Marco and Star fought the monsters back to back. There seems to be more monsters than usual and one monster in particular caught Star's attention. He was a lizard man. He was at Ludo's side giving him advice. Naturally the battle ended in Star and Marco's victory but the new monster sent chills down Star's body. She knew he was bad news. "Whoo-hooo that was amazing." Marco yelled punching his fists into the air. Star squealed as she knew it was time for Marco's famous nachos. She rushed him into the house jumping up and down while he was making her favorite snack. "Go and pick a movie." he said. Star then ran to the movie cabinet running her fingers through all the movies before landing on a movie. "Space Unicorns again?" Marco said sighing. "Yesss Marco Space Unicorns." she yelled smiling and sqealing. Marco couldn't help but smile as he sat beside his best friend with nachos in between the two of them. Star sang the space unicorns theme song after the movie had ended on her way to bed. "Space unicorns, soaring through the stars. Delivering the rainbows all around the world."
Marco and Star were in their rooms both in their beds, both were blushing. "I wish that could have went on forever." Marco said blushing hardly before drifting off to sleep. Star on the other hand was still awake. "Wow." she said kicking and squealing yet again. She covered her face with her blanket as if to hide her blushing face from someone even though no one was there. A feeling of uneasiness crawled up into her stomach. She just brushed it off as butterflies in her stomach. She did just watch movies and eat nachos with her crush after all. After about half an hour of rolling around and twenty position changes she finally drifted off to sleep. "Well hello there princess." an unfamiliar voice that sent shivers down her spin said in the pitch black dream scape she was in. Starting to panic she stuttered. "Wh..Who are y..you and what d..do you want from m..me?" A pair of glowing yellow eyes and a cynical smile appeared before her, as a feeling of dread pours over her he spoke once again. "Nothing as of yet princess but soon I'll be coming for whats mine." Star woke up panicked, she was hyperventilating and was crying. Marco came running in the room the second he heard Star but to his surprise there were no monsters only Star in her bed sitting upright crying and breathing heavily. "It's ok Star, you're ok. It was just a dream. You're ok." he said in a soft soothing tone. He was hugging her, comforting her. Her heavy breathing steadily decreased to normal. She was only able to muster out the words. "He's coming for something and he thinks I have it." she cried into Marco's shoulder a bit more. Confused Marco asked her what she was talking about and who it is looking for what. She only answered that she didn't know.
"You want me to stay in your room untill you fall asleep?" Marco asked with a sweet reassuring smile. Star grabbed Marco's hand and told him that she didn't want to be alone tonight. Marco went to go and get a chair. He put the chair down next to her bed. Star held out ber hand to Marco, Marco took her hand in his. He noticed her hands were sweaty which informed him of her nervousness. Their hands intertwined he said. "Star go to sleep now. I'm here to keep you safe I promise." Star again covering her face to hide her deep shade of blush. Marco did nothing to cover him blushing, even though it was faint Star saw it and smiled before she started sleeping. Marco then fell asleep with his hand locked in hers. The next morning Star woke up early, earlier than usual. She felt a weight on her chest. She found that Marco had fallen asleep and his head must have fallen on her breasts. Star saw bags under Marco's eyes, dark sirkels under his eyes made Star believe that he had kept his promise and stayed up intil late. She saw their hands were still intertwined. She couldn't help but smile. A few minutes had passed before Marco woke up, he drooled quite a bit. He knew he drooled when he slept so he instinctively wiped off the drool but he didn't feel the pillow he was accustomed to. What he felt was something soft and firm, it was alot more comfortable than any pillow he had ever slept on. Star stared at him her mouth hanging open with embarrassment. Marco's eyes opened up to reveal an opened mouthed Star blushing very close to his face, he felt something in his hand it was round, soft and warm with a hard point in the middle. He lift his head to look at what he was holding. He started blushing profusely. Star jumped up and hit him with one of her pillows as hard as she could, which sent him flying to the ground.
Marco shot up and ran to his room as fast as he could, slammed the door shut and jumped on his bed. He sat there with his knees close to his chest and his hands covering his eyes, sighing. A few minutes had passed before his door was kicked wide open to reveal a furious Star. She stood there with her wand pointed at Marco, she was still in her nightgown which was very see-through. "Marco! Say your sorry. Apologize now!" Star yelled at him with her face blushed fully red of embarrassment. Marco quickly looked up and saw the angry mewnian infront of him but in a matter of seconds he covered his face. "I..I'm really sorry Star please forgive me." he pleaded with his head under his blanket. "Marco Diaz look at me when you apologize!" Star demanded to which Marco answered. "Star I..I can't do th..that." He then pointed at her clothes with his head still under the blanket. Star's gaze followed to where he was pointing to reveal to her that her body could be seen through her nightgown. She then ran straight to her bedroom and changed as quickly as she could. "I'm so glad I decided to where panties before going to bed yesterday night." Star sighed. Marco then went to go shower and Star was in the bathroom getting ready for school. As Marco got out of the shower with a towel around his body there was an akward silence for a few mimutes before Marco spoke up. "Listen Star I am really sorry for what I did, please forgive me." She just smiled and couldn't help but giggle. "I already forgave you Diaz but don't ever let it happen again unless you want a narwhal blast to the face." she said pointing her wand at him. She then lowered her wand and started blushing as she thanked him softly for coming to comfort her. Marco just smiled and gave her a hug. "Marco I'm not touching you while your naked." she said while giggling. They both sighed as the akwardness had finally blown over.
At the dining table Star and Marco enjoy a bowl of Captain Blanche's sugar seeds before heading off to school. They met Janna on the way to school. In Mrs Skullnick's class Marco and Star met gazes more than a few times. Janna eventually caught on and shoved Star on the side. "Hey psst, what's with you and Marco. Got anything going on?" Janna asked laughing. "Wait oh my gosh you are dating." Janna said covering her face with her hands showing a shocked expression to which Star immediately shot her down on the idea of the two of them dating. Janna then just laughed. Marco went to go and talk to Jackie, which both Marco and Star, thought was his crush. Star got jealous and stormed her way to them but her attention was caught by a musician playing his keytar on his car outside the school. It was Oscar Greason. She went up to him to try and start a conversation. "Uhm hey Oscar." Star greeted. "Sup." Oscar said with a nod of his head. "Ok beyy." Star said before running off to Marco and Jackie, she saw Jackie hanging onto Marco and they looked happy. Jackie and Marco parted ways before Marco came running to Star. She had this look to her face that Marco didn't know. "What's wrong Star?" he asked as he took her by her shoulders. With a sigh Star brushed off the question and feigned a smile, jumping up and down just yelling "Tacos, I want tacos!" Marco couldn't help but smile.
