Life becomes a ghost
Sad boy so terrified of love and dreams.
Hope for death once lost
Nothing you expected, nothing as it seems.
Yes, just another angry ghost
I'm blind to everything , and then
I am
Falling to your arms again
Taking in your breath
Weightlessness and death surrounding me
I'm blind to everything, and then
I am
Running from your side again
Feeding this charade again, and then
You are, you live, you see.
After spending the night in Ravio's arms Link was not willing to spend another day or night without him. He took advantage of the power he felt within and of his heightened senses to free the last sage and defeat Yuga-Gannon.
Hilda turned against him, as he expected. He feared the consequences of facing her in battle, yet was ready to slay her if she did not relent her aggressions against Hyrule.
He braced himself as Hilda took a conformational stance.
"Please this has to stop!" Ravio ran into the room screaming, stumbling, and bearing the strong scent of vintage milk and vanilla.
Link's mouth fell open and his eyes went wide, surprised to see Ravio there and in the obvious state of intoxication he was in.
Ravio spoke in equal amounts of nonsense and truth; defending Hyrule against his own queen and, to Link's amazement and relief, convincing Hilda to allow the safe return of Hyrule's triforce, its princess and its hero to their land.
Hilda led the way to Lorule's golden land with Zelda following her close. Link and Ravio followed the princesses a few steps away as any proper royal escort would.
"Play along" Ravio whispered to Link's ear as he switched Link's bracelet for another which resembled it. He smirked, caressed Link's wrist and winked at him before rushing to hold the door open for the princesses.
Hilda asked for Link's bracelet. She could sense its power was weak, but sufficient to send Zelda and Link back home.
Ravio took Link's hands and went through the rhetoric a farewell speech which would have sent Link into a panic were it not for Ravio's previous remark.
"What is he up to?" Link thought, smiling mischievously as Hilda sent him and Zelda home.
Link lost consciousness and woke in high alarm. He had never experienced this when crossing the worlds on his own, and Ravio's last discourse ringing in his brain briefly confused him.
Zelda eased him to his feet and senses, and her words reassured Link that his wish of restoring Lorule's triforce was a just and noble desire. She aided him, joining him as he laid his hands on Hyrule's triforce.
Zelda's thoughts were commanding, Link's were pleading.
The triforce responded to their will restoring its counter in Lorule in a heartbeat.
II.
Steam rose from the crowd; the afternoon was dry and cold, and only made bearable by the several bonfires the soldiers of Hyrule kept alive in the castle's courtyard.
Castle servants set up tables and worked with diligence to hand out enough drinks and treats for the Townspeople, as most had shown up and made up a numerous crowd.
Link observed them all from a dark corner. He had planned to enjoy the festivities, but he realized he no longer felt he was amongst friends.
"Why are we here?" Ravio sat on Link's lap with his arms wrapped around Link's neck and his hood pulled back only enough to allow him to rest his forehead on Link's shoulder.
Sheerow flew faithfully above them despite his abhorrence towards the cold.
"Because…Ah!-" Link hissed, trying his best to be silent as Ravio bit down on his neck. "-Because Princess Zelda ordered this party and said I should attend"
"With all that you've done you should get a good reward and be allowed to just go home"
Link smiled reaching around to give Ravio's glutes a playful squeeze.
"How did you know what I was doing today?" He asked.
"I follow you around sometimes, Mr. Hero. Just to look at you. All of that was really scary. I was really scared. Yuga was kinda ugly, I dunno what Gannon looked like but that whatever thing-beast they became together was ugly-ugly. From what I read in in my books I thought Gannon was like a gigantic pot belly pig, that wouldn't have been so scary" Ravio started lightly shaking. His hood seemed stoic to Link.
"I like pot belly pigs." Link replied as he stroked Ravio's back to soothe him.
"May I?" He pointed at Ravio's hood.
Ravio lifted his disguise and gave Link a kiss on the lips before putting it back on and shaking his head no.
"Link!"
