A/N Hey guys I know this is sooner than I normally update but there were just a lot of things going on and well I couldn't sleep so I decided to take my mind off those things and thought anyways not gonna get any sleep so why not just write so I wrote this chapter and basically stayed up the entire night bcoz I went for training at 4 in the morning. Anyways I hope you like it and I apologize for any mistake regarding legal terms. Also please read and review and thank you for those reviews those really encourage me!

Tobias POV

The next day as I wake up I wince the beating was a bit harsh but nothing I am not used to so I just limp over to the bathroom and let my muscles relax at the feel of the hot water.

My thoughts wander and instantly drift off towards a specific gorgeous blonde. I shake my head at myself hoping no praying that we get along I would hate to lose her. Wait that doesn't even make sense 'cause I don't even have her. Argh! What am I even thinking?

I sigh and get out of the shower, tend to my wounds and dress for the day I decide on jeans and a semi-casual shirt and head outside. Luckily Marcus is in bed probably still hung over from yesterday. I silently slip out of the house and drive off.

It doesn't take me long to get there. As I make my way towards the stairs and pass the reception desk I hear a high-pitched squeal followed by a, "Hi Four, good morning!" I instantly peg the voice as the receptionist's and groan to myself and to think the day had started on good note as in I hadn't seen Marcus.

"Good morning" I reply without looking at her but to my dismay she still continues, "Well did you get a job here?"

"Yes Nita and now if you'll excuse me I have to get to work" I say a bit rudely but I can't help it that girl just grates on my nerves.

Finally she gets the hint and leaves me alone but not before a flirty see you later to which I don't reply. As I enter the office I spot Zeke who bounds over to me in unusually high spirits considering the time.

"Hey man, ready for your new job?" He asks

"Yeah, I'm still a bit nervous though. And I am helping Tris today right?" I ask

"Yeah there she is." He says pointing over to her she's already ready for work but she seems lost in her thoughts. He says it so nonchalantly like the girl hasn't been constantly around in my head, thoughts always flying back to her. I really do hope we get along

It is then that I realize that Zeke has been trying to grab my attention for the past two minutes and all the while I have just been staring at her. Zeke instantly sees this and asks me, whispering for once in his life, "She's the one from the coffee shop, isn't she?"

I want to protest but realize it's of no use and just say, "Yeah the very same one" as casually as I can.

"Ooohhh Yes! Finally my best friend likes someone but just don't approach her immediately y'know cause the last time that happened….well the guy just quit the job and the fact that you're here as the very same guy's replacement is…ironic actually." He says now grinning at me.

I am now thoroughly intrigued, "Well what happened the last time? And I am sure she doesn't even like me anyways." I add as an afterthought. That seems like an understatement she probably hates my guts now. I sadly sigh which fortunately goes unnoticed by Zeke.

"Well it was pretty hilarious, the guy, Al, asked her out and she flat out said no but he didn't want to hear it so he grabbed her wrist and she got so mad that well…she literally judo flipped him above her shoulder still don't know how she managed to do that but it was quite the scene and he quit immediately afterwards, well you know how awkward it would've gotten if he stayed. He was humiliated so damn bad." Zeke was laughing so hard now that he seemed to be beyond the ability to form any coherent words.

And after my initial shock and surprise at how Tris did such a badass thing I joined him too. Thankfully we were in another corner and Tris didn't see us she still was lost in her own world.

Finally containing himself Zeke said, "So be careful mate I don't want to see you judo flipped although it would be worth seeing and not to mention hilarious" With that said he started walking over to her and my nervousness returned.

He asked me to stop some distance far so that he could first talk to her and then introduce me I just hoped he wouldn't say anything embarrassing. I stood there watching as he sneaked up behind her. She didn't even notice him as she was still lost to the world and at that moment she looked so beautiful. Her gaze a million miles away, and her eyes they were what drew me to her and I found myself practically unable to look away and then Zeke startled her.

She jumped startled and turn around to face Zeke she was fuming and he was laughing. Uh-uh I thought to myself Zeke is in pretty hot waters right now. She turned right around and yelled, "Ezekiel Pedrad you had better apologize before I kick you in the balls!"

Zeke was shocked for a second to see her so mad but quickly replied, ""Woah Woah calm down calm down! Jesus Tris what's got into you today?"

I can't hear what they say next and I see Zeke apologizing but still smirking.

He then raises his voice a bit and says, so that I can hear, "Anyways I'm sure you saw that you have a replacement for Al right?" That's my cue so I walk towards them trying to look calm and composed but utterly failing though I doubt she noticed that as she still hasn't looked at me yet then Zeke continues, "So this is Four he is starting from today and will he helping you with your case first."

It is then that she sees me and realization dawns on her face at first she seems a bit annoyed but also a bit guilty. And Zeke seeing her my look says, "So I take it you guys have met before and judging by your expression it didn't go well."

I almost snort it went the exact opposite of well and to try and soothe things out a bit I say, "Look Tris I'm sorry about what happened at the café. I am usually very reserved and don't talk too much so-" at that point Zeke cuts me off by saying, "Yeah Tris you should totally see him at parties and stuff he doesn't even smile."

I instantly throw him my best glare which I know will shut him up and shut him up it does.

I am about to continue but Tris beats me to it by saying, "I think we started off on the wrong foot. How about we start over again and nicely this time." I smile a bit in relief and can see by her expression that she is relieved too so I reintroduce myself to which she replies, "Nice to meet you Four. I'm Tris Prior."

And then we shake hands and the touch send jolts of electricity through me and I look at her and a split second later she looks at me and I am almost certain that I saw her blush but before I can conform Christina, the loud mouthed, mocha-skinned girl from yesterday arrives and we break apart I silently curse her. My skin is tingling at the point where our hands met. I can feel warmth spreading to my body from the place where she touched me.

Tris suddenly clears her throat and Christina speaks up, "Hey Four nice to see you again." This perhaps confuses Tris a bit I don't know why though and I reply, "Hey Christina." Before I can lose my courage I say, "Tris shall we get to work?"

Although work is the last thing I want to do I just want to sit and stare at the work of art that it is in front of me and keep admiring it. God when did I become so poetic I cringe to myself and think I need to keep my feelings under control! This is an office for heaven's sake! I remind myself as Tris nods and motions me to follow her.

I quietly follow her as Zeke throws me a knowing smirk and then goes away when I shoot him another glare.

Once I reach her desk I see that hers is beside mine and when I look at her she glances at the seat and cringes a bit. Huh? I look at her confused and then remember about that guy, Al or whatever his name was, and realize that he used to sit here I still look at Tris but don't push her to say anything and she doesn't and just sighs and removes all the files and gestures me to get logged into the laptop. I got a new one from the company and then she starts explaining all the details about the case she's currently handling to me.

A/N So guys this chapter has come to an end and I know it was just a repetition of the last chapter but I have so much fun with Tobias's POV that I like to write about his POV a lot.
