Author's Note: I know I haven't been active for quite a while, and I don't know whether I will be continuing "The Week You left Us", I can say with certainty that I will not be able to write as much as I used to. As I get further into my life, each day gets more busy, and in case of the slim chance any of you were wondering; I found the perfect ring to propose to my girlfriend with. It's this really good looking emerald ring and our calendars generate a perfect opportunity on August 21st. Anyways, I'm starting off my new era of writing (I got the virus -_-), with an archived idea from a few months ago posted on my instagram ( oreokingmega). Dear viewers, welcome, to The Project!

Fantastic.

Not only do I have to juggle my mixed feelings for Ladybug and Kagami, Chloe being an absolute dick, now I must deal with Lila for god knows how long. Adrien slouched at his desk, the sides of his lips were forced further down to his chin the closer Lila got to him. Ever since Mayura made a second Ladybug he had given up all redemption capability in Lila, Chloe might be able to dodge the missile aiming for her head if her attitude did a full 360. Sabrina sat at the back of the classroom, she refused to be Chloe's best friend after everything.

Adrien would love to complain about his father, but counting all his fatherly fuck-ups was getting old. If I think anymore of these thoughts I'm going to be akumatised, calm down Agreste. Just when he was about to regain focus, he felt a slight breeze brush his shoulder, as if someone was very close to him. Adrien turned to see a flustered Marinette, smelling his neck.

"Marinette? Why are you sniffing me?"

"Uhh- I uhh- the 2.0 fragrance Adrien new. Blah! I mean-"

Adrien let out a light chuckle. "I'm surprised you noticed. It hasn't even been released yet."

"You put some on after fencing practice, I got a quick whiff before you left. I mEaN bEcAuSe We FeNcE tOgEtHeR nOw NoT bEcAuSe I sTaLk YoU oR aNyThInG!"

Something else was new, Edwin from the original fencing team left the academy this year, leaving an open spot for a new member. A position Marinette won easily and refuses to regret. She also had slightly improved with her stuttering, at this point if something she said revealed her feelings or the fact she's a stalker is a one-way-ticket to stammering.

Adrien smiled, he thought about the day Marinette destroyed the trials, even defeating 2 members of the academy. Although her tactics could use work, her reflexes were as swift as lightning. "Thanks for noticing Mari, I'll make sure to get you a signed bottle over the weekend."

"Seriously? I don't think that's necessary..."

"Think of it as my way of paying you back for that autographed Jagged Stone album."

"You're-"

Marinette was interrupted by Nathaniel, who gave her a comic. "As always, one day early for half price. Here you go Marinette."

1 Euro paid off the tomato child, Marinette smiled at the title; Diary of Ladybug - A Hornet's Sting.

Adrien gaped at the comic, "Those are selling like your Dad's Croissants! How come you get a half price early copy?!"

"Nathaniel and Marc insisted on repaying me for introducing them to each other, so I get the comics early and cheap. Wait a minute; you read Dairy of Ladybug?"

Adrien blushed, "Well yeah, It's uhh-, interesting?"

"I get it Adrien, I sent an audition video to a boyband once. WaIt! O sHiT! bLaH! I mAeN-'

Adrien burst into laughter, "You tried to join a boyband?!"

Marinette pouted and looked down, that was when she was 12, she has embarrassing visions of that clip every night before she goes to bed. Adrien gaped; his playful joke actually hurt Marinette. "I'm sorry! I was just joking! I wear Ladybug Pyjamas-!"

If Miraculous was an anime; Adrien just had his non-colour, still frame, embarrassing moment. Marinette crawled into a fit of cute giggles, "You wear Ladybug-" She couldn't stop herself from snorting, she didn't even know Ladybug pyjamas existed, she wiped a tear of joy from her eyes. "Ladybug pyjamas!" Her giggles turned into howls of laughter, loud enough to piss off Ms Bustier.

"Marinette! Quiet please! Adrien you too! Your textbooks aren't even open!"

Adrien straightened up, "What question are we up to?"

"Adrien this isn't a math class; this is Geography and you are meant to be following along as I explain Mercator."

Marinette stepped in, confused. "We do Geography on Friday, why are we doing it today?"

"Today is Friday! You two are disrupting my lesson! Go to the principal's office!"

Marinette and Adrien took their bags and walked silently out of the room, the silence stayed until Marinette couldn't keep it in anymore. "Ladybug Pyjamas!"

