Alright what's up guys Hawkeyes 100 here with a new chapter hope y'all enjoyed the last one, and hope y'all are going to enjoy this one. Some people may be curious as to where the rest of the cast are and to answer your questions since it's a holiday break. Yang and Ruby are home with papa Tai, Weiss is spending sisterly bonding time with Winter doing, whatever it is they consider fun. I don't know sparring (being bitches to some poor shmucks), Ren and Nora are off visiting a Huntsman they apprenticed under in order to join Beacon, Pyrrah is at home with her parents, and Blake is visiting her parents. Yes in this fic she worked up the nerve to visit her parents before the fall and tell them "Hey guys I'm not dead like you might have been worried I was the whole time I was gone." You know or some Jazz like that. Anyways let the chapter begin.

"Speech"

*Thoughts*

Julius Arc grinned as he sat and turned to his grandson expectantly. This caused Jaune to sigh and hand the sundae to Coco who began feeding it to Akemi again, so he could talk to his grandfather properly.

"Grandpa this is Coco she's a fellow team leader at Beacon a second year student actually, and this little ray of sunshine is Akemi. She's my daughter. Your great granddaughter" said Jaune. Hearing this caused Julius to widen his eyes in surprise and examined Akemi carefully.

He stood from his chair and walked around the table slowly leaning in and sniffing Akemi. Which caused her to giggle and imitate him sniffing him, and raising her arms for him to lift her when she realized he smelled similar to her father. This caused Julius to chuckle and pick her up cradling her in his arms.

"Jaune my boy why have you been hiding the newest member to the Arcs from us? The family will be thrilled we must plan the celebration immediately!" Julius shouted with a boisterous laugh. Coco was still confused as to why he had sniffed Akemi until she saw a lions tail swaying behind Julius. This caused Coco to snap her head to Jaune so fast that it almost gave her whiplash, this didn't go unnoticed by Julius Arc.

Jaune had the decency to blush and cough into his fist awkwardly, "I'll explain later Coco, I promise." Coco nodded and went back to eating her ice cream, causing Julius to frown at his grandson. "Jaune take it from a man who was married for sixty years. Keeping secrets from your partner never leads to anything good."

Hearing this caused Coco to spit out her mouthful of ice cream blushing up a storm, while Jaune wasn't doing much better groaning and covering his face. "We aren't together grandfather no woman would want a failure like me" Jaune said looking at the ground, which caused Coco and Julius to frown.

Akemi seeing her father look sad, begins to wiggle in an effort to get out of Julius's arms and to her father. Handing Akemi to Jaune, Julius watched her pat his cheek and snuggle into his chest causing all three adults to smile. Taking his seat once again Julius crossed his arms. "Seems the cub would disagree with you Jaune, didn't your father give you any advice about women when you set out to Beacon?"

"Yes grandfather he said that all I need is to have confidence, but I've tried that and it didn't work." Julius raised his eyebrow at this. "Is that all the advice he gave you?" Jaune looked at his grandfather weird and replied "No he also said that women like men who are suave and that flirt with them."

Julius let his head hit the table with an audible thump that caused both students to wince, and Akemi to giggle. "Jaune while confidence is an important thing to have, being suave isn't always the way to go. Have confidence but be true to yourself, don't try and act as something you are not. Case in point suave, is something you definitely are not."

Clapping a hand onto Jaunes shoulder Julius looked his grandson in his eye. "Jaune even if by some miracle you gain a persons affection by acting as something you aren't, it's not you they fell for. They fell for a fake persona you made up. You need to find a woman that will love you for you, flaws an all and you must do the same for her. Besides I didn't win your grandmothers heart by being suave, I was a lot like you when I was young. She fell for my honesty, and the fact that I grew strong because I wanted to be strong enough to protect her. She an I were on the same team you know. She completely destroyed me in every spar we had, but I kept getting up because I was determined to be able to stand side by side with her."

Julius let a smile of remembrance grace his features. "She was simply perfect to me flaws and all. She was prideful, and at times arrogant but I saw what the others didn't see. A woman that simply fought for what she believed in and took pride in the strength she possessed, someone that cared for her family and friends with a heart of gold. She actually asked me why I desired to become strong and when I told her it was because I wanted to be strong enough to protect her because I was hopelessly in love with her, it was the first time I ever saw her blush" he said.

Coco smiled at the story and blushed at the bright smile Jaune was giving his grandfather. Akemi was reaching for Julius wiggling her tiny fingers and he happily took her into his arms cradling her with such a delicacy you wouldn't expect a man of his size to possess. He nuzzled her softly, Akemi smiled and snuggled closer to him.

She is beautiful Jaune, you must tell your parents and I the story of how you came to care for her when we meet up with them. Julius rose from his chair, cradling Akemi in his arms, "Come Jaune, your parents are waiting at Beacon. It's time for you to face them and introduce their first grandchild".

Jaune stood with a smile and nodded, "It's about time I stop running away from my problems and face them head on" he said. This caused Julius let out a booming laugh. "Spoken like a true Arc!".

"Arcs bah a bunch of animals who don't deserve the status they are given" Said a voice from the side walk. A man who stood at six feet five inches stared at Jaune and his grandfather with a sneer accompanied by Cardin Winchester.

Jaune and his grandfather stared down Cardin and a man that looked to be in his sixties but was still muscular and well shaven. Both Cardin and the man continued to sneer at the Arc duo while Julius quietly handed Akemi to Coco who took her and held her close to her chest in case anything happened.

