"What will you trade, for your release? How badly do you want to return?"

Words like a spider-web, so enticing to look at only to entangle the victim forever sealing their fate no matter what. There was no way out, none at all. An offer so hard to refuse but one that needed to be made. The only thing was, at what cost? What cost would you give to return, considering the way you in a sense dead, after expelling your whole energy to cover New York, not realizing the cost and strain it had done to your body. That you faded away, leaving your body separating your soul from your physical form. Which many would call that being dead, remembering seeing as White Tiger cradled your lifeless body in her arms.

Watching her cry over it, with the other heroes soon gathered around her. Nick was the last one to arrive on the scene, distraught just like the rest but he hid it well. Power Man didn't hesitate to shed tears, Nova became enraged his way of dealing with it, Iron Fist took solace away from everyone, and Spider-Man couldn't wrap his mind around it fully, he just broke down falling to his knees in defeat and failure. Everything just seem to shatter before him, wanting to take your body from White Tiger who held you. And cradle you himself, refusing to accept the truth of you gone. Seeing everyone mourn for you, it pained you to see them like this. One of very last things you would ever want to do to them, cause them any sort of pain or suffer. They having lost enough already, to loose more now.

Apologizing to them for causing this on them, reaching out to them to offer them comfort knowing well it futile. Your hand went straight through Ava, devastated yourself coming to accept the hard truth. You where no longer living any more, leaving this Earth sooner than you wanted too. There was so many things you wanted to do, like becoming the Ultimate you, like Spider-Man/Peter promised he would help you do. The two of you would do it together, and from there you would make a name for yourself as a hero. Or a spy. Either one was fine, as long as you made your uncle proud and your mother. Who know you could reunite with after all these years. Accepting your fate regrettably, who knew spirits could cry because you did while you faded away from everyone, forever.

Forever, was such a long time. It never ended, just like infinity. An endless motion in nothingness, over and over again, with no stop nor beginning. A place that seem to stand still, as you felt the emptiness around only feeling you could feel, nothing solid to grasp. No heart beat. Even couldn't touch, yet you felt its brew flow through you. The surrounding was a first scary but you grew accustom to, not like you had much a choice any way. What was this place? It wasn't either of those places you had read about, one that was good the other a place of punishment. So what was this place?

There was no one you could asks, there was no one around. Even though there where others in the same position circumstances as you. Slowly you felt yourself slip away, everything about you from childhood to now. The memories, the bonds, your emotions began to fade. Leaving you as nothing more than empty shell. But, there came this desire, this desire that made you to fight against being faded away. It was faint, but strong inside, calling out for anyone or anything. This desire, was heard and someone took notice of your call.

And before you knew it, your soul was held in negotiation with another. Asking with an intriguing curiosity how you managed to linger in limbo like such, without giving into its effects. As their eyes studied you, looking straight into you passed everything realizing without you saying anything what it was. A coil smile came to their lips, one you felt hesitant about. Their yellow menacing glowing eyes stare at you with great interest, as they stoked their chin. Pondering your faith in their mind, the rise from their chair, with a wave of their hand bringing you close to them. Grasping your chin, studying you more like they knew you or you resembled someone.

There, they saw it. Surprised and delighted upon this discovery which you did not seem to follow, which they could tell. Tilting your face to the side to get a better look at you. Their thumb gently caressing your cheek.

"..."their menacing sharp tooth grin never left them. It coiled more and more with each heartbeat.

This enticing feeling came over them, you could feel it cover your whole body as they leaned in closer and closer to you. Just two inches away from, their hot breath you surprisingly could feel on you. It amazed you more they could actually physically touch you, seeing the condition you currently were in. Unable to make out the look in their eyes, either lust or something else. But it was something deep, this sense of uncontrollable desire. This sense of pride gleamed in their eyes, as if they had won a treasure. They knew something you didn't, you could see it. Deep almost seductive chuckle came from them, that could make anyone cave in. A feeling came over your body, as it was longing for them. The wanting, the craving desire for your capture. They clearly enjoyed every bit of it, watching you become enamored. But this wasn't what they wanted, even if they could easily take it.

No, there was another vendetta behind those glowing yellow eyes. They lean in closer to your ear and whispering the same question as before.

"What will you trade, for your release? How badly do you want to return?"

That was not the only thing said, there was more added. Before you could say anything, it was like they read your mind already knowing the answer. Lighting fast they grab hold of your wrist, a grip like fire your whole body began to burn in painful agony. Music to their ears, they whisper for you to scream more and more, knowing you would, taunting that you wanted this and what one desires can be utterly painful. No remorse only extremely delight. Adding that the daughter would pay for her father's treachery. With that they release their grip on you, stepping back watching as the flames engulf you painfully.