Link and Ravio jumped to their feet upon hearing Zelda's call.
Ravio stood for only a moment before knocking his hood back all the way then dropping to one knee and bowing his head as Zelda approached.
"And Ravio! I'm so glad you are here. I did not get a chance to thank you earlier." Zelda said.
"Thank…Me?" Ravio asked. His breath was heavy and his face shying into his scarf.
"For aiding Link in bringing me, and Hyrule's triforce back home without further bloodshed. Your wise actions prevented our worlds from breaking into war" Zelda's tone was humble.
"I…thank you, your grace" Ravio brought a trembling fist to his chest. He tightened his shoulders and bowed further, relentless in his obvious attempts to hide his face from whoever might be watching.
"Are you nervous young hero? Please don't make yourself uncomfortable on my account" Zelda reached for Ravio's hood and placed it back on his head.
"Thank you." Ravio's shoulders relaxed.
Link reached for Ravio's hand and gave it a firm tug.
Ravio recognized he meant to help him stand and complied.
"You need not kneel for royalty in Hyrule" Zelda remarked. She took notice of Link's gentle demeanor and of the enamored look in his eyes as he stared at Ravio. She giggled under her breath.
"It seems the ceremony I had planned will not be pleasant for you-" She glanced around them. "-Do you carry a weapon with you?"
"Only a fire rod at the moment." Link presented the item to Zelda.
"It's not traditional, but it will suffice." Zelda took the rod and lifted its tip above her head.
Ravio recoiled as Zelda gently tapped his shoulder with the item.
Link smiled beside his concern over Ravio's behavior. He bowed his head as Zelda moved to tap on his shoulder as well.
"I pronounce you both royal knights of Hyrule. You are each to receive a 9,999 rupee reward. You are dismissed; free to enjoy the rest of the evening as you see fit."
Ravio sighed in relief, then felt a smile creep up to his lips.
"Thank you Princess" Link and Ravio spoke in unison.
Zelda returned the fire rod to Link, and walked away with a smile and a regal march-like sway.
"Royal Knight…" Although his journey had been no easy feat, Link did not expect such recognition, or any reward.
"9,999!" Ravio jumped up and wrapped his arms and legs around Link.
"For Hilda's parallel, princess Zelda is not at all dim!" He cheered.
Link laughed and squeezed him tight.
"Do you get away with such speech in Lorule?" he asked.
"Absolutely not. Come on what do you want to do Mr. Hero! Can we go home now?"
"I want to eat a lot, and I want to sleep a lot and –" a deep blush grew on Link's cheeks "-I want more. A lot more."
"I can help you with a couple of those things!" Ravio signaled to one of the copious displays of skewers and roasted food that the castle servants prepared.
"Come on go get some food. I'll take care of the rest!"
Their lips met in a quick kiss once more, then Link walked towards one of the cooking fires.
"You seem sort of close to that merchant." Osfala intersected Link, interrupting his resolve.
"That is so." Link replied.
"Go away" He thought.
"You really did well Link. The sages, and all of Hyrule; we're all in deep gratitude, which is why I feel warning you is the right thing to do. You know your friend is no simple merchant, yes? People like him, well…You must know what they say about them. It would be best for you not to expect some fortunate exception, and as he is, well, who he is-" Osfala let out a distressed sigh and put his hand on Link's shoulder in a gesture of support "-It's obvious his heart can only be as fickle as yours is faithful."
Link expression was serious, yet unreactive locking his eyes to Osfala's.
Osfala looked away and released Link's shoulder.
"Please don't think it harsh of me. I only speak out of concern. Based on what I observe" Osfala dragged his last few words as he directed his eyes a far.
Ravio stood at a distance giggling with the same soldier he had been speaking with at the bar several nights before.
Link turned and continued on his way towards the food without so much as looking as Osfala again.
He made himself of a couple of seafood skewers and a game meat stuffed pineapple. He scoffed them down and scanned around for other treats.
"Link!"
