He embraced the sleeping princess and leant against the wall, not long after he also fell asleep. Four hours later Marco was woken by her alarm clock that kept beating 'beep', 'beep', 'beep'. He slowly opened his eyes, he felt they were heavy as he slept late to make sure that Star was ok. He then looked at the beeping machine to reveal that the reason it was beating was because it was 6:50. Marco brushed lightly over Star's face with his hand waking her up. A sleeping Star caused euphoria to well up inside of him, he just couldn't help but be happy to have her in his arms. As she woke up slowly opening her eyes she was met face to face with Marco her rosy hearts on her cheeks shown bright red accompanied by a deep shade of blush that crawled up her face. She was fully awake when Marco kissed her good morning. "Star we have to get ready for school" Marco said which caused Star to groan and sigh. She was definitely not a morning person. In the bathroom both of them are were brushing their teeth with their love sentence toothbrushes. They were singing their favorite song. Just friends. Which was quite ironic. Marco thought to himself and thought out loud. "Are we just friends or are we more or what are we?" Star looked at Marco confused before she asked him "What do you think we are?". Marco jokingly said "Well looks like I'm dating a princess."
Star stopped everything she was doing, stared at him and jumped at him with arms stretched wide, she hugged him squealing loudly. She leaned in to kiss him, she couldn't contain her excitement. He stopped her before she could land the kiss "You are not kissing me with a mouth full of toothpaste." he laughed. "You know Star I..." he started to say before he saw the expression on her face go from bliss to worried in a matter of seconds. "I'm so glad right now but let's make it official, Star will you be my girlfriend?" he finished his earlier statement. Star's face lit up again. She rinsed out her mouth before running downstairs. Marco hurriedly finished up aswell before meeting with Star downstairs. They then left for school hand in hand. At the school they met up with Janna. "Nice dude, looks like my work here is done." Janna giggle as she walked into the school corridors. Both Marco and Star wore confusion on their faces. As the day went on Marco's feeling of uneasiness only grew. The last period of the day and Marco went to the bathroom. The class suddenly smelled of sulpur. When Star smelled the sulphur in the air she just slapped her face, burying her face in her palms and let out a sigh. "Oh no no no no no." Janna laughingly asked her "What you do?" to which Star answered "It's not what I did, it's who I didn't want to see." Janna now confused waited in anticipation. A wall of fire spewed from the ground, everyone in the room was in a panic except for Star and Janna. Star had an annoyed look on her face and Janna just kept rocking her chair "Cool" she said.
From within the fire stepped out a figure. He was wearing white shoes, white pants, a grey button shirt with a red tie and a white jacket to top off the fancy look. His skin was a pale grey color, hair that had a red hue to it, three red glistening eyes and a pair of horns. Fire erupted from his feet causing him to soar through the sky to right in front of Star. Star let out an annoyed sigh "Tom". "Star, I have come to ask you to the blood moon ball. So what do you say will you go with me?" Tom said with a smirk. Marco stood in the door, he heard everything. Star could tell that he was faking his smile. Star stood up took Tom by his wrist and walked out the door taking Marco by the hand and walking out the school door with each on a side. Janna sneakily followed. "Go home Tom" Star snarled but Tom was resilient. Star gave Marco a pleading look in hopes he would understand and speak up but Marco did not understand and mistook her face for one who wanted to go. "It's ok Star if you want to go, you can go" Marco still wore his fake smile. "Yo dude cool horns" a voice broke the awkwardness of the three, to their surprise the one who spoke was none other than Janna. Confused Tom only thanked her and asked "Th..Thanks, and you are?". "I'm like the super cool kid of Echo creek, I do magic and stuff and... Woah dude, you have three eyes" Janna said with flair and amazement afterwards. Annoyed Tom asks again "And you are?" Janna gives him her signature smile "I'm Janna and who might you be, besides being cool?". She had managed to embarass Tom by catching him off guard. He stuttered "I.. I am... My name..." Star cut him short with an annoyed sigh just saying "Tom, his name is Tom" Janna just responded with a "cool, so can you turn me into a demon?" Tom was now more confused than ever "How'd you know I am a demon?" Janna laughed as she answered "I'm Janna I just know things" to which Marco and Star nodded.
"So back to business, Star will you go to the blood moon ball with me?" Tom was determined to have Star go with him. Star smiled as she answered "Only if Marco and Janna can come with" Tom and Marco had their objections but Janna somehow convinced them to just go with it.

Marco put on his black tuxedo, the only parts that weren't black was his white shirt, red tie and blood red rose in his pocket. Star wore the most beautiful blue dress, her blond hair were braided and some of it were locks, she had a rosie pink lipstick on and changed her headband from horns to a normal royal blue one. Tom wore a white tuxedo which were gold at the edges, a red shirt, black tie amd shoes, and he had a black rose in his pocket. Janna wore an emerald green dress and let her dark brown hair hang loose a yellow was just above her left ear, she wore a light yellow eye shadow and a dark red lipstick. The carriage to the underworld appeared in a walk of flame, the demon carrying the carriage looked like it was suffering under all the weight. The carriage was in front of Marco's house. Star called Janna to tell her that they were ready. Marco, Star and Tom were waiting on Janna as she came running to them. She somehow managed to look just as beautiful even after running. She gave Star a pretty pink flower to put behind her ear whereher locks hung loose. Star went straight to Marco and asked him to put it in. Marco blushed as he put in the flower. They were close, really close, they felt the other's breath and Star then began to blush. Marco put his hands on her cheeks and kissed her forehead. Tom got uber jealous as his eyes were now glowing and his shoulders were ablaze. Janna smiled as she smoldered the flames on his shoulders "Shall we show the kids how it's done?" Janna said looking at Tom she was blushing faintly, almost unnoticeably. It was now Tom's turn to blush as he couldn't believe the words out of Janna's mouth. Star and Marco sat there hand in hand, Star's head was resting on Marco's shoulder, on one side of the carriage whilst Janna and Tom sat on the other side. Janna noticed how Tom kept staring at the two lovers opposite of him, at their hands. Janna took his hand in hers. It was warm and soft and it felt right. Tom hesitantly closed his hand to lock their hands together. "Relax dude, it'll be fun" Janna whispered in his ear.
Outside the banquet hall the four of them stood the two pairs held hands. Star held Marco's and Janna held Tom's. They entered and soon found some refreshments and places to sit. "Since Tom aksed me to the dance, I think its only fair if I dance with him first" Star said to Marco before giving him a kiss and leaving with Tom hand in hand to the dance floor. Janna nudged Marco's side and smiled "They can't have all the fun, let's go". Janna grabbed Marco's hand and led him to where Star and Tom were dancing. The first few songs Tom and Star danced together but they were rivaled with Marco and Janna's dancing. The song ended and let the dancers catch a little breather.
