Hey guys Hawkeyes100 back with another chapter of JBAF y'all are loving this story and I love that y'all love it. Never really expected this story to get as much love as it has. Without further ado Link Start!
Edit: Sorry I took this chapter down guys something about it just made me really anxious when I first put it up last week. I made some very minor changes mostly to the end, but please enjoy and tell me your thoughts.
Yang stared down the blond woman in front of her waiting to see what she'd do. She looked over her shoulder and could see Ruby trying to pull Jaune away to safety but he was resisting for some reason. When she looked back to the blond she'd punched she was gone. Yang's instincts instantly had her dive right and she was glad she had, the woman materialized in the spot she'd just left with two daggers that would've hit her kidneys. When she raised her fists to go on the offensive she was interrupted by Jaune moving in front of her, getting into a stance she hadn't seen him use before.
"Vomit boy what do you think you're doing go back and stand with Ruby I've got this." Said Yang with her eyes never leaving the female blond who was watching Jaune with amusement. "Yang stay out of this one. This is between Alex and I seems my dear sister wants to welcome me the Arcadian way." Said Jaune as he looked back at her with his usual dorky smile. Yang froze at the word sister and did a double take looking between the two and noticing all the similarities between the two. Same short blond mop, same cobalt blue eyes, except she saw something that caught her attention now that she wasn't in brawler mode. The now named Alex had a lions tail swaying behind her lazily, Yang immediately looked at Jaune who looked sheepish. "I'll explain later I promise." Said Jaune with raised hands in a placating manner.
Yang slowly nodded and walked to stand next to Ruby just noticing her friend Coco standing next to a bear of a man with blond blue eyes, shoulder length blond hair that connected to a long finely trimmed beard. She also noticed the feral smile he had on display as he watched the two siblings circling each other again. When she'd made it back to her sister she noticed the baby Coco was holding and asked the question Ruby had been wanting to. "Coco who's the kid?"
Jaune smiled as he watched his sister sheathe her daggers and toss them away taking her fighting stance once again. "You've gotten stronger Jaune you'd usually be crying to mom by now about how I was being mean to you." Taunted Alex as she smiled at her twin brother. Jaune chuckled and tightened his fists making his knuckles pop from the pressure before answering "Nice try Alex but I'm not falling for your little game this time."
Alex grinned showing off her sharp canines and started letting her Aura leak out which caused her eyes to shine gold. Jaune had a grin that matched his grandfather's as he released his aura like his sister they both started channeling aura to their fists. *I have to remember to thank Ren for training me on how to channel my aura.* thought Jaune as he and his sister got ready. Alex's royal blue aura enveloped her fists taking the shape of two lions heads while Jaune's white did the same. The spectators watched with bated breathe as Julius said something that made the three girls shiver "Now the real show begins"
Both siblings launched at each other and met in the middle with a flurry of punches(Jaune) being met by palm strikes that blocked and parried each punch. Jaune used his forearms to block the hits and moved his head to dodge the ones he couldn't. Ruby watched with starry eyed wonder at how cool her best friend looked, Yang on the other hand was watching how they were both fighting and noticed something her little sister didn't. Jaune was slowing down and getting sloppier by the second. She could see his arms shaking either from him being exhausted or from blocking too many hits rather than dodging.
She watched the way Alex attacked, the way she dodged or parried attacks and realized what she was doing. "She's letting him tire himself out before going in for the kill." Whispered Yang in realization earning her a confused look from Ruby. "What did you say Yang?" asked Ruby. Julius smiled having heard her and ran a hand through his beard while he thought about the three young women next to him. *Coco is playing it cool but she realized the same thing the blond has. Interesting friends you've made cub, I wonder what they'll do.*
Jaune was breathing hard and could feel his arms shaking from blocking Alex's palm strikes. *I can't keep this up much longer my aura is about to run out and I can barely keep up with her. I see why mom and dad started training her early. She's better than me in every way imaginable, she's faster, she's stronger, Alex is a natural when it comes to combat." After his last thought made him leave an opening Alex slapped his hands to open a straight shot into his chest allowing her slam both her palms into Jaune's chest shattering his aura, and launching him back a good twenty feet. Alex slowly made her way to Jaune who was struggling to get back up, but found her path blocked by a glaring Yang who had Ember Celica deployed and ready.
