Tauriel's POV
I walked along, hand-in-hand with Dagnir. I looked up at the brown-haired elf, still wondering where he could be taking me. We walked along the halls until we reached a room. A lot of noise came from the room- it sounded like children laughing and giggling. He knocked on the door three times, a chestnut-haired elleth answering the door. She had bright brown eyes that shimmered with a childish gleam. Her skin had a healthy pink tone to it, not a single blemish or scar in sight. Her hair was tied into a loose ponytail, a simple beige dress hugging the perfect curves of her body.
Everything about this elleth was perfect.
"Oh! Dagnir! Who is this child?", she asked, kneeling to see eye to eye with me. My face reddened a little from embarrassment. "This is Tauriel, Duvaissel. May I request for you to teach Tauriel Sindrian?", he replied with a tinge of blush on his own face. I nodded my head, understanding.
Dagnir was in love with Duvaissel. Duvaissel nodded in understanding. "Yes you may!" Dagnir let go of my hand as Duvaissel held out hers.
Taking my hand, she led me into the room, Dagnir following behind her like a shadow.
I stood there nervously, staring at a bunch of other elflings- most being older than me. However none shared my brightly colored red-hair.
I looked at the elleth, her hand giving mine a tight squeeze.
"We are welcoming a new friend! Tauriel, you can introduce yourself!", she exclaimed with a huge grin.
"Hi… I'm Tauriel…", I choked up, nervous from the many faces that I saw. A dark-skinned girl stood up, raising her hand in the air. "You can sit next to me!" I smile a little at the older girl. Duvaissel gives me a small nudge.
Slowly, I make my way to the girl. She beams at me, "I'm Eilianther! It's nice to meet you, Tauriel!" My face reddened even further at the friendliness of the girl. "I- Nice to meet you too, Eilianther."
Dagnir lurked in a corner of the room as Duvaissel began to teach. I pouted in irritation, not really understanding anything that was being taught.
Legolas's POV
I awkwardly stood between Faron and Raindir, the two glaring daggers at each other. "Um… aren't you guys supposed to be lovers or something?"
Raindir crossed his arms in frustration, turning his head away. Faron groaned. "You have been like this since yesterday, Raindir! What did I do now?" I cut in a bit.
"Probably something stupid."
"Shut up, Legolas."
Raindir didn't answer and instead called out to several soldiers to come along. "Head out.", he bellowed, heading into the forest. I chuckled a bit, nudging Faron with my elbow. "You really messed up, huh?" He sighed, leaving my side as I hid my laughter.
Hidden among the trees, we found the orcs after a considerably short amount of time. They spoke in their own language, a name being mentioned, sending a chill down my spine.
"Tarion's offspring is out here somewhere. Our mission is to find and kill it.", one of the orcs called out, a few cackles coming in reply.
Faron and Raindir narrowed their eyes. Raindir whispered to me. "My lord, what could the orcs possibly want with Tarion?" I answer the captain truthfully.
"The answer is beyond me."
Faron gripping his bow tighter. "Permission to kill the orc-scum, Legolas?" As I slowly nodded my head, I added, "Make sure to keep one alive."
Tauriel's POV
I stared at the teacher with the world's most confused and annoyed expression. We were learning about sewing which was the world's most irritating thing. None of my stitches were right! Eilianther attempted to help me but I refused- I will figure out how to use this needle even if it kills me!
Oh. And Dagnir was still vibing in his corner.
Byrion, an elfling in my class, kept boasting about his 'ada' who happened to be a tailor, as he made stitches close to perfection. Despite his yapping, Byrion was rather talenting in sewing.
Out of the blue, another boy challenges the talented one. His name was Ramon. "If your father is so strong, then why isn't he a soldier like my ada?" Eilianther hit the back of his head.
"You don't need to be a soldier to be amazing! Like Miss Duvaissel!", she reasoned, me nodding my head in agreement behind her.
"You're parents are only servants, Eilianther. They are below the soldiers. Oh wait. They're dead.", he sneered, both my new friend and I being shocked. Duvaissel looked quite irritated despite hiding it all behind a convincing smile.
"Ramon. Come over here for a second.", she says, smiling sweetly. Ramon swallows his spit, clearly nervous as several other elflings snicker in amusement.
After a very long talk, Ramon walked back over with the most pitiful expression plastered upon his face. "I'm sorry, Eilianther. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Being the way she was, the dark-skinned elfling beamed, "No worries, Ramon! Friends?" She held her hand out to him.
Ramon blushed like no other, Byrion and I exchanging glances.
"Friends!"
Legolas's POV
Faron and I watched as Raindir questioned the orc. "Why do you need Tarion? He died seven years ago." The orc laughed. "Like I would ever tell an elf-scum like you." Pissed, Raindir bit his bottom lip. "If you tell us, I won't kill you."
The orc snarled. "We will kill the offspring of Tarion. The traitor does not deserve for his line to continue."
Out of the blue, Faron stabbed the orc with a random arrow that had been lying around. Raindir glared at Faron. "Faron! You could have waited for at least five minutes before killing it!" I watched, deep in thought.
Tarion had a child? How come no one knew of this? Would they be aiming for revenge? If Tarion had a child, then so many could be put in danger.
The orc was surprisingly right.
We would need to kill the one with Tarion's blood.
It has been revealed that the child of tarion must die? How will they react when it is revealed that the one they are aiming to kill is Tauriel? Will everyone still care for her when they find out? Will Duvaissel and Dagnir end up together? How long will Tauriel remain friends with Byrion, Eilianther, and Ramon? Will Faron and Raindir make up? Find out in future chapters!
