While in pursuit of Vecta, and surrounded by enemies, a woman in the light readies her bow, and fires arrows at every single surrounding enemy, taking all of them out.
Sonic: No way!
Sinon: It's good to see you all again. Sorry to keep you waiting.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles: It's Sinon!
Asuna: Sinonon!
The 4 heroes run to her and hug her.
Sonic: I can't believe it! It's you!
Moments later, the unit starts to continue ahead.
Sinon: Listen. About 5 kilometers south from here, there are some abandoned ruins. I think we can attack the enemy there without being surrounded.
Tails: Right.
Sonic: Got it. Thanks.
Asuna: No matter how big the American VRMMO population may be, I doubt they can get anymore right away.
Knuckles: Yeah. If we can beat the players they have now, I don't think they can do anything... hopefully.
Sinon: Okay. Leave it to me. By the way, where are Kirito, Mighty, and Ray.
Tails: Mighty and Ray are up north, helping the dark forces fight the American players. I think they should be okay. As for Kirito, he's in this carriage.
Sinon: I see. I'll go say hi to Kirito then.
They open up the carriage and see Ronie, Tiese, and an unconscious Kirito. All of them walk inside.
Ronie: L-Lady Solus?!
Sinon: Huh?
She looks down at her attire, and back at the two girls.
Sinon: Hello. I'm not really Solus, actually. My name is Sinon.
The two apprentices look to each other, and back to Asuna, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.
Sonic: Uh...
Sinon: Oh yes. I'm from the real world. Just like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Asuna. I'm a friend of Kirito's as well.
Tiese: I see...
Ronie: I'm guessing there are a lot of females.
Sonic: Uh...
Sinon: We're not the only ones.
Sinon walks up to the unconscious Kirito. As she looks, she begins to shed a tear. Kirito looks up to her.
Sinon: Kirito...
She places her bow down, and hugs the Black Swordsman, with tears coming down her face.
Sinon: Even if your soul's been badly damaged, there are so many people who know your soul so well. Can't you feel it? The naive, sarcastic, mischievous, stubborn, strongest, and kindest one? That's you.
She stands back up, and looks to Asuna and Ronie, shedding tears.
Sinon: Don't worry. Kirito will be better in no time. Probably when we need him the most.
Asuna nods her head, and Sonic places his hand on her arm.
Sonic: Keep your head held high, okay?
Asuna: R-Right.
Sinon: Okay. I'm going to fly to the ruins to get the lay of the land. You guys look after Kirito, okay?
Asuna: Hold on, Sinon! Did you say fly? You can fly?
Sinon: Yeah. It's a unique power given to the Solus account. There's no limit or anything either.
Sonic: Hey Ronie. Tiese. Do you two still have the Chaos Emeralds?
Tiese: Y-Yes.
They hand Sonic the sack of the 7 gems.
Sonic: Now is as good a time as any to use these. Sinon. Me and you need to go help Alice. She's been abducted by Emperor Vecta. Eugeo and Bercouli went after them, but they might need our help.
Sinon: Okay.
Sonic: Asuna? Tails? Knuckles? Can I count on you guys to take care of things here?
Asuna: Of course.
Tails: You bet!
Knuckles: We got this. Be careful out there.
Sonic: Okay. Let's go, Sinon!
Meanwhile, at the ruins of the Eastern Gate... Lilpilin digs up a memento that once belonged to his friend, Lenju, and thinks back to when his people were sacrificed.
Lilpilin: Len... What were we fighting for. Why did you all have to die for them?
The chief of the orcs shouts in agony.
Lilpilin: NOOOOO!
?: AHHHHHHH!
Somebody crash lands right behind him, causing him to jump forward.
Lilpilin: Gah! Wha...?
That person was of course, Leafa, using the super account, Terarria, the goddess of the Earth.
Leafa: Ouch!
She sits up.
Leafa: Jeez! This is why I can't stand brand new equipment! Huh?
The blonde haired girl, and the orc look at each other. After a few seconds, Lilpilin gets up and takes out his sword, covering his face.
Lilpilin: Don't look at me!
Leafa gets up on her feet.
Leafa: Um, good afternoon. Maybe good morning?
Lilpilin: W-Why aren't you running away? Why aren't you screaming? You're a human, so why not?
Leafa: Why? Because you're a human too, aren't you?
Lilpilin: H-Human?! Me? That's ridiculous! Can't you tell by looking? I'm an orc! An orc, which you lums revile as pig-people!
Leafa: But you're still a human, right? After all, you and I are standing here talking. What else would you need?
Lilpilin: W-What?!
Leafa: More importantly, where are we now?
Lilpilin: Uh...
Leafa: Oh, by the way, what's your name?
Lilpilin: I-I'm Lilpilin.
Leafa: Lilpilin? That's a nice name. I'm Leafa. It's nice to meet you.