Like anyone body on fire, it was unbearable and you drop to your knees unable to take the pain. Rolling around upon the ground, crying for it to stop calling for any help from anyone. But there was no one there to offer it. Those yellow eyes just watched you suffer with great pleasure. Telling you if they could not have what was taken from them, their your father would have to pay this way. Stating you almost had her resemblance. And he was just helping you out.

Your screams did not faze them, they take their seat back upon their throne when a bright light emitted from somewhere. Startled and caught off guard by this they turn around hissing at the intruder that came, before they could attack they where knocked back by a powerful blast crashing into their throne, knocked out. Hearing a voice that was all to familiar, in fact two you knew though one that surprised you. Your mind was daze and still pain, while pain upon your body had stopped. Vision blurry, you couldn't make out who stood in front of you protectively. All you knew was, you saw this bright light that was thrust into you expelling the flames away and the pain. Along with a sorry.

It was just as painful as the flames, but the effect didn't last long. Hearing what sounded like Danny's voice calling to someone else telling he had you. Before you could really comprehend what was going on, someone scoops you up and rushes off with you, out of this nightmare place. Unable to take the mental pain, you pass out.

Unsure how long you had been out, one thing was sure when you awoke. You found yourself surprised to have a physical form, last you remember you nothing but a spirit. Now you had skin, bones and everything a body has. The only thing different about this new body was, your hair. No longer was it black like your mother's instead it was white, and you had red markings under your eyes as if someone carved them there. There was more, upon your forearms strange markings, that seem flash for a second before fading away. Confused and baffled by it all, as you stood there in front of the mirror. Touching your face to make sure it was real. It felt right, but something seem to feel different. Yes different.

The door to your room opened and in the reflection, Doctor Strange. He greets you properly, though his words didn't seem happy. More like he had unpleasant news for you, he steps to the side asking you to follow him. For it was imperative. Not wanting to argue, you follow him.

Walking through that door, yes you remember it clear as day still. What Dr. Strange told you, the news came as quite a grave shock to you. When he told you everything, what you now where, thanks to your genetic structure only amplified it more. And who that person was that held you captive and what they did to you. To add more to it, what truth you where actually told just came like a blow above anything else. It just didn't make any sense, it just couldn't be true having been told you where theirs. To find this out, and because of your desire that was used as leverage for you to now exist on this plane. For you to be able to obtain this new body, a body you would have been able to get back the proper way, because of your mother's side. Though it would have taken a bit longer than because you were only half. Sicken by all this, breaking down. Torn up inside now because you gave int your desire. A desire that kept you alive in Limbo, a desire you wanted beyond anything. Now to be used as your Achilles heel, your Trojan Horse in a sense. Should you slip up, everything would come to an end. Leaving you stuck, just like back in Limbo.

You question yourself, if it was worth it? Dr. Strange told you, he would do everything he could to break your chains and set you free and so would another. Though because of the state of all this, he told you that you needed someone to keep you stable and keep you from being taken over. And the one who could do that, was Danny. Due to his Chi, its pureness would keep you stable. For the time being, the two of you would be connected and become one. And out of any sort of circumstance you could not give into your desire no matter what. For not just your sake but also the others. Using his magic he binds you and Danny together, at first you did not take it well being forcefully bonded to Danny. Even though he was a good friend, and kept you stable through the horrid demons you had to bare. But it soon grew on you, this was not your real desire, not even close to it. Though it felt a bit generic, it began to grow on you as it did him. He took his duty towards you seriously, moving in ever motion you did, in a sense perfect harmony. Over seeing your training, training you had to endure with the help of Black Widow, Captain America and surprisingly Wolverine.

Everything was fine, until you had came back. Came to reunite with everyone, to see them again. It would have felt the same if not for the distant you put between yourself and them. While still wearing a facade in a sense, that everything was right. It didn't stop your desire from pulsating, Danny was there to keep it at bay so you would not go off it. His help worked for a bit, until she came into the picture.

Jewel.

When she came, your desire grew even more. Making you unable to keep this up, it was just pure agony to be the way you where to her. Even with Danny's encouragement, to make you form some sort of connection with her. But you where just afraid of what might happen should you do so. And because you it, you nearly lost her. A change of heart came over you, seeing this as loophole with her for your desire. You could throw it all on her, while keeping your actual desire at bay. It worked for a bit, but soon that desire started to push back assuming this was a good sign. it became harder for you, a line began to form with this desire. That could break any time.