"Link"
"Look grandma it's that green boy that saved me, Link!"
Sarhasrala, The Blacksmith and Irene approached Link at once.
Ravio figured Link would take a good while to have his fill of food, and thought it was fair to allow him some moments to enjoy the princess's party; however, such events were not to Ravio's own liking. He busied himself by conducting some brief business, then with taking a crate-full of trade goods back to Link's home.
He took his time going back and forth as he circled around trees and corners to avoid the monsters which, although seemed to be dwindling in number, were still present in Hyrule's paths.
"Everything turned out so different than what I had planned Sheerow" He spoke as he made his way back to Hyrule castle.
"I have so much to figure out. What I expected did not come to pass." Ravio stopped on his tracks to give himself a moment to think.
"What will I do now? All that stuff Link said. What do I even really know about him? What does he believe he knows about me?... He is so much." Ravio frowned. He felt uneasy, and guilty as he realized it should be happiest day in his life yet there was still a heavy dread within him.
The biting cold chilling his core as he sighed pushed him to continue on his way, but before he could resume his leisurely pace a ghostly murmuring reached his ears, making him jump in place.
"What just…?"
His heart pounded fast and he felt a dizziness that was unrelated to his indulgence in vintage milk. He pulled on his scarf, shook his head and started running to Hyrule castle. Fear overtook him and all he could think of was being by Link's side.
Sheerow fussed and followed.
As Ravio reached the castle grounds he could hear Link's voice distorted by his loud screaming.
He found Link on his knees bound by a magic force which Irene had created around him.
The townspeople were speaking amongst themselves and gathering around Link.
"Link!" Ravio ran and kneeled by Link's side, dispelling Irene's magic and reverting it upon her with a quick swing of his hand.
"Link!" He took Link's face between his hands and met his distressed gaze. Link's eyes were wide and wild like blue flame flickering in strong winds.
"It's you! You are the one who has caused all of this!-" The Blacksmith's face was red with anger. "-Stay away from him!" He screamed at Ravio as he stomped towards him.
Ravio's opened his eyes wide; seeking darkness in order to focus.
The nearby cooking fire grew into a dangerous blaze which sent the Blacksmith, as well as the rest of the townspeople, scattering away from the burning heat.
Sheerow flew into Ravio's scarf to shield himself.
"Come on!" Ravio took Link's hand and ran, pulling him along to the back of the castle and upsetting another bonfire on his way.
Ravio brought Link's arms around himself.
"Do not let go!"
Link did as he was told. He held on tight as Ravio pushed him into the castle's wall and took him across the worlds.
Heavy snowfall and chilling gusts of wind greeted them as they emerged in Lorule.
"Hylia!" Link shivered. Lorule's winter was colder than any he had ever experienced.
"This way, this way!" Ravio dragged Link to a nearby door and into a part of Lorule castle which Link had not previously seen or explored.
He led Link through a long corridor that felt darker and quieter than the rest of the castle.
"Come on. In here"
They entered a room as large as Link's home.
Scribbled papers were thrown about the floor; Several books were arranged in less than neat fashion on polished bookshelves; A large bed piled with irregular blankets in different shades of purple sat almost dead center of an emblem painted on the ceiling; There was a messy desk on a corner across from a small lit fireplace; Bottles in different colors and sizes, crystals, and various small objects made out of various materials were placed with an apparent purpose on the fireplace's hearth.
Link stood still taking in his surroundings.
"This. It's his room," he thought as he let out a heavy breath of relief.
Sheerow flew across the room onto a perch that was built into one of the bookshelves.
Ravio removed his hood.
"What happened?" He asked as he also shed his scarf, boots and belt.
"How will I cross back?" Link felt a rush of panic as realized he no longer had his bracelet, and there were no more fissures between the worlds.
Ravio did not think that matter to be important or relevant at that moment, yet he walked to his desk to retrieve Link's bracelet from a drawer. He slipped it back onto Link's wrist to ease him.
