A/N I hope you guys enjoyed the last chapter for the person in reviews who was saying that its another fanfic written by someone. I don't know about any such fic.

Tris POV

Shit. Shit. Shit. I am so dead when Christina finds me after she comes back. I was supposed to meet her at the office and then go with her for a case she had been preparing for but I got waylaid on the way.

I was running a little late as usual and I stopped by at Divergent for a quick bit. It is owned by Bud who is Tori's husband usually only Tori and Bud are here at this time and the new barista, Matthew. But this time I spot someone else sitting in my usual spot. Curious I drop into a seat beside him asking Matthew if Tori has left already turns out she has and Bud too.

I order my usual and as I wait for my order I decide to strike up a conversation with the stranger beside me. So I blurt out, "Hi!"

He replies, "Hey" without looking up

And just one word in that deep voice is enough to send shivers down my back. He had such a deep, sexy voice.

But when he doesn't even look up I snap at him a bit angrily, "Well at least you should look at people when they're talking to you."

He turns towards me and opens his mouth to say something but abruptly stops and stares at me. I am completely drawn into his deep blue eyes which look like an ocean I could drown in.

He is really handsome with a spare upper lip and full lower lip and just looking at his eyes makes me blush. Oh God! I hope he didn't see that but he is too busy staring at me like I have grown a second head or something. I quickly break out of my trance and snap my fingers in front of his face and say, "Hello?"

He blushes a bit and I am confused as to why he does that. He must feel embarrassed but then snaps out of it and asks, "Yeah what?"

So to satisfy my curiosity I ask him, "So are you new around here?" There. That wasn't so difficult. He hesitates a bit before replying, "Umm…yes"

Then I mentally facepalm myself as I realize I haven't even introduced myself so I say,

"Hi, I'm Tris" Actually it's Beatrice but I don't want to tell him that just yet.

Beatrice sounds like a very old woman but Tris sounds a bit badass. It was my best friend Christina who nicknamed me Tris as she said Beatrice sounds boring and I agreed with her thus the nickname stuck and now everyone knows me by Tris.

"Well I'm Four" he replies looking straight at me.

I am a bit surprised but don't question even as my curiosity still rises but I quench it down, I don't want to sound too rude.

I ask him about his job and he replies that the just moved here so he is still looking for one. Then I ask him for what kind of job he wants maybe I could help him.

He shrugs and replies, "Well I just completed a degree in law so I was looking for a firm but there isn't any vacancy available yet. So I'll take any job till then."

Then I remember that Al left that means there is a vacancy at our firm. Before I can stop myself I say,

"Hey that's great! I work for Dauntless law firm and we just had a recent vacancy, so would you like to apply for that?" I then hand him a business card which has the basic information. I try to convince myself that I don't want him to go to Erudite but I know that isn't the real reason still I try to ignore the part of my brain which is telling me that.

He replies, "Thank you but I can search for myself."

At that I'm done so I snap at him, "Well excuse me for helping, and have a good day." Then I leave without giving him a chance to say anything pausing only to pay for my order.

I feel a bit sorry for him but then I glance at my watch and see the time and suddenly realize I was supposed to be with Christina half hour ago. Oh dear God she is certainly going to kill me.

I rush to the office building and get onto the elevator although our office is on the second floor only as soon as the doors open I rush out mumbling a hurried good morning to Nita our receptionist and rush into the office almost bumping into Zeke.

He says, "Whoa Tris you look like you ran a marathon."

"Thanks Zeke but I was supposed to meet Christina 45 minutes ago and I am late. Ugh!"

"So that's why she looked pissed today sorry Tris my sympathy lies with you although I won't be able to protect you from her wrath." Zeke says looking slightly apologetic. I sigh and head to my desk. Wondering how I'm going to apologize to her.

I have an office of my own but I rarely use it instead I prefer to sit here with everyone. I open my laptop and check my appointments for today and see that I have a client meeting me outside from 1 to 3.

I look at the paperwork on my desk and decide I better finish it before leaving so that when I come back I can relax a bit. I start working as slowly everyone arrives as they pass by me they greet me and stop to chat.

Gradually the noise level in the office increases and soon everybody is just chatting including me and at that precise moment Tori enters.

Everyone freezes in whatever they were doing she looks around and sees a paper plane in Uriah's hand, Zeke and Shauna playing tag, smiles and gestures everyone to get to work which they do. She then walks towards me and tells me that someone is applying for the new vacant position and if I would interview them my mind immediately flicks to Four and I curse myself and wave it off and tell Tori that I have an appointment with a client at the same time.

She nods and says, "Well then I will just have Will interview him." And leaves my mind is buzzing could it really be Four. While thinking about Christina I had forgotten about him. I don't get to finish my thoughts when I hear Zeke and Uriah whoop and whistle.

Then Lynn announces, "Ladies and Gentlemen here comes the badass lawyer Christina Lawson followed by her sidekick Will." It's kind of a tradition here to announce that way. It started out as a joke but soon became a tradition and though it's silly I know everybody likes it just the same.

They both blush and thank everyone I stay seated until Christina is alone I quietly go up to her. Zeke is silently watching me and mouths 'Best of luck' to me I nod at him and continue towards Chris when I reach her I say,

"Congratulations Chris"

She turns around and sees me and becomes a little bit cold I immediately apologize but then she looks at me and begins laughing confused I look at her to see what changed and she hugs me and says, "You know just when to come late don't you? Well thank goodness for that when you didn't turn up Will offered to come with me and we totally slayed it together so after everything was over he took me out to eat.

I squeal pulling back I look at her and say, "So Chris was this a date? Spill everything."

So she does and I feel really happy for her when she describes their sort of date. I have suspected for a long time that Will likes her too and today just confirmed it.

Judging by the amused looks he is throwing at us he definitely knows what we are talking about finally after an hour of Christina telling me everything I tell her that I have a client to meet. She pouts at that but then laughs and says, "Come back soon you have some explanation to do and you know exactly what I'm talking about darling"

"Yes Chris I love you too bye!" I say as I walk away and internally groan at the interrogation I have to face this evening she will pester me until I tell her everything I sigh and push that thought back before leaving for the meeting with the client.

I still have 15 minutes though so I walk slowly around and observe the city and the people. I like doing it I know I sound like a creepy stalker or something but I just like to observe their body language, gestures and expressions. I have gotten quite good at it and sometimes it comes in handy too. It was something that my dad taught me so I could prepare for any situation should the need arise.

It also helps in the court as I can see the weakness of the opposition and can exploit them.

A/N So? How was it this was the first I wrote from Tris POV and I can write much more from her POV than Tobais' IDK why though but anyways I hope you liked it and please review. Thank you for the reviews reading them really encourages me. If you have anything else to say don't hesitate to PM me.
