After Zeus slapped the Argo II back to long island, and Annabeth and I had rallied the Greeks with my amazing battle cry, I was starting to feel as though things were finally looking up in this Great Prophesy. Then of course, the ground beneath my feat started to form into the rough shape of a woman, who I knew wanted nothing but blood. More? I already bled for her in Greece, how much does she want?

Then Leo, that heroic idiot, swept the goddess into the air on the back of Festus, the happy dragon. I wanted to help but Frank was right, this was Leo, Piper and Jason's battle. My fight was hear on the ground leading the Greeks into war.

I fought Gaia's forces with everything I had, confident in the strength of my two families fighting as one, in Annabeth to defend my blind side, and most importantly in my friends int the sky to put Gaia back to sleep.

They were so high up it was hard to hear them, only faint voices just barely audible over the ravings of Mother Earth. None of which was more interesting than the Earthborn currently trying to bisect me. That is until I heard the calm words of an opponent who knew they had been beaten drifting down from the sky. "I banish you from my domain, may the Earth reject you, may the ground on which you walk make to throw you from it, for you do not deserve to trod on that which is me."

Then the sky erupted into golden flame. Leo… was my only thought. I knew immediately they had done it. And as Jason and piper descended, weeping, I knew what it had cost. Earthborn around us sunk into the ground. I made to fall to my knees and mourn the loss of my fallen friend, only to feel an icy hand grip my heart and force me to them instead. I had the sensation of flying, or falling, though I was firmly on the ground. I wondered at Gaia's last words, but no one else seemed to feel this.

I saw Annabeth walk toward me, having just hugged Piper, concern in her eyes. "Hey Wise Girl," I forced out. "I know Seaweed Brain, but he will be remembered as a hero," she comforted, oblivious to my vertigo. Finally, I felt the ground begin to give underneath me.

I shoved Annabeth away from me, I knew what was coming and I would not put her through that again. I spoke as quickly as I could, "I wish for lady Hestia and Lord Hades to be returned to their rightful places on the Olympian council," she looked at me, confusion and panic written on her face. "I love you Wise Girl, I will come back, I swear it on anything there is to swear on, even if I have to climb up with my bare hands."

And with that, the ground beneath me gave way to darkness, and my body caught up with the sensations I had felt for a minute now. I shot My Wise Girl one last lopsided grin, almost cringing at the look of horror that shouldn't have been worn by such a beautiful face, and promptly fell into hell.

Hello, I'm just trying something new today. I've never written anything for people to see that wasn't graded, and wanted to step out of my comfort zone a bit. I can't promise that I will ever post again. I have a lot of ideas for this story, something I do in my free time is think of ideas. And I also often have ideas while I'm reading fanfiction that I keep to myself. Thanks for giving it a try any way though!