"Romulus Winchester I must say it is not a pleasure to see you again. " Julius said with a venomous tone and a glare that would put Goodwitch to shame. The older Winchester just smirked cruelly "I must say that the feeling is mutual animal. I thought my city was finally rid of your filthy bloodline after you left nearly forty years ago and took your whore wife with you"

Jaune was about to shout and might have even been contemplating attacking the older male for saying such things about his late grandmother when the words died in his throat. An oppressive aura had filled the entire street forcing many citizens to their knees, some of the weaker willed had even passed into the blissful arms of unconsciousness. The humans didn't know what to make of the aura it felt like a pressure was commanding them to kneel. The faunus citizens had it much worse they were more in tune with their animal instincts, this sent all of their fight or flight responses into overdrive. They were shaking and staring at Julius felling as if they took their eyes off him they'd be devoured.

Jaune, Coco, and Akemi were the least affected of everyone present. Jaune felt like he was a kid again and his mother and father were walking with him through the grimm infested woods to help him get over his trauma from his run in with the beowolf that gave him his chest scar. Coco felt like she was being hugged by her grandfather who had been gone for many years. It was like the protectve embrace he'd pull her into when she'd wake up crying from a nightmare. Akemi was giggling, with her ears twitching wildly atop her head. She felt like her father was holding her close to his chest with a warmth she had only known as love.

Julius walked to Romulus slowly, each step echoing through out the street like a shot from Crescent Rose. When he made it to the kneeling man her lifted him up by his throat with a single hand squeezing enough to make the man squirm and wheeze.

"You speak ill of my long past wife even after it was she that kept me from tearing your tainted heat from your chest all those years ago. She told me that no matter how horrible a human being you were that you still had a right to life, that I couldn't kill you because your wife was heavy with child. Remember this Romulus Winchester, this is the second time my wife has saved your life. I'd have killed you now if I didn't think she'd give me a thrashing when I left to meet her on the other side."

Julius squeezed the throat he held in his hand a little tighter before he tossed the man into Cardin who caught his grandfather. "Take him and by the brothers do not let me see him again today because if he speaks ill of my wife again. The brothers won't be able to recognize the pieces that I leave behind."

Jaune stood staring at his grandfather's back with a look of awe at what had just happened. He had heard the stories from his father and the friends that would occasionally visit his grandfather, but he had always thought they had been exaggeration on their part. Standing before him wasn't Julius Arc the caring grandfather that would spoil he and his siblings with sweets and games. The man standing before him was Julius Arc The Bloody Lion of Vale. The man who had lead the charge on numerous battles against Mantle and Vacuo the man that the enemy was ordered to flee from on sight if he was encountered or pray to the brothers that he was taking prisoners.

Julius turned to the trio behind him and gave a kind smile shall we head to Beacon then?"

An hour and a half later

Julius lead the two leaders towards the entrance to Beacon carrying Akemi in his arms and pausing half way to the door. "Jaune I may have forgot to mention that your sisters are here as well" he said. Jaune paled at hearing this and began looking around wildly. "Now I really wished I had worn my armor now. Grandpa please tell me Alexandria isn't here." Jaune looked at his grandfather with a pleading look, while praying to any deity that would listen.

Before his grandfather could say anything Jaune was launched into a tree from a kick by none other than his twin sister Alexandria Arc. Before Coco could react in defense of her friend (crush), her shoulder was grabbed by Julius who simply shook his head at her. "Let them work things out on their own, she needs this"

Jaune got up and massaged his sore jaw from his sisters kick. "Damn it Alex couldn't you at least say hello before trying to beat the crap out of me." He popped his neck and took off his plaid over shirt tossing it to the side so he was only in his t-shirt and jeans. Coco took a look at the now named Alex and saw she was wearing form fitting leather trousers with boots, and a brown leather jacket over a red shirt with the Arc symbol over her chest.

Both siblings took the same stance before they started to circle each other slowly with the space between them shrinking every second. When they were less than three feet apart Alex launched a kick at Jaune's head, that he dodged by leaning back and launching his right foot into her midsection. Alex blocked the kick by crossing her arms over her stomach, she was still sent back a few feet but had managed to lessen the damage.

Alex quickly launched herself at Jaune landing a punch that sent him careening to the right, she followed this up by sweeping his feet out from under him. Jaune landed on his back and quickly rolled to the right to avoid the axe kick his sister sent down towards him. Quickly getting back to his feet her charged and shoulder checked her making her hit the ground hard before he was on top of her throwing punches into her guard that she was keeping over her face.

She parried one of the punches which made Jaune punch the ground next to her head, she used this opening to send an elbow into his temple knocking him off her. She used this chance to plant both her feet into his chest launching him back a good ten feet. Jaune shakily got off the ground and brought his guard up when he saw Alex rushing towards him. She made it within three feet of him before she was launched to the left by a strong right punch.

Alex rolled for a few feet before landing in a crouched stance and was staring down a girl with long blond hair with red glowing eyes.

"I don't know who you are but you made a big mistake picking a fight with my friend!" shouted Yang as she got into her fighting stance.

Sorry it's so short guys I pumped this out in about an hour so it may not be the best but I hope if helps give some insight to Jaune's family. Also I'm thinking of making a but am seriously on the fence about it. It really wouldn't offer anything and it'd only be for $1 donations if I actually decide to make the damn thing.