Alex glared back "Move" growled Alex with her irises still glowing gold. "Sister or not I'm not letting you past me." answered Yang with her eyes glowing red. Ruby used her semblance and was next to Jaune trying to help him up, while Coco had handed Akemi to Julius and was standing next to Yang ready to fight as well. Alex was about to get into her stance when a quiet feminine voice cut through the growing tension like a knife. "That's enough Alex you were supposed to find them and bring them back to the room not cause a scene and make a mess for Glynda to clean up." Said a woman with a mane of blue hair that reached her shoulders.
Alex immediately stood straight and rubbed the back of her head nervously exactly like how Jaune does. The woman made her way past Alex giving her a disapproving look as she did and stood before the two women who were still in their fighting stances. She looked at the two and in the time it took for them to blink she was already past them and helping Jaune up, having him lean against her shoulder. "Seems you and Alex had a lot of fun today huh Jaune." She smiled when he raised his head and gave her a grin.
"Feels like I never left home, though this is a lot worse than any of the spars we had back home. You win this round Alex what's the score now?" Yang and Coco were joined by Ruby, Julius, and Akemi who was giggling and playing with the older the long strands of blond hair. Julius was he one to answer "That's 3 for you Jaune and 123 for Alex" laughed out Julius with a wide smile. Alex gave a shout of victory until she noticed the blue haired woman glaring at her, she immediately went quiet and tried to hide behind her grandfather hoping to use him as a makeshift shield. Yang, Ruby, and Coco looked the blue haired woman after seeing she wasn't going to attack Jaune like Alex had.
She stood at an impressive six feet tall with a figure that reminded them of a more slender Nora. When the girls looked over her outfit they saw she was wearing a purple turtleneck that was pulled up to cover the bottom half of her face only allowing them to see her sky blue eyes that looked them over quickly before dismissing them completely. She had on a dark blue jacket that reached her midriff with three white diamonds over the Arc family symbol placed where her heart was, they trailed down her outfit and saw black pants that hugged her hips and lead to a pair of black combat boots. They then noticed the lion's tail swaying behind her and how it immediately wrapped around Jaune when they got close.
All three girls raised their hands in a placating manner when they saw her eyes harden and glare at them. "Wait we just want to help, Jaune's our friend my best friend actually. I'm Ruby Rose leader of team RWBY we're the sister team to Jaune's. This is my older sister Yang, one of my teammates and that's Coco she's a second year and the leader of team CFVY." Explained Ruby. The woman's glare hardened and pinned Ruby to the spot with it's intensity, to anyone observing it would have looked like a lion staring down a bunny. Yang immediately stood in front of Ruby protectively and met the woman's glare with one of her own.
The two glared at each other for a few minutes before the woman's gaze softened and nodded which made Ruby rush from behind Yang and start wrap his free arm around her shoulder though with the height difference Jaune kept most of his weight on the taller of the two. Yang told Ruby to hold the door open and let her help carry him instead, the small group made it all the way to the door of the JNPR dorm room when Jaune finally stood on his own.
He turned to the blue haired woman and pulled her into a hug. "Thanks for the help bleu, I couldn't ask for a better sister." Said Jaune while Alex gave a shout of indignation from the back of the group. Bleu pulled back and gave what the non Arc's guessed was a smile by the way her eyes crinkled. "It's an elder sisters job to help their siblings when they're in over their head. It seems you've really grown up since leaving home, I wonder where the little crybaby that would hide behind Rouge and I went." Blue smiled and hugged her little brother back. "It's good to see you again little brother."
The siblings broke the hug and looked to the door, and Jaune suddenly looked nervous clenching his fists to the point they were shaking. Bleu placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Jaune what's wrong why do you look so nervous?" asked Ruby worriedly from his left. "I'm about to see my parents for the first time since leaving home for Beacon months ago."