Adrien blushed and turned the other way, he couldn't bring himself to insult her about the boyband. I really want to get back at her because she keeps teasing me! But when he teased her last it looked like she was about to cry... Oh! I know!

"You have me on your walls."

Marinette widened her eyes and sharpened her lips. "I am a fashion designer, you are a model. We are best friends, your father is a big fashion designer. My first public and official design was all over the news because your father showed up, I have that design on my walls. You happen to be in it. Anymore questions?"

"Actually, yes. What inspires you to design?"

Marinette was starstruck by this question, designing was always something she was interested in but she only really started to make her own stuff shortly before she met Adrien. "What?"

"Why do you design? My father says he designs because he hates people with bad fashion; he finishes off with his favourite quote. If you want something done, do it yourself. Although I am curious, why do you feel like it's your duty to create clothes and accessories?"

Marinette didn't plan her words, like she usually does with Adrien; she just spoke from the heart. "I was never like the other kids, everyone was always watching all those animated princess movies for the childish romance and the silly plots. I always wanted to see the elegant dresses and suits, I loved figuring out what fabric and stitching was used after the movie based on their durability and setting. Creating things for people has always been in my family, my asian side owns many restaurants in China with my family being the top chefs, and my Dad came from a family of bakers; my French grandparents always were bakers. Up until I was 11 I wanted to follow my father's footsteps and become a baker."

Adrien giggled, "Then you wanted to join -pffft- a boyband."

"You deserve the truth, yes. A boyband member was my first option, but I'm glad I do fashion. I love doing it, and what's better? I'm amazing at it."

"So amazing you managed to wow not only my father but Audrey Bourgeois as well, and not even her own husband surprises her. She loves you, your last name isn't even Agreste."

"What does that mean?"

"Audrey is obsessed with Gabriel. My family is really weird." Little did Adrien know, it was actually a lot worse than weird.

They stopped at the door of Mr Damocles office, "Should I pull a Chloe?"

"Pull a Chloe? You're a dork Adrien."

"Firstly, I am not a dork. Secondly, pulling a Chloe is using my father's name to get out of trouble."

"And why would we do that? The Adrien Agreste I know isn't a bad boy."

"We could skip school and go to your boyfriend's place."

Marinette always hated it when Adrien called Luka her boyfriend, it all started on the second annual music festival that Marinette was the manager of Kitty Section. She was in Luka's cabin, getting his oh-so-useful wisdom. Marinette sat on his bed and she told him about her crush on Adrien, how she had started the process of getting over it. Luka was secretly screaming, the girl he loved finally stopped loving that oblivious idiot, but he could never say that to her.

Marinette blushed on his bed, "I like you Luka."

Luka's eyes widened, for the first time in years he was out of advice, out of things to say, and his cool was out the window.

Just before Marinette could finish her sentence, Luka got too caught up in his own desire. "But I still might need some ti-" She was shut up by Luka's soft lips, then Adrien walked in.

"Sorry Sorry! The festival is starting in 2 minutes, cya!"

Adrien shut the door as quickly as possible, he steadied his breathing and began to walk away. Why did my heart beat so fast? Why do I feel... Jealous? I'm not Jealous! Marinette is just a friend and I am in love with Ladybug! Keep it together and pretend like nothing happened. It's not your secret to share Agreste.

Marinette pushed Luka away, "Adrien saw us! What if he hates me now! Why didn't you let me finish my sentence Luka?!"

Luka looked down, "You are still in love with Adrien."

"That is what I was trying to say, I still need time Luka. Allow me to finish!" Marinette slammed the cabin door and bolted upstairs.

Present day Marinette broke her dam, and a flood of excuses came out with it. "Luka is not my boyfriend! We kissed once and that was months ago. You need to remember we aren't dating." The reason being is I am madly in love with you, please just spare me my misery and ask me out Adrien.

"I know how to make it up to you Marinette."

Marinette leaned closer, intrigued. "What's the plan?"

"You. Me. Andrés."

"Only if it's your shout."

"Of course it will be, I am repaying you aren't I?"

"Let's execute our plan."

"Ladies first."

Marinette walked in first, "I'd like to leave school."

"Ms Dupain-Cheng you of all people should know that we must get a note or call from your parents to do that."

Adrien walked in, holding his phone up about to press his father's contact. "What would my dad say if I told him that you wouldn't let me out of school and my principal needs a few minutes of your precious time?"

His eyes widened. "Don't be ridiculous Adrien! Your busy father does not have time to do something like this!"

Marinette waved at the principal as she walked out, "Au Revoir"