You knew they where trying to reach out to you, to find any way to connect back with you like before. When the games began between heroes and villains, your daughter on the line, scared you. But your desire assured you things would fine, they would get Jewel back for your sake. A promise they would produce. Their words touched your heart, that you locked away. Secretly entrusting them to uphold their promise they had given you. Only for you to get thrown into the mix of everything, to fight for sake of Jewel against your desire and the others dear to you. Luckily Danny managed to end your suffering for you before it became to much. Taking you out of the games. It was better that way, all that mattered was they would free Jewel. If you stayed captured like this for the rest of your life, it would be fine by you. Your desire would no longer cause you pain. Pain of longing.

If only could have stayed captive, but the games had to come to an end. Releasing everyone from them, all heroes and villains. Though unhappy about this, you were happy that Jewel was safe and well. She raced to you, embracing you tightly even crying how she missed you. You expressed your emotions to your daughter that you too where happy to have back and well. Happy that everyone was back and well, though mainly Jewel.

"Daddy!"Jewel races across the walk way, her arms open wide.

Peter gets down and scoops her up in his arms, both of them hug each other happily. Both with their matching smiles, Peter always smiled when he saw her. And Jewel's spread across her face with a great delight. Laughing heartily.

You stood there on the side walk, the sun had just set and night took the place of day. Watching the tender moment between the two. It was really touching, Jewel had on her backpack packed with her belongings to spend some time with Peter at his place. Hugging his daughter tightly, before planting a kiss on her cheek he sets her down ruffling her hair.

"It's good to see you too, Jewel."Peter tells his daughter. He thumbs over his shoulder inside."Aunt May is in there just pulling the cookies out, why don't you go and see if c-"

Saying no more, Jewel races inside screaming for her Aunt May. Who knew of Peter's secret identity as Spider-Man. Having known along, and was even able to piece together he was Jewel's future father. Telling him it wasn't that hard, seeing she had most of his personality. May quickly accepted her grand-niece into the family which Jewel formed a deep attachment to her Aunt. There was always an open door policy for Jewel, who could come over whenever she wanted to spend time. Jewel ended up taking a liking to some of Aunt May's hobbies. Hearing May and Jewel scream upon hearing seeing each other, brought a pleasant smile to you and Peter's face.

He chuckles softly, shutting the door a bit. Turning to look at you with his smile still on, gesturing over his shoulder to inside his home. Inviting you.

"You're welcome to stay."he offers, hopeful.

Like the many other times he offered, whenever you came to drop of Jewel or to pick her up. Your smile dropped like always, and you turn sort of a cold shoulder to him. Declining his offer. Though mainly so he would not see pain you had in your eyes every time, nor the tears you wish to shed. Silence stood between you both, colder than the night. Peter never really understood why, all he did was just stand there and came to accept it. Even if it bothered him, out of respect he let you have your space, this time though. This time he couldn't, with nothing else to say you began to leave.

"Kylie. Wait." Peter grabs hold of your arm, stopping you from leaving.

His hold on your was firm and gentle. You didn't resist it, nor even try though it would be easy. He had expected you to at least yank your arm away from him, but seeing that you didn't, he wasn't sure what to take of this.

"Do you have something to say?"you asks, your words seem a bit cold.

The way you spoke, he wasn't sure if he should say something. But his own personal feelings over looked it. Stepping closer to you, just about half an inch space between the two of you. Your back remained to him, you could feel your heart beginning to race rapidly, contrasting with your stone expression. Peter hadn't said anything, instead he made his actions speak for him. Letting you go, and transfers his arms around you, around your shoulders hugging you. His body tensed up for second before relaxed. Your body though tensed up from his physical contact, you could feel everything from this hug. His confusion, pain, longing, solace and comfort. He just wanted you to let him in, he wanted to express his feelings to you. He wanted you. Just you. It was like he was forgiving you for your behavior towards him, if only you told him what was going on.

Why, why weren't you doing anything?!

You should be doing something, right now. Getting him off of you. Just something, not allowing him to embrace you like this. Frozen, you didn't know what to do now. Your mind began to race, thinking what Dr. Strange told you, your desire was feeding off all this. Becoming stronger than ever, that trying to keep down was almost futile. Fighting back this urge, no urges. Wanting to so badly tell him, to let him know what you did and why you couldn't. But that would mean, giving. Letting them win, and if they won. Than...than it would all be over. For his sake and everyone else, you jerk yourself away from him. Turning around glaring at him, almost like a snarl.

"..."he was taken back by this.

Realizing this revert back to your normal self. Casting your eyes away, apologizing.

"Sorry, but please don't touch me."you tell him."I'll be back later in the week to pick her up. Have a good night, Peter."With that you turn and leave him behind. All the while tearing up inside for what you did. Apologizing to him, as those yellow menacing eyes watch you in the shadows.