"We can go back tomorrow. We'll cross right through my house. So what happened?" Ravio asked again.
Link stood silent for a moment. He felt stiff and it was with great effort that he brought himself to speak.
"I don't know," he answered. He was aware of no more than the stress he had just endured.
"Thanks for getting me out of there," he added after another long pause.
Ravio rested one hand on Link's chest.
Another deep breath escaped Link's lips.
"Come on get those boots off Mr. Hero, let us get some rest" Ravio sighed.
"I was bound….I should take off my boots….So much has happened today." Thoughts came with littered lethargy to Link's mind.
"I'm so glad you are with me," he said.
Ravio sat on his bed and smiled at the remark even though he was still shaking from the ordeal.
"That sage Irene. The magic she used, I wonder why she thought it necessary. Earlier you were talking to that guy who kept my sand rod for so long, I'm glad you got it back I don't like him; He seems like a jerk. He kind of gives me the creeps."
Link recalled his conversation with Osfala and could then remember feeling ill when Sarhasrala and The Blacksmith were talking to him, yet he was still unaware of what happened.
"He is a jerk." He agreed. He finally found it within himself to move freely. He removed his boots, and stripped down to his trousers.
"You must be tired" Ravio said.
Link laid next to Ravio. The soft and plush blanket made his body relax. He chuckled, then cried for a couple of breaths.
"I'm too tired-" He chuckled again. "-I might be losing my mind."
Ravio stood and tucked Link in properly before joining him under the covers.
"I think it's ok to feel that way." Ravio knew everything Link had gone through for Hyrule must have been more than taxing on both his body and mind. His own body ached from stress alone and his concern over Link made him doubt he would manage to sleep; He planned to look over Link's slumber instead.
Ravio's thoughts were interrupted by Link's tongue plunging deep into his mouth and Link's arms drawing him close. Ravio's lips twisted into a smile as he realized things often did not turn out as grim as he expected.
"Rest. Relax." He said, breaking their kiss, yet brushing his lips against Link's as he spoke.
He ran his hands down Link's sides, then caressed his chest with heavy strokes moving up to his neck. He had found kneading out the knots in his hero's muscles was sensuous and satisfying, and the low sighs and sounds of pleasure coming from Link invited him to indulge. He squeezed Link's shoulder then bit down hard, yet careful not to break skin.
Link groaned and held Ravio tighter as he pushed him onto his back and rolled on top of him before sealing their lips in another kiss.
Ravio's hips moved in a slow rhythm against Link's. Link matched Ravio's movements grinding into him and letting out another deep sigh into Ravio's mouth, kissing him deeper as he breathed into him. Ravio moaned, allowing Link to draw breath from within him in return.
The sweet vanilla tang that Ravio always carried was filling Link's senses and quickly getting the best of him again. He put one hand above Ravio's nose, soft but heavy, preventing Ravio from breathing if it was not from Link's own breath. They continued this exchange breathing in synchronized opposition as Link delighted himself with the lingering taste of Ravio's previous inebriation. Each breath sent him deeper into a blissful stupor. They did not break apart until he became lightheaded and he felt his body lose most of its strength.
Ravio pushed him back onto the bed. He stared at Link's closed eyes and flushed face.
"You look so very tired, buddy." He giggled, then got up and rid himself of his remaining clothes. The cold and his nervousness made him tremble. He smiled wide and blushed deep.
Link stared smiling wide as well. He gathered his strength to shed his trousers and out reached for Ravio.
"Please."
Ravio took one of Link's hands, kissing his palm then crawling back into bed beside him.
Link laughed.
"I love this." He said.
"I love this too!" Ravio moved closer and entwined his legs with Link's.
Link squeezed Ravio's thighs, then groped his butt as they both giggled.
"Your skin is so cold!" Link said.
"And you're really warm!" Ravio kept giggling, elated by Link's attention.
"Open your eyes"
Ravio complied. Taking a moment to adjust to the faint light in the room.
