Days passed, and then weeks, and the situation remained the same. Apparently nothing happened, as they wished: a quiet, normal, year in Hogwarts. It was what they wanted but not what they needed. They wished something to happen, whatever! Maybe someone that made a class explode by mistake, or a rumour about an handsome boy from giggling girls, really, anything! But most of hall, they wished something new to be discovered from the runes book.

Malfoy and Hermione had continued translating the books, at least once or twice a week they met, but during the rigorous translation not a word was heard. Password: -keep distance-.

"Professor McGonagall? Are you here?" Kingsley Shacklebolt, the minister of magic, knocked on the door of the principal's office. "yes, come in, Minister." "please, call me Kingsley." "sure, Kingsley." the minister had entered with his face eaten by worry, and perhaps a little by fear; McGonagall had certainly noticed it, and worry was also conquering her face.

"What's going on?" she asked. "there was an attempt to escape to Azcaban, and the dementors were on their side!" McGonagall eyes widened in an expression both astonished and pained. "has anyone escaped?" "fortunately not, but it was clear that the dementors weren't doing what they were supposed, they hadn't properly helped them, the Death Eaters who came to free the others; but we could see that they didn't oppose." the minister had lowered his eyes. "I knew that we couldn't trust them, horrible creatures. I've already told you my consideration of Azcaban and the dementors, right Minerva?" continued the minister. "of course, I believe that they are unreliable creatures too, and it's absurd to keep human in contact with them for years, until they stop... being human." there was a pause in which they didn't even have the strength to look each other in the eyes.

"why can't we relieve them of guards and put aurors in their place? Or maybe creatures who can live on the island but are not so destructive." McGonagall proposed trying to hide the plea in her voice. "I would really like Minerva, but where would the dementors go? After losing their inexhaustible source of lives to destroy, they will fly elsewhere, in the whole world, bringing their evil being everywhere. I can't allow it. Neither wizards nor Muggles deserve it." Despite he absolutely didn't want to, the new minister of magic was afraid, and he didn't know what to do.

"but then the Death Eaters could succeed in freeing all the others who are prisoners." "I'm afraid Minerva. They want to regain power, I don't know how long we will hold them." "Don't worry, Hogwarts supports you, and will always do, whatever decision you'll take, Hogwarts will help you find a solution in the difficulties." McGonagall said solemnly.

"But do you believe that with what's going on, it's safe to keep them going with the mission?" asked Kingsley. "I believe they will succeed, without a doubt." affirmed the principal.

"do you know anything about what they are doing?" "no, I know when they started, when I sent them to the room, but not what they are doing" "and if they had decided not to continue the research? Perhaps they would have thought of having only mistaken the place of the head's meeting." "don't say nonsense! They will certainly make it! just hope they do it in time." McGonagall reassured him.

"do you think it's better to give them a little push? Or at least tell them what's going on these days in the magical world?" Kingsley proposed. "good idea, but only to them, no one else should know. I will create customized copies of the daily prophet', which will be delivered to them tomorrow morning with the students' mail." the headmistress decided. "perfect". The two got up and went to the study door.

"Good night Minerva." "good night Kingsley." McGonagall replied as the minister went down the stairs.

The next morning while everyone was busy eating their own breakfast, as scheduled, an owl dropped six particular copies of the daily prophet' in front of the prefects and heads. The newspaper was rolled up and stopped by string, a note was fixed on the string and said: "keep the information contained in this newspaper for you, they are very secret!" no signature, just those words.

At the Gryffindor table Harry, Hermione, and Ron were carefully leafing the newspaper."there was an attempted escape in Azkaban?!" Hermione exclaimed a bit too loud, catching Ginny's attention. "How?!" Hermione knew there wasn't much more to do, Ginny was also in their secret organization; so she approached her allowing her to read the newspaper. Neville had also started reading with Harry, and therefore, they and Ron regrouped, and Hermione began reading the article quietly.

"a few nights ago, the night between 6 and 7 October, there was a raid by some Death Eaters in Azcaban, who escaped capture after the Battle of Hogwarts, to try to free the others who were captured. It seemed that they have been helped by the dementors, which means that we can no longer be sure that neither the Death Eaters nor the dementors will be in Azcaban for much longer, they could leave at any moment. Fortunately we managed to stop them in time, but we will have to take measures to prevent them from succeeding in their intent, now, we must monitor both the Death Eaters and the dementors as if they were also prisoners there."

"but how? the war is over, shouldn't all the Death Eaters stay in prison?!" said Ron.

"I'm afraid they couldn't get them all," Neville replayed.

"hey wait, there is another article: -raid at the ministry-" said Harry turning the page, and he began to read it.