She holds her hand out.
He looks to her hand and back to her face, and back to hand, not sure of what's going on.
Leafa: Hmm?
Lilpilin: You're a knight from the Human Empire army, aren't you? Then I'm taking you in as my prisoner. And I'm taking you to the emperor!
Leafa: By emperor, you mean Vecta, the god of darkness, right?
Lilpilin: Th-That's right!
Leafa: Okay. Then take me to him.
She holds her hands together, in front, waiting to get cuffed.
Lilpilin: O-Okay?
The orc chief sheathes his sword, and ties Leafa's hands with a rope.
Lilpilin: Just who is this girl? If I can talk, I'm a human? The goblins, ogres, and giants can all speak too, but just because we look different, the humans treat us with scorn. And yet, this girl... She's acting friendly.
After tying the rope.
Lilpilin: Let's go.
Suddenly, a circle of smoke surrounds them.
Leafa: Huh?
Lilpilin: What's this?!
Leafa: Ah!
A shadow pulls Leafa up. Lilpilin tries to pull her down, but the rope snaps.
Lilpilin: What's happening?!
The shadow reveals itself. It is Dee Eye Ell, the chancellor of the dark mages.
Dee Eye Ell: Hahahahaha!
Lilpilin: You're Dee Eye Ell!
Dee Eye Ell: The smell... Oh, the smell! So sweet, the fragrance of life! What a splendid prey you've captured! Good job, pig. As a reward, I'm going to show you something amusing! You've never seen a human woman before, have you? Perhaps it's too much for a pig to see. But this is where the fun begins.
Dee Eye Ell's left fingers change into tentacles, and they bite inside of Leafa.
Leafa: AHHH!
Dee Eye Ell: System Call! Transfer Human Unit Durability, left to self!
She starts sucking up Leafa's life.
Leafa: AHH!
Dee Eye Ell: Incredible! So incredible!
Lilpilin: What are you doing?! This girl is my prisoner! I'm taking her to the emperor!
Dee Eye Ell: Silence, you pig! Have you forgotten that the emperor has given me full command? My will is the emperor's will! My orders are the emperor's orders.
Leafa casts an art that makes plants grow beneath her, in attempt to heal herself.
Dee Eye Ell: I don't believe it! It's surging! It's overflowing again!
The witch's right fingers turn into tentacles, and they bite into Leafa as well, sucking up her life.
Dee Eye Ell: HAHAHAHAHAHA! IT'S MINE! ALL MINE!
Leafa: I have to endure. I can't kill anyone in this world without figuring out what's going on.
Lilpilin: Stop it!
Dee Eye Ell: What's that? You're giving me an order? Didn't I tell you, pig? This prisoner is all mine, now! No matter how much life I suck out of her, or if I choke the life out of her right here, it has nothing to do with you. But hold on. It was you who found her, so maybe a slight concession is in order. How about we see you in your undies.
Lilpilin: W-What are you talking about?
Dee Eye Ell: Ever since I saw you in that preposterous armor and cloak, it's always made me gag. A lowly pig looking almost human. If you just stay in your undies, and squeal like a pig, I might let you have this girl back.
Lilpilin thinks back of when Leafa said he is still human. His right eye begins to twitch. It turns red, showing the code 871 seal.
Leafa: Don't! I'm okay... so... Just don't do it.
Dee Eye Ell: What's wrong, pig? Just do it! Strip! Or could it be you're aroused by the sight of human flesh.
Lilpilin: I'm... I'm...
His eye begins to burst as he takes out his sword.
Lilpilin: I'M... A HUMAAAAAAAAAN!
Just as his right eye explodes, he takes out his sword and swings it at Dee Eye Ell. She quickly steps back as she does, and the chief of the orcs falls down to the ground.
Dee Eye Ell: YOU ROTTEN PIG!
She throws Leafa back.
Dee Eye Ell: How dare you put a scratch on me!
Her fingers transform into claws.
Dee Eye Ell: I'm going to chop you up, mix you with hay, and feed you to the boars!
Suddenly, a flash of light chops off Dee Eye Ell's arms. She looks back and sees Leafa, with her sword.
Dee Eye Ell: A human slashing another human to save a pig?
Leafa: No. I'm slashing evil to save a human!
She swings her sword one more time, and the dark witch falls to the ground, dead. Meanwhile, at the southern ruins, Sortiliena, Ronie, and Tiese look up.
Asuna: Okay. We're counting on you to protect Kirito.
Ronie: Right! Leave it to us, Lady Asuna!
Tiese: We promise to protect him!
Sortiliena: Even if it costs us our lives!
Knuckles: Don't worry. We're not letting the enemy get this far.
Tails: I hope Mighty and Ray are okay. Same goes for Sonic and Sinon.
Knuckles: They'll be okay. They've been through worse.
An army of American players run to the ruins.
Renly: Attack!