"Does he see me the same?" Link wondered. He became hyper aware of the environment around him as he stared at Ravio's crystalline eyes. Strong winds of a raging storm outside howled a hypnotic song; the humid and scented ambient in Ravio's room was calming; and Ravio's icy hands moving on him relieved his heated skin as well as fueled an irrepressible warmth within him.
He held his gaze to Ravio's, recognizing the melancholy and anxiety which Ravio's songs described shining through.
Ravio trembled and breathed heavily through parted lips. Something inside him suddenly snapping, and demanding what he felt he had been robbed of for too long; the emptiness he always carried within crying out for Link to appease it. His desire drove him to move swiftly and uninhibited; kissing, licking, nibbling and squeezing his way down Link's body.
"This must be a dream" Link thought. Ravio's actions lifted the grief which had briefly engulfed him.
"Link."
Linked looked down to Ravio whose eyes were unapologetically fixated on Link's erect cock.
"I, can. Uh. May I taste you?" Ravio's face and ears turned a deeper red as he spoke.
Link's heart pounded harder and faster than he ever thought it could.
"Uh. Of- Yes, please yes."
Ravio rested his hands on Link's hips as he took as much of Link as he could fit into his mouth, falling short of taking his whole length.
"Ah! Ah! A-ghh!" Link's consciousness was wavering yet each of Ravio's movements incited an unrestrained moan. His body jerked lightly with his rapid heartbeat despite his attempts keep still.
Ravio's heart beat at par with Link's and his own cock became harder as he tasted Link's musky-sweet precum. He could not be careful, or slow. He savored his hero with eager delight as he would with candy; running his tongue over Link's shaft again and again then going back to suckling on the tip, each time trying to suck in deeper. He could no longer breathe easily as he felt Link swell larger inside his mouth. His hands shot down to ease his own erection which was throbbing harder with each of Link's thrusts.
Without the constraint of Ravio's hands pushing down on his hips, Link's gentle jerking turned into a desperate fucking of Ravio's mouth. He kept his hands at his sides gripping hard at the sheets.
Ravio closed his eyes tight and groaned low as he pushed himself to take more of Link's length. The feeling of suffocation and Link's repetitive whimpering exciting him and enticing him to suck harder as he pleasured himself with rough and wanton movements that matched Link's borderline violent bucking.
"Ra-rav-AH!" Link arched his back as he came, shooting his seed deep into Ravio's mouth.
The sudden sour rush in the back of Ravio's throat was a reward he did not know how to handle. He tried his best yet failed to drink it all down. He sat back on his heels. Semen and saliva were dripping from his lips and trickling down his chin as he panted desperate for air.
"Ah I ah!" His body convulsed as he felt his own climax rush through him, coming in several hard bouts onto Link's belly and chest. Link reached for him, wrapping him up in the blankets and holding him tight.
"I was so tired, but now…" Link felt energized and exhilarated. He laughed.
Ravio smiled, still panting. He snuggled into Link's chest, and brought the covers over his head.
Link continued to laugh.
"Sleep."
"Yes."
Hello. Despite of the long break, I have not ever abandoned this work. I have several upcoming chapters mostly written.
I write pen on paper; I have been unstable in terms of mental and physical health, and thus I've had very little time for transcribing. I will try my best to update as often as I used to. I hope my health will allow this.
Thank you for all reading. Reviews and comments are welcomed. Let me know what you think and like about this surreal-spiritualism type universe I am creating, as well as on my take on these characters. I wholeheartedly appreciate, and seriously consider any constructive criticism.
Find me on Deviant Art as Charlie-Chaos. I am still practicing my drawing skills therefore any Ravioli drawing suggestion is welcomed (although I cannot guarantee I will attempt them all)
I am a musician, the "poems" in the beginning of each chapter are actually my own song lyrics for unreleased material. A couple of producers have advised me to bring them down due to possible piracy, but it is my choice and I have not made up my mind on that. I would like to know if you enjoy them or if I might as well exclude them.
Thank you again for reading.