"last month, there was an incursion into the ministry of magic, a death eater managed to enter, no one knows he was arrested, but he had already managed to evade surveillance. The reason of the raid is unknown; but we believe that the death eaters want to carry out a coup to regain power. We will double the security measures, meanwhile aurors continue to look for them, in order to put them all in prison."

"Since this summer the black mark has already appeared several times, few less than ten. Are the Death Eaters coming back?" Neville took the newspaper and opened the front page and began reading the titles: "raids at the ministry. dark marks. Foiled evasion in Azkaban!" he was interrupted by Ron "why are they telling us only now?"

"I think anyone besides us in the whole magic world knows this, except the ministry." Harry replied.

"maybe they don't want to stress wizards, they need time to recover after the war." said Hermione.

"but if it continues like this, then the war is not really over." Ron said "silent war." Ginny whispered.

"Why do you think they sent us these copies of the daily prophet', telling us that we mustn't tell anyone what was written in?" asked Hermione.

"and if it has to do with the hidden room?"

"maybe they sent you there for a reason..."

"but then, what should mean the death eaters with the fact that once in Hogwarts once there were five houses?!" Ron asked.

"I don't know, it was only a hypothesis!" Ginny shouted annoyed.

"we have to find out what dragons and the purple ring are, maybe they have a link with this situation?" Harry proposed.

"I dunno, tomorrow I have another meeting for the translation of the books we have found, maybe we will find out something." said Hermione thoughtfully-hopefully.

"in my personal opinion, I don't think you were wrong when you ended up in that room." Neville said.

"if they won't stop them, guess who's going to stop the Death Eaters?!" asked Harry

"we will!" the others replied with sarcastic joy.

"And here our adventure begins to take a potentially deadly turn!" Hermione giggled. The rest of them answered with a smile and went back to eat, reading the other articles.

As they left the great hall they stopped by Luna and Morgan who were chatting in the corridor.
"have you got a copy if the daily prophet'..." Harry began. "that forbade talking about it?" Morgan concluded. Harry nodded and everyone exchanged worried looks. "So, it's true, I thought it was a joke." Luna said.

"Apparently a silent revolt is going on by the Death Eaters." Neville replied. "Everything will be solved. if not... the heroes of Hogwarts will take the field." Said Harry first seriously then smiling. "Hopefully it won't be necessary." Morgan said leaving the group as they approached the history of magic class. "Of course, maybe the ministry will take care of it?" Luna asked rhetorically, as she separated from the others to get to her Defence Against the dark Arts lesson.

"when has the ministry ever dealt with it, in all our years at Hogwarts! I think we will have to prepare ourselves psychologically to fight, in case there is need." Harry said as they sat down at their favorite places, Hermione in the front row, Harry and Ron immediately behind, while Neville was in the last row, hoping Professor Binns won't see him.

"oh come on Harry! Do you really believe that after seeing hundreds of people die in front of us we need a psychological preparation!?" exclaimed Ron going to sit down "Ron, have I already told you that you've the emotional range of a tea-spoon?! You are insensitive!" rebuked Hermione.

Professor Binns entered the classroom, and everyone stopped talking.

That night, a girl was walking on the line of the protective barrier of Hogwarts, just a few meters inside the forbidden forest. only one thing could be seen from outside: the glow of the yellow-Black tie she was wearing. Megan, the new Hufflepuff from America, was Waiting for someone. A small group of death eaters walked to her, and stopped on the other side of the barrier.

"So? How's going?" Asked a death Eater with curly, brown hair. Two deep blue eyes were visible through the mask. Megan knew who he was, he was an handsome boy, they called him Plumeria, because even if it's a flower it sinks, just like me, who even though he's an handsome boy, with an innocent look, is a Death eater.

"good. Nobody suspects anything. Today I also made Granger and Weasley broke up, just for fun. But at least they will be more vulnerable. And I have a plan." she said with a bad laugh.

"Perfect. Keep the mission in mind. You have to gather every single information about Potter and his friends. And of course everything about Hogwarts." A death eater with two black eyes said. He was very tall and had skin darker than the night. Megan knew him too. He was Simon Blevins, and everyone watched their back from him.

"I listened to a conversation between the minister of magic and the headmistress. he told her about the death eater's attacks around the wizarding world. They know more than it seems. They have also assigned a mission to those Brats." the spy replied, rolling her eyes.

"Find out all that is known about this -mission-, and keep us updated. Maybe we can took advantage from it."the only female death eater of the group, Nancy Cohen, hissed. She was a short woman with straight dark air. As she finished talking they disappeared into the dark.