The Human Empire forces charge at them. Asuna takes out her sword and strikes each American player. Knuckles punches them out, and Tails spins them. While they fight, PoH appears above their sight, watching them.
PoH As merciless as ever when she snaps. Same goes for that fox and echidna. Not sure where that hedgehog is. Or even that armadillo and squirrel. I bet that dual-wielding punk's here too. I'm so going to kill them. Hahaha!
Meanwhile, Bercouli and Eugeo are chasing after Vecta, who has Alice.
Eugeo: How come we're not catching up?
Bercouli: Can he manipulate the life of a flying dragon? No way around it, eh? Forgive me, nameless dragon.
Bercouli takes out his sword.
Bercouli: Time-splitting sword...
As the sword glows, time gets turned back, to get closer. Once he's close enough...
Bercouli: Uragiri!
He swings his blade at the dragon, wounding him, and making him fall down to a platform.
Eugeo: What was that? Wait. I see. So the Time-Splitting sword can control time.
Bercouli: Uragiri is the sword that slices the past. Even an emperor won't be able to rewind time!
The commander and Eugeo jump down to the platform, Vecta is on.
Eugeo: Not all real-worlders are demons like you, Vecta. I know that after all the time I've spent with Kirito, Sonic, Mighty, and Ray. After these past two years of traveling to Centoria, after I was freed from my calling. They helped me save Alice. I'm going to save her again! As many times as I have to!
Bercouli: You've caused many lives to die senselessly. That proves that a human like you is evil to the core! You'll pay! You'll know the weight of all the lives that have perished on the battlefield.
Eugeo: Bloom! Blue roses!
With the power of the Blue Rose Sword, Eugeo freezes Vecta in ice.
Bercouli: With this blow, I'll make it clear! HRAAAAAAAAGH!
With the swing of his sword, he sends a spinning projectile at Vecta. But he breaks free from the ice and steps aside.
Eugeo: He evaded it?
Bercouli: Time-Splitting sword! Karagiri!
A spinning projectile flies to Vecta from behind, but he holds it using his hands.
Bercouli: So you can devour people's incarnation?
The projectile disappears.
Vecta: Incarnation? I see. Mind and will, huh? Your minds are like old-vintage wine. Rich, thick, and heavy... with a lingering aftertaste. It's not to my taste, but perhaps good for cleansing the plate before the main course.
Vecta takes out his sword.
Vecta: Now, let me drink more.
Eugeo and Bercouli: Shut up!
Both of them swing swords at Vecta. As Bercouli and Vecta chain blades, some dark mist hits Bercouli, and everything around him gets foggy.
Bercouli: What's going on? No, what was I going to do in the first place?
Suddenly, he feels a slice on his shoulder.
Bercouli: What?!
He snaps out of it and jumps back.
Eugeo: Bercouli! Are you okay?
Bercouli: Did I just space out? You! Did you suck my incarnation straight from my sword?
Eugeo: If we can't attack him by crossing blades, let's do it from afar!
Vecta: That reminds me. I haven't tried this yet.
He points his sword at them, and sends some lines of dark aura at both of them.
Eugeo: He can do it from a range as well?!
Bercouli: No way!
They both space out. As they do, Vecta slashes both of them.
Eugeo and Bercouli: Gah!
They both heal themselves with sacred arts.
Eugeo: How are we going to stop him?
Bercouli gets a flashback of when Administrator told him about having a premonition about death.
Bercouli: This is the place where I might die, Your Eminence. Little one. I wasn't able to give you the fatherly love you craved deep inside. After all, I don't even remember my own parents. But I do know one thing. A parent will die protecting their child. Not that you'll understand that as long as you live, you monster!
Vecta: Hee hee!
Eugeo: I'm not losing Alice again. I can't repeat that same mistake! I'm going to take her back home, safe and sound! No matter how many strikes you hit me with, I'll keep standing back up!
Bercouli: They grow up so fast.
Meanwhile, at the ruins.
American Player: What the heck? This game stinks. I'm going to log out soon!
Asuna stabs him from behind and he disappears. She ends up looking beat up.
Knuckles: There's too many!
They look and see more American players, ready to fight.
Asuna: I'm not giving up. I'll stay standing forever!
Tails: Me too!
Knuckles: Yeah!
American players: Go!
The American players charge at them. But suddenly, a blue light appears from above. Everybody stops and looks.
Asuna: Enemy reinforcements?
Knuckles: Wait. Something feels different.
Three blue lights fly down, and take the form of people. They swing their blades at the Americans, cutting them down.
Asuna: A sword skill?
Three familiar faces appear before them.
Yuuki: Hey guys.
Ruby: How's it going?
Klein: Sorry to keep you waiting.
Tails: It's Yuuki! Klein and Ruby as well!
They all look at the huge amount of blue lights fly down from the sky.
Yuuki: Backup is here.
