw Frey there holding a plate of food. Leon looked at her, "Hm what an intriguing scent." "Yep I've been trying my hand at some new recipes." Leon looked very amused by this, "Oh is that so" he work over and grabbed the plate and Frey smiled, "Go on and try it!" Leon started to eat and his eyes went wide, "This is wonderful. The explosion of tartness, the stunning bitterness, the spices searing my moth in fire. Not only that but this wave of tingly numbness coursing through my entire being. THIS WAS THE EXCITEMENT I WAS SEARCHING FOR!" "So I'm assuming that you like it" Leon looked at her, "Oh I was getting ahead of myself but yes it's acceptable." Frey was so excited joy filled her veins, "If you want to know the fish was a Hill Puffer." Leon looked at her, "Aw know I know why you were so tempted to go to the ruins alone."
Frey sighed she still felt guilty about that, "Yeah Porcoline told me that you wanted an excited dish and you never have told me anything you wanted before so I just wanted to make you happy." Leon looked at her, 'This women really thought. She's doesn't even have a clue of what I truly find exciting.' "Well simply stepping into this house lets me enjoy the most exciting thing there ever was. After all there is no flavor as thrilling or satisfying as you love." Frey smiled, "Honey stop dodging the question." Leon shook his head, "But love I was being quite serious there though the dish was really good. Now would you like in return come on now." Frey thought king and hard about this question, until she smiled at him, "Well how about a honeymoon trip." Leon looked at her and smirked, "What a coincidence I was just think how a little vacation would be nice." He started to get dress for the night, "And makesure it's somewhere exciting okay." He help take her clothes off then two went off to bed, Frey happy they were going on a honeymoon trip.
-the next day-
Frey woke up to see Leon still in bed, she told him good morning but got no response. The women started to panic thinking the dish she made actually killed him until Leon started to laugh, "You know teasing you is my favorite hobby." She hit his chest, "Leon that's but funny I was really scared." Leon looked at her, "I'm sorry love I didn't mean to scare you." He kissed her forehead and the two hit dress for the day. Frey walked in the town square and started discussing with her butlers of where she could take Leon until a traveler over heard and smiled, "A honeymoon trip well I suggest my hometown Fenith Island. The island is surrounded by blue wave, kissed by gentle breezes...its quiet and scenic as well. It you want something exciting than I also recommend it a volcanic island was just spotted their recently and it's very active. I can take but first you travel papers before coming." Frey smiled, "That's not problem I heard that I have to our dragon here if I want to leave which should be no problem." She thank him and then went to go saw Venti. When she entered the room she smiled at her dear friend, "Hi Venti."
"Frey what brings you here." "Well I want your permission to go Fenith Island." The dragon grew concerned over this, "Can you consider somewhere else?" "What?! But why?!" Venti sighed, "Well Fenith Island is out of my jurisdiction if anything should go awry it could very well be laid at my feet." "Come now it's only going to be me and Leon." Venti looked concern, "That is why I worry. I know you will behave yourself but Leon I have no doubt of how he is an incident seems assured." Frey sighed, "See you can imagine it as well." Frey looked at her determined, "Don't worry I can keep in line I assure you." Venti looked at her and nods, "Very well but you must also prove your resolve through purification and I don't mean bath you both must stand under the waterfall in Yokmir Forest and cleanse yourself." Frey smiled and nods, "I'll go talk to Leon right now."
Frey ran to go find Leon fishing, he smirked at where they were going, "This is why I married you." "Yeah I knew you like but we have to get Venti's permission and she has a few conditions." Leon sighed, "Like what?" Frey looked at him, "We need to purify ourselves under the waterfall in Yokmir Forest." Leon couldn't believe this, "I know exactly why Venti is doing this but it just makes more exciting to see the look on her face but not to worry I do it cause it's our honeymoon after all." Leon grabbed Frey hand and they rushed to the forest. When they got to the waterfall there was a bunch of monsters, Leon stepping in front of Frey and and placed his fan in front of her. "There no need to raise your hand I'm not going to let them raise a single claw on you." He then went to defeat the monsters with ease and smiled at her. She walked over to him and gave him a kiss, "Just trying to keep your promise. Thanks." He smirked and then grabbed her bridal style, "Come now my love we shall bathe together." He then jumped down and both of them were under the waterfall, Frey held onto Leon. The girls face was red was that whole ordeal just now, once they were finished he walked all the back holding Frey in his arms. Leon walked into Venti chamber and smirked, "Ah so you did take my word. I'm glad you did besides I trust Frey well enough to keep her eye on you. Now both of you go enjoy your honeymoon." Leon walked in their room and then finally placed Frey down.
"I can't believe tomorrow is going to be our honeymoon, I'm so excited I don't think I can sleep." "No off to bed with you, if your too tired to wake in the morning I'll leave behind." Frey sighed and got the brochure of the island, "Look here." Leon shook his head, "No that will only spoil the fun love." Frey smirked and then looked on what it said about the volcano, "Looks like we can go lava diving" and Leon eyes got excited, "Wait really!?" Frey smirked, "Hey you said you didn't want spoilers." Leon blushed, "I'm only making an exception for that. In any case just the idea of makes me really excited." Frey smiled, "Mine as well just the thought is making my heart race." Leon placed his hand on her heart, "Mmm yes it's positively pounding music to my ears." At first Frey didn't want to believe him but he just grabbed her own hand and placed where his heart was, she could feel beating like hers was, "When you come across something or someone that is truly exciting anyone's heart will bear harder just like like this." Frey smiled at him, "Yeah I can hear it pounding." Leon smirked, "But of course because I told you that to me your the most exciting thing in the world is you." Frey blushed heavily, "You really do feel this way don't you." Leon nods, "Yes I do I know I tease so much but" he brought in the women for a passionate kiss, "I love everything about your my one true love and who knows maybe one day that love will be fruitful."
